Hey guys welcome to a new video. Please excuse background noise, we're going through a heatwave and I have the doors open today, as you can see by the tile I'm going to be trying another heatless curling method, it's been a while, since I've done one of these, they used to really be my thing And I still absolutely love open like heedless curling methods and I'm all mostly surprised that I've never tried this one before in my life, because it is a pretty well-known one. That is why he used headband curls yeah. Here we are so obviously it is now the morning after so before. I you know um do this and show you the results. Let'S move to last night, when I did my hair up in the head back crowing, shape method thing. First of all, I brushed through my hair really well making sure it is completely tangle free and then I took a setting lotion. I always feel like overnight. Curls just want a little bit better when you use some type of setting lotion instead of just plain water. If you don't want to use a setting lotion, you could just use plain water, but I am going to using my lotta body styling lotion today, I'm gon na be using this for the first time I ordered it online turns out. You totally can buy these in the Meadowlands, which is really nice. It says in the bottle. You don't need to dilute this, but it also says to apply it on damp hair and since I usually apply on dry hair, I am going to dilute it anyway. So I used about half and half of the setting lotion and just plain tap water, so I am going to spray. My hair with is completely saturated, but I don't want my hair to be like dripping what I want it to be kind of damn. Basically, I just want my hair to be able to dry in the curl shape so that the curls hold really nicely throughout the day. So I make sure to really focus on my ends and then be sure that I spread out the lotion all over. My hair. Really nicely and then I'm going to take a headband now, since my hair is on the spinner and finer side, I decided to take a headband that is a little bit thicker, so that my hair has something to wrap around. Usually when my hair has to wrap. Basically, just around itself, it doesn't even come out as curls, but more like crinkles. I guess it's your gon na look nice when your hair is too thin to actually wrap around itself in a nice cruel pattern. So I decided to use a bigger headband to use this, I'm going to start by taking the hair right next to my face and I'm going to start wrapping this around the headband. So I just wrap it once then I let it go. I take a new section of hair, which I represent once and then I go around my entire head. Like this, I move from one front to the back like one side to the back and then the other side to the back and all the hair. That'S left in the end, the tail I just wrap around like the same part, and then I do the exact same thing. On the other side, I just take a piece of hair up and around the headband. Let it go. Take a new piece of hair wrap. It around the headband all the way to the back, and then it should look something like this. So I decided to just go over with an extra spritz of that setting lotion, because now my roots are exposed, and that is usually the part that is hardest to actually saturate with a little spray bottle. So just giving it a little extra spritz. Just to be sure, then off camera, I decided to just slide in some bobby pins in some places where I felt like this might start to slip. So that is right here on the inside and I flick on the inside of this roll. I tried to catch some hair or you can see what has kind of come undone over here. I don't know if you can see it on camera, but it is right here and I just salute it kind of in behind and I try to catch as many of the roll as I could and kind of secure it to the hair. In the back like that, so I think I have like four. I have two here and then to here on top and you can see it survived a night pretty well I'm someone who doesn't in terms a lot being asleep. So the fact that it still looks this good is promising. Let'S take it out. I am really excited to see how this looks. I am a little bit worried about my ends because I'm not entirely sure I refuse well. I also actually had a dream tonight that I woke up several times that much you have happened, but I think it was a dream that I woke up and my hair hadn't dried and you know it's bad when you start dreaming about your website and like trying Overnight anyways spins around, so I guess let's take this down, I'm not actually sure what the best way is to go about this many I shouldn't go from the top. Maybe I should start unraveling it where I actually ended. That'S like you! Okay, maybe if your hair tangles easily, this is fun to be careful with that, doesn't look too bad. If you ask me, that's actually some really nice curls, especially considering how extremely effortless this was to do. I mean it took me seven minutes in total, and that was my first ever time trying this and filming it at the same time so obviously took a little bit longer than if I were just do it. So I guess like I could do this in under five minutes at night and it actually looks really really nice. I do think I used too much of that styling lotion. My old styling lotion was alcohol based for some reason. So that's why I decided to buy a new one and this one is very heavy oils and I think it's a bit too much for my hair. If I use that much so I either need to go new it a bit more or he's used a little bit less, although I'm very happy with this result, guys I feel, like my roots, are a little bit flat and my hair is a tad frizzy, but I'M not sure that's because of the way I curled it or, if that's still gon na come down or if it's because of the crazy humidity and heat that we had at the moment. But honestly, this is really really good results. I think there is still a little bit more perfecting to do when it comes through this method and I'm sure I'll be able to figure out how to work around certain things like the frizzy everything but onal, I'm very happy with this result. It looks great, in my opinion, very good for a overnight going method and literally one that took five minutes to do so. Yeah definitely give us a try guys if you're into overnight curls. This is a really quick short little video, but I hope you enjoyed it anyway. It may be a better idea of something that you could do with your hair with very minimal effort. There is another video here that I think you might also enjoy. You can go watch next. Thank you for watching and I'll see you very soon in my next video bye,

PlumDutchess: The headband with the hair wrapped around is a cute hairstyle on its own!

Antonia Stoyanova: I've been doing this almost daily for 5 years now and it's my favourite method - easy to do, easy to sleep in, and can get many different variations by changing the section size (lord knows I've been looking like Louis XIV reincarnate, I wish I could show some pics). The only problem is getting a flathead on top but it's managable. A pro-tip: I sewed a "contraption" - a satin ribbon with and elastic + 2 of eye and hook "buttons" you find on bras - in the morning I simply unclasp it and slide the ribbon out!

Love Hate Love: Hey I have super long hair and do this almost daily, the best thing to use to do this is actually a bandanna tied with the knot at the top of your head. Remove it by uniting the knot, giving your hair a little shake then sliding the bandana out in one direction, This way when you go to take it out the next day it won't get stuck in your hair. I also have fine hair so I use a volumeizing hairspray and root lift powder on the curls. Love this method I won't curl my hair any other way❤

Oniony Peach: Wow, the end result was really great. Special considering how fast and easy it seemed to be, even with hair as long as yours. It's really pretty!

Alva Neu: Very pretty! As always, I'm so impressed with your haitstyling skills. And having your hair up in the headband like that is actually a really nice and vintage looking style!

Makeup Boss: My whole teenage life I wanted the wavy hair, and the wet-set tight ringlets that were popular in the 80’s and 90’s . Now I see these , and omg I love it. I still love straightening my hair as well. Amazing job .

Lia Lee: I love headband curls. My hair is wavy itself but is usually messy and frizzy, and this method helps making my hair manageable. It also serves as a fairly nice up do.

Alombardi82: Love the finished look! Looks like the curls will HOLD too! Also as a heatless style it’s a win-win! xo

wolfsf2012: I’ve tried this multiple times in my hair and it’s always hit or miss for me. I dunno Glad it worked out for you though! Hope it keeps going that way for ya!

Adella Polk: This is my favorite overnight curl method by far! Comfortable to sleep in, creates very pretty, bouncy curls, and quick/easy enough to do every day. I love it.

Raz Daoud: Do it after taking a shower this works better with first day hair when it's 50% dry, the curls seperate them with your fingers not a brush

H -: Such pretty curls! I’d love to try this ❤️

Valerie R: Just what I needed! I am looking for a quick heatless curl method for a busy and short on time working girl! This filled my cup! Thank you Loepsie

Jennifer Bucher: I've done this and I love it! I have 3A-3B naturally curly hair and it helps to tame the curls.

D. M.: This is my favorite method except i use two headbands one on top of the other. One for each side of my hair and I use bobbypins as I go to secure. Doing the bobbypins as you go really helps it stay in place!! Also, after I am done i push the whole thing up so the top of my head is poofy by morning and no flat head. edit.. i also NEVER ever brush out my curls. I just fix them with my hands.

Emma Brown: The heatless head band curls also work well with a bandana! It makes it a lot easier to slip your hair out of the formation!

Nadia Silver: I saw this vid two days ago & thought it looked pretty dang easy for my fine, mid-long length, combination hair (tight curls on the top, loose wavy curls on the bottom), as well as perfect for the lazy lady that I am. I used super watered down body lotion on my hands and just spread it out as I wet my hair. In the humid Seattle, WA, USA climate it takes my hair FOREVER to dry when wrapped up, so I waited 2 nights rather than one. In the dry Arizona, USA climate one night would have been enough. :| Meh. I'm multiracial, so you pretty much roll the dice on what hair type you get. In humid climates I get frizz... all... the... frizz. I gotta say the curls are pretty dang fluffy! Curling my hair this way, it wasn't smooth like Loepsie's, but there was definitely defined volume on the ends & even my roots were easy to fluff for volume! I will say, I was worried that my paddle brush would have a hard time working through the ends to the roots, but on a scale of 1-10 (10 being "HALP!") it was about a 2 or a 3. I was also worried about my ends breaking off during the brush-out, or getting split ends & snags, but that was about a 1. It didn't help that I made some of my sections smaller than shown in the video (making tangles more likely). So, I will try again with larger sections for more relaxed, controlled wavy curls. Thanks for the video Loepsie!

Marija Vucetic: I love this method, it is the only way that my curls can last because I have a lot of very thick hair. And you can use it with some pretty headband throughout the day, like a hairstyle for hot days.

Kelley Bee: I started doing these after the 1st time I watched this and it works a treat, super comfortable to do and I have gotten so many compliments! Thanks, Loepsie you are the best!

Woodland Wilds: Easy and gorgeous! Thanks for making this video. I don't have any electric hair styling options so this is a fantastic tip for people like me - and no awful curlers look in the morning.

Berkley Pearl: This looks so good I’m totally going to give this a shot

Pirate lassy: I love overnight curls too! And they stay better in my hair than heat curls.

Heyiya-if: Alternative to setting lotion: beer. Like grandma used because it was the depression/the war & nobody had any money for such luxury. It's actually great for the hair too. Tried it, sure it smells of beer while wet but once dry the smell is completely gone.

Krystal Robin: Oh my goodness!! Genius idea!! Thank you for this awesome video. Will be perfect for my hair and skill level :)

Rachel Boothe: Your hair turned out beautifully!!! I have several things to get my hair to hold curl during the day with no success. I will try this.

Marika Niemi: I love head band curls but I never sleep with the headband. I have also thin hair, so I put some dry shampoo in the roots and mousse in the ends. The curls hold very nicely even if the hair wasn´t wet. I separate the curls with my fingers and that is enough to get beautiful curls. This method is good for long hair and even a shorter bob.

MissSophisticated: This is my favorite way to curl my hair ❤️

TemperanceWitchWay: Hey! I am a new subscriber! :) I think this method could be what I have been searching for! I have a mid length bob and I have thick hair so...yeah! Going to give this a go! :) Much gratitude to you! :)

Isidora Sofronijevic: I love your channel, it is so creative and fun. You are a great host! :)

Ellen: Doing this tonight!! Thank you!!!! Much love

Elaine Bye: That method is amazing! Looks very nice.

Courtney Morris - Historical Cookery Experiments: well now i want to grow my hair out and try this... looks really pretty!

kmburkezoo: Modifications I have found helpful, as someone with fine, wavy/curly, hip-length tangle-prone hair: - always start the undoing from the ends; it decreases tangles and frizz - USE A SCARF OR BANDANNA. If your ends get snarled around a circular headband, in the back where you can't see, it's nearly impossible to get the thing out of your hair. Tying a scarf or bandanna in front means that you can untie it and potentially slide it out, or at least have better access to the trouble spot - if, like mine, your hair is too long to fit using the headband curls method, tie a long scarf at the back of your head. Use the headband curls method normally until you run out of headband, then switch to wrapping your hair around the dangling tails. these you can tie back around your head, tucking them under or close to the original headband. This comes out looking a lot like rag curls, except that you don't look ridiculous leaving the house while your hair is setting.

Kyounyanko: I tried this the night of watching this video with barely damp hair (straight, medium thickness and shoulder length) now at 6pm they are still holding, with the flat root problem, easily solve by wearing a hat/beret

Maureen: I think it looks really good. Looking forward to seeing what mine looks like tomorrow, since my hair is about as fine as yours.

Pía: omg your bangs grew, you look even cuter now! I'll try this tonight, your tutorials always help me so much

Rachel Frumkin: I love this method of curl. It is great for short hair/mid length/ long. I do it on damp like 95% percent dry.

Hannah Boehm: I don’t even have hair long enough for this anymore, but I LOVE watching your videos anyway❤️

MORTICIA 1975: These look easy and relatively comfortable to do...I’ll have to try them.

Marijana Jajtić: Every time when I wash my hair, I use this type of curlling and I am always suprised with results. Also very often I get a very possitive comments for my curls.

Silvershineee: I always tie a reaaallly long sock around my head. It's stretchy and this way you can take it out without tangling your hair and messing it up.

Jennifer Grove: That actually looks awesome as an updo as well! :)

juliag: I also have fine hair, and I use mousse when I do this method. Sometimes I do it in the morning with a cute skinny headband for work. I take it down if I'm going out, or leave it in until the next morning.

Aja xoxo: Your video came right because I just bought a headband the other day. And I'll try to do that too. Hope it works on my hair. ☺

Laura Berti: Hi Lucy, I really like your content could you please talk about frizz and how to handle it? I’m going crazy with it and I’m in search of solutions! Thanks if you consider it, I love your channel

Illoyed Kater: Could you make a video where you compare different overnight curling methods? And show us how the longevity of these types of curls is? Like how they perform throughout the day...

Meadowbird: This turned out great! My hair is too long for this method. Have you tried the method where you sleep in two rope braids? Part your hair down the centre, rope braid each side crown to ends, secure ends and then if you want you can wrap them around your head and secure them. So comfy and gives gorgeous mermaid curls.

Deborah Orwig: Your curls are awesome! I have fine thin hair too. I think I might put some stuffing in a headband to make it thicker.

Treytino: Thats actually amazing how well that works

paj 1492: I love this look on you. Very Lana Del Rey-ish.

Alexandria Watson: Thank you for sharing, I'm hopeless at curling my hair with a curler or straightener!

Surprises Daedra: Frizz isn't necessarily a bad thing. A lot of times it can look really cute

Howlie 90: Dutch rope braids. It's the best overnight, heatless styling method IMO

C: I think it looks fantastic!

Kelley Bee: Nice! I'm going to attempt this. I have a longish bob so I am hoping my hair is long enough to try it!

Delphine, the worst Blade ever: You.... Are.... Just..... So freaking gorgeous. I usually don't comment about this stuff. Thanks for heatless curls btw.

ChrisSunHwa: That actually looks really, really cute wrapped around the headband. You could go out like that and it wouldn't be weird, unlike with curlers. lol

Autumn: I remember trying this method a few years back and my hair got really tangled. I ended up having to cut the headband to take it out. Lol I'm too afraid to try it again.

J N Pretty On Top: This came out great!

Joanna Smith: I tried it ! Thanks . Can not wait to see results at 5 am lol

Strawberry 1: I'm going to give this a go. I have very fine long hair so will find a thicker bandeau like you did.

Cassie: Looks great on you! I can’t do them though, my curls look bad when they’re facing outwards, away from my face

RedhairedBallerina: I wish I could do these successfully :D The one time it actually stayed on my head overnight I found out I really don't suit the 'curls starting at the cheekbone' look...

Gunn Andersen: Pretty curls. A sunshine maybe outdoors ♥

Angelina Zavyalova: Can you do an updated of your favourite 3 over night curls?

Siobhán K.: DEFINITELY A BIT LESS LOTION AND MAYBE SOMETHING OTHER THAN A SETTING LOTION. PERHAPS TRY A CURL CREAM OR A TEXTURIZER LIKE Deva Curl B Leave -In it is a curl plumper] and texturizer. Curls really suit you though!!! x

Bexxlibris: For those with longer hair (mine is hip length) use a ribbon. All you have to do to take it down is undo the bow and pull it out. Shake your hair loose and you have beautiful curls! It also prevents a lot of the tangles you can get from a hairband like the one Loepsie uses. When I used one like that I ended up having to cut it out!

Iris L: This looks so easy! I'm afraid my hair will tangle wrapped around the band after all my tossing and turning.

63 Rambler: I think the headband do itself is very cute before getting taken out. I would probably wear it like that they entire day before.

Malorie P.C.: I’m going to try this one!

Ashley Miranda: Your hair is so beautiful

Amy Penner: so, whats your favorite over night heatless curls method?

Fay Coleman: Put your hair in a bun and position a large scarf or rag at the nape of your neck to your forhead. Tie it off in the front and let your hair down and wrap it with the remaining tails from the long scarf. Then when both sides are wraped tie them off in the back of your head to secure. Your curls will be going in the same direcetion as they would with headband curls but you wont get the headband dent. The reason you wont get a pronounced dent is because the point of tention for the scarf will be at the nape of your neck not on top of your head flattening your roots or giving you a dent in the back of your head.

SolBug: Wow! Thank you for sharing!

Priscila Gonzalez: i need to try

Aqsa khan: I'm just subscribing for your beautiful face! ❤

haileynakayxx: i want to try this but my hair is short and has layers so it will be hard! i'm dying haha

Nory: Maybe it got frizzy because of combing the hair?

emma le: love the result

JoDammerung II: Somehow I missed that lottabody had a setting lotion. I only knew about the mousse. Shows how much attention I was paying.

Courtney: I’ve never heard of setting lotion. Is it like gel? I need to try this.

songbanana8: How does the headband not fall off your head? Whenever I do this hairstyle during the day I have to pin the headband in the opposite direction so it doesn’t slip off the back of my head. Maybe mine is too small or too narrow? I’ll try a bandana/scarf, maybe I’ll get your results!

Riktika Singh: I love your style ...lucy

Anaïs: Trying this tonight!

Jen Vo: I was only able to get this method to work the first time i tried it. After that i looked like a frizzy mess each time i re attempted this method and im not sure why.

Just 4 crafts n giggles: It looks great

Rachel Stirling: Are you growing out your bangs? Your hair looks beautiful either way, but I love your bangs!

Rebecca: My fave so far!

Bleach is Good for ur health: Thanks. I'll try it

Zelda: I have shorter hair but i will tey this too!! Also what kind of comb is that, and where can i get one?? I really want to get a natural material comb after my plastic one breaks.

Dragana Djilas: So I just did this and I look like Hermione on a bad hair day! I have a fine hair and for the first time I hate the volume! I love how yours turned out, might give it another try...

Yvonne Kelsall: I going to try this when my hair is dry

Lydia J: My hair is short, pretty much only half of it is long enough to curl, but I still want to encourage the curl. Will this method work, or should I adapt it? Also I am not sure if the band will stay on all night

Gabriel Hanssens: I just got to my first student apartment for the first time and I didn't take my rollers 'cause I thought I didn't need them, turns out it' s monday, my hair is dirty so I m gonna wash it today and I have no class this afternoon and I really want curls for no reason. What better way to try something new

Danielle M Hall: Big up to you, fellow Lottabody user!

P K: My hair tangles extremely easily and they were very long when I tried it... i had to cut my hair out of the hair band because it was stuck... I used to love this method but please please please don't do it with long ass hair... gets tangled way too much

Baima van Ruijven: Je kan ook eerste 1 plukje er helemaal omheen winden en dan een nieuw plukje pakken. Werkt opzich ook wel

KNF9: Where did you get this headband?

arun tyagi: Can l ask you a question about your video?.. Actually can we just wash our hair and just wrap hair with headband... Wet hair and just use hair dryer to dry hair and tada.. Curls like yours ready

Yvonne Kelsall: I think these hairstyle would be look for summer to get your hair off your neck
