Do bye if you have fine hair? I bet you have heard this before get layers. It will give you volume i'm here to tell you no do not get layers. It will not give you volume what it's going to do. It'S going to collapse your baseline and make your hair look wispy at the bottom, and hence finer and thinner. It has taken me 36 years and a lot of bad haircuts to finally find a look that is super versatile, easy to style and that i love this haircut makes my fine hair look so full that everyone seems to think that i have thick hair now, which Is hilarious because i absolutely do not - which you can see in this example right here with a very bad haircut, since this haircut was so life-changing for my style, and since i get so many questions about it. In the comments section, i decided to take you guys with me when i got a trim last week so that i could explain it to you. Let'S go. Let'S give a little shout out to my hairstylist rebecca her instagram handle is at painted by rebecca. If you live in the waterloo region in southwestern ontario, i definitely recommend seeing her and following her online, she is meticulous and totally detailed obsessed. We get each other before i've got questions about this in the comment section, i'm wearing a mask because i had coveted previously and although i was testing negative that morning i put on a mask to protect rebecca and everyone else in the salon. Anyway, since i had covet about 10 days prior to that appointment, i know that i probably was not contagious or i wasn't contagious, but i did anyways because it doesn't bother me and i don't want to be a gigantic. So rebecca starts by cutting the front of my hairline to establish the desired length that we are after what can happen when you start cutting the back first. Is that because the back hairline is lower than the front hairline right? So at the back of your head, the hair grows here at the nape at the front of your head. The hair grows here above the ear, so the hairline at the back is lower. It scoops down, then at the front, so sometimes it seems like the back is longer than the front because of the hairline difference. What can also happen is that when we are styling our hair, we're often styling the front, so we can get heat damage there. That'S also usually, where we place our highlights, so we can get chemical damage there, sometimes that hair breaks and damages, so the back is healthier and longer than the front in general. If you establish a guide in the back, when you get to the front, the front may be shorter by default, and you may not even have anything left to cut so you're, not refreshing those ends. What can also happen is that this can lead to a little step where the front is slightly shorter than the back. That'S happened to me before you can see it in this haircut that i had and and honestly it looks terrible. So if your hairstylist starts at the front, they are establishing the length that you want and the front really is the most important. Since that's what you see and that's what you style and that's what you're looking at anyways, then when you've established that length at the front, you can match the back of it accordingly. This is a much easier and also a much more precise way of cutting a bob or a long bob. Now the key to this haircut. That makes it look so good is the fact that there is. Are you ready for it? Zero layering zero layering because there are no layers. Every single section of hair meets at the exact same point when you have fine hair. If you do this, your baseline will look much fuller, which will trick the eye into thinking that the hair itself is thick. It is an amazing illusion for fine hair, the shorter that baseline is the thicker. Your hair will look. I have had this haircut in multiple lengths and i prefer it on my face shape when it's slightly longer like a lob, a long bob. But if you like, a shorter bob and you have fine hair, you will be shocked. You will be shocked to see how thick your hair actually looks when it is blunt and when it is at like a chin length now something else that rebecca does that. I find so interesting is that after she cuts the baseline, she cuts up into the hair to ensure that there is no graduation there's no layering and to make everything look super super square. This also helps that bottom layer to not flip out. We all have that annoying flippy outbob experience check out her finger angling here when she does that this really is the solution to that issue after she blow dries it. She actually goes in and perfects the details of that line. One more time now i love having some short pieces through the front, because i wear my hair in a lot of different styles and i like to leave out some framing. I really like to leave out some soft face framing layers. If you like this as well, what you want to ask for is a long curtain fringe. It'S not a big section that i have cut, but it's enough to give me versatility and framing in my styling, while still maintaining a baseline at the front of my hair. So this is what it looked like immediately after in the car after i got it cut. I asked her not to style it, because i was going to jump in the pool with my kids anyways and it would have been a huge waste of time for her. But when i do style it sometimes i blow it out big to get that. You know. 90S super model vibe. Sometimes i wave it with a curling wand. Sometimes i curl it with my timo airflow and sometimes i'll leave my natural texture and i will just literally scrunch and diffuse it. I wear this haircut half up. I wear it all up. I wear it with cute topsy tails i use hot rollers, sometimes i'll even do pull through braids or french braids. This really is the perfect haircut. If you have fine hair, because it is not limiting, it gives you the illusion of fullness while still giving you a ton of flexibility in your actual styling. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you want more advice on different haircuts that trick people into thinking that your thin hair is thick, then check out this video next i'll also leave it in the pinned comment below. If you have any video requests, as always leave them. In the comments i monitor and read those every single day, i'll see you guys next week, bye

Really Rebeccah: Hey guys!!! It's Rebeccah, the stylist from the video, I'm so happy you all like the video so much!! I am so happy to have even a small part in it! Gabi is a sweet beautiful angel!

Yvonne Ramirez: Oh my gosh woman, you have been a life saver. I'm slowly letting my layers grow out. I started losing my hair in my early 20's and I have so been enjoying your content. Im 50 now and more confident than ever styling and using all the tips and tricks you have recommended for all of us fabulous thin, fine haired girls! Thank you so much

Christina Marie: Hi Gabi, I watched your previous video about this haircut a couple of months ago and it was the best advice I have ever gotten for my fine thin hair!!! I immediately cut it myself, and though I'm not a hairdresser and it was pretty rough, it is the best hair cut I've ever had. I am almost 53, and spent my whole life underwhelmed by any professional cut I've ever had.... always with the layers they said I needed!! I feel 39 and fabulous with this cut, even just rolling out of bed on day 3 hair. Thank you so much!!! I do have an issue I am looking for help with, my part is very long... I generally wear a center part but it goes off to the side down the back of my head and it is so tricky to hide. Would so appreciate any advice on this!

Jade: Hi Gabi! Great video and I love this cut on you. It really does make your hair look so thick. I love all,of the styles you’ve done with it. Can you do a video on that please? Have a great day ❤️

Hanusia Higgins: This is perfect timing since I have a haircut appointment in a few days! I am definitely going to ask for this cut. My hair is a lot thinner than it used to be so your advice to lay off of the layers (which used to be my go-to) is so helpful!

S Kumar: Omg! You hit the nail on the head! I’ve had this problem for all my life with layers! I realized this same awakening some time ago and have been growing my hair for over 6 mths to get this type of bob cut. Love your haircut

Cara K: Love how many styles you showed with this cut! I was surprised how much you can do with a length than is moderate. Looks lovely

KatyandJoemac: Nice to have this confirmed. I was always told to add layers to my "thick unruly" hair to make it more manageable and it always looked terrible. They even used to go in with thinning shears on my hair. I got the idea from Milabu about 2 years ago to have zero layers when I watched her vlog of her haircut. I actually say to the hairdresser - no layers, not a single one just to make sure. There are some good tips here - I didn't quite follow the bit where she cut up into the hair. Oh can you also do a tutorial on your French braid - I am hopeless at them!

Amy Dillard: Thanks for the advice Gabi! I haven't cut my hair since before covid and when it's so long it looks very fine and thin! I can't wait to get it cut back into a blunt bob- I felt so much prettier when I had one. I needed your inspiration

NovemberNerdyGirl: Absolutely!!! it took me YEARS of bad haircuts to actually find someone that suggested cutting it blunt to make it look thicker. The difference is HUGE! Layers into fine hair - bad idea! They always made it look wispy and lifeless. It only had volume when styled at the salon right after cutting it. And the split ends would be spread aaaalll over my head. Blunt cuts for the win!!! ☺️☺️☺️

Barbara Bailey: Gabi, I’m a new subscriber and finding you videos super helpful! I do have one problem I’d like to run but you. During the pandemic, I decided it was time to go naturally gray. Since I was blonde, it blended nicely and was pretty easy. I love my pretty silver gray, BUT I lost a lot of my curl somehow. Given it took me 60 years to find out my hair was super wavy, I feel sad and kind of lost. Any suggestions?

L M: Hi Gabi. I love the content of your videos. I have fine textured straight hair that is somewhat dense in quantity. I have had variations of the same cut for decades (since my high school graduation lol). Shorter layers, longer layers - it makes no difference. My hair is flat and sticks to my head. Your cut and color are absolutely stunning

DoxTrax Studios: This cut looks amazing on you! I too have fine hair (but a lot of it, so I'm told) and, for the majority of my life, hairstylists have recommended layers to add volume. I was never happy with the wispy bottom layer that flew out when I walked (ugh!). I'm slowly getting my cut to grow out to one length, just meeting at the shoulder, and now the right side constantly flips out even though I use my styling tool exactly the same way on both sides. My stylist said it was because I had less hair on that side. Hmmm. Any suggestions? P.S. "Hi" from western Canada!

Maria Pawlicka: Thank you Gabi! My hairdresser always recommended layers to my wavy hair....now I know how it should be done. It's too bad your hairdresser is in Waterloo not in Toronto . Love your suggestions!!

Kim R: Gaby, I love your channel. I took your advice and I got the short bob (longer in the front haircut) for the summer. I loved the cut and agree that it helped make my hair look fuller. I am ready to start gradually growing it out to a blunt bob. But how do I tell my stylist to cut the front first? She has been doing hair for 20+ years, and worked for many years in NYC. How do you tell a professional that you know better? Seems like a way to ruin a relationship with an otherwise competent stylist. I have lived a lot of places and have had at least a dozen stylists over the years, and none of them cut the sides/front first.

Antoniette Musolino: Gabi it looks fantastic love the cut ,❤ it really does make a difference I used to get layers too, not any more your deft right amica, also just wondering is a blunt cut better for fine hair too as I love that look ! Love the tutorials Gabi

Teena Covert: Your videos have changed my life! I have fine feather like frizzy hair that I have been growing out to one length. If I could just figure out which product to use to get it to hold the waves, I’ll be really thrilled!

Paula Thornton: This all makes sense, but the difficult part is to tell a stylist how to cut your hair…they don’t listen and don’t appreciate it. I had my hair grown out to one length and it took me about a year (health reasons helped), and then I went for a hair trim and said “no layers” please. Well, I now have “long layers”…boy, it sure made my hair very thin looking. It’s already very fine and thin from bad health. Any tips on how to ask for something without offending anyone? Thanks, Gabi!! Your hair looks AMAZING!!

Krissi B: I am beyond thrilled that I found your channel!!! I have baby fine, thin hair..THANK YOU for all of your tips and tricks to styling! Helps renew hope that maybe I can do more than just have my hair lay flat to my head. Now if I can get the execution of some of styles down that would be super..haha!!! Love all of your videos! Thank you again!!!♡♡♡♡

Sandra Chandler: I just watched your video and OMG! It seems like my whole adult life stylists tell me to get layers, and it has the effect you’re talking about with having the ends seem stringy and skimpy. Then I grow it out but after a while I want a change, and guess what! More layers that I end up hating! This video makes so much sense!

Jessica Smith: The last time I went to get my haircut was a nightmare. I wanted a shoulder length blunt bob, and they told me an angled bob would look better on me. They nearly cut off all my hair in the back. It was the worst haircut I've ever gotten. I've been having a hard time finding a stylist I love. I go get another cut in 1.5 weeks at a different salon, I hope they can pull this off. Wish me Luck!!

PRATISHA SHARMA: Hi Gabi, please do a tutorial on you hairstyles shown in this video, loved it !!

K Cam: Love your content Gabi, so helpful and relevant Though your hair is fine it looks like you have great density, do you have extensions in? I’d love to do the braids but my hair is so thin and sparse there’s nothing there to create the necessary volume. Looking forward to the video on the styling.

NOLA's Family: Good tip to start cutting in front, nothing like having to wait for the sides to grow out! Have a great day Gabi!

Kimberly Magleby: I found your channel a couple months ago and after watching a similar video was brave enough to cut my long, layered fine hair into a lob!! And I love it Thank you!

Nancy Phipps: Hello Gabi, Can you give me specific language to use with my stylist regarding the step that prevents it from flipping out in the back? I fear my stylist will start point cutting if I ask her to cut at an angle. she typically holds my hair out at an angle when point cutting. Thank you!!

Summer Sadie: Hi Gabi, This is a little off topic, but am wondering if you have ever used the k18 hair treatment product? It's supposed to help repair your hair . . . kind of like olaplex, but different if that makes sense. Also, I know you use lots of different tools to style your hair and wonder if the dyson airwrap is one you use frequently or not? Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge with all of us fine, thin hair gals.

Christine Weitz: Hi Gabi, love this video. My stylist says I need layers for my fine hair. I guess I’ll find a new one. He never listens to me. I’m definitely going to cut my hair just don’t know if I should wait since my son getting married oct 1st.

63LindaLou: Love this video ... well, I love all your videos! And you look absolutely stunning with no makeup! I'm still waiting for my shipment of Kerotin as it's now hung up at customs so it's on the way.

Sandra Gahn: Hi Gabi, absolutely love your hair and how you style it, I have thick natural curl to mine and have always had layers, do you think this applies to thick hair also?

Amy: Hi Gabi what cut do you recommend for fine curly hair?? Thank you :)

K L B: Thank you SO much! I know I asked you on your last video about layers and this is such a great explanation.

Desiree: I FINALLY learned to stop getting layers on my own 2 years ago,at 40!!!

Sam Gorsche: Hey Gabi. All the hairstylists I have had start at the back when cutting. How do recommend I ask for them to start at the sides without pissing them off.

Leila A. M. Martin: I've been getting blunt cuts for years on my fine, low-density, 2a hair and it's so boring what's your take on some light internal layering?

Kathleen Harrell: Thank you for a great video, definitely want to try a longer blunt cut!

Shilpa Mangaokar: Love this advice .. bit it looks great on a sensational bone structure like your face ! I have a round face with a square jaw and my fine frizzy hair becomes like a triangle shape from forehead to collar bone :( Thanks anyway !

Yvette Calderone: Love this look on you! Gorgeous!

Atheria PsychicGal: I am SO anti layering. Heck, I only have about 10 hairs left on my head, sadly, so it would be even more horrible if I got layers.

Ivy Lynn: Thank you so much for sharing! This is perfect

Bee Yowarski: Hi! Love the haircut! How would I explain this haircut to my hairdresser if I wanted her to replicate it on me?

Carol Warford: Hey! I took your advice and cut my hair like this and love it!!! Do you have any shampoo/conditioner recommendations for us fine hair girls??

Susy H: Aw, I had a blunt cut and it looked amazing on my thin hair. Then my hair grew and I got a few long layers. And the other week I got even more layers in my curly/wavy thin hair and the hair stylist cut a very short layer in (I didn’t object, but now I remember after I saw your video). I don’t like the super short layer. I’m going to grow it all out and have one length, at collar bone length. Just came across your channel and saw your video about face shapes and body shape… and I’m petite but curvy, so I find that I don’t quite like bobs, but more longer wavy hair about collar bone length. Thanks for your videos and helping me think of what I like best.

Joanna T: I just had my hair cut in this style. It’s awesome. Will you do a drying video showing how you get the the 90’s volume? Love it.

Turra Gorman: You my friend are gorgeous, smart and so on point. I have been told to get layers and always looked like a stringy mess. I am using MD Hair products and my hair is growing out nice. I recently got a stylist tell me to go with stacked bob to get more volume. I drank the Kool aid and hated it. I got a stylist I trust and she trimmed it up to get it closer to blunt, though short it is growing out nicely. I love your hair length and hopefully by year end it will be back to lob. I am going to make my stylist watch this video before the next cut. Thank you Gabi, your videos are made for my hair.

Nick Davis: Love your content & channel. My question is what about color, btw (my roots in front are 25- 30% gray). Other than your beautiful chestnut locks with caramel lights , what root color and highlights work best to show thickness in fine hair ? I was about to cut my hair from blunt bob (tried lob 1st) into layers because of that bell looking cut. I've watched you style your hair and was looking forward to video on brushes. What gives you what. Well I have every barrell size and yet the bell look still prevailing. I now realize it's the cut. My hairdresser always starts at the back. Looking for a new hairdresser as I've done a few different colors with this cut (the only one I liked was this one, similar to yours now) and she still bells it out. No matter what length. KNOW that this is THE video I needed to see exactly at this moment. Thank you very much for all your content. I'm 52, hardly any wrinkles and I only want to look a few yrs. younger. Lol. I appreciate you!

Sunny Day: I love this and I ask for this cut pretty much how you said minus cutting it in the front and starting in the front which is interesting I'm having a hard time finding a stylist that I love I have fine hair but a lot of it and I never want layers and I've had a lot of bad haircuts in the past which were and still can be traumatizing I even had a stylist tell me that they can't cut my hair without layers that's just not their "technique" which is absolute bullshit I've had stylist texturize my hair which really messed me up all it did was shatter the ends make it look UNHEALTHY and it caused me severe anxiety and a OCD that's still in my life partly because of this trauma because of what they did and I'll never forget it... Stylist have to listen but at the same time be humble and show compassion as well as really putting in the time to understand the person's head and the collicks be kind and caring and give advice NOT I think I know what I'm doing I've been doing this for 30 years which means nothing to me because there are so many stylists that really shouldn't be doing this profession anymore they're burnt out out dated stubborn and set in their ways and they usually don't listen they just DO WHATEVER THEY WANT even when you take the time to tell them or show them a picture of what you like and then that's EVEN better when you do show them a picture or you show them more then one then their like I'm not sure what you want and every picture is a BOB but slightly longer or shorter but basically the same range this is how the conversation and communication is and yet they went to school they've been doing this for years and yet they can't help you decide when you show them pictures absolutely absurd..‍ I'm so SAD with this industry at times I feel like it's all bullshit like your in this land of con artists frauds fake scissor happy jerks and unfortunately these are the BAD apples and I know they're not all like this also when someone gets a BAD haircut and you tell a stylist that you've never been too and they can see PLAIN as DAY that it's not RIGHT the stylist then say "well they just cut hair differently" absolute bullshit again and to be quite honest I should really just leave immediately after they say this PLEASE STOP WITH THE CODE OF PROTECTING BAD STYLISTS it's not helping the new stylist by saying this at ALL and yeah STYLISTS can cut differently which is a shame at times there really should be a right way and a wrong but okay if it works then so be it but for some of US it doesn't and less is MORE at the end of the day... For me getting a HAIRCUT is like going to the dentist I have to tell them please I have anxiety issues I've even asked to please can you please not sit me right next to another client I really think that is horrible too we need space and a calm environment I need to find a one person salon or a salon that specializes in a calm atmosphere it's REALLY important for me and many others who suffer with PTSD and anxiety.. What I like is NO LAYERS and it's been this way for years I like it slightly inverted but not big time inverted and a solid baseline no texturizing no razor no point cutting but still soft and I like it so it can go under if I want as well here's the problem I have a lot of hair but FINE HAIR and the problem is I have a lot of it and then the stylist gets SCISSOR HAPPY and this is what causes me to lose my mind over my haircut the hair in the back underneath the bottom layers many want to cut it so so so so so SHORT then I have this issue where I'm then GUTTED OUT and then it's like I have NO HAIR oh my God it's like the hair becomes unevenly distributed and this is KEY TO A GOOD HAIR CUT EVEN DISTRIBUTION OF HAIR MAJOR KEY stay far away from those stylist that say they can't cut without layers stay away from point cutting with this type of style maybe a pixie bob but even that I wouldn't do layers or maybe a pixie for that point cutting but razor texturizing run and run fast UNLESS you have thick hair or you doing a wolf cut or a shag something like that and of course some pixie bobs and pixies again you really have to have thick hair even with these style's if your hair is fine and thin the razor and texturizing are NOT YOUR FRIEND so really stay away anyways these methods are harsh on the hair and only make it look thinner frayed and shattered not a good look run if they think it's best for your hair I really think normal to fine thin hair should be careful with these methods and even curly hair too no razor or texturizing also when a stylist wants to use a CLIPPER to create a line or trim a bob or longer RUN when it' a short haircut like a pixie it makes sense this is being used a lot and it's a LAZY WAY to cut hair and also not the right way to cut longer hair it's harsh not precise they think it is but it's not and if anything it's too too blunt making the hair look and feel straw like and sharp this is my thoughts on it... Now I suffer with OCD and I've been cutting my hair with tiny scissors very tiny and it's not good it definitely can cause more anxiety and I never had this problem until I was traumatized.. Now my last haircut I was gutted me out the hair on the back of my head underneath the which then hallows me out and it's absolutely horrible I told her not to do that but she did it I was trying to communicate and I said please don't and she did WHATEVER she wanted to do and then other stylists defend this WHY makes no sense STOP THAT PLEASE this is crazy to defend someone who is cutting the clients hair jacked up call it out and say it was wrong I've had this happen before and the stylist did call them out so that was good it needs to be addressed and enough defending poorly done work .. And it feels like its gonna take forever for that bottom layers the hair underneath to grow in these layers must be solid it's one of the most important parts of a haircut the FOUNDATION it's like a house if the FOUNDATION is f'd up then the rest is a mess now the bottom layers underneath are maybe 3 inches if that there's no reason for this not for a slightly above the shoulder BOB NOT at ALL makes no sense and yet they ALL CUT DIFFERENTLY SO ANYTHING GOES..‍ Please stylists please you have to STOP seating us right next to another client you have to please listen make suggestions but show compassion and patience as well as know your skills own them but stay humble we're ALL always learning EVEN AFTER 30 YEARS ENOUGH WITH THE I KNOW IT ALL and go to those classes as much as you can take the Vidal Sassoon classes they will really help it's all about PRECISION which is also KEY to a great haircut and if your eyesight is bad please get out of this profession you can't see well STOP CUTTING HAIR make sure your eyes are well taken care of get your sleep take care of yourself meditate rest your legs often get massages and be one with nature when you can this will help ground you because your on your feet you need self love... ❤️

Lisa Swords: ❤️❤️Hi, Gabi! Beautiful as always!! Can you please tell me the products you used for fullness and smoothness, please, that will not weigh my hair down!❤️❤️

Glam Seamless: LOVE this look, you are beautiful!

Marsha Phonda: Wow, you look so good with no Make-Up and with that natural hair style! Amazing!

Marian Congiusta: Love this video! Can you make a video about back parts …. So so frustrating need advice how to handle

MARI STA: It took me 40 years to accidentally find out the same thing about my hair!

Erin C: Gabi, can I get this haircut about 2-3” longer? I have fine hair, with very thin sides. I love wearing my hair up. High messy bun is my go to. My hair tangles so easily, that when it is down, it rubs on my back, and tangles into a rats nest. So bad. I have a long neck, and my hair looks good up. But I’d love to be able to wear it down more. This might be a great cut for me, but slightly longer to wear it up too.

Anna Hewitt: Oh my goodness I have to agree with you. I just got a cut and it turned shorter than expected. I know it will grow but I am not happy with it. I guess my problem is my curls are in the from and the back is wavy. It’s really hard to find a good stylist.

Deb I.: I've just recently discovered your YouTube channel and I'm enjoying your content very much! My hair has changed since I've gotten older and it seems thinner now (and it has more of a wave and tries to curl a bit) so I think a cut like this would be perfect. You're exactly right, layers takes away from the base and makes it look too wispy and thinner. It's few and far between when I actually have my haircut by my stylist. My hair has always been on the very long side and I've always trimmed the bottom just a little bit myself, but if I have something more involved, I go to her and thankfully she always listens to what I have to say and offers good suggestions. My hair also grows extremely fast and the shortest it's ever been has actually been touching the top of my shoulders, but not totally up closer to my chin. I also have a question... I know you had struggled with hair thinning/loss throughout the years and tried many things to help with that issue. I realize everyone is different, but out of the topical and supplement things that you've tried over time, do you still feel that MD Hair ranks at the top of your list? I'm just beginning research on different things like that for a bit of thinning at my crown area and I also have a cowlick there which sometimes makes it look worse than it is... I have to style through that thing to wear my hair straight! Thank you so much and your hair is beautiful!!

Caroline Trezise: Thank you for explaining this, I just had a trim, and was looking really good until the hairdresser started using thinning scissors the sides are now horribly thin

Silly Girl: Can you recommend a flat iron for fine hair with highlights? Thank you for all the fabulous tips you send our way.

Jan Rod: Hi! Love your hair! I’ve been wanting to ask, what is your hair color/ or highlights? & what products do you use to have your hair so beautiful & shiny? Love all your hair tips & styles. I ordered the tymo 2 in one from watching your video, I know it will help my hair achieve a thicker look since I have thin hair! I just had my haircut like yours & hopefully it’ll get healthier & grow! What tips do you have for the crown area my hair is so flat? Thank you! Keep those videos coming please. You give us so many tips like no other!!

AC Haley: Great vid! Great haircut! ❤️⭐️

Kimberly Valdez: I have a hair appointment this Saturday and I am sending my stylist this video now! Thank you

Pamela McNerney: I love the advice you give to we women who were not born with full hair. My fine extremely frizzy hair is completely out of control. I have used some of the products for hair that is like wires and uncontrollable frizzy too. As soon as I walk out the door my hair started to convert back. How do you feel about Keratin treatments. Will that make my hair look really thin? Is there something stronger out there I can use but never heard of? I’ve used WOW and it’s a ten. To name a couple. But nothing really works. Help pleassssse

Ainsley Jordan: you look GORGEOUS! I have butt length hair but I am going to grow it out for a little longer and then I will cut at least a foot and a half off and donate it to get it to this length, maybe a bit longer.

Anne Hazell: Looks lovely

Secondeve: Hi, I love this cut, but how does it work if you use extensions?

Jan Dutton: I agree with you about the layers - layers on fine hair just guarantees that your hair will be in knots with the slightest breeze!

La Petite Célia: I did my own haircut yesterday at home ( lob ) and i did some layers only on the upper part of my hair to give it texture and a mouvement, but my thin hair is still blunt and thick at the end ❤️

Anna Burns: Great info. I'm going to ask my hair do lady to watch it next time I'm there.

msporredoss: What products do you use when you wear your hair natural wavy? Would this cut work on a round face?

Suraiya Nahreen: Do you know any haircut for long hair that'll look good also when open?(for frizzy hair)

Margo Martin: I am so afraid I'm going to look like the character in Shrek with the bulbous end like a triangle. I'll give this cut a shot one more time. I'll show my stylist this video.

Sylvia Young: Love this stylist and want to go see her. Can you please tell me how to contact her. Thank you and your hair is beautiful!

Lana Miller: ok I might try this> I have very thin hair and a bit of a round face. I think the layers add "volume" to the sides of my face which in turn makes me look flat on top and more round.

Butterfly: Really happy with the Revlon flat iron that you recommended! :) Thank you again.

Nini: Can you recommend shampoo and conditioner and styling wand. I don’t seem to get the same wavey curls with mine

Loves Dogs: You just look amazing, this video gave me the urge to grasp my scissors, lol. Fighting now, ummmm, to Bob or not.

K B: Layers give my fine curls diamond head! Flat on top, poofed out at chin length, then tapered in to nearly invisible pointed ends. Horrible! Worse than triangle head! I decided to grow my hair to all one length and couldn't be happier with the fullness and volume. This video confirms I made the right decision. Your advice is spot-on and for that, I thank you!

Ansar. Haddad: What to do if we have thin hair at the front? Like a lot of baby hair and thin sides ❤️❤️ .

Greeklight: I love the haircut and all the ways you styled it. Does your stylist have a You Tube channel? Let us know.

Jane Houck: Thank you for the tips. You are so beautiful. God bless you

susan mansfield: My hair is so much finer as I get older I have long layers in shoulder length hair & hilights for texture but struggle to get any root lift that stays even with long layers. How will I get any root lift with one length hair? I have a long face and need volume on top to balance. Love your channel Gabby - you always look great and give clear advice in a fun way xx

Hoppy Hoppy: Love your hair !

BEAUTÉ À TOUT ÂGE / TIMELESS BEAUTY: Hello Gabi, thank you once again for your great videos. Could you please tell me what is the name of the Salon Rebecca works at? I don’t have Instagram unfortunately. Thank you so much!!

SMJ: Hi Gabi can you show us how to cut up in the length? Not sure what you mean by this. Tks ❤️

Pandora’sBox: Those of us who have really flat heads at the back NEED to have some layers at the back to create the illusion of a rounded skull.

Paula Randazzo: Hi Gabi - when I got my hair cut I asked for a blunt cut but the hair was texturized and lots of cutting was done after the hair was cut and dried. And it has grown in very stringy and thin looking. I want to get a cut like yours - blunt - but I am wondering what the thing is that your hairstylist did at the bottom - was that texturizing? It doesnt look like she thinned it at all. Thanks much! Love your videos. ♥️

Elise K: What if you have layers already and bangs?

YGiann: long story short....You're AMAZING!!

DJS S: Fantastic video! Can you please show us how to achieve the fullness at the beginning of the video and the up do at 0.17. I have been trying to do it myself, but it never works out. In appreciation, Debbie

William Charles: It looks awesome your hair has gotten longer. The cut does has some graduation. After taking a toni and guy class, a true 0 zero degree is cut in comb with no tension. The way she was cutting the hair on sides is what they would call " one finger depth elevation ' it was cut at slight 45 degree angle in the back after the perimeter was established. It was the cleaning of the hair the in dry faze is what gave the hair cut strength at the bottom. I do tend to over analyze, lol! It looks amazing, that's what really matters. I tell my fine hair clients the same thing, having a strong blunt line makes the hair look thicker

Mary Jenkins: GGG-I am in awe of your mad creative skill-I think I got a girl crush

Shahnaz: This is so true my hair is very fine and thin and I will only cut it straight now because otherwise with layers it's like I have no hair

Lizzeth Gonzalez: Hi would it be considered offensive towards my hairdresser if I show her your video for reference? I wouldn’t want her to think I don’t know what she’s doing but I don’t trust myself on knowing how to properly explain it to her

Rutuja Dicholkar: My regular stylist was out of town for a month so I went to a different hairstylist who was suggested by my friend. Oh boy, she messed up my hair big time! she gave me super short layers and I have fine to medium thickness so my ends look stringy, wispy and has gaps. My ends always looked fuller but she gave me such a bad haircut and also took away so much of my length. I have 2c-3a curls and I wear them natural all the time so I was so shocked because my hair curled up way too much and looks super short. It's gonna take me at least 2 years to grow it out to my previous length. Please choose your hairstylist wisely and once you find the right one, STICK TO THEM! Don't do the mistake I did. Your regular stylist just knows you, your hair and your preferences.

THUYÊN THANH TV: Haircut very nice ,ze ❤️

An K: I lovvvvvve your hair cut but what about when we have round face and we are heavier!

David Revils: Looks amazing

Anne Wongsesanit: Wish I could go there but I live in San Antonio texas. What is the name of the hair cut to ask for? I really NEED this cut please

A: Hi does it work on curly fine thin hair

Mai: This is becoming complicated, sweetie... not only do I need you in CPH for my styling, now I also need Rebeccah During covid I cut my lob myself with fair success, if I may say so. A few weeks back I went to a proper hair salon. Not super trendy, but I only needed a trim, and how difficult can it be to cut straight thin hair one length, right? Came home with a concave backside I have fixed it myself, but next time I have to consider a trip to Ontario ✈Oh and may I add: you in the car without makeup ❤‍

Dolsie Mercado: Thank you.
