I Finally Chopped My Hair ... And Almost Cried

Good morning guys today we are going to get our hair done, I'm so excited. I actually scheduled this appointment. The last time I got it done. My appointment was actually for the 24th. I believe - and I texted my hairstylist last week and asked if she had any cancellations to please. Let me know - and I could come in whenever to start about four days ago and said that she had had a cancellation today, which is Friday. And if I wanted to take it - and I said absolutely - I will be getting my hair done where Naomi lives, so I text her. I was like. Do you want to make me company for a little while, while I get my hair done and she said duh, so I'm gon na be hanging out with Mommy as well. It would just be so nice to have a man right now. I shouldn't but like when you like, going for Christmas New Year's and she broke her leg. They were telling me that they've been in so many pretty much done. I just have to put my outfit on I'm doing. Pillow Talk by Charlotte Tilbury on my lips today and then doing Pillow Talk in the little lipstick as well, and now I'm going to choose an outfit all right guys here is my outfit, some leggings a Nike shirt, my puffer vest from White Fox and my new Balances, I got these with my mom's gift card to dicks, so I am they're actually really comfortable and cute. So that's a fit. I made it to my hair appointment. I just finished having some papaya for breakfast and water, and I stopped by at Starbucks to get my hair stylist a little gift. So I got her a mug and a Starbucks gift card and we're here, um Nami, just texted me what I want from Starbucks, because she's gon na come keep me company for a little bit and she's bringing me Starbucks like a queen. So let's go in I'm so excited, I don't even know what we're doing, but I'm excited for my hair all right guys, so we made it here. I think I'm so excited guys we're doing a big chop today. We'Re doing, I think, four to five inches off. It'S basically all of where I have my black stuff going, so I'm nervous, but new year new me, oh, my God, I'm gon na hold my fingers. Essentially it's like you know, um, you guys my queen just got here like say hello and she brought us Starbucks. Oh, my God, I literally just swallowed my croissant because I was starving, but she brought me a matcha latte with oat milk and sugar for vanilla. What did you get here? I got a brown sugar shaking espresso nice. Did you get my love? I love it getting out of my shockness now I feel, like I'm excited now put it on your stories. Look at that volume, though I know, thank God, look it's right at your boob curled, my God. Oh my God yeah the color is perfect. Like I wish. We could have gotten this with my long hair. You know, but well now you can. No. Now your hair's gon na grow. Your hair grows long. It grows fast literally when she came in it has only been seven weeks and she already had almost an integral. So her hair grows quick like yours, yeah. I want to go. Take pictures. Yes, all right guys, the queen herself is done. Thank you so much. I definitely feel like I'm having an identity crisis. I don't know it's really short. This is the shortest I've been in. Probably like four or five years so definitely having a little identity crisis, but it's hair. It grows back. If I don't like it, I can dye it black, like it's literally fine, anyways um. I just came in the car, so I could get a couple stuff because now me and I are going shopping for some supplies at the beauty store. So let's go now I'm about to head home, but thank you to Noemi for giving me the company that I needed today and hyping me up, because I texted her last time I was like. Should I chop my hair and she was like yeah [ __ ]. It so I was like okay, I'm gon na, do it and you did it and I did it. I came to pick up my sisters from school, but you know me and I ended up going into the beauty supply store, so we could stock up on some things and the first thing that I bought there was this Bio Ionic gold, Pro curling iron and the One and a half inch barrel: I do have the Bio Ionic, the black one and it's super cute, but I just wanted a thicker one. Just two: try to style my hair, a little bit more voluminous and not very like defined curls. My hairstyle is also recommended. I'M gon na get the reaction on camera, see if they like my hair and then I'm also gon na get my mom and Jonathan's reaction because I'm strong, I don't know if they're gon na notice a huge difference. I would say: well I threw out my hair for like five years, so this big chop is ridiculous, like who the hell did. I think I was today honestly, but what I'm going to try to do tonight is my overnight curls and see if they work, if they make my hair styling be better, but I don't know I'm also going to start taking prenatals, because I think prenatals are truly. What made my hair grow throughout my pregnancy, so I think I might start taking prenatals and then being super like extra, more careful with my natural salmon planning, because I obviously don't want to get pregnant, but I want my hair to start growing. I do really like it, I feel like it did, give me like a change for 2021. The way that my hairstylist was explaining, it was like your hair, holds a lot of trauma like the five inches that she cut off was probably 10 year old hair. That has been through too much with me, and she kind of just made me feel like I was freeing something I mean I've been talking about this very recently saying that this year is going to be very challenging for me in the sense that I'm going through A lot of stuff behind the scenes and some days are harder than others, and today, with this big chop, it made me feel like I just did a huge life change and I feel like it's something I can finally come control, because everything else that I'm going Through behind the scenes is just something that I can't control, I cannot fix anything. I cannot do anything. I can just write it out and I feel like my hair dyeing my hair, cutting my hair and just doing different things to myself is something that I can control and it kind of makes me feel a sense of confidence and a sense of safety. I guess so I don't know it's gon na grow back, I mean it's hair and I can always dye it different color and do different things to it. So that's where I'm at right now, but anyways I'm going to have dessert. I always have dessert it. Just it's a given. My dessert lately has been these Brookside dark chocolate pomegranates, they are so delicious and I know this kind of sounds like I'm trying too hard, but I really am trying to do like the serving portion. Only and honestly, this portion of this is perfect for my sweet tooth, so it says 12 pieces is a serving and 12 pieces contains 120 calories and 18 grams of sugar, which is a lot, but I mean you got ta, do what you got ta do girl. So I kind of just take my 12 pieces and that's what my dessert is honestly, I'm gon na take you into my bathroom later tonight to see if I can do overnight curls good morning last night I said I was gon na bring you guys with me In the bathroom to do my legging curls, but it was a whole ordeal I just didn't know if I was gon na be able to do that, because my hair was so freaking short, and this is the result I'm about to take them out and if they Don'T come out good. That is my sign that I, oh I'm also nervous, not gon na lie. I was trying to put this off see these girls they're. So so, oh, my goodness, oh my God, I thought that they were just not gon na curl, like I thought my hair was too short. Oh look. Let me have some fun girl, okay, bye, look at how cute they look this I actually really like them. I really like this. Oh, I literally told myself. If I wake up and my curls don't turn out, then it means I'm [ __ ] up like I. It means that I should have not cut my hair and I should cry about it, but this is my sign that I broke up and they actually look really good. My hair looks really nice and it's just the volume like girl girl. I don't know I freaking love it. Okay, I feel so much better about myself right now. I'M obsessed, okay, I'm obsessed, I I have nothing else but anyways. I went shopping at Target the other day and I have not taken anything out of my car, so I thought I would show you guys a little Target haul because I bought a duvet cover. I have told you guys that I really wanted to do a cover for my comforter, because washing the comforter itself was too much and the duvet cover is thinner and lightweight. So I think it's going to be easier to wash it since I do wash my sheets about once a week, so I'm going to show you guys everything that I bought yeah. Let'S go! Do that Franco. Do you want to say hi to your vlog, hey, say: hi viola the older okay update? This is the end of the day, and this is what my legging curls have fallen to. So you can definitely still tell that I had curls in they're, probably not as voluminous and not as tight as they were when I took them off in the morning, but honestly for overnight heatless legging curls. This is amazing, right, anyways um. I did tell you guys. I went to Target the other day. I spent too much money, I'm kind of regretting it, but I wanted to show you guys all of the things that I bought, because I still haven't even taken them out of their bags. The first thing that I really wanted to get was a silk pillowcase, so I got two of them one for me, one for Jonathan - and this is just supposed to help your hair, your skin. Then I actually got a second set of my bed sheets, because I want to have a clean one ready to go when I put the other one in the wash, so I don't have to wait all day for it to be done, washing and dried. So I just got the same one: this is a threshold uh performance sheet set. It is so comfy. It'S perfect. I'M not had any troubles with it. Although I love Casa, Luna threshold is half the price of Casa, Luna and they're honestly close to the same quality. These were, I think, 60 dollars and if I would have gotten a sheet set from Casa, Luna would have been 110 girls. So I got this method of body wash Trio. I actually got this at Sam's not at Target, and it was like 12 for three of them. My main goal for this target trip was to get a linen blend. Duvet cover set. I have a duvet that you can use as just as a comforter or you can put a cover over it and when I first bought it, I was like yeah, it's fine, it's cool, it's whatever, but it's honestly too thick and too big to fit in my Washer and then it takes like three hours to finish drying in the dryer. So I decided that if I got a duvet cover, it'd be a little bit easier to wash because it's not as thick as a duvet itself. So I wouldn't have to wash the duvet as often - and I do wash my sheets every single week, so I want to try this out, especially because I just want to be that girl. Basically, so I did go with Casa Luna next we got a coffee machine, so that is in the garage. I'M gon na go get it right now, but I got these coffee filters. Jonathan got this Biofreeze and then I decided I wanted to try the elf power grip because they say it's like the milk, Hydro grip primer. So if this is a dupe for that, then we're saving ourselves big money, and then I got the great lash by Maybelline. Sometimes go to the store, I try to pick up PJs for Franco, because he went wears about two pairs of PJs a day. I have to like regularly be washing it and I just wanted to add a little bit more to his collection, even though he is growing out of it. I mean these are 12 months and these fit him perfect right now. But I know that in a couple of months he's gon na grow out of these. But it's just nice to have a lot of pjs for him because he eats breakfast and you guys know they literally get so freaking dirty when they eat. So I just picked up two of these Brits bees. Burt'S Bees carry some really good quality PJs and I absolutely love them. So I got two um dinosaur sets which is so cute, and then here is the coffee machine that we got. We actually got the Black and Decker. I think it was like 30 and we just wanted something sleek and black just so we could put somewhere around here. I think it's gon na be a little like coffee bar back there, but maybe I'll put that in another video. So we got this um. The reason I got this is because I love my instant coffee, like my Nescafe, instant, classical you just like put it in the hot water and it's good to go. But I really love the idea of like waking up to Freshly brewed coffee, and I also bought some coffee from Amore's Cafe, which is Wendy's coffee company, and I haven't been able to use it because I know that it's not instant, like you actually have to brew. It so I'm so freaking excited it's 9pm Franco's been down for bed for about an hour already. So I think what I'm gon na do is wash my bed sheets so that tomorrow, which is Monday, I will be able to put a new bed sheet and my duvet cover on our bed, which is so exciting. So I think I'm gon na do that.
