In this video, you guys are going to see the results of the flat twist that i put in from the last video. Please watch all the way to the end to see how it came out again to my gray, hair sisters, who have fine, gray, natural hair. That is thin. You are going to find comfort when you see how these results come out. Look at those ends that are thin. This is another example of a style that i figured from the beginning wasn't going to come out as i expected. So i want you to remember - or i want you to know, that i've tried styles like this before and had better results, but it goes to show even for myself, even though i'm still well i'm 39. So i'm about to be in my 40s, your hair changes as you get older, and your hair changes the more gray that you get so i was able to tell from this look at that: i'm not using perm rods again, not using them. If i don't have end paper, so i made sure to rehydrate my hair, i used baskin bloom mango twisting cream, as well as nature's little secret flaxseed custard, to achieve the style that i'm going to salvage this flat twist fail. So please again watch all the way to the end. Let me know what you guys thought again: no you're, not alone with the fine, thin gray hair, and sometimes you have to try things to really know that they are not for you. So i'd love to hear what you guys think of this in the comments. How have you treated a failed hairstyle? What is your go-to style when what you expected doesn't come through um baby me? Ah so so me, ah bye me do so. You

miniminott48: This is why I stick to wash and gos with my fine, low to medium density gray hair. Wash and gos have never failed me. I don't stretch my hair because the shrinkage gives me the appearance of volume which I love.

jjMua Artistry: ... hey beautiful!!! Styling is hard when we have that one go to style that we’ve perfected. I say keep trying because I could definitely see how it could have worked. I vote for a redo!! You can do it Nina!!!!!

Darcey DeRosa: My gray hair is definitely more coarse and I am coming to grips with it. Working on finding a great product for my thick hair. It’s definitely growing now and that wasn’t happening until I stopped using the dye. I beat breast cancer and now I’m getting bold by not using hair dye anymore. It has been 3 months post BC, but 10 months since I have stopped using hair dye.

Yanz C: Your texture seems similar to mine (at least 1 of my 3). At shorter lengths the twist outs work for me but my has a mind of its own as it gets longer. The high puff is always a go to. The end result was beautiful!

SuperSkinandHairCare: Your hairdo rescue came out great in the end! I think if you did more flat twists, there would have been a different result. Stay graceful and graysful!

Theresa Vinson: Hi Nina! I’m going to have to vote with Ava on this one. I mean you have a lot of hair albeit short, and I think I saw you take down like eight perm rods. I don’t really know what you were expecting with eight rollers on the very ends of the front of your hair, but all of your hair wasn’t on the rod just the ends. Idk can you really expect your entire head to curl or stand up from just those eight rollers on the end? I think if you commit to perm rod all over your head you’ll probably get a better result. Also, your hair was behaving weighed down like it had too many heavy products so idk, just an observation from what I could tell from the video.

The awesome person Chuney: I like your hair & I think you should keep trying what works for you I wish I had gray hair. Don’t give up

Janice Elliott: It would have been pretty if you wouldn't have wet it ,you took away. the curl and the body in it ....Once you curl it or plait it. never wet it. Be sure all of that is done before. You have beautiful hair. The cut is gorgeous.

Phyllis Pierce: I think you should try flat twisting in smaller sections. Flat twist outs WERE my go to style, but I had to make sure they weren't too big or small. Too big, no definition. Too small, they were frizzy!

LaVinia Love: OMG!!!! I LOVE IT!!! Where can I find one of those headbands??? I need to put this on my list, cause my hair failures are more present than my successes ‍♀️‍♀️

Shan-terrific XmasHawkins: The puff was my go to, whenever Trina Jane displayed her right to be contrary; which was 7 days out of 7. . Thanks for the video.

Michele R: Your hair type is exactly like mine. So glad I found you. You are an inspiration! You help me to love my hair.

Melanie Harris: Simply beautiful gray⭐️ Respectfully, I would recommend a barber shape up/line on your sides and back for a more tapered look. Thanks much❤️

Maria Katsande: You are truly a lovely, lovely person and you really work hard to show the different ways to look after, maintain gray hair.Your hair is long but deceptively short looking.I love the texture of your hair and how it's short at the back and longer towards the front. At one of your posts you used kaolin, may I ask under what name is sold.Is it also the product that is used to stop a runny tummy? Is it a paste or a liquid?Thank you for all you do. I write from Southern Africa but I can buy things on line.

quidagis33: Your hair is so beautiful! Next time try at least 5-10 flat twists directed to the back. Maybe it will give you the outcome you desire, without using rods.

J. H.: I am much older than you but we sooo have similar textures... your puff style was a great “rescue”... you are beautiful and thank you for taking the time to share!

Cocoa Monroe: Your gray is so beautiful sis! ❤️

Elizabeth Paul: You can handle your hair well and with so much love. That's important because it responds to it

Shelby McDanDan: Cute!! I feel your pain with the flat twist . This fine, low density of mine.. But your white-gray seem to have twisted very pretty though ~ hang in there sis I love the ending it was so beautiful

indria drayton: I like it, myself. Don't separate it so much, leave the twists almost in tact. As for my own abysmal atttempts, pin up or ponytail, depending!

Donna Herndon: You should also try Bask&Bloom Twirly gel and or the Curl mousse because your wear wash&go. I use her products for my 2strand twists.

rainy day sunny life: Looks cute. Lovin' the gray!

Debra Jones: I always love your videos.

Cleo Kelly: Love your headband

Sheila Printup: My Mom has hair like yours, I did smaller sections than you did and it came out cute. But her hair is not as long as yours.

Pockets On Full: Maybe if it was twisted tighter to make more definition? ‍♀️The puff is a style failure saver for sure or an afro.

Juanita Romar: Your gray is so beautiful

Fay Fitzgerald: I love it

Donna Herndon: Nina. That's why I don't use the perm rods. Like I said in one of live chats they snag my hair

indria drayton: There wasn't enough moisture and the product didn't allow for clumpage.

indria drayton: I just love your hair!!!

indria drayton: The facial expressions!!

Donnetta Daniels: I either put on a headband or rinse it out and start over, if I am pressed for time, wet it and put it in 2 flat twists. You know Lucy Pearl likes to act up on occasion.

sarah reynolds: I love this

MJ-alwayslearning: I like your headband and want to know where you got it from?

Angerlean Hammond: Your hair looks really dry like it needs oil, like maybe a hit oil treatment.

Marcia Williams:

Roman Coleman: Failed

ElNora Darby: turned out nice to me
