Hi everyone marguerite here today. I want to share with you guys how to get these natural beach waves at home without going to the beach without using hairspray or gels or even without using heat, and what I use is coconut milk and coconut milk is so awesome for your hair. It'S a natural product that is over-the-counter, you could put it in your hair, I use it as a setting lotion and it's so awesome for your hair because it gets rid of frizz. It puts moisture back in your hair and it makes you hair extremely shiny and it puts just nutrients in your hair, and I also wanted to use coconut milk because it I wanted the aroma of like a tropical island and beach waves to go along with the Beach wave then setting my hair every night like this, because I love it so much and the coconut milk is so awesome for my hair and I just every morning I get compliments all the time. Oh, I love your hair, your hair as awesome as your hair. Naturally, wavy like that and so yeah, so I get so many compliments. I had to share it with you guys. I hope you enjoy stay tuned thanks for watching. Ok, so I like using the Roxy brand of canned coconut milk, because it's not as thick as the other brands, so it sprays out a little bit better than the rest. I got the Roxy Brown at a Mexican market if your coconut milk is too thick simply add equal parts of water and coconut milk. That'S what I like to do when I use other brands, but I find Roxy has the best consistency. If it's too thick, it won't spray out of the spray bottle is good, so you simply wash your hair and while your hair is still wet, you want to create a zigzag parting down the center of your hair, so that you won't have a pronounced parting once It dries and I'm just using a wide tooth comb to make it easier, shake and spray generously on your hair and you can brush through so that it's evenly throughout your hair. Now I'm going to make a braid on each side and I'm just going to add hair to the middle section of the braid. Until I can't anymore and what's important to mention, is when I braid, I snug the hair as I braid for more pronounced waves, I feel if the braid is not snug, your waves won't be as strong and they will appear more loose. So it's up to you. I also make sure I brush my hair: is I braid for smooth waves once it's dried once you get to the bottom and you reach a point where your hair is uneven? I simply resection so that the three strands are even and I continue to braid all the way down, so that I won't have straight ends, and this will help make your waves look more natural. Then I just do one last braid, and so I won't look like Laura Ingalls. I bring one braid to the side because I seriously will run errands like this without looking too crazy. This is actually kind of a cute hairstyle. Not so bad or you could just go straight to bed and your hair should be dry in the morning, and this saves me tons of time getting ready in the morning because I just take out my braids and I'm good to go. Hopefully, you guys could see the shine in my hair. For me, this is really shiny and the very last step is to flip my hair only once, and also I want to - let you guys know do not comb or brush your hair afterwards, because you are literally done if you brush or comb it'll, just become poofy And this is just the look that you want really pretty Beach, wavy hair and you don't even need a product in your hair afterwards, because the coconut milk will provide frizz free shine. So I hope you enjoyed how to get natural beach waves at home and please like this video if it was helpful in any way. I want to give you guys a product review of the new, a vino pure renewal, shampoo and conditioner and

Amy Turnbull: If I braid my hair when it's damp it never dries, so annoying

April Romo: Your hair does look amazingly shiny and healthy! Thanks for the tip

Danyelle Sada: The best, most helpful, plus the simplest video I've watched on beach waves. I'll be doing this tonight. Thanks xoxo

Lucrece von Kasm: Finally found suitable coconut milk! Results are amazing! Thank you so much for the tip! xx

princessjoots: Hey, I do this routine with my hair too, (but without the coconut milk) and I find my hair is still wet in the morning, so I sometimes leave the braid in for two nights! (And a day!) I find if I take the braid out before it's completely dry, the waves don't stay.. the weight of my hair just pulls them straight. Do you find that yours is completely dry after only one night?!

Genesis Serrano: Thanks this is amazing! And your hair is wow! I'm aiming for mine to be that long!

My Hairstyle Magazine: Hi it depends on your hair type, coconut milk gives you a slight bit of a hold where coconut oil wont give you a hold but it will still give you the braided effect in the video if your hair can hold a curl well. hope this helps and thanks ! ;)

Art by Madison Kurz: excellent job girlie, looks great! I have naturally curly hair that I absolutely don't like so I will give this a try.

TheHcGamerGirl: Loved the video :) Worked great on my hair ^-^

Hope Z: I have really curly hair (moroccan) and it worked for me too!!!!! I got exactly the same waves. So if you have really curly hair, then this will turn it wavy!! And I've got a tip, if you want the waves to be a little bit tighter, then you should do more braids on each side! thankyou very much! lot's of love from the Netherlands

Megan Dougherty: Can't wait to try this! Your hair is lovely. Thanks:)

Terriiiiiiiiiiiii: I do this! If you do a french braid starting at your hair line and going down the back of your head rather than down the sides, the curls have lots more volume :) Also, I don't use coconut milk, what exactly is that for?

VampireNightmare1: Or braid it when it's damp but not completely dry, more in the middle, with the coconut oil or milk depending on what you choose of course, it will help it hold. It depends on your hair type and when you wash and braid your hair.

My Hairstyle Magazine: Thanks brandy I tried a few different things until I found what worked. Thanks for watching and for your sweet comment! :)

Lucrece von Kasm: Genius! Thanks for the tip, will try and let you know how I got on! xx

Sparkly Stones: Great Tutorial!! I loved it :) Subscribed!! :-)

Avery Brooke: I LOVE YOU! this works so well and your so pretty and you seem really kind <3

My Hairstyle Magazine: thanks ! I like to do them the night before for fresh waves/curls so they are fresh they will only last a day so just braid the night before you need them or every night ! :)

My Hairstyle Magazine: Thanks ! I just share what works for me, from trying different things, and share them with all of you! Its fun for me :)

My Hairstyle Magazine: yes but if you use coconut oil use very little or your hair will be greasy :/ but it works good too!

lilbowlby: yes i have very think and medium to long hair :D and it worked beautifully on mine!

Bayley Sirmon: I did this last night and have had the waves all day and I love them! and I want to have them tomorrow, how do I keep them up?

Blanca Stucki: I'm trying this right now!!! :) Thanks!

Caitlin Aissami: Coconut milk is a great idea... I love that it's all natural, thanks for sharing!

Amit Weltman: gorgeous hair and you are really gorgeous inside and out, ignore the mean comments. how do you get your hair so long?xxx love the video

My Hairstyle Magazine: I will add this to the list of future videos for sure ! :)

LAMakeupAndFashion: this helped me a lot thanks love your videos

Magicisclosebehind: Wow! Beautiful! Thank you for sharing

lyn torcs: hi gurl! i just want to ask, if ever i will use cold wave solution and neutralizer instead of coconut milk, will i achieve this kind of curls permanently? my hair is super straight eversince and i really love how it turns out to your hair...i'd like to make it permanent for me...thanks a lot!^_^

Dora Sosa: I love your videos!!! thanks for sharing :}

Poliana Condila: To stay longer you should keep the braids more until the hair between braids gets 100% dry. For example you can wash your hair tonight and undo the braid tomorrow in the evening, it's unpleasant to stay much time with the braids in hair, but for me it resists some more. And it is very important not to touch your hair than when you unwrap and place it somehow. Success!

Shannon Craig: how often do u wash your hair? and have you got any other tips on how you keep your hair so beautiful?! xx

tgirl26x: Just a quick question about the coconut milk, do u refrigerate it (in the spray bottle) until ur next use?

Derieri: Does the coconut milk affect you natural hair? Does it make it straight? I heard that some natural products do make it straight. I have wavy hair and I want to try the coconut milk but I dont want to loose my wavy hair. What does the coconut milk make you hair look like? Does it still make it seem like its wavy or does it loose its waves?

VampireNightmare1: If your hair is still wet in the morning then you can try blow drying it while its in the braid. Or, you can shower/wash your hair earlier so it has more time to dry.

Berklee Huff: is there anything else you could use instead of coconut milk?

My Hairstyle Magazine: :D yeah its great for hair, helps reduce frizz and helps moisturize your hair ! :D

Laytce ghee-price: Is there something else we can use other than coconut milk?

My Hairstyle Magazine: yes it's very good for your hair! :)

Merissa Elena: Does coconut oil work as well as coconut milk?

Kelsie Davis: can you use coconut oil? i hear it's also good for your hair p,s you're really pretty

My Hairstyle Magazine: Thank youuuu! :)

Loren Jones: OMG! This has changed my life FOREVER!

Courtnie Rouse: I didn't know anyone else did that with their braid. When I braid my hair if I run out towards bottom I take another piece out of the leftovers and continue the braid.

Cassy Grum: If you French braid going towards the BACK of your head, instead of straight down the side, you would have that funny un-wavy part in the back center of your head. It will look a million times better! Try it that way if you can, and let me know how it turns out!! :)

My Hairstyle Magazine: your welcome ! thanks for watching ! :D

My Hairstyle Magazine: I would say 3-4 days in a spray bottle placed in the fridge. I feel like the canned coconut milk works best . :)

bubblegum082: So pretty!

TwinkieToes: I didn't know you could leave coconut milk in. I use it as a deep treatment.

Kayla Natalia: My hair is naturally straight with long bangs to the end of my chin. This used to work for me when my bangs were still short and sideswept, but now whenever I braid my hair my long bangs turn out looking awkward and only the ends of the bangs are wavy :/ do you know any way I could braid my hair and my long bangs and make everything equally wavy?

Ciera Gonzales: does it matter what kind of braid you do?

Natalie Bruner: I love diy beach spray always works for me. :) Check out my last video for beautiful no heat overnight curls that are similar to this but even easier! All you need are two hairbands.

My Hairstyle Magazine: funny I was just thinking I would love if I could get this look permanently too! but you know how I don't brush or comb my hair afterwards, well that's why the waves/curls look so defined. to treat this as a perm you would have to find a way or product to define the waves/curls every time after you brush your hair to get the same exact effect.so for me I feel it's best not to add wave solution because wave solution will cause automatic damage plus another product to use to get the same effect.

Katie Macormic: coconut-leave it in for 3 minutes then rinse with as cold water as you can handle or add oil everywhere except tips for all hairtypes including oily=)

My Hairstyle Magazine: great tips !

lillian nu: You are soooo pretty and you have nice personality (: keep on being perfect. Subscribed. (:

Hannah S: how long do they waves last?

Suyapa Opina: I put coconut milk last night and may hair was so SOFT the morning after. I did put a generous amount. I hope this help someone.

Noor: just subscribed and liked i am DEFINITELY gonna try this

Marcela Hernandez: Can you use almond milk?

Eliane Liu: Lindo!

E. Klab: Do you have to use coconut milk?

Iona Williams: Do you refrigerate the remaining coconut milk?

Milagros Robles: Does the coconut milk get sticky on your hair?

My Hairstyle Magazine: nice to hear thanks! :)

jdphd: Everyone interested watch this INFORMATIONAL VIDEO. It was great someone thought of making a video on what can make the hair shiny.

Lynnzee Morrison: Do I put the rest of the coconut in the fridge or something after ?

My Hairstyle Magazine: Thank you !!

kayla paige: does the coconut stuff make it oily?

Ang Labam: Wow this is amazing im gonna try it nw hahaha thank u sooo much:D

TheInfamousBrii: How do you maintain your beach waves overnight

Layla Guerrero: Do I have to use coconut milk or can I just braid it

lyn torcs: ikr! you're like a billabong girl when you have this kind of hair (for me^^)...looks refreshing but very high-maintenance..my best friend used to braid my hair and love how it turns out when i untie them..about the product you are saying, do you have any suggestions for that?..or maybe you can make a tutorial in the future on how to make this kind of style permanent?...i really appreciate your time replying to me^_^

Tara Christler: Does it have to be coconut milk?

Nancy McEnroe: Did you use a hair tie to secure the bottom ends of your braids? I didn't see anything when you did the braid, but it looked like you were taking something off the bottom of your braid when you undid them. I'm thinking my hair will come unbraided if I sleep on it. Thanks for any help! Looks great and I really want to try it.

Stephany Gonzalez: So how do you store the coconut milk... Like do you leave it out or put it in the fridge?

kaylen carilli: does this work with layers?

Isabella Mancuso: Better to use coconut OIL but only on ends not near roots or ur hair will look greasy. I love it. I have tons of frizzy hair. Its magical.

anjalina sandate: will coconut oil work?? :)

Sheblu Green: I'm gonna try this(:

My Hairstyle Magazine: no I used it because it just helps calm frizzy hair :)

animalmonster15: ur hair looks SOOOOO pretty like that

Emily1220dehoff: Um ok... Does it still work without the coconut oil?

Julie Sia: is it hard for you to braid it cause its so long?

hannahbanana6666: Does your hair fall easily when you curl it? An if it does... Does it do it with this hair styles?

My Hairstyle Magazine: thanks so much for your happy feedback :)

Olivia Turner: Does this work for black hair also?

My Hairstyle Magazine: Thank you !

Brandy La Madama: Beautiful...ur so creative Margaret!

Sana Fatima: coconut milk is good for your hair as it makes it look good, smell good and they are no chemicals in this coconut milk!!!

liferush3: You have amazing hair. Thank you for sharing. Also you have a sweet countenance. :)

Raigen Huss: Looks a lot better on hers, really long and no layers. My hair is medium length with lots of layers, I'm not sure it would do the same thing.

selena vallejos: Braiding hair when wet damages it because your hair snaps and sounds like a rubber band when braiding it wet would recommend it being dry if not damp

kamryn crague: when you flip your hair doesn't it fluff???

Luka Scout: Oh my gosh thank you so much I will go to the store to get coconut milk thanks

Mayra Rivero: Does it have to be that specific braid?

Zamantha Valdehueza: Your hair is so pretty and you're pretty :)

jackie medina: do u need to use coconut milk??

jessica gonzalez: Whoa. That's super long hair! *_*

Deborah Hill: Her hair is so beautiful.
