How To Top Knot For Short Hair Tutorial | No Heat Hairstyle

Hello all! With the need to find some more verity in my new short hairdo, I figured out a way to still be able to create my favorite "No Heat" hairstyle, The Top Knot!

I used this same technique when my hair was long to either add more volume to my top knot, or to create a fuller high ponytail.

The supplies you are going to need for this hair tutorial are two hair ties: some bobby pins, a hair clip some hair extensions, a comb hair spray and as an additional option, a hair accessory to start off. I'M going to be using my clip and clipping a front portion of my hair so that it isn't in the way for the next step I'm going to be, then I'm gon na be taking my hair clip and I'm going to be creating a little pony in The center of my head, which is where I'm going to be clipping my hair extensions as you can see it's just a little portion of hair there, that I am tying up and putting into a tiny little pony. Then I'm gon na be taking my first hair extension and then using a three left, hair extension from Bellamy and I'll list them down below and I'm just clipping them around the ponytail. If you can see there, I'm wrapping it around the tiny ponytail I have there. Then I'm going to be using a two weft hair extension and you can use whatever weft hair extensions you want, and you can also use this technique if you have long hair. If you want to do a long ponytail or have a more thick top knot, but I'm just clipping those in and as you can see, all my hair extensions are in there and then I'm going to be letting the rest of my hair out, which looks really Funny then, I'm going to be taking my other hair tie and clipping a bobby pin on both sides of the hair ties so that it looks like so, and this is a great technique for you to be able to tie your hair back. When you have a lot of hair, you don't want to mess up how you have your hair put together, so I'm just gathering my hair together on the level I want it at on my head and I'm just going to be putting one of the bobby pins Into my hair racking, the hair tie around and then securing it by putting the bobby pin into the hair as well. I'M also gon na be clipping some hairs around my bottom hairline, just because they are a lot shorter there and I want it to be a little bit neater and then I'm gon na be taking my hair and starting to wrap it around to create my top Knot and you just wrap it around and lay it how you want it to look and then start fastening it with bobby pins. You could definitely use another hair tie, but I just like how it looks better with bobby pins. Instead, it looks a lot looser and I'm also going to be putting a hair accessory around it later. So I'm just fastening it right now into how I wanted to then I'm just gon na spritz a little bit of hairspray to keep everything in place, and then I'm going to be putting on here accessory on and this hair accessory is from Ivy chick and the Style la in gold - and I just love this because it has little gold, spikes, slits, rhinestones on them and I'll leave them in the description box below. But I hope you guys enjoyed this video please like and subscribe and hope you all have a great day. Thanks for watching
