Hello, everybody and welcome back to my hair series. So today i am going to be trying robe curls the right way. I did try robe curls like eight or nine months ago, and they did not turn out very good. I will put images here. They looked kind of okay when i first took them out, but they just proceeded to get very messy and frizzy very quickly. Also, they just didn't look as good as what i'd seen. But i put this down to the fact that my hair was quite short and all one length. Whereas a lot of the videos and results that i'd seen were on girls with long hair with layers and often highlights which really like brought out the curls and made them look so much more luscious. So this time i'm going to be changing a few things. Obviously, number one: my hair is a lot longer now number two, i'm going to be using a thicker robe. This time i've actually got two thin ones, so i'm actually just going to put them together to make a thicker one and number three, and perhaps the most important difference is i'm going to be doing the curls in alternating directions. The best video that i found on it was shona scott, so that's the video i'm going to be following. So first i'm going to part my hair. I wonder actually, if it's better, to do a side parting rather than a middle parting. Do you know what i'm going to try a side parting, because i have a feeling it might turn out a little better. So i'm going to put one side of my hair out of the way for now. Apparently, it's better to do this on freshly washed and dried hair. I didn't quite have time to wash my hair today, but i washed it yesterday and it's just been roughly blow-dried like in a downward motion. That'S why it's quite straight so i'm gon na dampen it so i've got the middle of the robes i'm gon na put them in the center of my head. She clips it here. Oh no! Wait! I'M gon na try and do this as neat as i possibly can so that i can get the best results possible, taking the section directly behind the first section hold on. Oh no, it's a bit difficult with two ropes, not gon na lie. Hold on. Okay, see! We'Ve got it going in two different directions at the moment. Get out of the way again takes a lot of concentration. This i got it. I know what i'm doing now, by the way, guys if you're wondering where i got my watch from uh it's from nordgreen. They are kindly sponsoring this video i'll talk a bit about it later, but if you're struggling for gift ideas for him or her check the description discount code and link, if you want to get a nice watch for any of your family members or yourself, oh no. These little bits at the end are getting a little bit. Droopy might have to go back a little bit on myself, okay, yeah, that's done it! Okay! Oh my gosh, we're down to the easy part! Okay! So now we're just gon na continue to wrap it around. I'M gon na try and wrap these little end bits around as best as i can. I'M gon na secure this with a hairband. Oh, how did she do it? She did something funny she like did it like this? Oh yeah. She did it like this, so she didn't have to like pull it through the whole thing. Okay, all right! I hope that is good enough. That looks like i've done it right, i'm pretty proud of that. It'S pretty neat! What do you think? It'S currently 20 past two, but i'm going to spend the rest of the day at home with this in my hair and then i'm going to sleep in it and show you in the morning, but i'm first just going to try what shona did she actually crosses It at the back. I hope that will stay. Those little ties brought it up like this and tied it just to keep it like out the way which i thought was quite a good idea, and that's it. I think she said that she slept with it like down um, but if you're going about the house, you can wear it up or you can sleep with it up. I guess i'm going to wear it like this for the rest of the day and overnight. So i'll see you in the morning good morning, as you can see, i took an extra precaution and i wrapped my hair in a silk head scarf to try to preserve the hair as much as i could without it getting frizzy. I also had to clip back my bangs because they kind of came out. Oh dear, okay, i'm so excited, but i guess we're just gon na take it out where's my mirror. Okay, so she says to do it. Super gently! Oh it's looking interesting! So far whoa it looks good so far, whoa wow, oh my god, i'm excited! I'M excited! I tell you what, if this, you know what i'm gon na do, though i am going to be seeing if this will last for like tomorrow as well, so make sure you watch to the end god, oh god, no isabella don't ruin the curls. So this is what it looks like straight away. Obviously, i've got to like judge it up and sort it out a bit - oh my god, so apparently you're supposed to shake it and judge it. Okay, i'm gon na flip, my hair over whoa. Look at my bouncy curls, they literally bounce. How did i put my hair? I feel like the back. Won'T look as good, but i'll give you a look. How does it look hello? Oh wow? Oh, my god, it actually looks decent, so pleasantly surprised with how the back looks. It looks pretty cohesive. Now the true test, we're gon na, see how it holds up throughout the whole day, and i'm also gon na show you what it looks like tomorrow. So make sure you keep watching till the end so about the watch. If you've been thinking of buying a nice watch for yourself or a loved one, i'm going to tell you why nord green might be the best option to purchase from, especially if you're struggling for gift ideas. Now the beauty of this watch can speak for itself. But what i really want to talk about is how earth, conscious and forward thinking nord green, is as a company nord green produces high quality, durable, watches that are designed to last decades and the sleek and minimal design means they won't be going out of fashion anytime. Soon, not only that, but they are partnered with non-government organizations to support urgent global causes. For example, they provided more than 9 950 meals to people in need during christmas 2019 and they contributed towards the reforestation after australia's devastating bushfires. Last year they are a carbon neutral company, which means they plant thousands of trees to offset their carbon emissions and they're in copenhagen, which is considered to be one of the greenest cities in the world. Their packaging comes from responsibly, managed forests and the felt inside the boxes is formed using upcycled plastic bottles and they are working on transitioning to 100 recycled packaging, there's so much more that they do for the environment, including their giving back sheen, where a portion of your Purchase price can go to one of their three charities. So if you're going to buy a watch, i would highly recommend purchasing from a company that are supporting the environment. Therefore, nord green would be an excellent choice. I am so happy to promote nordgreen and, of course, you can get a discount with my code and make sure to use the link in the description and here's your daily reminder to recycle. Thank you, nord green. I love my watch and on with the video bear in mind, i don't have hairspray. I only have some hair serum, but honestly, i don't think it needs it right now. Look at that are you. This hair is good okay, but we need to sort out. It'S a little flat because obviously the band was laying flat across my head, so i feel like wherever you part it you want to actually when you wear it, do it on the other parting, so you get a little bit of um volume. Also, my hair up here is super greasy, so i might have to do something about that with some dry shampoo but holy moly, can you can you imagine if my hair is a bit longer how gorgeous this would look? I can't believe it worked. Oh, my my bra is showing i've just washed and dried just my like fringe at the front here, and i can't really get it to sit right. I'Ve just got back from the gym, so it was a bit rainy outside i did have an umbrella. I had my hair up in a ponytail, not bad curls are still intact. I didn't do a lot of like cardio and jumping about. I was doing like arms, so i was staying pretty still most of the time. There'S a little bit of funny business going on here. This little bit has strayed from the crowd and my fringe is starting to settle down. So it's getting a little frizzy, but that's kind of expected putting on coats and hats and going to the gym. But overall it still looks alright. Good morning, it's the next day i've taken my hair out already this morning. I wear it in a bun to bed, but it kind of fell out during the night and i was moving around quite a bit. So i feel like i've ruined it, but let's just take a look at it without me doing anything to it freshly woken up. Oh they don't look too bad. I'M actually really pleasantly surprised. I think they actually look better than yesterday. I feel like they've kind of dropped, a little bit, but obviously they're messier, but they're not actually too bad like. When i do my natural, my natural waves, curly girl method. They tend to be super duper frizzy, but like they're still pretty defined and for my hair type. That'S like a big achievement, my hair's getting a bit greasy, but i'm just going to see i'm going to add a little bit of serum and see if that can tame the frizz, i'm actually going to wash my hair today. So, there's not a whole lot of point in applying this serum, but i just want to show you if i were to wear this hair today omg, it looks so freaking good. I think this might be my new thing. Also. What i forgot to mention was that i did use a really good, deep, conditioner the day before, okay. So if i were to be wearing this hair today, this is probably how i would leave it obviously greasy at the roots, but i wouldn't wash it if you liked the video, please give it a like. It really helps me out and don't forget, to check out nord green watches if you are struggling for gift ideas or if you want to buy yourself a nice watch subscribe. If you would like to see more. Thank you so much for watching and i'll see you in the next one bye.

Isabella Demarko: It is currently too late to order Nordgreen watches in time for Christmas, But it will be an excellent gift for New Years', Birthdays, Valentines, or just treat yourself! shop here: https://bit.ly/3ktlsed with 15% off code: ISABD

Shonagh Scott: I was smiling the whole time as you got more and more excited with the results! That’s how I was Thanks for sharing my content within yours! Great job Shonagh x

lunair: I feel like we're hair twins...i have wavy hair, recently quit the curly girl method because it made me feel disgusting, and now i'm sleeping with socks in my hair every night to get nice heatless curls

REDinitial: Has been my favourite method this whole year. Piece of advice: - do NOT fluff up the upper layer, it can cause frizz. Do fluff up the inner layers for extra volume - Don't tie it very tight to your scalp, loosen it up a bit and you will have more volume in the crown area - always like to finish it up with some light oil, such as argan, on the ends - somehow it looks even better for me on the 2nd and 3rd after wash day, no one says you can only do it after washing your hair. I think of myself as some 50s lady, setting my hair overnight - Hair braiding always, always, always makes my ends look frizzy af, almost like I needed a trim 5 years ago and never got it. Maybe you have similar hair to mine, which is fine? - I also feel like it's helped my hair grow a lot, not just because I'm not using heat anymore, but also because I am wearing it in a protective style for so long. I do alternate the way I tie it and the parting to avoid any future bald spots or strain on my hairline.

Manpreet Singh: I like how she is trying to save the world and good luck on your hair journey!

Leanne Adams: I love this girl !!! I’m actually going to try this when I get five min. I work at the postal service and the holidays have been brutal on my hair.

ILoveBooks: I’m so happy for you every time your hair turns out good ☺️ great method, I’m definitely gonna try it out. It came out absolutely gorgeous on you ❤️

wonderrxo シ: Such a coincidence. I literally just finished her tutorial now I’m watching yours lol! Also, I escaped the Australian bushfires in the Adelaide hills and lost my home. Thanks Nordgreen for contributing that really means a lot.

hoosieraussis1: I'm so glad that you found a heatless way to work for your hair texture. Sometime heatless curl sets are the way to go with undefined wavy/curly/kinky hair. I have 4b/c hair, and flat twist outs (essentially the same style you did but more sections and without the towel) are my go-to for defined curls. Your hair looks great and day 2 looks good too. I wonder if you could get 3 days with a little hair spray or gel?

TheFuschiaDragonfly: "And they didn't look very good" Her curls: *are PHENOMENAL*

هجرس الفلاح: I was never really interested in the idea of beaty channels or ppl trying things or reviewing them but ur channel was really catchy for me. Keep going ❤️ Love from egypt

phoenix: I do have naturally curly hair but when I'm lazy or in a hurry I just wet it and twist it and keep it overnight and it really gives the most defined beautiful curls ever I really recommend and you don't need any rope or anything.

Sarah Christina: Ooooooh it looks soooo gooood!! Keep on doing that method I have naturally curly thin hair but I am also doing this to my hair because I just love how defined the curls become

Sammy Moore: Being suspicious in the mirror had me cracking up. I felt that ✨

Sharon Kim: Oh my goodness! I tried it out but I was half asleep and was doubting it because all the other heatless curls Ive done were not great. But in the morning I took it out and it was BEAUTIFUL! THANK YOU

Angie Thomas: I absolutely love this hair style on you . No fizz and the curls looked so hydrated and silky.

Lucie B: I remember telling you to do this a million times about a year or more ago. So glad you finally did it and found a way to wear your hair that is non-damaging and looks freaking awesome. I knew it would be great on your hair type. No more bad hair days for you. You need to make this your thing.

Mary Kurosawa: yes! im so happy you tried it, i loved this method. You look stunning as always hun keep it up ❤️

Esin Ceylan: Your hair has gotten so long! The curls turned out so pretty

Stella: This look so good, I'm soo going to try this! I had never heard of robe (curls before. The curls I get from scruncing my hair according to the CG method gives me such weird, square-ish curls. This looks so much better! I'll try this in combination with CG products.

Crissie Sanchez: Came for the hair content... stayed for the doll content ♥️ glad I’m subbed to you!

Maria Anna: I feel like i have to share this with you, since I found your videos so helpful. I have the same hairtype as you, even if I tend to be a little wavier. The thing that helped me the most was the Yellow keratin Liss treatment, which is an anti-frizz treatment . Not damaging, but a lot messy to do, it made the biggest difference for me!

reen: This is what I always do to make sure my curly hair looks better and manageable..literally how I tame my curls

The Thrifty Fawn: Hi Isabella! Your videos are relatable, I've been on hair journeys as well, over many many years. I've watched a few of your videos a while back (before I had my channel and/or a youtube account) and just subscribed this morning! I've been doing heatless curls somewhat similar to this using a combination of robe braids and flexi rods and have had similar and manageable results. Definitely love doing experiments now and then on a day off at home (especially in case they don't work out lol!) so would definitely love to give this one a try! Haven't gotten a chance to try robe curls, and I've seen Shonagh's video as well... both these videos have inspired me to give it a go! Thank you! Fawn ❤

Ali VanSickle: Oh my goodness! I've been following you since the beginning of your hair journey and this is so exciting for me to see!!

ytb40: It looks SO good! Love your gorgeous, bouncy curls, it suits you so very much! All the best to you, dear Isabella, and Merry Christmas to you, your family and your fans! :) :) :)

Victoria ˚୨୧⋆。: I also do the rope curls, and i get AMAXING results!<3

Josefine Oehlenschläger: That’s the exact same tutorial I use. I tried the trend when it became tik tok famous but it didn’t work for me. I found Shonaghs video and I love the method! Soooo good. You look beautiful with those curls. Thriving frizzy hair silky all over the globe!

Helena Sophia: OMG this is so easy and mine look soooo good, thanks for the tip

jk: You look amazing. I'm really happy for you that it worked so well! ❤️

Yasmin Silene: WOAH IT LOOKS SO GOOD ❤️ and its so effortless to style!

Carter fisk: I love how she replys to all the comments she can!❤❤

Lena: Hey Isabella, I’ve been following your hair journey since you uploaded the first video. I have heard of an ionic brush against static hair, if you still struggle with frizzy hair (like me) :D

Viktoria Wieser: So funny, this video is sponsored by nordgreen, I just discovered them a few weeks ago and treated me to a rose gold watch, I loooove the design!

sofia24: I love how you try things out for us! Also the Hermione caption... so true! I get the same thing.

Chloe Sweeney: Something that I have used for years now to help preserve and maintain curls bounce and their basic shape is Liz earles hair oil! you just put a small amount on your fingers and gently run it through and watch the curls bounce back! :D I always use this method with that oil on second day curls! I hope this helps <3

lucaey: hi, i know you might not see this but you’re an inspiration to me, the first video i’ve watched of you was your hair length story and it really made me think about my hair and all of those hair types. i’d also always had a passion for long hair and this year my hair grew waist length and i was really happy and wanted it longer down my hips but then after quarantine my ends went so thin with so much split ends and yet still super long soo i really wasn’t sure what to do but i then recently gained confidence and i thought that i have way better features rather than just my long desired length but not desired hair type so finally TODAY i cut it like the length you cut yours like cher horowitz and i really hope to take good care of it like you’ve been with yours and i’ll focus on the quality of my hair and with patience let it grow to how i want it:)

Valeo 8: This method is top for wavy hair and your hair are Amazing now!!! If you always use some really good bio product for the leave in and a really good product for the styling (maybe something not so heavy and that doesn't make hair look greasy) the frizz effect disappear!!!

lizzy Church: Your hair is looking nicely hydrated! I’m curious what finally worked to make it not look so dry????

Madi Kaplan: OMG! Your curls are gorgeous! If you don't mind braiding you hair in a robe every couple days you could make this your new hair routine! :D

Karen Ann: Girl.... great job... looking flawless as Ever ❤️

Chris Moore: it looks so lovely!! its funny because i do this same style but in a different way! my hair comes out looking light night and day

Shayna: I do this quite often and what helps it hold even better is if you put a bit of curling mousse in your damp hair after you've twisted it in place!

Rachel Ireland: It also helps to prep the hair with some curl defined or gel etc like a curly girl would. Really helps keep them frizz free.

erika.c: these robe curl look sick! have you tried *sock* curls? they have the same principle but you get a larger coverage so the back may be slightly curlier but what youve got going on now is great :)

TheCrazysingingurl: Her hair is naturally so pretty. It's such a pretty color. The curls are also so beautiful.

Linda Ørum Akosua Jacobsen: Lovely! I always wrap the hair around a satin/silk scarf. This makes removal super easy, as it pulls right out, without frizzing the curls. Then you gently separate them afterwards and style as wanted

mollycatrin: i think it turned out super good! i tried it too my hair is still a little too short but i’m gonna try it in a few months again when my hair is longer!

pretend_we_re_dead: you make it look so easy, while i end up braiding the cloth(??) into my hair. oh well, practice. you're pretty

Dana Perez: OMG IT LOOKS SO GOOD!!! You should try it the same day you wash your hair too, usually dirty hair holds curls better

Aesthete: I tried this yesterday and was really impressed by the results What a coincidence even you uploaded a video trying this! Tip: You can brush and separate the curls using your fingers, it kinda gives more volume and natural look.

Marian Reed: I get so confused when I do these lol, like it’s so easy to lose track of which strand you were folding around and I just end up completely flopping it. It’s sad to say I can’t even wrap hair around a band

Lena: Your hair is literally my hair, you SAVED MY LIFE with all your videos..❣️

Lucy in the sky: I've seen multiple girls use Shonah Scott and that's how I learned how to do it. And I sleep with it and use a silk head scarf as well. And fold the robe tie in half, that'll make it easier. My hair no matter what I do tends to get dry or frizz so to avoid the dry ends I blow dry it but leave it damp and add anti-frizz argan oil through my hair. It stays for 2 or 3 days sometimes.

Anisa 04: when i see you i literally every time think how good you would look with red ginger hair ‍

Vociferon Herald of the Winter Mist: I'm actually in shock that they held up so well to real life. I did not see that coming. I guess some setting spray would make them workable for an every day style.

grace: It looks beautiful!

Sanjana Supti: Your hair looks beautiful! I want to try it too... but the curls don't stay too long...and my hair at the crown goes all weird during this time of the year

S4MIR44: You should try out magnetic rollers, it’s what I use now instead of dealing with my natural hair. (Similar to your texture) It’s healthy and if you put it in a bun every night, it can last till wash day!!

Here Be Subtitles - Manumelita Ngamai: If you use a little mousse or something (find one that works for you) when you put the gown cord in, they last for much longer! Nice and bouncy for longer ^_^

Kim: Never tried this method, but Shona Scott has the best method!

Whitney G: omg thank you for this video. I have hair that goes past my butt and I'm always looking for ways to make it curly

PetDK: Your hair looks SO healthy! :D

Audrey Cabrera: I'm definitely gonna do this hack again when I go on another camp trip

Honey Bee: I’m so excited to try this

Viktoriya Medvedeva: There’s a start up of young women who made a product called the CURLING RIBBON that does these curls but more comfortably! They’re IG is “Heatless Hair” ans they were inspired by the robe curls. Basically they made a long padded string that you curl your hair around

Jessica C: She is fantastic and was a pleasure to watch her video!

Helen Altamirano: You’re so gorgeous without the makeup or with the makeup. God bless you sweetie.

bling bling: i hate dealing w my hair at this point i struggle just like you & i'm trying the curly girl method & it's seems to be working but still very frizzy

Maggie Moyer: Omg it looks so good! Ima have to try it

Ino.Black.Pearl: I'm so glad this worked for you!

Lottie Morton: Hi there good luck in your waistlength journey when I was 6 I wanted waist length and have a very similar story noe I have a boys haircut of very short pixie and I don't miss the wispy ends

Linda B.: It turned out so good!

mi: This has nothing to do but you're sooo pretty! and the curls suit you so well. I'm going to try this.

Jordan Co: your hair looks amazing!!

Fabrícia Pinheiro: That's almost how I do my hair (same "principle"). I usually wash it in the morning, and then I separate it in 6 sections (I have a lot of hair lol) and roll them in curls with my finger. Because my hair is a tiny bit wavier, it stays like this if it's wet (but when it was shorter I couldn't make it stay, so I used some rubber sticks thing to roll the hair around and clipped the ends on the stick thing). Then i leave it like that until it dries naturally, apply some serum and it's ready! This allows me to BRUSH my hair the next morning (I leave it in loosen braids for 20 min after) and the curls STAY!! They last about 2 or 3 days and then I wash my hair again.

Anonymous: Yeayyy! Your hair looks so good ❤

Mariam Elkholy: Thank u a lot for this!! Will cut my hair in a few weeks, why not have some fun with it before that right? Much love!!❤️❤️

Angela T: The curls will hold if you use a product to "set" your hair. Those of us that do the curly girl method and are wavies (which is essentially what you're making with this) know to use a curl gel or I prefer a stronger mousse if you have fine hair follicles.

Purrpurr: Is it just me or it actually looks like a cute hairstyle

Sussu: You have kinda similar hair as me. What helps me a lot when I do no heat curls, is instead of spraying with just water, I mix in apple cider vinegar. One part apple cider vinegar and 3parts water. It gives a lot of shine and takes care of the friz, the curls old a lot better. Huge game changer! Oh I definitely am gonna try out these curls. They look great!!

Meliestyle: Wow it really looks amazing!! Maybe I will try it too

Deetya Sanghai: Also...if you read my previous comment...this wont change your natural texture but will make sure your hair is not getting overly stripped of it natural oils. Love your content!!

Jeanne d'Arc: I love it even more after the gym and the next day!!

Dora Andora: Looks ✨amazing✨ and I wanna try it, but I know I'm too lazy for it...️️

graymayhem: If you’re planning to do this please tie the robe ends up while you sleep so they don’t strangle you. I had a strangling scare doing something similar as a kid. ♥️

Deirdre A: Commented this on your last video, BUT please try sock curls! I have naturally unruly wavy thick hair and it helps tame and form my waves/ curls

Sofia-Maria: I love it! And have yet to try this

D.: “She didn't, I imagined it.”

Amaluna: This is gorgeous!! I'm super curious about the serum you're using, I'd love to know what product it is! ✨

Melissa: Your hair looks amazing in the beginning of the video too

Elaine 's Unplugging the Player: What kind of serum did you use? It worked great. I have similar waves so I'd like to try it. Thanks.

Andrea Hernández: I tried this method and it dose work When I first started to do it the results were God but if you keep doing this like 2 o 3 times a week your hair will be better and better

Bal: The result is amazing

Solomon Shorter: I know this is late but if you do this again I recommend using a mousse or spray gel to give it hold and help with frizz

YanelArez: 1:47 why did I think those were scissors?? It scared me lol I was like "nooo why is she cutting it?????"

Hera Rogers: Me really trying to hold myself back from buying two robes just for the "strings" lol

Merida: The more I see you with that necklace the more I fall in love with it! So pretty

Aishwarya: CGM - air dry -- hermione 1st year Robe curls -- hermione 2nd year

Dharsh: Damn the side part looks hella good
