And yes it is kind of comparable only on the basis that we give white women a hard time for wearing black hair styles yet I never see black women wearing the curly kinky coily wigs ..it's always ends up getting blown out, straightened, or waved, or even curled with a curling iron...like white women's.. Here's my thing. I wish we all as black and mix women would just love our hair as is ..no dyes, wigs, heat, manipulation..and dear Lord these edges have gotten unnaturally out of control...we should love our hair how God made it and never cover up our crown. If black people created a braid to protect their hair and other people wear braids just for style, it's not even the same intention. ..so why do the two get compared to each other?
