We did it!! We actually managed to upload this video, FINALLY!! 3rd time lucky!!
As you know, I love a twist out!! I posted some pics to Instagram and you guys seemed to love the twist out too!! So I thought I'd show you how I did it!
PRODUCTS I USED:
ORS Smooth n Hold Pudding - http://amzn.to/2s8mUvB
You don't NEED anything but your own wet hair!! That's it!! If you want to, add some oil or leave in conditioner, AND and setting lotion. I used Olive Oil Smooth n Hold Pudding as I feel it gives my hair a nice hold without getting stiff or sticky! I prefer setting lotion over hairsprays because hairsprays dry your hair out!!
Let your hair dry COMPLETELY before unraveling the twists. If your hair is not completely dry then it will forget all about the twists and just dry however it wants! It will take longer for your hair to dry the longer and thicker it is :)

You pretty much just need a wet hair for this look so section eight, I'm going to about eight twists all together, so I'm going to do eight sections so take the top part up and then, with this part that you get left with just make sure there Are no tangles in your hair whatsoever, so I'm just brushing from the bottom up with an afro comb just to get rid of any tangles. And then, if you want to you, can use some oil, I'm just using this just to keep in some moisture. And then you need to go in with something to set the twist, so I'm using this olive oil smoothing whole pudding. That'S about how much I use for a section of hair this size, and so I smooth that through and then I take my hair into three sections just like as if you were going to do a plat or a braid and then actually start doing a plat. So starting a braid - and this will lock the twists into your hair much better because still stop it unraveling and then start twisting. Okay, so take each section of hair all the way across the other two sections. So don't put it to the middle like what you would do with a braid. Take it all the way across okay. Can you see that I'm taking it all the way without all the way down your hair, make sure there are no tangles as you go along, you can keep smoothing out your hair as you go along to make sure that the curls that you finish with are Nice and smooth you, but both pieces of hair. I hope this makes sense you guys now altogether. I did about eight twists and I think that gives you a good sized twist, because if they're too big, then they don't work very well and if they're too small, then the clothes come out pretty tight. So it's completely up to you when you get to the last ones. You'Ll probably need to re-wet your hair, because you do need to do this on wet hair for it to work and then for the front ones. You can kind of make a flat twist and the way that you do that is you take three pieces at the top, the same as, if you're, about to do a French braid and you take pieces of hair with each twist the same as you do with A braid except you do it in the braid motion, so taking all the pieces of hair over to one side. I really hope that makes sense so you're doing the same as you do with a French braid you're taking pieces of hair every time but you're taking it all the way over to the other side of the hair, instead of taking it towards the middle. And then you can finish that off as well, and then you have your options. You can either twist it up into a little ball or you can leave it down. So I am gon na go to sleep, so I'm prefer to sleep with it twisted up. I also think that it makes the twists come out better because you can tighten it up and then roll it up, and it just means it a beanie on it and it will be fine. So I did that and now they are completely dry. So I'm ready to take them out. So you kind of just want to be as gentle as you can, or is a bit rough on that one. But if you just find the individual strands again and just unwrap them around each other and just remember to be, as gentle just keep doing, that with all of the strands remembering to be as gentle as you can with all of them. And I love them because they come out so defined like ringlets like ribbons and then we're done kidding we're then gon na go and separate some so still being gentle just separate them, where they would naturally be separated, so just find which piece of hair goes where On your scalp and just try to separate it like that, if that makes sense and just ruffle it around a bit as well, I'm gon na take an afro comb and I'm gon na flip, my hair over and I'm gon na start picking at the roots. And this is going to ruffle up the roots and create some volume and should get it looking a bit more natural like that. So this is pretty much. The final leg really really defined, curls really silky. Looking, if you want some more defined curls for your fringe, then just rewrite those again and you can either take that up in a pin curl twist it around your finger and pin it in place or you can do a mini twist. So I did both just to show you and you need to let those dry, and this is what a pin curl comes out looking like, and these are what the mini twist out looked like. So I hope you liked it you guys and yeah. This is a picture of this. Second, a twist out, I posted a couple pictures on my Instagram, and this was my hair on the fourth day. Quinn is awesome: Warning! I tried this with little longer than shoulder length hair. The two strands I was wrapping around the third curled nicely but frizzed out at the bottom (I couldn't get Bobby pins to stay so I used hair ties...) The middle strand however, didn't curl at all and was basically just a frizzy mess top to bottom.
