Hey guys welcome back to my Channel today I am doing my hair. I have these invisible locks in my hair for a little bit over two weeks and I finally just decided to take them out because my scalp started to get a little bit itchy. So this is just me showing you how I'm taking them out. It'S like really really easy to take them out. It takes like almost no effort, it's really easy foreign to straighten your hair. This might be the most important part when you wash your hair and conditioner. I wash my hair with the design essential shampoo. It is so good, it is so moisturizing it's not stripping at all, and then I condition my hair with the design Essentials conditioner as well. One thing I'll say is, I think, a lot of people leave in conditioner. Don'T do that don't do we're not doing a natural style, we're doing a straight style and we don't want to leave in conditioner and start burning it with the flat iron. So I'm just going in my hair and blow drying it first. I need to wet it again because I hate blow drying my hair on really dry hair. I feel like it just cracks and it's brittle when it does that, so I just make sure I go in with my tangle teaser brush. I don't do anything without this brush and I make sure I detangle every single part. I do not go in and blow dry unless it's all detangled. So then I go in with my Revlon like brush blow dryer, I'm going to link everything I used. This makes my wash day this makes everything straightening. It makes everything so much easier. The effort is way less and I used to think that this would be bad for my hair, but you can spin it on your hair and everything. Your hair is not going to get tangled in this um just make sure you are thoroughly detangling it first. So I first I blow dry in a big section, but to make sure I get my roots, I kind of divide that section and just hold it by the roots for a little bit just to make sure I'm like really getting that part and it takes. I don't know maybe two minutes for each section: um, maybe a little bit more on some parts, maybe a little bit less on other parts. You want to just make sure that your blow dry is really really good, like you still have body, and you feel movement with your hair, it's not stiff if it's stiff, you're, probably not going to have a good result with the flat iron. So this is the heat protectant I use. I only just you know I just use a little bit just use a little bit. You don't need too much or I feel like. I don't need too much. Maybe that's why I have some heat damage, but I just feel like the more the more product you're using the stiffer your hair is going to be the last product you use the more you know, flowy it's going to be an Airy and just like Silk put The silk and silk press: this is my fine iron, like I said I'll link this too. I'M not sure if you can see that, but I'm trying to show you the degrees that it that it goes up to um, I'm just making it go higher and higher higher, and then I realized okay whoa. That'S too much. It went all the way up to like 450. I don't know who needs that. That'S too much, but I put it down to 400. um. So now I'm going to start to flat iron first, okay, so I do use the chase method make sure your comb is facing up toward the ceiling. Okay and then um. I just make sure I comb through and then I just go ahead and do a pass and I only do one pass. I do not do any more than that. One pass is good enough. Next section, I'm making sure the comb is pointed to the ceiling and then boom. I go ahead and get those roots good and I go down with one pass one pass and I do make sure I'm taking my time I might take a while on one section, because I want to get it all, but I don't want to like snatch anything. I just I just don't want to go too fast. I want to make sure the silk press is soaking. Okay, I'm all the way at the end now - and I always I don't - I don't think I'll ever point this out, but I always try to use Clips. If I use a bow, then I'll use a silco, but for the most part I like to use clips and I'll link the clips that I like um, because it's just less going on with your hair you're, not constantly pulling your hair with the bow you're. Not constantly pulling your hair you're just clipping it in and flipping it out, you're just placing the hair instead of like messing with the hair or like manipulating it, and this is my last section - make sure you detangle it good. Okay, get those roots and go through with that last pass. Take your time. Take your time boom. We'Re done. I have to say this is one of the best results. I'Ve had you know. Sometimes it varies. Maybe you know, I don't know it varies, but this is one of my better ones. It'S so straight. It'S so straight um. I don't normally wear my hair straight though, like once it's straight, I normally, I don't know do something else but like maybe put in a clip or something, but this is a few hours later, I'm with the full day. So this is night time now and you see that indentation in my hair, that's just because I use a claw clip, but my hair looks really good. It'S still silky the full day did nothing to my hair. It looks great so now I'm just going to show you how I prepare for bed um. I just use these bobby pins and I just do four big pin curls and I have a whole video telling you why I no longer wrap my hair I'll link that um I just I don't do it. You can watch that video to figure out. Why and um I yeah, I just show you how I do my pin curls, which I do not do them perfectly at all, and that's okay, because your hair can turn out perfect without perfect pin curls just make sure you get them in some type of pin. Curl does not does not have to be perfect at all. You can do more or less than me, but the more pin curls you do, the curl, your your hair will be me doing four I find um messy or not. It just gives it. The perfect amount of volume, so this is the next day. This is the morning time and I'm just taking the bobby pins out. I slept with that Bonnet one. I didn't even find my scarf, but whatever it still worked out slow down and once I take all the pain curls out, I don't have to do much manipulation at all. It pretty much just Falls right into place, and it just looks really good. This, for me, is the best result. Um, you know just way better than wrapping my hair. This is just better and I'm just like never going back and I feel like yeah. I hope I answered a lot of questions um. If you have any other questions about, you know doing your like flat ironing your hair, just you know, drop them down below and yeah. My hair turned out good. Let me know what you think and let me know if you use any different products or if you use any different methods. Um - and I might you know, see what those are talking about. I love you guys so much have a beautiful beautiful wonderful day today.
