Hey everyone: it's mexkenadences welcome to my Channel or welcome back to my channel if you're new here I post new doll, related videos every single day and today's video is going to be an unboxing and review of the new LOL. Surprise, OMG fashion show lady braids doll and before we get started, I wanted to give a huge thank you to MGA for sending me this doll for reviews, so I did receive the stall for free and I'm reviewing her to share her with you guys. Um. I'Ve been really curious about these ever since I first saw them at um holiday of Play because I'm just really curious how the hair styling is going to work. So this is a hair, styling doll. She comes with magic mousse that is supposedly gon na make her hair able to hold different styles, so braids are easy, but crimps, curls and waves on this hair. That'S relatively straight right! Now I'm very curious if it works, and if it does, I will be so excited to play with it some more and this packaging design is really gorgeous. I like this like band here that shows the different styles and you can see how you execute them here. It looks like there's um. This is probably for the Moose and then on the back. It shows you that the magic moose is able to style the hair without heat. I love that they say like without heat, because that shows that they I mean that's how you normally would style doll hair is with like boiling water or a straightening iron. So it's very interesting and it says OMG, all the queens of winter style are here to show their Fierce looks at Fashion Week, but only the designer who brings out rage's creativity will become a true Runway legend by the way, if you have not seen the winter Fashion show movie, yet it's really good. I watched it a couple nights ago and I was very impressed with how cute and well written it was um. The story was really fun and cute. Oh and there's the sister, oh my gosh. How cute is that hey sis? I always love that they do that um anyway, let's oh and the ending of that movie genuinely like made me tear up. It was genuinely adorable anyway. Let'S get this out of the box. Lady braids is now out of the packaging adorable. First, we're gon na go over all of her accessories that she has and the big one that she doesn't have. So, let's get started. She comes with these, which remind me of like horse hair braiding that you use for like stiff Trims on in sewing. So these are pretty cool. These are for curling, so you get four of these and all of these types of oh five of these. Actually they have these like little rubbery bits at the end. So I'm wondering, if that's related to how you actually style the hair. I don't know, and then she has her own little magazine, which is very cute, so it's fashion baby magazine, which plays a part in the movie. So I love that it says lady braids, our hair is our Crown braids twister curls. I use my creativity to make every BB feel like a queen, oh my gosh, and then it shows different hairstyles very cute. I love that it's related to what went on in the movie and then I love this piece. This is actually quite useful, especially on nylon hair. As long as it's not super Tangled, you can use plastic on them. Fine, I would much prefer in a hair styling set like this, especially one - that's priced at a premium that it would just come with a metal brush, but I mean that's probably prohibitively too expensive for toy companies to actually include them. But you know it would have been nice, but this is actually really really nice. I love these bristles. This is pretty cool accessory and it took a lot of effort to make it too, because this is unusual to have to like root in these plastic pieces. So this gets a 10 out of 10. For me, it it functions quite nicely too pretty cool, and then we do have some surprise bags. I have no idea what's in these um and then we have this. I think this is to help you braid, I'm not sure how that works, but I'm very curious about it. It'S just this like braid. Stick, I don't know, and then I think these are for crimping. I really hope these work, because I really want to see how to do it and then you get five of these and then we have this really cool little styling chair that has a stand clip in it. So you can take the chair out at any point. Just by twisting it and it will pop right out or pop it right back in it has a big um suction cup on it so that it will stay in place. This is a fantastic accessory, but you know what this set doesn't come with, that it really needs. It doesn't come with a stand. So I have her on one of my stands that I use for dolls that don't come with stands, but it's kind of strange for this to be one of the only OMGs that doesn't come with a stand, especially considering these are priced at a premium. I really feel like a stand is kind of necessary because when I'm done like this is very useful - and I could display around this. But when I'm done, I want to display her and all of her glory standing up so that her hair can be visible. And you kind of need to stand to do that and then she also comes with the magic mousse which supposedly makes it where I can style her hair without heat, and I hope so because that would be awesome now. I wonder if they sell more of that separately, if you run out, because if it works, you might want to get more anyway. Now we have some surprise bags, I think they're outfit pieces or something I don't know. Oh okay, what is this? Oh, my God, I'm gon na use this so much okay. So this is one of those clips that is used to kind of separate hair. So you can get the hair that you're not working with out of the way without causing too much of a problem with it, and I love the design of this too. This is awesome. This is actually a fantastic accessory and then freak out. Oh hello. Okay, let's move the camera down a little bit more whoa, you get hair type. So, first of all, you get these rubber bands, which are likely the same ones used in the factory to style the doll's hair, which is great because these don't break as easily um. Any rubber band ever that you buy online is going to dry, rot in the doll's hair. It'S really weird um, but the factory ones tend to last a lot longer, especially mgas. So this is very exciting to me and you get one two three, four five of them. Oh six of them. This is great, and then you get some hair ties and these are shown on lady braids in the artwork of hers. So I can show you well, this is the this is a doll photo, but in the artwork I showed them too. That is very cool. Look at these. I love these they're like little diamonds and you get three of them, which makes sense because there's three showing here - and this is what her tissue paper looks like very cute all right and then we have another surprise bag see what's inside, oh okay, so these are Accessories for the dolls, so you still get some of that unboxing experience. So this is a ring that goes over multiple fingers and what do we have there? We go Little Broken Heart Motif. I saw that on the hair clip as well, and then we have some earrings they're, quite nice and a belt. Oh sorry and sunglasses. These are actually really nice. So this is a hair styling set, but there are four different dolls to choose from. So why would you choose lady braids well, first of all she's amazing, but let me show you why I think so. So this is what she looks like with those sunglasses on. I am going to be removing them, but doesn't she look cute all right? I am removing them so that I can show you how precious her little face is, so she has little freckles printed on. She has very shiny, big eyes um. I don't prefer that their eyes are super shiny like this, but they are super adorable very, like deer-like. I don't know super super cute. I love the lips they're, the glitter lip, but they're applied pretty well and then she does have glittery makeup. I really like how simple her makeup is, it's very pretty very pretty, and then she does have painted on edges here in silver, which matches decently well to the white metallic nylon hair that she has, and then these are the earrings that she came with. You can see them in her ears now. I really like the style of these really cool, just like a really fun like textured bead, and then she also had this necklace, which she was already wearing in the packaging super like it and then her hair color is so cool. So she has a metallic. So metallic nylon is just a different grade of nylon and it has this like much more shiny, uh, more artificial, look to it, which I personally shiny nylon is hard to work with if you're going to be doing heat on the hair, but otherwise it's generally fine. I just have problems with it when I'm trying to like curl my doll's, hair and stuff or straighten my doll's hair. So I'm very curious if these Hair Care tools will be effective, because if so, I'm gon na have a lot of fun using this. On my rainbow High dolls, um and other dolls that I have that have this type of hair, I adore the purple and the green. This green color is so pretty it's like a mint color, but it skews a little blue and it looks so good with the purple like I don't ever see, green and purple mixed and then her hair is really interestingly parted, as you can see, and that is A packed packed root to achieve this type of parting and you'd hope so um. You can see some between rows. You can see some of the scalp, but I don't know looks pretty good to me. I love this part line. It'S so cool and she does not seem to have hmm yeah. She doesn't have a middle part line like you would probably expect. Instead you're meant to do like this high ponytail thing. So if you take that down, you can do a pretty intense side, part at either side, which is an option. So she basically just has an extreme side part, and I really like this hairstyle personally, I'm going to leave it like this and style within the ponytails. I think they're super cute and then her outfit is beyond adorable and I love it. It'S this like acid, wash denim situation, look at this and it has glitter and metallic thread and all kinds of stuff going on. It'S so cool. I love the top part with these straps that are um. I mean these are like normal straps, but then we have this one cutting through the middle. It looks super good and there's these buckles on them as well. These don't actually function, but you can like move them around as if they did so that's kind of fun. Um. If you wanted like a specific look, I guess very cute, and then I love the beads here as the extra straps. I just love how many like extra little details that MJ will put into the dolls like those they're, it's just so interesting and then, if we look on the back, we can see that all of the detailing continued onto the back. So the Stitch detailing on the skirt which we'll look at later there's this really cool. So the bustier has son on details for like the bra cups and just little Stitch details like that, and it is, is it hemmed at the bottom? No, so it's not hemmed because it's meant to look like a frayed, jean look, but if you look, there's actually a thread up top or at the bottom to keep it from frying too much further than they want it to which is very nice. And then this is like a really interesting metallic thing. I don't even know what to call this that they've applied on top of the fabric, and I really like the effect of it. It'S super cool and then she has these gloves. Um. Is this like velcro? What I guess, that's intentional, I'm not really sure about this. I don't know what it's meant to be. If you guys know what this is referencing, and this is how it is, let me know, but there's it's basically sewn without turning it inside out. They just kind of left the raw Edge out, but it's it's fine. I don't mind it and then I love the little thumb hole so so cute, and this is a really nice little like. I don't even know what to call this material. It'S really it's soft though, and then there's that little ring and she does have pink painted fingernails. If you use this ring, I recommend um paying a lot of attention because they don't stay on super. Well, these like finger rings, or you could bring over like one of the rubber bands from packaging and tie it in place. Then here's the other side. I love the acid wash on these jeans and, like the distressing on it, it looks so so cool like the the yellow detailing that you can see within that makes it look slightly messy. It'S like really really pretty and now we're gon na move down a little bit, so we can do it on this doll is probably my favorite part look at this. I love the fit of it, so it is high-waisted. You can see that belt that I showed you earlier um. It kind of covers that this is actually a two piece pretty nicely. So if you want it to look like a two-piece, take the belt off, if you don't want it to look like a two-piece put the belt on, you get some options. I love love. Love love, love the Stitch detailing on this. It'S so so nice. It doesn't have any um sewn In Pockets, though I don't expect it to, but I was kind of surprised giving it mga's track record, but I think that it would have added a lot of extra bulk to this outfit that wasn't needed um, and I love the Glitter on this fabric, it's just so nice and then there's a line of buttons. These are I I still can't decide if they're like ironed on to free the glue, that's in them or if they're, just glued on, but uh be careful with these. If you do get this doll, because these can pop off it just depends - and then I love this, so these are the feathers that I think were introduced with rainbow high they're, not real feathers, they're, fake feathers. They look very real, though check out how they did this. It'S a row of thread with fluff that comes out of each spot. It'S so cool! These are just I love them. It'S like my favorite doll accessory ever now, because you can never achieve feathers on dolls. Really um, it was prohibitively expensive if you weren't and then using real feathers is like an ethical concern. So I don't know it's very cool and I, like the shape of this skirt, a lot it's so pretty on her. It really fits her form. She has painted toenails - that is very unusual and very cute. Oh my gosh. These shoes are glorious, glorious, glorious, look at that powder, so this is like that powder that you buff into your nails to get them to look like this. I don't know how they achieve this on the doll. How beautiful is that it's like holographic shifting and then, if I turn off my light at least one of them probably be able to see it just a little bit better from you see that just this like rainbow shift to it. It'S so pretty. I love these shoes, love them they're, overall, pretty simple, but adding those like that rainbow glitter really really elevated them gorgeous. So now me and Lady braids are going to be taking a look at our instruction booklet, which is Hefty. It is Hefty, so it tells us how to assemble the chair. I kind of went over that and it says before beginning cover your play area, probably because it could stain things my table can do it good, I'm fine um, so it says: pull the hook tool through okay, so we're gon na do wavy, hair first okay. So this is not a braiding tool, or maybe it still is this is. Let me show you you're supposed to stick this through here. I guess so that you can feed hair in which makes a lot of sense. This is kind of how you reroute, as you grab her and stick it through um, I'm gon na take how much hair does it want prep, a small lock of hair with at least two pumps of mousse. Let'S use the mousse, I'm excited, I'm excited all right. Let'S please tell me this works satisfyingly. Oh my gosh, I wasn't on camera. Well that was very satisfying. You can hear the noise and then this is our moose wow magic moose. You go girl, okay, so it says two pumps of it all right. That was probably a lot and then you use the brush. It says brush and comb until the hair is smooth so like this is the brush side, so we're gon na comb. First, I wonder how this mousse stuff works. I'Ve! Never! I used very few products on my hair, just because I don't know what I'm doing. I was never instructed how to do anything with hair. So this is like really cool. I'M excited to see how it works, so we are prepping the hair with mousse, and I love that this differs from the Amaya Hair Care set because in the my hair care set and if you don't know what I'm talking about it's a rainbow high set. That came out in 2020, so almost three years ago now, that's really weird to think about, but um it stained the doll's hair, and this doesn't. It is clear all right so now the hair is prepped um, I'm noticing already that the hair is different. Feeling it's been weighed down by the mousse, so um. It'S very interesting. I wonder if that's how you do the straight hair, okay and then it says twist the lock of hair at the root of the head, or in this case at the ponytail, I'm gon na twist it okay and then we're gon na grab it okay, it says: Hold on to the wave okay yeah, you grab it here and then it looks like you hold on to this. To keep this in place and you pull hmm. Oh it's long enough. Okay, you pull! Oh, no! I messed up. I'M sorry! Okay, hold on! Let'S try it again. Sorry, I want to show you all of this in real time. So it's helpful if you're trying to do it all right, ready we're gon na. Do it right this time? Okay, make sure you have it all hold it like this and then pull through the wave curler woohoo, okay, oh okay! There we go so, how long do you leave it in it says, hold on to the wave curler and pull along pull the hair tool out of the curler pulling along the hair. Let the hair sit for a minimum of 20 minutes or until dry then slide the hair curler off to reveal wavy hair okay, so we are going to wait, it says: do not use a hair, dryer or any kind of heat um. Okay, now we're gon na. Do crimped hair, I guess we're just gon na try it all um interesting um. I actually kind of okay, we're gon na. Do crimped, hair next and we're gon na. Do it in the front of this side, so we're going to take a section of hair. Okay! Wait: let's see what it says: prep a lock of hair with at least two pumps of mousse, oh and then you just put the crimps okay. I wish the crimp Barrette. I don't know if this would have been achievable was something longer like this, because you're gon na have to put a whole row of those crimp threads in and then you have to wait. 20 minutes just to get um your one section crimped and if you want to do a whole head Crypt, that's going to be a wild but very curious. How this is gon na be I've never ever ever managed to crimp doll hair before or hair in general, because I just don't have a crimping iron but like it's kind of a strange thing to own unless you're doing doll hair a lot or if you use It on yourself obviously and it's heat, so it can damage doll hair. So it's really nice that if kids want to try crimping their doll's hair, they have this opportunity so um. If this works, it's going to be super cool, so I'm very excited okay, so it says you just put these on there. So here we go. Let'S just stick it on there. Hopefully, the sections of hair that I grabbed are a good bulk, good size of sections. I guess um sorry, I noticed that that had spread out kind of strangely under there. I just want to make sure I get some pretty good hairstyles going. You know all right, I'm having trouble with this hold on just sorry. The crimp things are a bit more tricky to do, especially away from my body on camera. Like that, so I went ahead and did them. I took a smaller section of hair than my initial grab, so this is the rest of the hair that I had grabbed. Originally - and I would grab about this much so it's just enough for it to like, spread out decently well under there, it looks super cool in there. Honestly, I'm really excited to see if it works and then, after this we're gon na test it out on a rainbow High doll too, because I'm just very curious um and let me put her hair up like let's have fun with this. I'M gon na put the cute little tie around her top hairs and then I'm going to do more of these little curlers because I'm just very curious about them. So to prep you stick your hair stick through the curler, so it looks like this. You grab your hair, so her hair is lightly wavy already so just note that hopefully it'll be curlier when we're done with it and then it said two pumps of hair moves, but honestly I'm finding that that's kind of a lot and it makes the hair a Lot um wetter, and that probably makes it take way longer to dry. So, let's comb this through and then brush it through make sure it hits every little strand in here honestly, her hair is so so soft and satisfying to style um. If I was trying to do heat styles on her, I would not be super happy with it being metallic nylon, but since this is a hair set like this, I don't mind too much. Okay. So let's pull the hair through. This is so easy and nice, I'm very excited about this. As a kid um - and you know these are slated at a child audience, so I think it's important to consider as a kid. I had one doll, hair thing that I ever actually used kind of two, but they both function. The same there was this like braiding tool that I guess came out in either the 90s or the early 2000s that we got at a garage sale. When I was a kid and it was magic and I loved it, um and I genuinely used it all the time on my little ponies, because that's what my my favorite thing was when I was a kid, I love my little ponies and then My Little Pony Came out with one that was like a whole playset and it worked super well and since it was so just it was just so easy to use that I had so much fun with it. So I feel like this set. If it truly functions like it says it does, is going to be such a satisfying introduction for kids into how to style doll hair, which is something that at least for me when I was a kid, because I didn't um really have that you know. I didn't really get taught how to do hair and stuff um. I did a little bit, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't something I was super interested in doing, but now I struggle a lot with styling hair because I just don't know what I'm doing so. Oh, I forgot to do the twist earlier. I'M assuming the twist part is just to make it easier for this to come in, but we will see - and I forgot to stick this through also so oops - let's put it on there - okay, um, but anyway, I'm just saying like a set like this. If it actually functions is really really valuable to helping with a big part of playing with your dolls, which is doing my hair, if that's something that you want to be able to do, and I had a lot of trouble with it. So I really hope that this works, because that's really exciting all right so now we're gon na leave her to sit and I'm going to put these on a rainbow High doll just to see if they work. So I will be right. Y'All I'm going to be putting the curlers in mini Choice hair because she also has shiny nylon. So I want to use a little bit of hair from each of her ponytails. We'Re gon na put the styling mousse in I'm excited to see how it works and then we're gon na comb it through. It doesn't say this in the instructions, but I would recommend that um after you use the comb and you're done playing with the mousse for the day or for the next couple of hours at least wash out the brush, so it doesn't get like crusty. I don't know if the mousse goes crusty. Obviously I haven't had this long enough to find out, but you know just you don't want to have a lot of crust in your doll play accessories so anyway, um grab it from the top pull this through. I love that it's so genius, it's so genius, it's so simple, but it's also so genius, okay! So there's that looking good Minnie, I hope I can get your hair curly with this. This would be so much fun and then we're gon na take this and put it on her hair and I'm taking smaller sections just to see if that makes any kind of difference to how Lady braids is turning out. Because, again, these are the same type of hair. They are different. Colors, though I didn't want to use Amaya's hair just because she also has tinsel um, which would kind of distract from what I'm doing so anyway, because Amaya also has the white shiny nylon. I don't know if it's the exact grade that she has, but I suspect it is all right. You stick it through like this. Do that first, you can do it after. I guess, but doing it first is easier and then stick that through and pull there. We go it's so satisfying and fun to do. I really like this set, I mean if it works, if it doesn't work, that's gon na be real awkward, um and then again this I I just left the doll's hair in the hair, things that it's already in so it worked out but say I wanted to Work on half of her hair, you just pull all this and it's out of the way, and it's just very easy. Um I've been wanting to buy like professional hair care stuff that they would be outrageously huge because I have a couple of them and I do use them occasionally um this once I have all four of these dolls, it's actually going to be very, very useful and Then I'm gon na put this crimp thing in Minnie's hair as well just for fun, so I'll show you kind of how I do it, I'm just gon na do it in the back, because I don't really want her hair crimped, but I do want to demonstrate It to you guys so put the mousse on comb it through. I'M only really doing the bottom, but I'll mousse the whole hair up the whole hair row just brush it through, and then I took a smaller section just because the crimping iron is so tight, not iron. Oh, my gosh, the crimper thing is so tight that, like, if you put too much hair it'll pop open - and you don't want that so and then I'm gon na, do it right here and you can see that it flattens the hair there and also this is Pretty pliable Pull It in really good, because when you take it off, you pull it out and it makes it where it would more likely to snap open so and the reason I have one extra by the way is because there's enough for from her root to The base you can have the hair in the crippling iron, as you can see, there's a bit extra, but you know you can't really cover it all. It'S kind of popping out again, though, but anyway, that extra one would account for the space at the root. Oh hello, it's already working! Oh I'm just trying to fix it. Look! Oh that's! So exciting! Sorry! I just wanted to fix it. So all the hair actually gets crimped. It'S so exciting! Oh my goodness! Oh that was a spoiler. Well, we'll see if it actually works on all the hair and if it stays in place really nicely. Oh, I am excited okay and then there are two more things that you can do. Um they're more conceptual, though, is they're not mentioned in the instructions. Well, the straightening is, it says, wash it out, which I love, that it tells you just it says: don't submerge the doll all the way in water. Don'T use soap, just rinse her out. So that's nice um and it doesn't tell you how to do braiding. But you know um, although like as a kid, I wasn't really, I didn't know how to braid. That'S why I had a braiding machine to do it for me, so I don't know would be nice to have just a little tutorial on how to do it. But it's totally fine anyway, there are now waiting for their hair to set, so it is currently 9 10. So at about nine, at about 10, I'm gon na give it a good amount of time to dry at about 10 we're gon na check on them again. So I will, let's see if it did its job, so I did have some hair outside of it and it's dry now, so the rest should be pretty dry. I hope anyway, um. The only way to find out, I mean wait. I can like feel it a little feels pretty dry um. Let'S just start with this one in the back, let's see um, I don't really know how to get this off without like stretching the hair out. Is the problem like I can't really hmm? Are there instructions for how to get it off, because I I just don't want to pull the hair and make it go straight again. You know then slide the hair curler off. Okay, I mean that's what it tells me to do. Just do it very gently. I guess, but there's like sorry, I just oh no, I mean technically I did something hold on. I did like Straighten It Out by like removing the curler okay, you know what I'm good. With that I mean. What more could it have done? You know it's like this: it couldn't have gone like full ringlet. Okay, I mean that's cute. It feels like I did something. So that's fine um, let's see what it did to Minnie's hair. Oh okay! It worked better on Minnie's hair, weird, maybe it's because I just okay, I recommend you all rip it off really fast. If you do this, okay, well, that's actually cute! Wait. I really like this. My mini has some weirdly long hair on like certain spots like these. Should not be here, look how good that looks. Lady braids! What happened? Sorry, curly, okay, huh, so why is Minnie's hair doing much better than I mean it's about the same? I think I'm being dramatic. Oh my gosh! This is actually cute and it oh, that one's really good, okay, you just kind of have to help it get back after you rip the thing off, because these are very tight because they have to be to actually set the curl in the first place. Um - and you can tell it curled really well actually, because the texture of the curler is visible in the hair, so all right now. This is very important to me, the crimps, so I'm gon na take them all off at once, so that we can be surprised by the turnout ready. Oh, oh, my god. Oh I really was not expecting that yo. It looks so good. You know what it looks. Better than the rainbow High dolls that come with Crim tear, I will say it. Ah, that is beautiful. Oh my God, I can crimp their hair. Now I've always wanted to be able to do that. Are you kidding? Okay, wait. Did it work on you on your one little spot? I did. Oh, it worked whoa, I'm in shock, actually like truly in shock that that worked, okay, well um. I was worried that this would be a semi-negative review, because I was just really nervous that that wouldn't work doll's beautiful so regardless I knew I was gon na - be happy about that. But I was very nervous about the hair things working um, but they did so um. For starters, I'm gon na say based on what's going on with mini over here, I recommend grabbing less hair than I grabbed. So the sections like this one that I grabbed a lot of hair didn't curl well, but the sections that I grabbed less hair, curled really well. It does not tell you that in the instructions I wish that it did, because if it told you like, oh, if you grab less hair and it goes more flat, it will curl a lot nicer um, because no matter what all of these are dry and once They'Re dry you're good to go also, let's see how easy it is to straighten them. Since it says you could just brush them right out and they should go straight. Okay, yeah and I would do it to the crib, but I really don't want to destroy it. You know I know I will I will. This is a review, let's see, okay, so it does say you need to like wash it out to fully get it out, but I'm just curious if the moves can like re-straighten the hair, so the crimps are very strong. I feel like the crimps were much more effective than the curls. I wish that the curlers made it says to just pull straight: okay yeah that removed the cribs. It'S just keeping a bit of curl okay, so it is indeed magical, hair mousse. I assume what's going on like the way it works. Is that it's like when it dries it's solidifying in that position, but it still feels soft like I can still play with the hair and move it around and style it just fine like it doesn't feel like really harsh hair gel, which I'm very happy about, because If it was just like a really intense hair gel, that would not be fun to play with at all. So I really appreciate this set I to preface this, though the only other doll, hair playset that I've truly ever had to the point where I've actually been able to do anything with. It has been the rainbow high Amaya set, which was a very hit and miss on one hand. Yes, you can color the doll's hair. On the other hand, you can't replay with it ever again like it will not re-curl so um or sorry not recall. It will not come out where you can put new hair colors in it's like permanently stained, which is not ideal um, so this set. I don't. I recommend this it's fun. It does provide like a completely different type of curl than anything else. I'Ve ever used um. I just learned that these are actually a thing like you can curl your hair with this sort of thing, so they do exist and I love the little tool that it comes with and I'll show you the full effect it just makes it so easy just pull It right through and then it's curled um, if I had to recommend okay, so first of all my negatives one, it doesn't come with a stand. I just think that's kind of silly. I had a very pleasant time styling her on the stand. I really appreciate that it comes with The Styling chair, that's really really fun, but if it could have come with a stand too, that would be great because I don't want to display her on a chair. I want to display her with all my other dolls like normal, because she's a beautiful, beautiful doll um. I love the extra accessories that it comes with. I kind of wish that it came with extra kind of hair ties and stuff, especially this kind. These are super fun and hair clips would have been amazing, but perhaps the other sets come with hair clips we'll see, I will definitely be trying to get the rest of these hair sets, because I had so much fun with this one, and I want to have More of these, and especially the crimp things um, oh another, big criticism - I have is that there's not enough of these um there's enough of these to make some good progress, which is nice, but these you can only do one row of hair at a time that Would take forever if you wanted to do your whole doll's head um once you buy all four dolls you'll, probably if they all even have this crimp thing, I don't know if they all have different types of um hair play or not. I hope they do. At least a little bit that'll be kind of fun, but I imagine they don't um. I wish that they came with more of these, or maybe that there was some kind of set where you could get more. Do these link together in some way look. I was like what is that I don't know I saw something about. Oh you can link them together. Is that intentional barrettes come with two prongs on the side and two openings on the other. You can correct. Oh yeah, you can connect them for a continuous wave. Oh cool, I probably did it the wrong way, though: that's really cool okay, so that's a fun consideration that they made. I appreciate that um so yeah. I really like this. Oh that's how you do it you post it yeah! Okay, there we go see! Oh, but I really appreciate that you don't have to like you - can just take one if you want to so they made them where you can disconnect them. That'S actually really nice of them um. So yeah. I don't think this set is perfect by any means, but as a hair playset, especially targeted at children, this is super fun. Although, as a kid, I would be very frustrated by the curls, I feel like curling. Hair is just a very difficult thing to do. In general, luckily, lady braids at least already came with some pretty nice wavy hair um, but, as you can see like, I didn't really get it much wavier than it was. It is different, though, like I can tell it's different um, it's the exact shape of the little curling thing um, it would have been. I bet you could just make this have tighter curls in it, because this is the most tight. The curls could be right. This exact way, but curls never set in the exact way that you curl them unless you use like intense heat. So we already know it's not gon na. Look like this, so the best it could look is about like this, because it's just a bit looser than this, and especially because when you pull it off, it has to go straight um. But that's just kind of the medium that they're using here, because they don't want to use heat because that's inaccessible and dangerous to kids. So I understand completely um, but yeah. This set is totally worth it to me. Just for the I mean, the doll is absolutely precious beautiful quality at all, as always with an amazing outfit. I love love, love, love, love, love, the hair. It'S very very soft. It is metallic nylon, but I didn't have any trouble styling metallic nylon here. So that's pretty appreciated and I love that this is not permanent. You can wash this stuff out. It should come right out and maybe you could use warm water to get the curls out if you really needed to um, but because these aren't heat set, I'm very impressed that they're actually sticking in pretty nicely, and I love that the mousse is not drying in Some disgusting crust, like I expected it to like earlier, I specifically said to be careful of crust on your comb and again, thank you so so much to MGA for sending me lady braids, for review. This is a doll that I purchased myself. I just used her as an example of other applications of the hair play tools um. I also want to get into a pricing discussion, so this doll retails for about 35 to 40 dollars, which honestly considering all the stuff that this comes with - I'm not mad at it, especially because the um OMG prices They Don't Really retail for 25 anymore. They retail a little higher, so I'm very impressed that you get all of these different accessories and the fact that it actually works, but it's not some crazy Contraption. It'S just a bunch of hair tools that you can now keep in Your Arsenal forever. You can use them on yourself, I imagine it won't work as well, because you don't have plastic hair, but I'm sure it could do something and you can also use it on your other dolls. So that's really really fun um, but right now this doll is actually on sale on Amazon. At the time of me filming this video for 25, I will link in the description. It will not be an affiliate link, so I do not receive any incentive for you to purchase so just letting you know, I'm just letting you know that she happens to be on sale right now, which is great because um holiday, season's coming up Black Friday is Coming up so there's gon na be a lot of awesome sales, I'm hope, hoping I can snatch the rest of the fashion show line for good prices, because that's really really cool um. That'S for 25 unreal. Like such a good deal, I'm impressed, I am blown away. I just I can't get over this as a kid. Every single one of my My Little Ponies would have crimped, hair and you're gon na see me using these in restyle's uh. I believe I think anyway, unless I just go ahead and buy a crimping iron honestly, but I love that you don't have to use heat with this because, especially on metallic nylon, hair you're not going to want to be using heat on metallic nylon. Like trust me when I say that these are so cool yeah, I love this anyway. Thank you guys so so much for watching and I'd love to know what you guys think do you think you'd get a lot of utility out of this set um. I really like the hair moves. I really hope that this is something that you can obtain outside of this set um after you buy four of them, though I bet this is enough to last you a ridiculously long time, because you truly don't have to use that much. I use two pumps and I think that was too much because it kept the hair wet for a little longer than it should have. I kept them in the curlers and stuff for about 40 minutes um, because I I did test it out after 20 minutes and it was not. It did not work so um, but that's just because I put too much mousse clearly because they were still wet if they dry in time. It'S good, like the crimp Works, um pretty quickly because it's able to dry, but these kind of hold a lot of the moisture in, but they do have holes in them so that the moisture can escape so um yeah. Just I would use one pump and just you just have to get the hair wet enough, that the mousse has coated it, so you don't really have to use too much anyway. That'S it for this video for real this time, thanks so much for watching bye.

𝑑𝑜𝑙𝑙 ⋆˚⸝⸝‬: YOU NEED TO USE THE CRIMPERS ON DAPHNE it’s so satisfying to look at ahh

an-enby-panda: Those wave tubes are called waveformers or curlformers if you want to buy them, and since I was curious I tried looking up hair crimping clips and saw a few like the ones Lady Braids has. She's such a pretty dolllll

toxicsugar art: Oh man this came at just the right time, I’ve been obsessed with fake-crimping parts of my hair by putting in tiny braids and unbraiding them a few days later. Time to subject all my dollies to the same fate (but like with real crimping tools lol)

everlastingsweetheart: this doll is rlly cool! as a kid i love playing with hair so hopefully kids can enjoy this, im not so fond of the colour scheme considering her little sister is more pink but then again the counterpart that the little sister came with is blue so they could of swapped colour schemes for the omgs, the crimps are really good the curls not so much but kids would totally enjoy this

Aurvoira: i generally use mousse for when i set my box braids or when i slick back my hair with gel i use mousse to make it set faster. I have. Wave formers too and generally use a crochet hook for them. The mousse works super well when trying to hold curls and styles! I recommend using the cold air button on a hair drier so the hair sets faster

nobyboy: a little tip for the hair bobbles/knockers with the gems! instead of pulling a section of hair through the center like a normal hair tie they're meant to be wrapped around the hair section and locked to together with the gems (wrap around the hair section until it's tight the push one bobble through the opening of the other one). i think it's actually a lot easier than using a traditional hair tie and makes the bobbles sit nicely together!

Kelley Popelar: There are the wave curling tubes available on Amazon I’d suggest getting a set or two if you really want to style the doll because then you could do a whole head at once.I’d also look there for more crimping clips and you could probably get more similar moose from someplace like Sally’s or in the regular stores just Sally’s workers would be able to tell you what type of moose that actually was. It does seem like a good starter set though.

Myra02: Just an FYI, but it's Minnie Chwe (pronunciation) as Choi is pronounced that way in Korean. Tessa Park is pronounced as Pak (so without the K) Lovely review! I've been looking for someone to review this version of the doll but no one did one until now ‍♀️

Witty: this is one of the first times a hair play doll came with accessories i actually want, these would be amazing for all of my dolls

Sydney Diaz: this set looks amazing! i honestly did not think it would work but glad it did :D

Oliver Sasse: a lot of dolls with nylon hair can actually be styled without heat and just water, i style all my mlps, omgs and rh dolls without heat unless they have tinsel. Only dolls that won't take styling without heat are the ones with straight nylon like mila berrymore or bhad gurl. Saying this just so everyone knows you're not reliant on the hair moose, so once it runs out you should be fine

LPSHunter: Those CRIMPSS ❤❤❤ so much better than the crimps Daphne originally came in

undamaged destiny: I may buy this set just to crimp junior high Sunny and Daphnes hair back. I brushed the gel out of junior high sunnys hair and it went straight and frizzy. I would love to get that look back. It’s so nice u can use the hair stuff for any doll styling. Will definitely come in handy for styling and It’s so hard to achieve that crimped look too. That looks like u uses a heat hair crimper iron really! Also if the moose runs out, I’m sure u can use gel or hair moose. I’ve used dollar tree hair gel on my dolls and had good results.

bratzscene: Lady Braids is a TOP tier omg...she's so pretty I can't

chickpea: Wish they sold separate packs of the mousse and accessories, I really don’t want the doll but love the concept <3

MLP Honey Rays TV: Ok I have to get this set omg I freaking love the crimp tools, the crimps turned out so clean thanks for showing us Brooke!

Shanna Stech: The doll looks like a ton of fun. I will have to get my friend's daughter this doll. She will love it. Thank you.

C. W.: The prices for many LOL dolls on Amazon right now are super low. Some are even buy 3, get one free. I was even thinking of ordering some from Canada because they are still cheaper than here, even with the shipping.

Samssy Randall: I hope they come out with refill bottles

olivia: I like that they gave her brown eyes

Crazygamergal: The sleeves are raw hemmed! It’s intentionally putting the the hemming on the outside! I have a pair of jeans that have it

April H: I have her and I love her. She is one of the prettiest OMGs. I'll have to get a 2nd if I can so I can keep 1 as is. Her original hairstyle is amazing and I don't want to touch it. Lol

LUBIA: Could you do a video or short of trying these on different hair types?

Serena: Most of these tools (except for the crimp clips maybe) are actually real hair tools that you can find at any beauty store, which i think is really cool for a playline doll and was what impressed me most when this line first leaked- and it also means that it should be really easy to find more of those waving tubes (and the hook) if you wanted to do a full head at once, or if you wanted tighter waves (they also make ones that are an actual curl rather than just a wave)! I do love the very specific, fantastical kinds of hair tools that dolls often come with but I'm always more impressed to see actual, real hair tools used on humans done in doll-scale for children, both for play and as a way for children to experience that kind of realism as a learning experience about the way real people do their hair! If I have to guess, the mousse does SOME work but is probably moreso just for the fun/realistic aspect of hairplay (very similar to real setting mousses and lotions) and is probably not that important for setting waves and texture in the hair, especially with nylon because it's so pliable with water that I suspect you'd get a very similar result just by spraying a little water in the hair and using the tools like that, albeit with slightly less hold. This concept actually reminds me heavily of the Ideal Toni doll from the 50's, who came with a set of hair tools and a special 'setting lotion' (a mixture of sugar and water) with advertising that heavily played into the fact that her wig was made with "magic" nylon and was therefore easier to set than other dolls- the same nylon that is so widely used on dolls today! There's also the iconic Kenya doll who also came with a bottle of lotion for setting and relaxing the hair.

Wren McNally: I had a rough day and I so need one of your videos. Thank you!!!!

snow: What will you do when the mousse finishes?

Indigo: I have her and had the same results- the wave formers were very blah and the crimps were beautiful. Only 2 of the 4 are hair play, the other ones are fashion

yukiko347: I am curious on trying a thin spray of conditioner in the doll hair for styling.

Turtle Ashlee: Two of the dolls are hair play and two of the dolls have mix and match or reversible fashion.

Tim Fox: Rainbow High hair reminds me of my little pony hair for some reason. Like they are easy to style and set like the MLP hair.

kluski: The crimps are great!

dollzloveme: I love your channel I loved this video

olivia: I need the chair!

The Cute Cat: Hey there! There are 4 fashion dolls, but sadly only two are hair oriented the other two are fashion focused without the hair play aspect. Missy and LA Rose are called style edition due to having their looks come in the form of multiple outfits and accessories, their gimmick is they have over 300 looks that can be achieved by mixing and matching outfits. The Amazon link is VERY misleading so a lot of reviewers think all 4 are hair edition. I've watched unboxings on all 4 dolls on various doll channels if you are wondering how I'm sure of this.

Oceanaquarius: Does it work brick?

Razmin Fox: Got her in the buy 2 get one free target sell

Strudel_Reviews: Dude we noticed the painted toe nails at the same time

Zoey Brown: I need to get doll

Lily Savoie: Wow!

rene laniel: There’s only one other of the hair play style the other two are fashion play ones

David McClellan: HI XCANADENSIS I GOT CONE MONSTER HIGH DOLL FRANKIE STAIN IM REROOTING HER NEW BACK AND WHITE HAIR THAT HAS MAGIC CURLS LOVE DAVID❄☃☃

Maxine Wendler💛A doll loving swiftie: Only 2 of the 4 dolls are hair play dolls the other 2 are fashion bastes dolls and yes both hair doll come with the same hair tools just in different colors ❤
