Curlformers Heatless Curls Updo On Fine Natural Hair

Hey Lovelies!

Finally tried my hand at Curlformers with this fluffy curls updo. I absolutely love the results though they didn't turn out exactly as expected! For my fine haired ladies these are great for some added volume and better yet they are heat free!

Has any one else tried a Curlformer set? Which technique works best for you?

Don'T don't hey guys so to achieve the fluffy tails updo, I'm going to be using the 40 piece long and wide curve form of styling kit to get things started. I get the hook that was provided in the styling kit and then I just take one of the Cal formers and slide it right onto the hook now onto my hair to each curl. I take a small section of my hair, which has been freshly washed and I start off by detangling it after I've detangled it. I then go on to add some styling mousse to the section of hair for a smoother and shinier finish. The method that helps me slide the Cal former on successfully each and every time it's the twister section of my hair quite firmly at the root. Once I've twisted the section of my hair, I then reach for my hooks and attach this to the twisted section, making sure it's as close to my roots as possible. Once I've done this, I can clearly slide the curl forma to the very top of the hook. Once the Cal former has hit the top of the hook, I then reach for the bottom of the hook and use this to pull my hair through. It took me a while to figure out, but with time practice definitely made perfect. So again take a small section of your hair and detangle. This you'll, then probably want to add a styling mousse and for smoother and shinier results once you've done. This then twist the section of your hair as firmly as possible at the root and then attach your hook to the twisted section of your hair. Then slide your curl forma as close to the top of the hook as possible, and once you've done this reach. For the bottom of the hook and slide the hair through 14 minutes later - and I'm finally done - and this is what the Cal form will look like - I'm going to need these to dry for a couple of hours and then come back and show you the takedown Process approximately six hours of air drying later and I'm hoping my hair is dry to take the Cal form as down I'll Ravel, each one and press that opening at the very top of the Cal forma. Once this is open. I then slide the car former down and there I have my first car. It takes me around about five minutes to do this. On my entire head of hair, once I taken all of the Cal formers down, the next step was to separate the curls to get some volume. As you can see, I experienced a bit first, and that was because my hair was not fully dry. That'S my cellphone! Hubby were going out, I decided the best thing to do would be to separate the curls and throw my hair into an updo, hence the hairstyle. As soon as I finished separating the curls. I then gathered my hair and threw into a high bun using bobby pins, where necessary. I also left the few curls out just to give the hairstyles for more character. Although the hairstyle didn't turn out exactly how I expected, I actually fell in love with this hairstyle. As someone with thin and fine natural hair, I love it when I can get volume from a hairstyle I'd love to know what you guys think, and I know I would definitely be giving Cal form as another. Try you

Faith: I look forward to seeing your afro grow. As someone who has fine but also highly dense hair, I find that the majority of natural women on YT with really long hair usually have insanely thick hair. Yours is beautiful!

Nik Henderson: I love the results! I'm also glad to see that you left your edges alone and didn't plaster them down :) Very natural style

Lavinia Lahrese: Very pretty! I love how the style turned out on you :)

ShesDanni: hairstyle is cute! I want to try it now lol

Taiwo Kafilat: Love the results! And the style :-)

CandieMDP Hair Adventures: I've been wanting to try these! I love it!!!

Jazmin Racquel: This is such a cute style!

Marcia M: Such a pretty look. I'm going to try it!

Chika W: This hairstyle looks fab. I have a set of curlformers collecting dust but this has inspired me to give it another go.

Chay Andrea: Love these for stretching, such cute curls :)

Bad Loulou: Hi beautiful. I really like your results, thanks a lot for sharing :) I've been thinking about getting curlformers to stretch my hair before styling, instead of twists, braids and roller sets. You and I have very similar texture and density, so I wanted to have your opinion: would you say curlformers are a better alternative (ie. less manipulation & breakage, easier installation, better results, etc) to braids and roller sets just for stretching purpose?

wnordelus: thank you for actually making it a tutorial style video

thelovelytiara: I use my curlformers as a heatless way to stretch for twistouts and braid outs

eVaniwithaV: I like these results too! You look like a doll! Great video, God bless!

Lavinia Lahrese: Looks gorgeous!! Did you find yourself losing hair from the install process? I want to try it out again, but I'm afraid that I lost a little bit of hair the last time I tried installing the curlformers...

Kimberly Burt: Beautiful de fiantly something I can use to stretch my hair with minimal heat and manipulation. It also seems to most of the work for you

Franceline Lebrun: I love the updo, <3

zay zay: Hello, I just subscribed :) love the video and cant wait to try this for my new protective style........

Renee Johnson: It came out cute!

ghoulin: editing and hair on point

shadele17: I have fine natural hair too and luckily I also have the curlformers dupe so will definitely be giving this a try!

Johanne Elie Jean: I love it

Neon Flux: Absolutely Cute

Dorothy Baskin: Amazing that the ends were not frizzy

Nah: Lovely.

Intersectionality: You still werked it

Chris C: beautiful..

Freedom Styles: Beautiful

SM: How do you know that you have thin and fine hair? Like I can't tell if my hair is thick or just high density

M M: Your face when you undid the first curlformer . I actually thought the hair style still looked good with the frizz.

FuzzBuzz♡: Cute

FeliceMyStyle: Super cute...

Healthnbeauty1: I'm going to try it.
