Here'S a styling tip, you're, probably missing out on from my experience from being a barber for nine years. This was always the case guys use way too much product in their hair, causing them to look very unnatural and cause a lot of clumpiness. So what you really want to do is you want to grab the product of your choice, grab only a pinch spread it all around your hands evenly before applying it into your hair. The last thing you want to do is use way too much product causing your hair to get bunched up and the only way to reverse that is to wash it out. So you'll be wasting a lot of time and a lot of product and then eventually you'll get better at styling your hair and then you're good to go on the first. Try

You can work the product from the back towards the front, but not the other way around.
