4 Easy Baddie Hairstyles For Short Hair | Louise Barnard | Coachella 2019

Hey guys, what's up welcome back to my channel, my name is louise Barnard. If you're new here make sure you subscribe today, we're gon na be doing festival, hairstyles, I'm trying out some new hairstyles because festival season is coming up. I have short hair and I feel like I never know what to do with it, because all the cute hairstyles are like these long braided styles and it's so hard to break short hair and make it look good. So these are some hairstyles that are kind of an alternative of braids and buns, but you know they still kind of have them incorporated so keep watching the first hairstyle we're gon na split our hair right down the middle oops with my nail. If you don't have long nails, you can use a comb. I literally like that's like the perks of having acrylics you're gon na, want to split it all the way down the back too. So you should have two halves and I'm just going to take my hair tight and just tie this half to the side. Just so I have it out of the way this side we're just going to come together and it's okay. If someone the front hair falls out a little bit and then I'm just gon na take a little elastic so just like one of these little rubber elastics and I'm going to put it around it and then the second time I'm just gon na bring it through. Like that, so you have like a little bun type hairstyle thing and then we'll do the same on the other side gather it all up, make sure it's like smooth down and like the key to this is that you want to make sure that they're, like even So you don't want one to be like way in front of the other. So let's see I'm just really make sure. Okay and then the same thing you'll take your elastic, wrap it around once the second time bring it back just kind of like that. So then, you should have two little kind of like spiky buns and you can kind of like pull hairs out. If you want them to be a little bit more messy like that, and then in the front, we'll just take out these little hairs just to kind of give it a more messy look cuz when I think I'm like festival, hair cells, I always think of like Not super polish, just kind of like effortless all right, so here's the first hairstyle cute chic. It'S messy and super super easy, alright. So for the next hairstyle we're gon na keep our hair split down the middle. So it's all good, so you're gon na take from your temple so right here and you're gon na take it up to the corner of your height up here like that. But this time you'll take the elastic like this and on the second time, you'll loop. It around and you'll want to bring this through. So this is the tricky part, so you want to make it into like this little knobby bun. Can you see how it's kind of like a little naughty bun? So then you'll do that same thing. On the other side, take you from your temple up make sure it's at the even line with your other bun. Take your elastic all the way through second time, you kind of want to build that little bun at the top, and then, of course, I always like to do those little hairs in the front. I just think it gives it a little more messy cute. Look like that will lack your style number two again. Super easy only requires two elastics super super easy. The next hairstyle is again super easy you're going to take all of the top part of your hair, and it doesn't have to be perfect just kind of pulling it up and if you need a little extra hair just you know scoop a little bit more. If I'm like with my short hair, I can like barely make a bun, so okay, so then we're taking the elastic wrapping. It all the way around twist and then the second time we're going like this twist, pull this around tuck it back in and secure it with the elastic you might have to play with it a little bit because it might start to look a little crazy. It'S so hard to do buns when you have short hair, but this is kind of like a little pretzel bun. It'S not like a perfect round bun. I like it a little bit Messier because it is a festival hairstyle. So I think it looks cuter when it's kind of like not as super perfect and then again I'm going to take hairs. I'M going to take some from the side down here and just all around the hairline, I'm just gon na pull out little pieces of hair. Just to kind of give it that effortless, oh yeah, I just toss my hair up type of look and it also pulls out the bun a little bit, which makes it just look super cute up here, because it makes it a little bit more messy. Here'S! The third hairstyle, okay, so the next hairstyle. This is probably one of my favorites just because it's super easy and it kind of looks like a braid. So if you're not like super good at French braiding or you just start too lazy. Like me, this is a great alternative, so we're splitting the hair down the middle you're gon na take the hair at the front and you're just going to start twisting it and, as you twist you're gon na take hair from the top and bring it into the Hair so you're just twisting it like that until you have it all the way back, you'll take your hair tie and just secure it, and the rubber will hold it in place like you want to make sure you use a rubber hair tie for this, because other Hair ties might not hold it in the twisted position. You can kind of cinch it up a little bit like that same thing on the other side start twisting make sure you're adding more hair as you go along and don't worry about it, not looking. Even while you're doing it because it's always able to be fixed afterwards, you can see it. It kind of looks a little and even like that, and you can pull out little strands in the front too. If you like that, look, if you have like a bigger forehead, sometimes that looks cute because it disguises your forehead more and I like this because it feels really secure and it kind of I mean it - doesn't really completely look like a braid, but it kind of Resembles a braid at the top, so it's like a nice alternative, but yeah.
