Two Ponytails On Natural Hair | Holiday Hairstyle 2019

Hey y'all is your gray, hair Shanae back with another video. So today I am going to be showing you how I got this cute two ponytail look on my natural hair and this is a holiday hairstyle. You can wear it on New Year's Eve or just any festivity so to help form our ponytails. I did put the Kaleidoscope sleek edges on my hair, so I'm just rubbing that in and I'm just gon na brush it with my hard bristle brush and I'm just gon na put my hair up into this ponytail. So I do smooth it out first and then I apply my hair tight line for this look. You don't have to have blow-dried or stretched hair. Like me, you can actually do this look on wet hair, but for me I wanted my style to be more faster. The drying process, everything, oh, this is more like a quick hairstyle that you can do if you're going somewhere, like I said, like a festivity or for just new you but anyway, so I'm just so leaking this side up doing the same step. What I'm doing here is securing my ponytail down, so I can easy apply. These go strains that I got from the beauty supply store, so I just tied it around. I'M just wrapping around my whole head or my whole ponytail band, to make it look like a hair tie just to give it like a little look. So the next step I am actually going to be doing is using my curling iron. So I'm actually going to split in this and half I'm just getting a little piece. And yes, this is really was a curling iron y'all and I just literally took the top part off because it broke off and I just use it as a curling one. So I've had this thing for like a couple of years now I think I had a polite, maybe over six years, so I just used it as a curling wand and it works very perfectly because I love how small it is, and it can give you really Great defined curls now you don't have to use a curling iron for this look. Obviously you can use a perm rod set. You mean a perm rod or a flexi rod, but you don't have to use heat on this, but I only put this up to 30 degrees on the heat temperature thingy. So it really is not gon na do any damage to my hair y'all, and I really don't put heat to my hair. That often so I should be good now. I do recommend so when you back your hair around this thing, you want to make sure that your hands are away from the curling iron cause. I don't know if y'all know this, but I actually burnt myself a few times and it didn't really burn me, but it actually burnt. If you know what I mean so yeah just make sure that you keep your hands off of the curling iron. Don'T be like me and wear some gloves if you want to, if you want to be really careful, so I'm just wrapping it around and around and around and around and now leave it on there for about 20 seconds, and then I just let go and that's How it looks so right now, I'm just unraveling or separating my curls, so that way it can be more voluminous. I separated about three or four times per chunky, curls that I do have so I'm just separate, and then after I separate my curls, I will go ahead and fluff it out with a pick and everything. Now this part is optional. You don't have to put any hair accessories in your hair, but knowing me you know I like to go. I like to be a little extra, so I did go on one side, simple. On the other side kind of look like a Harley Quinn, looking girl anyways.
