Quarantine Hair Transformation Ft. My Hair Stylist! ‍♀️

Oh too much in my hand, hey guys, so today's video is going to be me dyeing my hair at home, i'm having a little video chat session with my hairstylist and she's going to help me get through this and i'm a little nervous. As you can see, i don't know why i'm so nervous, i'm like oh but we'll get through this right before we get into this video, though i would love for you to hit that subscribe button and the notification bell, so you can be notified every single time. There show me some love there, because i post every single day and yeah, let's get into this video hi, i'm nervous, i don't know what i'm doing with hair. I really don't so i'm nervous, i'm here, for you, like anything that you do today is not gon na mess up anything. It'S like a light corner. So don't let the cube work. Okay, let's mix this okay! No! I don't! I don't know what to do so. Let'S mix your roots first, so that is going to be the 5 0 and the 5 0. half 5 0 and then half 5.00 okay. So i'm scared! This is it right. Yeah, 500, oh yeah, and so this is for your roots. Your roots are a little bit long, so i would honestly put like most of the tube in there most of the tube okay, like like half a little bit over half there, you go you think, because you're going to want to like drag it a little bit. Yeah and then you're going to add the 5-0 to that the same amount, okay, yep, so we're gon na ask the developer like a like one to one and a half. We can do so like do like the same amount. Try to measure with your eyes. I know that's probably the hardest part i usually do like. So. However, many like lines there are is like how my squirts i'll do the developer, just kind of like squirt it around in the ball. Let me see, show me the bowl. Oh yeah, there you go. Okay, now squirt it in and i'll try to pay attention like the same amount, a little more than that. Definitely more a little bit more there. You go okay and then i was like wait. I only got you one bowl in one brush, so we'll just wash this brush off and then you can use it for your head. I didn't get a bowl actually and and when i looked at it yeah when i looked at the packing slip, it wasn't on there so but it's okay, it was back, ordered or something yeah. At least you got the brush yeah yeah! No, i mean i, i have a bunch of plastic bowls but like i'm like a little nervous to use them for eating. After this, i don't know yeah so, but this is just like the nails are so long. They probably won't even fit in the gloves. Oh crap, i didn't even think about that. Oh no they'll work. Hopefully, where are the gloves? I had them here. Oh here they are okay. I have everything. Oh my gosh, i'm just so unorganized here, okay, so this seems to be pretty mixed. I would probably add a little bit more developer. That'S a little like not creamy enough! There'S this pretty like creamy yeah! That'S better! Better yeah! Yes, much better! Okay! So what i recommend to you, especially as a beginner, is like section out your hair so like in four quadrants, do like down the middle and then do across from ear to ear. So don't you have four effects? Yeah? Actually there you go. I never part my hair in the middle so feels weird yeah, okay, and then i like to start in the back, because that's probably like the hardest part, because you can't see oh goody yeah. So is this any good sectioning yeah, that's perfect and you can just like tie it up in a ponytail or you can clip it whatever you want just to get it out of the way and put on your gloves, i like to do like around the perimeter Of the section and you're just covering like where your roots are with this formula: okay, so wherever it's dark, that's where you're putting this okay, not any lower! No, unless you want it to be like drastically lower, do you want to lower it more um? I don't know i'm kind of like i wanted the not balayage but like uh, more of an ombre effect. I feel like here it's such a harsh line, but i guess with this i could always like kind of make it cover it. I would say, maybe like an inch more yeah, so like overlap the line just a little bit, because it's going to be lighter just because that hair is blonde underneath of it right. So it's going to give you more of a gradient effect. Anyways, i think that'll be good, so if you just do like an inch over the vlog and then like once you get that formula on your roots, let that sit for about, like, i would say, 10 to 15 minutes, and then you can put the other formula On your ends, okay, so mixing the other two, the same way exactly yeah yeah and then so then that will sit. I will, i would watch it if you don't want it to turn to silver. It'S going to look a little silver to your eye, but like move the color around with your fingers and look at the hair, because oxidation on this color is always going to be more than you'll, actually see when you wash it out. So i would say about 10 or 15 minutes and if you start to see hairs, turn purple like when you move it around then take it off: okay, so 10 or 15 minutes the dark root and then 10 or 15 minutes the other yep together. And so when you, after you, get the dark root on and you have your ends on too, that's when you take the comb and you comb it all the way through. So you make sure that all of your hair is saturated and then you're also dragging that root color into the lighter color, so that it blends very nicely and that's what's going to give you that ombre is the comb okay and wait. So when do i comb? Sorry like after i'm done putting it after your you've, put everything on okay like right after i don't yep, okay, cool, i'm nervous well and okay. So i'm like nervous about the back, because i can't see it alright. Now i am going to just do this and kind of get the bottom sections. Oh no, so i am going to take it a little bit lower. I just wanted to be more of a an ombre. Oh my gosh, i probably took it too low there next section. I guess i'm just gon na do this. First, oh, it hurts to section off my hair with gloves. To be honest, all right here we go next section all right: everything has gotten really messed up. I don't know why, but i always suck at doing like this side for some reason of anything like even straightening, my hair. Okay. So now that everything is on my head, i'm going to go ahead and set a timer for 15 minutes, and then i can do the other shade, which is gon na, be the blonde and i'm nervous. You see, i got some down here. Oh no, hopefully everything is okay, because i've never done this before and now i'm very nervous. I will see you guys in 15 minutes. Okay, now it's time to mix the other crap. Let me take off my gloves, because i can't do it, but now i have time to mix the other stuff. I kind of let the alarm go, my bad, but whatever it is the way it is. This is by the way, i'm using all pulp riot products which my salon swears by, so i trust them because i love the way my hair looks so i tried this as much as i could, but i just rinsed out the dye that was in there. So hopefully, hopefully, this is good. I feel like this is way less yeah. I think all right. Here'S hoping i have no idea how i'm supposed to do this. Okay. So now i'm gon na comb. Everything through like she said to do jesus my hair tingles so easily guys damn the roots. Look so dark! I'M scared, they're too dark. Okay, so i'm gon na go rinse it because the timer's about to go off, and she said when it starts looking silver to go ahead and rinse it, and it is supposed to look darker. I guess this is going to be my first step and going completely dark. I don't know we'll see we'll see i kind of want to go completely dark. I'M excited to see what this looks like. Let'S go, rinse it off. Okay, you guys so i'm not even going to lie to you. I lost the footage, the original footage from when i first did my hair. So this is three months later, i'm pretty sure it's three months, i'm like not even 100 sure when i first died. My hair, but this is the second time i do it because i did have enough dye and left in the tubes to do this a second time so we're gon na see how it turned out this time. I have no idea what my hair looks like. Let'S take it out of the oh, i'm excited, so i'm not gon na lie to you. I remember the reason i went completely platinum blonde. I get a lot of grays a lot, a lot lot of greens, so this is like a huge upkeep for me, but going platinum was also a huge upkeep. So it's not really such a difference anyway. I think no matter what hair color i go. I'M gon na have to do some sort of upkeep. I'M gon na like leave a poll, probably on my community tab. If you wan na go vote, please vote. I love that, and then i also like was a redhead. A few years back, i did this like dark, like black to a nice like wine, colored red ombre on my hair, and i like that was such a vibe for me too, but that was so hard to get out when i wanted to go back to blonde The thing with me is that i get really really bored with my hair, color and style. Let me know what you guys think also, let me know if i should keep growing my hair out or if i should keep it short khloe kardashian was such a vibe for me, like 2019 2018. So that's why i wanted to have my hair just like hers to be honest, like it was so cute the way she had her hair. I just don't really think i can pull it off because i'm not as done as her, but whatever we're gon na we're gon na move on we're gon na dry. This hair see how it looks at the end, but yeah. Really i mean there's not much of a difference between or if you like, that whole dark, two burgundy red situation. Let me know as well. Oh my gosh. This is, i don't know right now, like i'm already bored with this hairstyle, and i've only had it a few months, so i can already see i'm gon na be bored with it in the next couple months, but i'm gon na leave it obviously because i just Did it at least for a little while i have a little bit left in the tubes i'm not gon na. I could probably squeeze one more out of that like situation by the way i just sprayed the pravana intense therapy leave-in treatment on my hair. This is what my hair stylist back in california, recommended for me to use. I like this leave-in treatment so so much. I have a hair care routine. That'S like a year old. I hasn't changed at all. To be honest, so if you want to check it out, i will have it up in the cards and i will also leave it down in the description, but it literally hasn't changed. The only thing that's different is, i do use a hair mask once a week. I really only wash my hair, maybe at the max twice a week, but lately it's been once a week to be honest because i haven't really gone anywhere anyway. So it's there's no point in washing my hair more than once a week. The only thing that is different, though, is i use the pulp riot. It'S a hair mask. It leaves my hair really really soft. Obviously, i also use this kevin murphy young again, and this is like a oil and oil ew and oh oil. My grammar is not very good today um, but i do this before i blow dry, my hair as well just to give it a nice shine when i blow dry it. Oh my gosh, you guys. I don't know this is kind of a vibe. I did take it a little bit even lower this time, so i'm just like gradually getting darker. I don't know if that's the vibe i'm gon na go for, though i have no idea you guys like. I have no idea it's like a commitment, you know, but then at the same time you can change your hair. Whenever you want like it's, not that big of a deal. The only thing is that yeah, if i go red - and i regret it - and i want to go back to blonde - that is a huge process that i never want to do again. It was horrible horrible having to take away the red for my hair red is so hard anyway. I'M gon na blow dry. My hair i'll just do like a time lapse of this, i'm using my dyson air wrap. This is the original attachment and i'm also using wow. This is nasty. I'M sorry this attachment as well, because i'm gon na straighten my hair. Also before i forget this wet brush is from amazon. I highly recommend it because it does not damage your hair you're not supposed to brush your hair, like with a normal brush when it's wet. So i recommend you get a wet brush because it's really really gentle on your hair. Okay, so my hair is pretty much dry. I'M gon na go eat some lunch because it's definitely past lunch time and i'll come back to straighten my hair on camera. Okay, so i'm back from eating lunch. Ah, my glasses, i hate the glare but like i have to wear them because i'm blind - and i don't feel like putting any contacts today, because i'm not gon na - do my makeup today, because it's just i'm gon na edit this video and put it up like Right now, but i went to burger king for lunch. This is so random. I know, but i just want to tell you guys. I just tried the impossible whopper and my life has changed like it is so good. I never thought that i would actually enjoy a meatless whopper like if you know me, i love red meat. Like i am hispanic. We eat red meat all the time we eat pork. We eat steak. We like oh, my gosh like anyway. I'M surprised that i like it, but all right anyway, back to the hair oops um, i have my um dyson crawl charging here which, by the way i hate this stupid charger because it comes off every two seconds. Do any of y'all have the dyson corral. Let me know, because i have questions first of all, let's see if you can hear this, i'm gon na like try to be really really quiet and try to get you to hear the stupid sound that it makes when it's charging. It sounds like crickets and like when i take it off. Look, listen, no crickets! So there's something weird going on with this. I don't like that, but it should be fully charged by now, but i have no idea if it is or not nope. It'S like halfway charged, so we're probably not going to get through my entire head of hair, but we're gon na do it anyway. I set it at 410. It'S probably gon na tell me that it's dying in like five seconds, because it does that i there's so many things that i don't like about this this device. It'S to me not worth the money. I just realized i'm wearing a shirt over my tank top only because we went to burger king and i want to be free, so just took it off anyway. I am going to section. Oh letting me know it's hot enough, i'm going to section off my hair, like i always do and brush my hair again. I always use the wet brush, even if my hair is not wet just because it's easier, i don't know if i mentioned this before i blow dry, my hair, but i did take the ombre part, like the darker part, a little lower and i think it came Out really nice, like, i think that the ombre is like really seamless. It doesn't look like a harsh line, which is good, but it's really hard to tell like when you're doing this on your own, like especially in the back of your head. So, there's that i'm gon na link this down below, because i get questions about this all the time in my dyson video. I got so many questions and i think i forgot to link it in that video so stupid. But i got this from amazon and i think it's just like a flat iron comb. If you type that in it'll come up, it is so handy because you can just like make sure you have no knots as you are pushing your flat iron through, and it just makes your hair really really nice and smooth. I love it, but anyway i think i'm just going to time lapse the rest of my straightening journey. I really really like my hair pinned straight. So if i pass my flat iron like 78 times on one piece of hair, that would be why you probably don't have to do it as many times as i do. But to me my hair can never be straight enough. I don't know. I just love my hair straight. This thing is so annoying like the sound of getting to me the stupid cricket, sound. I don't know if you guys can hear it, but i'm unplugging it, but it is so freaking annoying and it like started beeping that it was gon na die and it was halfway charged and i had just started it's so i don't like that. The charge just does not last for 500; it should be better than that. That'S just my opinion. I honestly should have returned it before still really like it, because, like look at this, my bionic cannot give me this strip pin straight hair. My hair is super frizzy. Anyway, i'm gon na go in with some shine spray. This is the kevin murphy shimmer me blonde shine spray and honestly, i'm almost out of this stuff. So i'm just gon na like pour some in my hand and do this the old-fashioned way. Oh too much in my hand, i'm a klutz and hopefully it doesn't get everywhere. I love the smell of this one too. It smells so good. It makes my hair look so shiny. I was speaking to my husband. While we were eating lunch because he's working from home today - and i was like i'm gon na - ask my subscribers what hair color i should do next or whatever like what what i should like try transition to and he's like. You should go black and i'm like. Oh, i don't know because i'm so pale like when i look good with really really dark brown or black hair, like let me know for real, i'm gon na do a poll, but this is my hair transformation, my quarantine, hair transformation.
