Gxrome: If someone mistaken your real hair into a wig, gurl yah know you're slaying,

Sheer Divine 7: Yasss baby Don’t hate, instead, get inspired if this is what you desire. It’s definitely on my list and in the process of obtaining We can and we will if we want to. ♥️

Jamie Smiles: I 100% absolutely believe you. I am in my mid 50's now and am white. I was raised by a black family in my formative years. When I grew up and had my second child when I was nearly 30 I simply could not get that child to grow hair (he is white also). My white momma is still around (long story) and was of no help, but since for many years I had watched my black momma do my black sisters' hair (she did a great job), I asked her what to do, as I was at my wits end. She told me to wait until he was almost two and told me to put a similar product on his hair/scalp and in no time my child had a full head of hair!!!! It was almost out of control!!!! Something about black hair products that just does the trick!!! Those white hair products are just wasteful and cost so much more. I used it on him for many years to come until his hair could sustain itself. When I had my next child, I just automatically started putting it on him at the age of two. It really does do wonders. You just take really good care of your hair/scalp. That's it! It looks really nice.

Sarah Loyden-Anderson: Yass! Black women can grow long hair just like anybody else, no limits!❣️

Phi-losiphy: Omgg yess! I remember in school when I had hair that went down my back when it was natural (I rarely straightened it) and whenever my mum put my hair in cornrows people wouldn't believe it's my real hair! The kids in my school would literally pull on it to see if it was fake. It drives me insane, it's like it's not even safe to walk out my house with long, healthy hair without bs and ignorance from other people. Funny how those same people are also black!

Anita Vallier: Girl, I hear you. We have long hair because we took care of our hair.

Vanessa M: People used to mistake my hair for a wig all the time. I didn't know if I should be upset or happy about it.

ArayaDay: My curly hair gets mistaken for a wig all the time and it’s been tugged twice already . People love to hate but it’s the people that are the same complexion as me questioning my tresses. I can’t help what God gave me , Not my fault and God doesn’t make mistakes

Farrah Bluestone: Don't let them stress you out. Black women hair does grow longer than their shoulders. We are taking better care of our hair these days. Mine is pass my bra strap curly. I have been wearing my naturally curly state for 7 years no heat. Don't have a clue how long it really is now.

K. Es: I get this allllll the time as well!! My mother has always treated my hair beautifully and taught me how to do the same as I got older. I always kept short hairstyles but I now have locs and they’ve grown to my butt within 5 -6 years so everyone thinks my hair is fake ‍♀️

Momma Kong: My hair isn't even as long as yours and I've been accused of wearing hair extensions. You just gotta keep it moving. Everyone has an opinion.

Beth Trigger: Anyone can have long nice hair if they look after it the right way because some products don’t work for everyone you got to find what works for you but it can and will happen if it’s done right but wig or not who gives a fuck if your looking good with it then that all I can say ‍♀️

Safisha Hurst: I’m sorry I thought it was a wig too girl your hair is soooo beautiful

Starry Nite: She was filled with pure jealousy, baby girl. Keep doing you, boo

Samina: Where I was raised, if a woman’s natural hair got mistaken for a wig, it was definitely a compliment. That’s means your hair is slayed.

twentyseven: Her hair is beautiful!! Looks soft and healthy. You go girl!!!

🌸Ty’Airra.craw🌸 #mia.kamisMINE: OMGOSH yasssss I get this all the time when I get a silk press people call it a wig, when I wear my natural puff people call it a wig I even shoe them that it’s not but they still call it a wig like black girls can have long hair

top flight: I believe black women can grow hair. My daughter, sister and niece have waist length hair....BUT that's a wig!!

Princess555 O: You're not superior if you have long hair. It's beautiful but j wish people would say women with 4c hair are lazy for not growing long straight hair. Some of us have never seen growth despite all the time and effort we put in. I live in Canada too and the breakage is horrible

Suzy After30: Many ppl are so jealous. It manifests & projects in ways that they themselves don’t even realize. It’s an ugly thing. They can say “I have nothing to be jealous of”, etc. But then what other reason is there for unprovoked rudeness? They are unable to cope w/ feelings of envy.❤️

Martine On The Scene: That’s a whole compliment!

Deja Cason: I've gotten this even with short hair from black people or they assumed you're mix because of the texture it really be your own people

Karen Covington: Beautiful!!! Please ignore the haters!!!!

jayci ellis: i have complimented hair like this before and i’ll get “girl it’s a wig” sometimes and sometimes people feel offended but i am not a big hair person so i never know if it’s a wig or not. beautiful hair, if someone thinks it’s a wig i would take it as a compliment and just keep informing people like you are right now! and im mixed so all the hairdressers always say i have “mexican hair” and i can never get my hair silky smooth and as pretty as yours if you could give some tips lol

Elly Dais: Have you Never see a Full lace wig? This hair can be a natural but can be a Full lace too.

Rebe: Gurl i get this all the time, curly and straight, but i dont stress about proving becaue its real from ruth to tip and it still grows no matter how much ppl question it.. We still Fabulous gurl!!

Mo: It’s so sad that when we do have long hair we have to prove ourselves every time.. or even our own people will hate on us and just try to find SOMETHING to say. I really hate that.

Kb Flawless: Beautiful hair and girl ignore those haters.

Benezia Haruna: this is so sad that she has to prove its not a wig

Love Lifealways: Lol I remember this old white lady stopped my friend and I to say how much she loved our hair. I said thank you and returned the compliment. She then told me, “oh mines is real and it’s thinning” lol. My friend and I were both rocking our natural hair btw lol. I just nod and smile. Didn’t feel the need to correct her.

Tee Jay: having hair on your head is a blessing, if that's what you want. some people tie their whole identity to their hair. my mom is afro dominican and my dad is black American. my hair has been long my entire life but I learned early on that my hair doesn't determine my worth or how pretty I am to society. I hope many of you find your way.

Angela_Alegna: Forget the haters. Black folks can grow beautiful hair..

Megan Thee Pony: People mad if it’s a wig and then more mad when it’s not

Kayla D: It's 2022 and we're still focused on Black girls hair. Leave us alone!!!

Angela Keal: Beautiful tresses Sis!

Cortez Forbes-Rose: You go Gurl!!!!!

Kelli B.: THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED TO GO VIRAL TO SHOW THESE BLACK GIRLS THAT YES YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN HAIR AND SLAY, YOU DONT NEED THESE HAIRHATS TO GLUE ONTOP OF IT!!!

Summer Johnson: Finally!! Thank-you.

Valentina H: Beautiful Crown . For some reason, once my hair grows past my shoulders, I get it cut off. Lord help me.

Cup of Tae, with Suga Kookies no jams & a sprite: I’m a black girl and I’ve had long hair pretty much my entire life. I’ve also grown up around all different types of races and ethnicities and while other races have questioned whether or not I had a “weave” in, the majority of the disbelief came from other black girls. When black boys would compliment me, it was almost always about how long my hair is “for a FULLY black girl” as if it’s some unbelievable sight to see a black girl with long hair (who wasn’t mixed because y’all already know that was the first question they asked ). I think as black people, instead of trying to convince other people (including some of our own people) that we can grow long beautiful hair (cause their opinion doesn’t matter anyway) we need to convince ourselves of this and let haters continue to hate. I don’t spend hours every wash day, perfecting these beautiful natural inches to sit here and argue with someone about whether it’s real or not. Girl bye

F. J.: Gorgeous hair.

Irma E: It’s sad that you guys feel as you must prove yourselves, words are just words until you give them power.

V P/JUICEE: I know that's right. My drill Sgt made me do that then ran her funky AZZ finger s thru my hair. BIS. We can grown are hair. Damn!!

Wanda parker: Thank you Cousin . I get so tired of people asking me if I'm wearing a lace front. As if only "Black" women does. When I had waist length loccs, I was asking if they were weaves. If that wasn't bad enough, strangers would come up to touch or yank my hair. I cut them off. Now with below the shoulder curls, im asked is all the hair mines. I give up. "Black" women. Are not bald. We have different degrees of curls and thickness of hair. JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!! And for the record, we are not the title holder of HAIR EXTENSIONS!

Sherry J: straight!! ❤love it

Beautiful Me: It's weird how people try tell black women about OUR hair. And they think they know more than us. Wait until they run into shrinkage

Tay Daniels: First time seeing this and I was like , “yes sis! tell me where to get that wig. It’s flawless!” Lol. You’re hair is gorgeous. Ignore the haters.

Abigail Koechel: Gotta say I respect her for how she slayed the situation! I love how she instead of being like you WHITE PPL need to understand black women can grow long hair but instead said YOU GUYS need to understand stating that only the ppl who dont understand need to understand.

Beelzebubz: Girl your hair is fucking gorgeous that's all I wanna say. I'm slowly getting my hair healthy again after years of bleaching and this is how I want mine to look one day

Citizen Cain: She’s right. I’ve had long hair all my life. I get it trimmed regularly and it grows back pretty fast. Everybody is different.

desi babi: Man this makes me so HOT. I get this all the time. Whenever I straighten my hair during fall and winter , everyone immediately jumps to “oh nice wig, or is all that yours or oh WOW your hair is so long and shiny” it’s very degrading but it makes me happy when I shake my head and tell them; idkw you think black ppl can’t grow their hair, that’s a lil bigoted don’t you think? They get stone quiet after that.

مروه يوسف: Why does she give a shit, I always take it as a compliment when ppl think I’m wearing a wig and ask where I got my hair from

Samantha Salas: I want to know what it is that she’s using, her hair is healthy!!

8yrs Beautiful family from GOD: When I had just given birth all the black nurses were hating until I met one nice one and I had a moment to put my hair into a ponytail y’all know how messy it can get and her eyes swoll she was just as surprised as me when she thought it was a wig we both wanted eachothers hair hers was curly mine was straight but messy ❤

Alex Harper: Yes all it takes is dedication to having healthy long hair, looks amazing ❤️

triplegoddess: People ALWAYS ask if mine is a wig

Majik Rose 🌹: Queen do not allow the hate to stress you out your hair is gorgeous and yes we can grow luscious hair if you put the time in. Stay blessed

Justovia Smith: You have beautiful hair & I know how you feel. It's the media & black men pushing that false narrative that black women cant have long hair. It's really stupid. I'm glad you showed this in your video. Your hair is healthy & long.

Simone shalom: Literally happens to me all the time!! Long hair runs in my family and we are 100% black

TWINsational Rhonda and Shonda: My daughter's natural hair is literally butt length, thick and healthy. We definitely can grow long hair.Your hair is beautiful

Kanika C: When I straighten my hair, there's always someone questioning my length, which is currently mid back. A lady at my job asked where I buy my hair from. I said no where. And she got mad because I didn't give her a location fr fr. Then she asked a co-worker, and she told her, "That girl don't have tracks in her damn head." I burst out laughing. It's just entertainment for me at this point.

MissMichSan: Beautiful!!! This is what I'm saying. I'm tired of these young girls making videos on lace wigs when they can just embrace their natural beauty

Lashonay 🌎: Hell, even my natural curls get mistaken for a wig sometimes. I just tell them, yes it's a wig!!

Iam Reborn👀: Yea when I straighten my hair it's long asf and ppl always say it's nice extensions or weave and they touch it without my consent. Drives me batty

Amberella Laqueen: Not justifying my hair to NO ONE! Have plenty of wigs and also wear my long natural hair out too. Whomever doesn’t like either can kick rocks

Valerie W. Lovecraft: Thank youuu! Your hair looks just like mine when I flat iron it. Black women have many different hair types ❤

Louna Lopez: same things always happen to my sister. people always mistaken her hair to a wig, when she just have beautiful long curly hair, she took it from my mom and it's always make me mad when people say that she's wearing a wig, like it's sooo obvious SHE'S NOT

Zaneisha Phillips: I've gotten that plenty of times, and being accused of having a perm, because of my hair texture as well! Mostly back in my high school days! I thought adults would be more mature! Guess I was wrong!

Queen Diva: That’s right! We can grow long hair and we don’t have to be mixed!

Royce Tyler: We sure can! My hair was long until I started getting it cut. We all don't wear wigs and extentions.

ALLYOUCANEAT: People are just jealous. You took care of hair, now you can wear it in different ways. Looking gorgeous!

August Rain: Lol! That a wig for sure. Stop trying to claim something that is inevitable. Show us that back honey? I don’t think so.

Lady Tee: At my high-school several black girls (myself included) had long hair and would always have defend our blackness because "black girls don't have long hair". None of us wore extensions/weave but it was always a question.

Ms.Leah777: My ex bestie use to say my hair looks like a wig all the time and I got rid of her ass!!! Black women all can have long hair just take care of it!

Bobby’s Television shows: That’s how my hair is n she looks like me

Regina Moura: That's just a flat-ironed curly hair. What's the big deal?

Joyce Hardin: My sister an I got bullied growing up in Detroit, just because we had long hair. We could sit on our braids. We didn't care about how long or short somebody's hair was, we just wanted to be friends and have fun playing. Too much importance is put on this.

Kittybellgrey: 1st, i love your hair and the colour is gorgeous! 2nd my manager literally ran his hand through my hair before like to touch my scalp because he didn't believe my hair was real lol (he was also black so it wasnt like him being petty or like racist or anything and we were pretty cool so i didn't mind him doin that, as it wasn't in a weird creepy way or anything) also when i first started dating my guy, and i got my hair straightened, he thought my hair was fake till he touched it and realized it was my own hair. I have thick curly 4c/b hair so shrinkage is real lol.

Chanelle shaffer: Thank you, I heard some ladies getting into a full blown argument over wether or not I was wearing a wig. I walked over and told them no it wasn’t and the looks on their faces was hilarious. They were so embarrassed because I heard them. All hair is good hair.

Michelle Quinn: ❤I get it all the time …. Right before they try and put their fingers in my hair. I actually take very good care of my hair. All that money that folks put into wigs and extensions…. I use half the $$$ and take the time. #OurHairGrows just fine! Thank you very much! Period!! T❤

ami elwafi: Me who is north African and when ppl say your hair looks like a wig it's usually a bitter compliment like the same as "your hair is too good to be true"

Rihanna N: Eritrean /Ethiopian she must be East African we have long hair this is very normal people should really travel …

Gemini Gang: as a black girl i have EXTRA long hair down to my waist i wash blow-dry and flatiron my hair every year almost and people ALWAYS say my hair is a wig or like to touch it MY WHOLE family has long and thick hair and every time my grandpa or grandma or somebody would wear a afro puff they would say it is a wig or when the girls would straighten the hair!!!

Wait, what???: As someone who had waist length hair my entire life, this always pissed me off. People would ask someone who knew me growing up and believe them, but not me about my own hair. The second part was that I am a ginger and that got me accused of dying my hair. No ma'am. This is what I came into the world with.

Tisha Adams: I think some people think that because there are a lot of wigs that look like natural hair. Some don't understand our hair can be beautiful like this without extra. I love how she says I take care of my hair.

Francis Linn: That's right Sis, you tell them. Your hair is absolutely beautiful...period!!!

Twizzled Pizzle: Of course black women can grow long hair. It's just curly. Then when it gets all straightened out, it's SUPER long! You don't need to feed into the negativity, girl! Just keep being you

Nerissa Iloilo: The gate agent at an airport in Texas asked me what kind and where my hair was from I was as shocked by that question as she was when I told her it was my hair lmao

PracticalJoker: Smh this generation is so used to being fake, when someone is being natural the haters say otherwise Just means you’re poppin mamas, keep slaying

Nalue: Or don’t forget the “omg what are you mixed with ” questions when they realize it’s real Also realize that it doesn’t matter what you do, when someone is a hater they’ll find anything to upset your balance. Ignore it and thrive lol that’s the only way to shut them up and down ‍♀️

Janhavi R.: Beautiful hair girl!!!! but yes as a black woman I really hate that people think that we can not have long hair! It’s ridiculous at this point

Michelle Singleton: I went through this when I was in high-school everyday in the 80s.Got into fights almost weekly over hair. Now that iam older I lost interest in doing my hair in just wrap it up in go.

Ima Hicks: No wig, Sis! You got it all the way real - you got it!

Feronia: It's so insulting to say someone has a wig when their hair is just beautiful. People asked me if I had extensions because I have full and long hair. ‍♀️

PurpleSky: Exactlyyy. Even with my own braids people ask if it's my own hear. YES they are long and YES it's my own hair!

Lorna Matthews: That hair looks natural how can one mistake that for a wig.Its stunning Black women can grow long hair

Eva Capri: Lol that’s when you know your hair laid.

Julia Amador: Girl they hating on your hair they know that’s your real hair god bless you

Julene Reid: Sis... don't take an ounce of your time addressing negativity. Let them eat cake and continue to wonder and speculate . Continue to be you, fabulously.
