Testing Octocurls Heatless Curls -Short, Medium & Long Hair

Hey guys so i'm coming to you from my bathroom on my iphone because my memory card broke and yeah. This is just not starting off good, but hopefully it turns out good um. Today i wanted to review the octo curls heatless curlers is what they look like. It literally looks like tentacles, not sure how i feel about it, but let's go ahead and get into it. So basically, what you're supposed to do is wear this around your head and just kind of like wrap your hair around it, and you can see it has these little loops, so it's nice and secure at the bottom. So there is a little spot where you can make it tighter make it looser um. You can see that right there, so these are silk so they're supposed to help with frizzy hair. They did have cotton ones, but they're sold out of the longer size and the short looked like really short. The short look like if you have hair from your shoulders above so i didn't want to waste my money and i wanted something that would work. So this is the length that i got so my hair's already been brushed. I did shower today, so i would say right now: it's about 97 dry, so i'm just gon na put this bad boy on. I can tell you right off the bat i do not like the fact that the curl is going to start here. I like for my curls to start up here all right, so i'm just going to take a section and just wrap it around it. For the first couple ones, and then i'm gon na do a different technique on other ones. Unfortunately, my hair does not reach the bottom all right, so i'm just gon na tie it. Okay, that works so looks a little something like this okay, so i'm just gon na speed this next part up, because i was babbling too much okay, so for this one, i'm gon na do a little crisscross applesauce. So i'm gon na split my hair into two and just kind of take it underneath and then over crossing them and then taking it underneath and then over crossing them, so basically just kind of making like little x's and yeah we'll see which curl turns out better. I'M just going to do that same type of curl for the next one too um, i'm just going to wrap this around look on their website real, quick and see. If there's like a different way to do it, so here's the microfiber ones i was talking about you - can see they're both 27. That'S what they look like um, the microfiber ones, actually look really comfy a lot comfier than the silk ones. But here are the different techniques: you can see the wrap around and then they have this like coil one which i'm gon na try, because that looks very interesting and then kind of the same thing right there too. So let's use this one up here. So i'm going to wrap it around and then i'm going to kind of ball it up and just see what it does exactly sure how they did it. So i'm just going to hold on to the end and wrap it around and then just take this and secure it. So i decided to do another coil right here. I'M not sure what it's going to look like, so i just wanted to do two in case it looked really bad wrap it around. I think everything is good. Everything is secure, so this is taking about 12 minutes to do. If you saw my robe curls video, where i just use like the robe belt, wrap my hair around super easy super effective, so it is about 8 30 at night, and i'm gon na have these in until probably 6 45 um, seven so cross your fingers. It looks good and yeah i'll see you guys in the morning hey guys, so it is the next day, and this is what we look like. I just did my makeup. It'S about eight o'clock, so i slept in these for a long time. Um. So we're just gon na take them out and see what it looks like they weren't the most comfortable to sleep in. I will be completely honest. I am a side sleeper, so it just wasn't that comfortable. Unfortunately, i would give it a 5 out of 10. if you're a back sleeper, then you'll be just fine. Let'S go ahead and just unravel these, oh so that, like already came off all right, pretty pretty i'm interested to see what, like some of these, that i did differently are going to look like, so i did these ones kind of looser, so not bad. Like i said, i hate that it, the curl is just not very curly up here like it seems to be tighter at the bottom, so this one was the crisscross applesauce um. I don't like that one! Oh, i don't know what do you guys think? Let'S do this side, so this one was the one that we rolled up. Oh, i like that one look at that: wow, hmm, okay, okay, right here, look at my son he's in a sleep sack! Oh look! How curly that one is cool! Hmm, all right is that all of them, oh, so that is all them. So this is what it looks like. What do we think i mean. Obviously i need to like rake my fingers through it and just kind of fluff it out not too fond of these pieces. I think this side turned out better okay. I love this curl, i'm just going to take my fingers and we're just going to kind of separate it all. I would say i definitely like this side better. I, like this side, better versus this side. I would definitely need to go in and curl some of these pieces like up at the top. I don't like how it's like flat and straight, and then i don't like that. So this side was a no-go for me, but this side we could definitely so i had to cut right to where i'm showing you the curls, because my son was getting a little too loud, but this is what it all looks like. So i do want to note the side that looks better is the side that i did do the coils on and then i also did tighter just like where i wrapped my hair around. I did that a lot tighter than the other side, so i think that definitely made a big difference. So if i had to do these again, i would do the one where i wrapped it around and then coiled it, and i would do that all around my head. I think that would turn out gorgeous honestly. This isn't that bad i mean for heatless curls. It'S pretty good, i look at him already waving by. He says i know the drill bye-bye. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
