When I say shrinkage is real girl, this is what I mean. Shrinkage is real. Hey guys, welcome back to my channel new root nachos in today's video I'll, be showing you why safely moisturize and blow out grandma's hair on all her visit, like I've, never styled her. Here, while it is wet, I always stretch it using heat and I'm going to show you how I managed to retain most of her lint, even though I'm doing that so first, you see me adding some oil to her scalp. This is moisturize nurse pop. I'M going to give her a scalp massage to stimulate her follicle to stimulate blood flow to the hair follicle, and that will help to promote more hair growth. I like to do this on our visits as well, so this oil blend is My Rosemary and ginger. Oil blend it has peppermint in it, as well as a little bit of castor oil. It has vitamin E oil and so many other good stuff in it. So I'm just gon na massage it into her skull and once I'm done giving her the scalp massage I'll. Just go in with my other product that I'll be using on the hair shaft by the way guys. This video is part three in a three-part series of how I care for Grandma's natural hair, how I help her to retain length. A lot of person have been asking well when my hair has grown so much. What do you do so? I made an attempt to do step-by-step video in that time, not to make the videos too long. I did it in part, so in part one. I showed you how I took down wash deep conditioner here in part two. I show you always safely detangle the hair. I know in part three, I'm showing you how I moisturize and blow dried her hair. What you see me applying to her hair now is the mango bottle. This is my DIY mango butter recipe fortunate before you. I did make a video on how I did this, so you can definitely check out my DIY playlist, also I'll link it at the end of this video. If you can't find that, but this product will help not only to moisturize our hair, but also to act as a heat protectant for her natural hair because I'll be blow drying, it's a little bit rough in terms of the smoothness and that's just because I was Hurrying when I was making this product, so it's a little bit chunky. Hence why I'm using it for blow drying once he touched this product on her hair. Everything is just gon na melt in it. So when you do make your own mango butter ensure that you mix it out really smooth, I mean eventually it will melt, but you don't want these chunks in your hair anyway, unless you plan to use heat on it. So that's a tip from me to you. So guys, I'm just working in the product - and this is really important - I'm not just putting the product over the edges over here or just rubbing it where it's visible, I'm really going in there and massaging the product making sure that our ends get the product. All the parts of her hair get the product. This is really critical for protection purposes, all right foreign. So once I finished sectioning her hair, I'm going to go through with my yellow bird blow, dryer on the lowest heat setting notice that I'm using the comb attachment, and I'm only doing this because her hair was thoroughly detangled before and notice. Also that I'm stretching her hair so to use the blow dryer, I'm starting at the ends of her hair and also working my way up to the scalp area, while keeping her hair stretched as possible. Now this is important because, like you can see, her hair is really coily, like most people here, that has Type 4 here, her hair is coily and even though it's thoroughly detangled in order for you to preserve as much length as possible, if you're gon na use A comb attachment at all make sure that you keep the hair stretched so as the coils don't bounce back on themselves and make it more difficult to go through because that can cause breaking and you definitely want to start at the ends always start at the ends. And gently work your way up, so I'm starting with the low heat setting at first and once her hair is almost dry. I'M going to turn the heat up a little bit to get it a little bit straighter than normal, but I don't want to use high heat constantly on her hair until it is straightened, I'm not trying to straighten her hair thoroughly. I'M just trying to read it right and stretching it keeping it stretched. This is a tensional method will allow me to use less heat on her hair while I do the blow drying process. So, that's why I'm doing this all right foreign, this process for the rest of the hair. I won't change anything, but I also need you to note that my hands are constantly following the blow dryer. Once I put it on the high heat, I use my finger as a marker. I use my hand as a marker to determine whether the hair is getting too hot. I wanted to get into what I'll switch the heat setting once more and that's why, from time to time, you find my hands running up and down the hair. I'M not doing it now because I'm using the lowest heat setting just to get the additional moisture out and then afterwards, you notice all that mango butter melts melted away. You just melted in the Strand and her hair is looking so much more. You know moisturized and relaxed, so once you see me following the blow dryer up and down with my hand, I have turned on the hot settings like what you see me doing now and I'm definitely checking to see if the hair is getting too hot. Another thing that I need you to make note of is also that I'm passing the blow dryer through her hair relatively quickly, I'm not resting the heat on her hair, I'm just passing through keeping her hair stretched passing through this video was done in real time. I'M not speeding it up, I'm not slowing it down all right foreign once I'm finished with each section, I'm just going to twist it out of the way, because here it's very humid and this type of hair will definitely revert on itself so guys this is the Finished product I did the other side off camera to save the length of this video, but pretty much you'll get the hang of it now remember what I said at the start of the video shrinkage is real. Let me know in the comment section: if you've had it here and oh often what you use for heat protectant. I tried to do the parts like you did but I got confused when I got to the top portion of my head. Please do a video explaining your parting method on all sections of the head.❤
