Heatless Overnight Curls/Waves | Medium Length Fine Hair | A Win And A Fail | Robe Curls

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel if you've been watching any of the last videos that i put out, i'm on kind of like a hair bender right now, i'm following a little bit of the curly girl method, you're not supposed to use a lot of heat. I am getting a little bit sick of either having to wear my hair up or do the whole curly girl method every day. So i'm looking for a couple heatless hairstyles that i will be able to do in the meantime, i'm trying to go two months without any heat. I don't know what my neighbors are doing: they're like banging on the ceiling of course. So i got my hair pretty straight by just continuously brushing it while it was drying. Um. Let'S see here, i was outside in the snow yeah it's snow today, um it was outside in the snow and it got a little bit wet so and i then see it's curled up now. Uh. Let me see if i can show you guys the back. Maybe it's probably a little wavy back there um, but i'm hoping that this amazing heatless hairstyle hack, it's gon na work for me um. I don't think it's gon na to be honest, a because my hair is really fine. I never really thought that a lot of the wavy, like the big curls or the big soft waves ever really looked good on me. I don't, i just think it's the way my hair is, i think it just doesn't really look as full or as like nice as it should. So, apparently, you can take a bandana or a bathrobe tie split your hair into two i'll brush. My hair again switch your hair into two sides, whatever two with two sections. You place this over your head like this hi and then you take some hair, they say start it either see my hair so thin like when they did it. It didn't look like this. So you want to start it like close to like where your eyebrow is mine's a little lower, but i think i just want it like that, because if you start it really high, your curls are going to start really high and we're kind of going for, like A flowy look so then you just wrap it around and then grab more hair and just keep wrapping. So it's really like uh, french braids or whatever they say. Don'T. Do it too tight because it'll be very flat on the top, like you'll, take a new volume out of the top, so you can actually do it pretty slightly and dry. Hair is what you need for this, so we have dry hair. I can picture myself. I know exactly what this would look like if i did it with wet hair, it would be so tight and so funny. Looking so there's that side - and i saw a girl say you can secure it with a pony. I might do that. But for now i don't know it doesn't even she's, like i put it in my teeth, just goes to show how short my hair is. That'S not going to work so, yes, i have to secure it with a tie. I don't know about this. I feel like it's going to leave a dent at the bottom of my hair, but it doesn't do it to anyone else, so we'll just go with everyone else's experience. Even though is it in god the struggle? It'S fine. So now we'll do the other side. Where do we want this so like they say again, i'm gon na try to make it go with my eyebrow, it's kind of weird, if like, if you have, if you can't french braid or not spray it or anything, it's a weird mechanism, but if you can, Then it actually feels pretty normal, like it feels pretty much just like you're doing that. Okay, so here it is, you can tighten it up on each side, but this is what it looks like you can either tighten it up a bit and then do like a bun on each side. I just don't know how comfortable that's gon na be to sleep with i mean it doesn't feel too bad right now, all right, maybe i'll just do it like this. I did see another girl try to pull it back. It looked awkward though it looked a little bit hard to do, and since this is my first time, i think i'll just stick with the classic princess, leia, double buns, okay, so awkward feeling, oh, my god, then wow um and i don't know if i'm actually like Twisting these buns the right way - oh my god, i'm gon na look like such a little milkmaid after this - i guess! Oh, maybe if i would have did it all the way down on the other side, it would be a little better because then it like kind of wants to curl up. So i think i'm twisting them the right way. I don't know if it matters for the bun part sleeping on this might be a little funky. This is what it looks like. I don't have no idea what it looks like in the back, so don't climb me. I have no idea, i'm just laughing at myself. Look at me, i look like a look at an old mama um. It'S like lopsided. I think i need to put another one in this side, so they say you can keep your hair like this for like four to five hours or sleep on it. So i'm probably just gon na sleep on it, we're ready to go, and i will show you guys and i will show you guys the results in the morning. Hopefully, if they last that long see you later good morning, everyone it is the next day. I did sleep with them in um, it wasn't the most comfortable thing i have to say, but they did stay in pretty well. It was just like you're sleeping on a big lump um. I did find, if i put my hand, kind of like in front of it on either side. It was a little bit more comfortable, but all in all i don't know if i would do it again. Like i said, i saw someone else who tied the buns in the back, so that'd be worth a try. I just don't know if it messed up the curl pattern. So let's go ahead and try to take them out. Oh my god, it looks really really curly. I think it's more curly than i wanted it to be. It was in my hair for a super long time put it in at six o'clock and it's like 7 30, the next day. So, oh my god see. This is why, oh, my god see this is why i knew it wasn't gon na work for me, ew, look at it. It'S like it's really curly, but eww like what is this. I suffered all night for this, like, oh, my god. Let me see if i can loosen it up a little. I saw one girl brush it out. I mean at this point at this point. We might as well try. Oh, my god. It'S gon na get so poofed up. Okay, it's a little looser! Oh my god! It made my hair really short and really girly. I feel like i look like i'm in, like the 20s or something i have to drive my boyfriend and pick up his vehicle or whatever at the garage. I'M just gon na leave it out and hope that it settles a little bit and i'll come back in a couple hours, because i don't have to go to work until noon and it's like 7 30 right now, so we'll see how she goes um. Hopefully, hopefully it relaxes, maybe i'll put some product in it. Um we'll see i'll, try to style it. When i get back see you soon, hello, okay, so it's been a little over two hours and i played with my hair um. I wet it down a little bit and i just messed up the root a little bit because it was really flat. It keeps flattening down, but that's normal for my hair um just added some oil. I also added some dry shampoo to try to beef it up up there. You know but yeah, here's what it looks like now. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me like this? I could not do this with a curling iron, like my hair, doesn't look right when i try to curl it or it'll. Just like fall out like this, and it's definitely in there in there, like. I don't think it's gon na go anywhere, wow like i. Actually, i'm so impressed with this. I did not think this was gon na work for my hair. You guys saw it a minute ago. Well, it was technically two hours ago it looked like. It was just like tight beyond repair, but if you brush it out - and you know play with it a little bit - it actually comes out so nice like you, would never know that i didn't use a curling iron on this. There'S like no phrase like it's so shiny, wow like i'm, so i'm so impressed. I really am wow but yeah. I recommend this. I think with fine hair, maybe don't wrap it super tight, give it a chance to kind of come down brush it out and just play with it and it'll come out nice. I i will say i really like this little piece right here and i didn't brush it too much like i just kind of i brushed like right up until this part, and i really wanted this little defined piece right here, but they're all like pretty defined pieces. It'S so cool, like i never thought i could get a hairstyle like this from one of those heatless hacks like it always looks like a heatless hack. You know what i'm saying: there's people that curl the hair like this every day, guys don't do it anymore anyway. I can't say enough about this now i was gon na say i would never do it again with a sleeping situation but honestly you're saving your hair, so much damage and it looks really nice, so i am here for it all the way, all right, everybody thanks.
