In this simple hair tutorial, I'm going to teach you how to do 5 lazy & easy hairstyles on your own hair, for girls who's bad at doing hair! All of these quick & easy hairstyles can be done in about 5 minutes, perfect for when you're running late for school or work.
In today's, step-by-step, beginner's hairstyle tutorial, I'm going to show you how to make an everyday faux waterfall braid, voluminous pony with beach waves on yourself. You won't need any skills in French or Dutching braiding here, because we'll be looping sections of hair through the braid for this updo.
I used a 1.25" barrel to get my curls in this tutorial, but you can do all of these pretty hair styles on straight, one length or on layered hair.
The second hairstyle is an elegant low looped pony, which should take you about 3 minutes to do, but is also suitable for a fancy occasion, like the prom, homecoming, wedding, date, meetings, etc.
In the third hairstyle, I'm going to show you how to fake a messy, Dutch braided, side braid. And the last hairstyle is a pull-through mohawk, 90's half-up bun.

Hi guys, how are you i am tina from mega wearables and today we're doing lazy, easy hairstyles for girls, who's bad at doing their hair, make a deep side part and then grab a small section and make a regular braid but braid it tightly. And then, after tying the ends we're going to start looping small sections of hair through the braid in a faux waterfall, braid style, so grab a small piece from the front and loop it through the braid and repeat this all the way down making sure we're not Twisting the braid as we're doing it, and i like to hairspray each section to control some of my crazy flyaways, but you guys don't have to do that. Only do this part if you also have baby hair drama all right. So then, when you get to about here, we're gon na take all the hair except your braid, into a high ponytail. Now all you need to do is pull out the braids to make it prettier and normally, i would say, wrap the last braid around the elastic band and call it a day. But i'm wearing my hair extensions here. That makes the ponytail a lot thicker than it really would have been so in this situation. What we're gon na do is wrap our hair around the elastic band and then wrap the braid afterwards, and here i'm fixing my white scalp situation with some eyeshadow. I don't really include this in my tutorials, because i always assume that you guys already know, but if you have dark, hair and you're, naturally very fair, then you're going to have lines. If you put your hair into a tight hairstyle for this, one make a deep side part and then section out your side from your crown to the back of your ear and put the rest into a low ponytail, but any ponytail will work for this technique. Okay, so then we're going to twist the section we left out and wrap it around the elastic at least once and then insert two fingers from underneath the elastic. So you can grab the last piece and pull it under and then tie the ponytail again with an elastic band and what you get is this simple but elegant little ponytail that looks like it's been knotted, but it's really not. My hair is dark. So it's a little hard to see, but in person it looks so much nicer and for this third cute messy boho braid we're going to gather our crown and make a regular braid and then we're going to divide out the sides. From crown to the back of our ear and then put the braid and the back portion into a low ponytail, next we're going to wrap the side sections around the elastic starting from the left side, wrap it around at least once then, either clip it away or Hold it in your mouth, so you can wrap the other side and then we're going to divide the ponytail into three pieces to start a regular braid. So after dividing the ponytail into three pieces, we're going to incorporate the wrapped around sections to the side strands before starting the normal braid all right and then after tying the ends, all you need to do now is loosen up the brace. So you don't look like a seven-year-old and i, like my braids messy, so i'm going to mess it up even further, but that's optional, of course, and as for this last baby, mohawk style, i'm going to show you guys how to do this. Two ways. Take a small section in the front and make a pony and then get another elastic and tie it just one inch below it, because what we're gon na do is we're gon na pull the next section between these two elastics. So now we're gon na take a small piece from behind and pull it through these two elastics and then we're going to tie this new piece with an elastic again we're going to take some hair from the back, pull it between the elastics, quick and then we're Gon na fan out the sides to make the braid pop more and if you guys want, you, can then take the rest to form a half up bun by twisting it around and securing it first with an elastic and then few bobby pins.
