Gille87: If you did balayage, roots wouldn’t be a problem since the whole point is to have dark roots then fade into lighter ends and high/low lights. You can go for longer without having to worry. You can either lighten your roots 1-2 levels, to let it match the color better, or have your own. As a hairdresser I feel sorry for your hair. So dry, peruse, and damaged
