Okay, so today we're going to talk about making vici voluptuous waves like fine hair. So I get a lot of questions about my hair because it's so straight - and it's just so nice because not to work a lot to get it to go straight. But you do have to work a little bit to get it to go curly and essentially getting it to go beachy for me. So I'm going to give you some really key trick to getting it for first trick is product, so you just want to load on the product with just reckless abandon. You want to have good products. Do this with those so right now, I'm using this beach wave spray and I love it and it's smell kind of like men's cologne, and I love that. But it's a little bit pricey. So I also have a sugar in the felt recipe that I will leave. But for now we're just going to load it on and see how her hair just kind of getting that dirty feel. Okay, so once you've just pretty much dirtied your entire head, then the next key is to take. I usually use like a one-inch Erlanger for this, because you want to get a good enough way, but you don't want it to be too kinky. So what you want to do is you want to go right at the base and make sure to get that volume by curling right, close, don't burn your scalp, don't go to the scalp, pick it right up to the scalp so that you can get see how That lifts that's gon na give her a ton of volume, and the other thing we want to remember is to go back and forth. So we wrap this one. This direction we're gon na wrap the other one, the other direction, and that will give it some variation in the way the colors are the way the curls fall, so that the curls don't fall and end up sticking together. You won't be able to stick together if they're all pointing to different directions. The other thing I don't do when I'm doing the beachy curl is, I don't section it off, except when you sectioned off it gives it kind of a uniform feel, and you want to just grab pieces and especially when you have fine hair, you really don't need To set it up, you just want to grab pieces and just haphazardly different widths, a different vibe, and then I get done with a small section. I'M just going to take some hairspray, it's a flexible hold and make sure it's all sprayed up nicely. Another thing I want to do, and I don't want to do with every piece they want to get a variation in the curl is when I'm done, I'm just gon na like let it set in my hand for just a minute and then let it come out Because that cools it a lot still in the curl, so you're going to get even more variation. Okay, so now to finish, you just want to kind of spray where it is spraying and then just kind of make sure that there's not too much hair clinging together. So shake it out a little bit and you'll have huge fabulous. Have you guys, like this video and be sure to tune in next time, we'll be doing some more crazy? You

Nik: OMG, my hair is long and fine and I've never seen a better guide to creating beachy waves for my hair. After watching your video, I feel like I can get it in gear and create some beautiful beach curls. Fierce.....seriously fierce.

Michmash: Always love your tutorials, Cara! You always give me the confidence to try new things! (But I don't see the link to the recipe you mentioned.). I wish I looked as pretty as you do when I was pregnant! Looking forward to more hair ideas from you!

Abi Hill: I used this yesterday and it definitely helped - need to refine my tonging but the jist of it definitely worked better than my old technique! And my hair is between my boobs and my bellybutton, so waaay longer than this! Also, for girls with hair as long as mine, Lee Stafford do an extra long barrel tong which has been so much help for me!

Rochelle Sunflower: I have fine hair, but as much as I would like it long. I think fine hair looks even finer when it's too long. I don't have it longer than past my collar bone. As it looks thicker. The hairdresser did a good job though.

Elle Dfw: Great beachhead wave look !!!!! But please name the products!!!!

Jenny Knopsnider: This is the best beachy wavy hair tutorial

Brenda Clarine: So my hair is fine... and curly, but the curls are unkempt and crazy, any suggestions?

Jade Rebecca: That would fall out of my hair within half an hour

Maria Eugenia Isbej: Good tutorial but please don't film with so much light on the back it was hard to see what you were doing

kris70kms: What products & curling iron are you using?

MissKat2573: I didnt see the link for the recipe

doubtfuldreamer: its still too done up, not beachy

Haley Shireman: it still isn't working for me and the wave just keeps falling

Colleen Hamson: Recipe? thanks for this
