A Day In The Life Of A Hairstylist|Haircolor Before & Afters

Introducing the one and only Laura you you, it's gon na, be a super fun video just a few before and afters, and you guys get to meet a few of my clients. So a few things that I like to do to get ready for my day is terrifying, and these are my favorite foils to use and work with. They come in this big sheet and I tear them in half where that line is right there. Well, I usually clump a bunch of these together, tear them along the side of my table here and get a bunch of foils ready for my day. I turn my wigs on just in case. Anyone wants to get waxed today. It'S just ready to go. They also like to get my diffusers all set up and ready. I love geranium, it's like a really nice thing. So today we have Ashley here and she is wanting to do a partial highlight she has pretty short hair, but we're wanting to go a little bit shorter on the sides underneath here and keep the top a little bit longer to give her some volume on top. So we're going to do a honey blonde highlight so I will get everything mixed up. Okay, we got her all foils and washing processes. I'M gon na. Do this little cuties hair. I love these guys. These are good good. So this is when my friends come to this on we like to bring a few snaps. I love it perfect, yeah, Christina at the wine we're doing some cards for police officer appreciation week as a local police department. So we're doing our part, you know so here we are before Michaela wants to cut some length off, do a balayage and then deepen her route and we're gon na do a full olaplex treatment to get her super healthy processing for Bali. I'M going in here whose pain missus Christine's before we are going to be touching up her rootage we're gon na touch up her roots and, as you can see, her hair is pink, so we're gon na touch up her pink as well, but she wants more of A pale pink today, no big deal so Laura. What are you doing at the moment? Christine'S hair, so I am decolorizing her roots, and so what I'm going to be doing is just applying the lightener just on the root area: okay, taking fourth of an inch sections and applying it on both side, Wow, not the suction. It'S it's actually really fascinating. To watch this process because you can almost you can kind of see the hair lifting right now I like funny yeah it's. It'S really interesting, like I've heard that terminology so many times that I've never actually seen like I've, never really watched mm-hmm, and you can see like even the physical change in the hair yeah that right of her hair has changed. It is interesting and the lightener actually expands mm-hmm, so it kind of fattens up yeah and it kind of explodes, like the first section that I did here you can, you can totally see that's why they call it lifting yeah and it also adds volume to your Hair too, like whenever you do highlights, it just adds like a lift to your hair and volume, and since we use olaplex in the color, that's Europe took no damage. Yes, thank you to whoever created books. Yes, thank you. What'S your secret, so my little secret is that I actually add some sweetener has to be an artificial sweetener like a sweetener allow or I just get the generic right - okay, good good and that actually cuts the burn. So it you know in general is no losers. Don'T feel and those conclusion I mean it doesn't itch at all yeah, so I always recommend two packets, no matter how much bleach you're using when you're doing it to the scalp to packets, love it so natural party, not as good as yours, looks crostinis mid process. So we have her roots lightened, but I have not covered them here. So that's max, so we are about to apply Christian color. A pink mixed up. I'M using Redken City beats city ballet pink, let's get it now. She'S got a little. Why not your wax? Okay, guys so it died wraps up my day. It is 7:13.
