In this hair tutorial, I’m going to show you how to do get these overnight heatless curls for medium long hair. These bouncy curls are very long lasting, and they add tons of volume to your hair! I love that over a course of a day or two, the curls will loosen into big soft beachy curls/waves. This curly hairstyle is perfect for any casual or special occasions such as school, dances, dinner dates, weddings, and bridal events. I bought 2 packs of the foam stick rollers (found out that they're called "flexi rods!" :)) for only $2 at Dollar Tree, and I’ve been reusing them a lot. It’s such a cheap and easy way to curl your hair without heat, and this will work for many types of hair. If you’d like to have smaller, tighter curls, then you can try the thinner foam sticks. Hello, everyone welcome back to another heatless curling hair tutorial.. Today, I’m going to show you how to get these beautiful bouncy and voluminous curls. They’re very long-lasting and best of all, you can do these curls overnight.. What you’re going to need are these foam? Stick curlers.! You can get them for a $ 1 for a pack at Dollar Tree or you can buy them at Wal-Mart or your local beauty, supply store., They’re, basically thick wires, enclosed in a foamy tube, so they’re, bendable and flexible.. Once you get your hands on these, we can get started. Begin by clipping up your top layers and divide your bottom layers in half. Heatless curls work best when your hair is slightly damp, so spray it with some water.. If you’ve just washed, your hair, then wait for it to be about 80 % dry before you try this method.. What you’ll do is grab a section of hair and wrap it around your foam curler.. If you have layers falling out just wrap them back on., It may take some practice, but once you get this down, you can get it done very quickly.. When you get to the base of your head bend, the two ends of the foam: stick to hold your hair in place, and it should be secured. Pretty simple. Huh Continue this with the rest of your hair, making sure to wrap it in different directions. So your curls will look more natural.. These foam sticks come in different sizes. So if you have shorter and thinner hair, then I would suggest trying the thinner sticks.. I used 12 foam rollers in total, but you’ll probably need more if your hair longer and thicker. Once your hair is all up, you can go to sleep with this overnight. Wait for a few hours.. I took a nap and the foams were actually comfortable to sleep. On., When your hair is completely dry, you can remove the foam sticks and you should have some bouncy curls.. These foam rollers are reusable, so be sure to save them for another time., Your curls will be tight, so take a few minutes to separate them with your fingers and fix them to how you’d like and you’re done. This curly hairstyle is very long. Lasting and I’ve been doing it at nighttime, so I can wake up with beautiful curls in the morning. Here’s a picture of the time I did it overnight and after nearly 2 days the bouncy curls loosened up into these big waves.. These effortless curls are perfect for school and work, so I hope you’ll give this tutorial a try.. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions of what heatless curling method. Anna Fink: Here's a tip: If you don't want your curls to be so Shirley Temple-esque, try twisting the section of hair before rolling it up. Twist the hair as if you're going to start a rope braid. I feel like it gives it a more interesting texture than just wrapping it flat around the barrel. :)
