Thin & Fine Hair Products That Experts Are Currently Obsessed With!

Today we are going to talk all about the BEST products for FINE/THIN hair! These 6 products are helping women everywhere achieve the VOLUME of their dreams! **Dyson Airwrap Attachments Explained! https://youtu.be/l1VvBgcr1cI

For years I have been on a hunt for the best products for thin frizzy hair (which is my hair texture). Having an effective fine haircare routine can be a challenge because when it comes to thinning and hair loss, many styling aids are too heavy and weight the hair down. When it comes to hot tools, many are too hot or abrasive and can cause a lot of damage. After 16 years in the business, I have finally figured out how to style thin hair and thin hair products that actually work!

Girls with thin fine hair know the products and hot tools struggle all too well. Some products that are intended to be for volume when applied on fine and thin hair, end up being so heavy that they weigh the hair down and create less volume than if you don't use the product at all. Some products for fine and thin hair that are also made to be for volume are so light that they don't do anything at all and it's a complete waste of money. Some hot tools are too hot and can create a lot of damage. I get it. It'S a struggle today we're going to talk about six products that i have tried and that i know work and that i love for fine and thin hair. This video is sponsored by the beautiful people at go cashback. I have been using this for a week now and let me tell you it's pretty awesome what this is. It'S a google extension that automatically activates cashback earnings for you. When you don't even realize it, you literally get money for going shopping. This is how it works. You can browse the go cashback website and choose from thousands of stores. You can see how much cashback you get from shopping at these stores and then you can click on the store and get redirected to the store itself or you can just go onto a store that you want to buy from and if go, cash back is affiliated With it, it just automatically works. So, as you can see here, i want to shop at sephora today and i will get a percentage back for shopping here as you shop. The cash gets added to your account and then you can get paid by check paypal, direct deposit, or you can even get special gift cards with extra bonus payouts. This thing is so easy, there's just literally no reason why you shouldn't do it. You just get the extension and then, when you're shopping you get money back for shopping, you don't have to do anything, there's no strings attached. It'S super easy. Something else that i want to show. You is that if you go on the go cashback website, you can shop based on category. So if you need to buy something specific, you can choose to buy it through a website connected to go cashback, so you essentially get a discount off of whatever you need to buy anyway. Another cool thing to check out is this deals. Tab like look at this one, you get a four piece soap set with a 75 purchase and 10 cashback right now, they're, actually offering offline cashback for new users. So if you download their app, you will actually get a free, starbucks stream. That'S awesome because we all love free stuff, if you sign up with my link below or you use my code glam, which i'm going to pop up right here when you are signing up, you are going to get a registration bonus of eight dollars, so do that, I don't make money off of you guys doing that, but i want you to get a head start on your purchases and if you make eight dollars cash back now, the products that you're gon na buy at sephora are going to be cheaper for you. Now that we are saving loads of money, let's go shopping. The first product that i want to talk about is heat protectant. I have gotten loads of questions about heat protectants. In the comment section below and i kind of avoid and dodge the question. I find that heat protectant can be really heavy, it can be sticky or it can be really oily, and none of that really works for fine hair. So i haven't really been using a specific heat protectant product. I will use a product for volume that also works as a heat, protectant or i'll use the product for smoothing, if there's a lot of texture in the hair, but i haven't been buying or using really specific heat protectant products. Until now, i found one that is awesome. This product is the shumara heat activated blow dry spray. This is really good because it's great for frizz, it's a heat protectant and it's also suitable for all hair types and textures. This product is definitely on the pricey side, but the cool thing about it is that it does a lot of things. So you get some hold. You get volume you get heat, protecting you get all of these different products in one product. So if you're someone that cocktails a lot of products, i am a person that cocktails a lot of products. You can stop cocktailing because this will replace a whole bunch of other products, so in the end, you'll actually kind of save money getting this rather than having to buy 10 different things. Now, let's talk about scalp issues because i am seeing particularly lately - i'm not sure if it has to do with weather change here in canada, we're going from winter to spring, i'm seeing a lot of scalp issues: dry, itchy, flaky, scalp, all of the scalp things right Now everyone seems to have a scalp issue, so product number, two that i want to recommend is a scalp massager. What a scalp massager does is it increases circulation in the scalp, gets rid of product buildup and helps with deep cleaning. It'S also known to be good for people who are struggling with hair loss because it creates a healthier scalp environment for the hair to grow. Obviously, if you have genetic hair loss, it's a very complex issue. So if you use a scalp massager, your hair is not all of a sudden going to start growing, but what it can do is it creates a healthier scalp environment. So you don't have as many clogged pores or that layer of dead skin cells on the scalp kind of stopping the follicles from coming through. So if you have active follicles that are getting trapped and blocked with dead skin cells, product buildup debris all of that stuff. You'Re clearing that away so you're, creating a better soil environment for the hair follicles to grow, and that brings me to product number three: a scalp scrub. I have been talking a lot about scalp scrubs on my channel and that's because i recently discovered it from one of my viewers comments and i love it. Sephora collection has a scalp scrub that is really affordable, which is great again. What this does is it really controls flakes dryness and gets rid of product buildup if you're susceptible to that? If you have fine hair, this is good to use once a week, because flakes or buildup on fine hair will really deflate your volume. I just want to note that you don't want to do this step every time it will be quite drying on your hair and if you have fine, hair, brittle hair hair, that's breaking you don't want to overdo anything. So you just want to do this once a week or when you feel like you, have product build up or if your scalp is itchy or dry or flaking product number four is the dry bar high top self grip rollers. We have been talking about velcro rollers a lot lately and you know why, because it's a step in your hair care routine, that's a very easy step that everyone can do and that's minimal effort that makes a huge difference so minimal effort for a huge end result Is really really worth it when you have fine thin hair that you're struggling to get volume with velcro rollers are really easy to use. You put them in when your hair is hot and malleable. You wait for your hair to cool and you take them out. Hair becomes set when it's cooled down, so you're, basically manipulating the height of your hair by freezing it in position when it is hot, letting it set its shape and then taking it out. Product number five is living proof, full dry volume and texture spray. The coolest thing about this product is that it's sort of like hair spray, but it's not like hairspray at all, so hairspray has more of a frozen hold. Even a light, hold hairspray kind of gives you more of that heavy weighted hold. This spray gives you, like. A volume blast and gives you more of like a texture that feels saltier, but not so salty, that it's like a salt spray. It'S a really really unique product. My friend, who is an amazing hairdresser, her name's maddie. She told me about it. She showed it to me. I actually bought it from her and i have loved it ever since, and i use it a lot on fine hair clients, because it does give you that kind of beachy sexy, vibe tons of volume and lift, but it's not waxy or weighted at all product number. Six, i hesitated putting this in here. I had it out, put it in, took it out and now it's back and it's the dyson air wrap. The reason i hesitated putting this in is because it's like a million dollars. Okay and seven 700 - it's 700, but you know what i don't know your budget and it really is a phenomenal tool. This is a hot tool like no other hot tool. I got gifted this for christmas. I believe from my husband a few years ago. I did an entire video on all of the attachments, what they mean and how the actual apparatus works. The coolest thing about the dyson air wrap is that it can do everything. So all of the attachments do different things, so you can have waves, you can have curls, you can have smooth straight hair or you can just have drying, but it's not super hot and it won't burn your hair. The temperature is really controlled and regulated. I mean it's an exceptional quality product, it's very, very unique and when you're doing the airwrap it creates an effect that i have never ever seen before in hair. I have used every hot tool in the planet like. Let me tell you, and i have done hair of every type of person from super thick to extremely thin and fine, and this is a tool that works completely uniquely than any other tool for every type of hair. It is 100 worth it and i don't just say that, because it's a bougie product, because i also bought the dyson flat iron and i hated it - i thought it was terrible. I did a review on that as well. I mean it's not terrible, but it's absolutely not worth the money and i ended up returning that product. So the dyson air wrap, if you are in the market, for something that is very unique and different, and you are okay with getting through a bit of a learning curve, because it does take a little bit of time to get used to using the attachments. It is definitely worth it and if you use, go cash back, you'll get lots of money off of that product because it's such an expensive product, if you guys, are interested in checking out what the different attachments do and how they look when styled from wet to Dry then check out this video next. Thank you guys for watching i'll, see you next week, bye

Michelle Gwilliam: I just recently found you & I LOVE ALL YOUR TIPS!! You know the struggles of fine/ thin hair. I use a Revlon blow dryer but adding the Velcro rollers is a game changer for volume!! And the texture spray you recommend is awesome!

stephanie gonzalez: I just found your channel this month and am obsessed with all your tips!! They have helped me with my thin hair and I can’t be more greatful❤️❤️

Demet Evans: WOW Gabi, you look even more beautiful than normal, love the jumpsuit, oh and love the video content and advice too, you are talking my language, the struggle is real. X

Lauren Ripley: Boost from Unite. Never weighs down my super fine and thin hair. Volume + thermal protection.

Marissa Grilli: Try the Kenra Blow Dry Spray. It’s extremely light weight, not oily, and gives no weight to the hair. I’ve been using it solely for about 3 years.

kptc4ever: Do you have any suggestions for shampoo for grey, fine hair?

Skincare Lover: Girl you have helped me so much with my fine hair, I wish you were my hairdresser

Vivian Lawrence: Hi Gabi, I found Shu Uemura Tsuki Shape Blow Dry Spray but it doesn't say Heat-Activated. Is this as good as, or should I definitely only use the one that says heat-activated? Thanks

Gayle: The living proof volume is my absolute favorite!!!

Joelee Ashley: Hello, I have a short hair cut, and I was wondering how often should I do a Glossing treatment? Thanks

Tracy Holman: I love your channel .Great tips .love your make up as well can you do a makeup video .xx

Becky Kueng: I want to use velcro rollers for my VERY fine, thin hair but it seems like every time I try to use them I feel like they pull out more hair when I remove them. What am I doing wrong ? I know they would help me get less flat hair but I can't afford to lose more hair every time I try to use them! Help !!!

Elaine Palmer: I have white hair now which has been colored blond with light brn highlights in my 60’s dark brn. I think it’s thining but maybe it’s because now I can see a massive cowlick which goes down from my mid part & ends halfway down the back of my head! my shoulder length wavy fine soft hair gives me trouble hiding the big cowliick as it’s very strong… please what can I do

Ascent: I wish you were my hairdresser. I feel like you’d be sensitive to my needs. Some years back I actually had a stylist bust out laughing at my thin hair. I sat there trying not to cry than didn’t get a professional haircut for two years. I’ve been self conscious every single time I go in which hasn’t been often.

Bee S: Can you do a video of adorable great drugstore shampoos, and conditioners for fine thin hair that gets oily on the scalp after 24hrs of washing it...?

Alicia Langan: I find scalp massagers make my fine hair super knotty and then when out of the shower, there's hair fall so ive given it away.

Abhipsa Acharya: Hi.. I wanted to ask one question. No matter how long I straighten my hair, it just not last. I use a heat protect spray, followed by straightening and then end it by applying a serum. Can you pls tell how do I make my straightening last? Also, which one lasts longer, blow dry or straightening?

kodi jones: can you recommend a serum or finishing gel of some kind for after styling to tame the fly aways please

Kathleen H.: So happy I found you! You mentioned a salon here, in Toronto, and for the life of me I can't find our "chat". Could you please let me know again, my apologies. It was in Rosedale if I remember correctly.

Mandy Smith: I feel like I look so awful because of my hair. It is so thin. Even when I try to fix it it’s limp, doesn’t flow like hair should and looks stringy and flat. I just miss my haor

Kristina H.: Hi I need your help... I dyed my hair with Revlon Color Silk Deep Burgundy and the ends of my hair didn't take the color. I'm thinking it because my hair is over processed from an at home bleach job I did 2 years ago. I like to color my hair at home but have given it a 6 month break. I wanted to try something different than blonde or my natural brunette so I choose deep Burgundy. Do I need a protein filler or do I need a hair cut before I try to color it with the same shade again? Your help is greatly appreciated

Sally Loosli: Is gocashback available in the US or just Canada?

Alice: Need a good clarifying shampoo for fine hair

Namrita Menon: love your dress!

Elaine Palmer: Elaine ps I did have very dark brn hair b4 it went white.

Patricia Pyper: Menopause thinning hair

Angela: Hello, I would like you to put again the products without go cash back, please

Patricia Pyper: Great Britain northern lreland ❤️

miss kitty: Couldn't get gocashback to load. Are they out of business?

Lisa Dupree: Best hairstyle and haircolor for you

leslie russo: In one of your other videos you suggested KMS heat protecting spray for fine hair so I bought it. Now your recommending Shu Uemura. I can’t keep buying all these different products that you recommend. I enjoy your videos but your all over the map with these products so I’m not going to follow you anymore. I can’t afford to buy products you say are good for fine thin hair only to have you say in the next video that there’s a better product. Wish I were able to buy every product on your lists but I don’t have that kind of money to throw away. I wish you well but I’m unsubscribing because of this issue.
