Hey guys, I have noticed that lately in hair, it has been all about volume, volumizing powders are everywhere and they are really popular. So today I thought I would show you how to make a DIY version all made from ingredients. You should have at home really easy to make and it is effective as well plus it doubles as a dry shampoo. I have made a shampoo DIY video about a year ago, but I'm using just add different ingredients in my volumizing powder, just because in my dry shampoo, I use mostly cocoa powder, since my hair is dark, but the cocoa powder does weigh down a little bit on The hair, so if you really are looking for volume, then this is a better way together. So what I'm going to use is cocoa powder corn starch a little mixing bowl? Something is sifted with something to stir it with, and some nice scented oil. That goes with the smell of cocoa. By the way, this is the darker version. If you have light hair, you can just use the cornstarch and leave out the cocoa powder. So, first of all, I'm going to take a little bit of cornstarch and sit through this to make sure all the lumps are out. Then I take a few teaspoons of cocoa powder just to make it brown so that I won't leave any gray cast in my hair Hartley's, not as much that should be enough. Okay, let's stir this see what the color turns out like a little bit more okay. That should do it. I don't want to add too much of cocoa powder because it weighs it down and now I'm going to take a little bit of essential oil and you can use any scent that you like, and that goes with chocolate. I really like mints or eucalyptus a little knife to treat here. I'M just going to add a few drops this going to make it smell, really good when you applied it to your hair. So now I'm going to take my container that I want to put it in this. One has a little sprinkling pennies on the top, so I'm going to take a little code and their sheer volume icing powder. Senator you have a few mineral volumizing powder and you can use this just in the morning, just sprinkle it on your hair and just scrunch it up, and it will give you a beautiful volume. It is amazing to do when you're going to do your hair up in braids or just enough to kids- volume at the roots. That'S all there is to it now you have an amazing volumizing powder for so cheap really easy to make DIY. It was fun to do as well, so I really hope you enjoyed this video. I want to thank you so much for watching and I'll see you guys racing by hey guys. So it's been awhile since I filmed my last diet and fitness routine and cut a few things have changed since then. So I thought this would be a nice time.

Mony's cell: I use this same mixture, minus the essential oil, for my dry shampoo and it's the best dry shampoo I've ever used. You have darker hair than I do and since you mention that the cocoa weighs hair down, I just thought I'd mention that you could try dutch cocoa which is darker - it might allow you to use less cocoa to achieve the color you want. I've been meaning to try it myself next time I have to mix up a new batch. Hope this helps. tfs :)

Crowned Lily: I've been told by my hairdressers that tea tree oil can claim dry scalp and oliy hair so adding it to this is a great idea!

dasha: I use a brush to apply the hair power and it works great!! It is applied way more evenly and you have no residue on the scalp.

Joy C: Dry shampoo for redheads, my recipe is red clay mixed with arrowroot powder, and i add some bronze colored mica powder for shimmer. Adjust the color as u prefer, more clay is more orangey, arrowroot or even cornstarch will lighten it up to your hair color. Also good for concealing scalp spots if youre thin
