Hey guys today, I am going to show you how you can bring some value into fine hair. Now I personally don't have the finest hair, but I definitely wouldn't say my hair is thick and full either I suffered from hair loss when I was 18 and most of my hair fell out then like well over half of it and I had so little hair Back then, and it hasn't fully grown back, even though I am happy with the thickness it is now. I think my hair can still be considered fine hair. This is the thickness of my braids. It is, I mean it's completely fine with me, but I know plenty of people that have twice this amount in one braid when they do like to braids. So yes, I definitely crave a little bit more volume in my hair. Sometimes today I have a few tips for all of you: fine haired girls out there how you can add a little bit more volume to your hair on a day to day basis. So, first of all, I always feel like fine hair, greatly benefits from a bit of texture, so a little bit of a wave, some curl. Luckily we find haired. Girls can curl our hair really quickly. So I am just going to let my curling iron heat up here. This is a 19 millimeter barrel, so it is pretty small. I'M still gon na get pretty large curls from Daniel C wine later. So when you do have fine hair be very careful about the heat you set, your heat tool to like mine has a setting that is 177 degrees, and that is usually what I use for my hair. If your hair is even finding the mine definitely go lower. If you can - and I never go over 188 degrees Celsius, so that is 350 Fahrenheit, so 350 degrees Fahrenheit is kind of my standard heat for styling and there is no need to go higher than that and it helps kind of prevent heat damage to my hair. So I also always use a heat protector whenever I am styling my hair, just because it helps protect hair. You know from any heat damage. Finer hair just suffers from heat damage more quickly than thicker hair does so definitely be careful with that now, if your hair has trouble holding a curl, then there are some products you can use for that as well. I like to use a kind of like heat setting spray, and this is just a setting product that activates when you apply heat to it. There are several of those products out there, or I could just use a mousse that works really well as well, but I feel like this just makes my curls last a little bit longer and I don't apply too much of this just a few spritzes throughout all Of my hair and now here's the great thing about having fine hair, I am actually just going to like. I have separated my hair in half here, Oh both pieces forward. I am just going to take all of my hair and wrap it around my curling iron, like all the hair that I have on one side, I'm going to wrap and just hold it there for a few seconds. You don't to hold this too long. What you do want to be sure that your hair is heated through through all sides, but since the curling iron isn't set on a super high heat, you don't have to worry about this too much. Then I'm gon na pull my curling iron out and just hold this for a few more seconds and I'm going to kind of open my hand like that to allow it to cool down a little bit while I'm still holding it in a pretty finished kind of Coal shape I'm just going to help the curl set in this shape and also make the curls last a lot longer, and I'm just going to let it down behind my back and do the same thing on the other side. So just wrap all of my hair around the curling iron. I just hold it for a bit now. If you do this and you feel like nothing happened, then maybe your sections are too thick. After all, so you may want to split your hair into four sections that just depends on how fond your hair is. I can just get away with two, but it looks a little bit nicer when I do four, so I'm going to just split this one more time and I'm gon na do the top and bottom separately. So I don't think to hold it as long this time. Just because I've already curled my hair, but this is also going to help me crawl, all the way up to my roots and just give me a little bit more volume and lift up there. Now, if you don't see use heat on your hair at all, which is understandable, then there are a bunch of really cool overnight heaps those curling methods that you can use now for fine hair. Specifically, I do not recommend using any of the overnight curling techniques that require twisting the hair into a roll or braiding it, because when your hair is fine, the twists will be very tiny and it'll create more of like a kind of frizz than an actual curl And it just it just won't come out good, so I recommend wrapping the hair or something for your heedless crowing methods. So, for example, my sock, bun curls will be perfect for that, where you just wrap your hair around a sucked on it or rack. Curls are perfect as well. You wrap your hair around piece of fabric. You'Ve got to dampen your hair in the evening. Then you wrap it around something which makes the hair curl shape. You leave that in overnight until the hair dries and then when you take out the curling device, then your hair will be curled. So I really like to do that whenever I want to have curly hair, but I don't want to use heat on my hair, alright. So now that my curls have cooled down a little bit, I'm just going to shake them loose, so that is quite a bit of added volume on the bottom already and now it is time to focus on the top of the hair here, the roots which is Probably the area where are you looking to get most volume, so I like to use a couple of different products to create a volume at my roots. First is try shampoo, obviously, I'm pretty sure you've all heard of this. It just works for some reason to create that little bit of extra volume in your hair and especially volumizing dry shampoos, work really well for that, and actually sometimes I just spray a little bit of dry shampoo throughout all of my hair. To give a little bit more texture and volume, but you don't want to use too much because it doesn't mess. If I, the hair, I always feel like shiny hair just looks a little bit better, but you can definitely just use some dry shampoo kind of like in the centre of your hair. It won't show, but it will add the volume so even lower and then on the sides here and then just gon na work it in with your heads. There is a lot more going for you again, but there is a lot more product which is did absolute best for creating volume in your hair, and that is volume powder. I have no idea how this stuff works, but you just kind of sprinkle this into your hair and massage it in it becomes really kind of I'm gon na be honest here. It had at least a very kind of nasty feeling and your hair feels dirty and you won't be able to run your hands through your hair as easily, but it does work magic. So let me just show you I'm going to sprinkle a little bit of this. My roots just here, sock it in a little bit here and kind of play a bit here now. Look at this difference. This is dry shampoo. Only this is dry, shampoo and volume powder. It just works so amazingly. Well, the grittiness, a kind of stickiness of the powder just helps hold your hair up and it works it works. So let me just do the other side of my head as well, so that I don't look so a symmetrical here and there you have it. These are some ways that you can make your hair look more voluminous, even when it's really fine. So I really hope you enjoyed this video guys. I hope you found it helpful if you did enjoy, don't forget to give any thumbs up and subscribe to my channel. If you would like to support me on patreon, I will have any description box. Thank you so much. I will have another video here that you may enjoy as well. You can go watch next. Thank you so much for watching, and I will see you guys soon in my next video I

Kirsten Paff: I unfortunately have the issue that my hair is so fine that pretty much any volumizing product makes my hair look stringy and unwashed. The texture of my hair also depends on the length and the humidity. If it is shorter than chin length and it is humid outside, my hair looks like I had a bad perm. Between chin length and just above the collarbone, it has some waves, which become more pronounced with humidity. By the time my hair hits my collarbone, or when the humidity is low, it is almost stick straight. I don't think my hair is capable of growing any longer than down to my collarbone, as it just breaks under its own weight at that point.

DustyDamsel: I feel like there is a difference between not having a lot of hair, and having fine hair. When someone has fine hair, each individual shaft of hair if very fine and thin. With coarse hair, each hair is coarse and thick, but you can still not have a lot of hair overall. So it's hard to say if the tips are for people with fine hair, or for people who don't have a lot of hair.

xxXCutiieeXxx: Totally what I was waiting for! I have a very similar hair texture to yours so I'm always happy to see what you can do with it ♥

Gomba13: The trick with overnight curling rather than curling with an iron when you have thin hair is to use bigger sections. Like for example if in a tutorial the person with normal volume rolls all their hair into 24 pin curls, a person with thin hair would roll all their hair into only 12 pin curls. The mistake many people make in tutorials is to tell people what size scalp area they should roll into a curl, but what really matters is the amount of hair in each section, not how many square inches of scalp it comes from.

Alelia: You should do a fall look-book!

wolf town: This was really helpful and informative thank you ❤️

Chelsea Anne: Try baby powder. I feel like it has a volumizing effect but I use it to make my hair free from grease. Plus it’s not expensive and you can get a huge tub! I personally use Johnson and Johnson’s lavender baby powder so my hair smells clean but not like a baby’s butt lol

Kim Davis: I have pretty much the exact same hair type and I've always wanted the super fluffy wavy look - the existence of volume powder just blew my mind

Ivvie: I have fine pin straight long hair and it barely gets volume when it's not freshly washed. I take runny hyaluronic acid face serum and spread in on my hands, flip my head over when my hair is almost dry at the roots even if the rest is soaking wet. apply close to roots and you get volume for days + it hydrates

Daiva Baniene: Hello and thank you for sharing all these tips. I hate my fine hair, so I am curling them all my life. I would like to know what kind of volume powder you are using in this video-your hair looks amazing! Thank you!

Pamela Manilla: I have super uncontrollable thick voluminous and frizzy hair , it's actually quite annoying, yet I am here watching this video because I adore you

Fontomia: Could you share with us your experience with hair loss and how it stopped? It would be very helpful!!

WelshIrishLady: Good tips. I have baby-fine hair and love Tigi's Queen for a Day spray. Amazing for giving me volume and texture!

Aleksandra Mądro: You're great! I'm thankful for all of your tips!

Kolibri Rose: Thank you for the great tips- i will try them out on my fine haired friend!

dsanchez08: You're always gorgeous and your hair is also gorgeous now. Have you had your b12 looked at? I am vegetarian since 2010 now and had a severe deficiency in b12 and iron as I thought the fortified b12 in soymilk, iron in greens and occasional multivitamin was sufficient for me. At any rate, I had a lot of hair loss which is just now thickening after 2 years of continuous supplementation of b12 and iron. At any rate, your hair is beautiful. I love your tutorials and your channel. Can't wait for your apartment tour!

paola radford: brilliant just what I needed x

HereIAm247: Wow, I haven't seen your videos in years until this one popped up, so much change! Your black hair was beautiful, but you look great with brown hair as well. :)

Vanesa López: Great tutorial!

momoyome: The dress/top you're wearing is gorgeous.

Tay: You are just adorable OMG. I love your hair color too. I have almost the same hair color however it doesn't have as much of a red tint. I love that. My hair is kinda fine but its wavy too. So its a mix of fine/slightly course and wavy. Its super thick to the point its a little hard to do any kind of hairstyle XD and volume is much harder than it should be to get. Layers, a girls best friend.

Marissa Sharp: Hi! I just discovered your channel. I have very, very fine, thin hair as well, so I’m always looking for ways to make it look thicker. I will try these techniques! Just love your voice! Are you a singer? You should be! You have a nice, melodious voice! Can’t wait to watch more of your videos! God bless you!

Wingedshadowwolf: Nice video! My hair doesn't like holding curls at all. I also think I molted when my chickens did! I lost a bunch of hair, but now I have lots of fine half length hair so it seems to be growing back.

Rani Singh: Could you share with us your experience with hair loss and how it stopped? It would be very helpful!!

Iris L: I had some pretty bad hair shedding not too long ago. And, I narrowed it down to stress and/or dry shampoo. So, I'm not going to attempt any spray based dry shampoo for a long while. I'm thinking about tracking down that video you did on DIY dry shampoo. But, thanks for the volume tips. I will go back to the sock bun over night trick.

FrozenUSA: I remember when you lost about half of the thickness of your hair. I believe you were given a Lush beauty shampoo bar to try out and review for your channel. At first I remember you loved it but the more you used it the worst your hair got. I think you have a video asking people if there was anything you could do to stop your hair from falling out. At the time you didn't know what caused your hair to do this, but when you systematically controlled for all variables, I believe you came to realize that this shampoo bar was the cause and that your hair doesn't react well at all to the chemicals it has. I to this day still feel horrible for what you are going through. I know someone who is going through a huge shed right now and he is freaking out every time he runs his fingers through his hair. His hair is about an inch or two from just beginning to touch his shoulders and he's thinking of cutting it all off and going back to his super short hair he had for most of his life. He has unbelievably amazing hair IMO and I keep telling him not to cut it off. He says it's more of a hassle than anything. He's also convinced he's going bald due to how much hair falls out every time he sheds. Everyone even professional hair stylists have said his hair is really full and thick and based on his family's history with really thick great looking hair he should be fine. In your case, I'm glad some of the thickness has returned, but you say that your hair grows slowly and it took years for it to get as long as it is now so I would hope it would be close to the same fullness in the future.

Chara Ayars: Loepsie! That wine color is great on you! Very flattering with hair/skin etc.

Shannon N: Do you have any affiliate links for the products you mentioned? Or an Amazon storefront? :) If not I’ll order them I just figured I’d give you credit and support you!

Mina: Woww this was quite helpful!!! ♥♥♥♥

BattyRae: me and my short hair are having difficulties with these methods lol

Nicole Fogle: What is the product you used to help hold the curls? I’m in the US, and I can’t find a similar to what you noted in the description... cause I can’t read the label ;)

Julie Kozlowski: I have some powder but have never used it. I have very fine and thin hair and use dry shampoo it's ok but doesn't give me the volume I crave I will have to give the powder a go. Thank for the advise.

Kimberly Charleboix: Will you add links to the products?

st. peter funeral: honestly I do not like having volumized hair, it makes me look like I woke up late and didn't even bother to brush it.

Naturalmente Ele: Love it

AlanaFounder Ⓥ: Burgundy is THE perfect colour for you. <3

Jagyoseni Mandal: You are one of my favourites

Fantastisch!

Ken Leung: On daily I set 130-150c to styling my hair if I have more time, only have special moment or 5-10 minuets I will set 150-180c I not higher up to 185c! Your hair can go lower maybe 160c can finish this process!

Aiqan Shahzad: how did you recover from your hair fall?

hopeful always: My hair is also fine thin hair. So one question as we know its hard to manage wavy fine hair...It scatters i dont like. So Please tell me, Do I need to straighten my hair permanant to style everyday

twominutetips: Even though your hair is fine - it still looks lovely and the bangs give the impression of it being thicker. Hairspray with backcombing works much better than sticky volume powder BTW.

Klaradhieux: hello , i'm french and your video are amazing!
