HardCoreCopper: I’ve tried this with knee socks before and I can testify that it DOES REALLY WORK! Just don’t straighten ur hair before wrapping it. That will set the hair straight and make it difficult to take a curl. Also! Don’t put too much product in ur hair first…that will make it heavy and weigh any curl that you do accomplish down. Loretta Knox: Hey Brooke! Before you put heat in your hair use a heat protection spray it will protect your hair. You can also steam curl your hair. You wet your hands and rub the moisture through your hair. because you have a lot of hair you should section the hair into three sections and curl it It will look great. Put a little argan oil on the tips of your hair to keep your ends from breaking. To stop breaking hair use a black tea rinse. It won't change the color. Make it like regular tea leave the tea on for 20 minutes then rinse it out with water.

I would straighten my hair just to do it(I swore of any heat, not my think plus I recently dyed my hair so heat and dye would ruin my pattern) you should try the sock method. It may be uncomfortable but the results are the most gorgeous thing if you do it right

Heartless is left that way ON PURPOSE because it doesn't take hardwork, sweat and TEARS to do this style .it's EFFORTLESS ( ALWAYS was a D.I.Y CHICK SO KUDDOS) My hack was pipe cleaners I used to curl my hair for years when I became natural and gave up the creamy crack! Never looked back..Test it out it does wonders too Tip: fold the tips in before rolling few strands to them to roll up for a curl and use moose conceal moisture and hold. Curlling set last up to two weeks!
