All right y'all, it's time to do this comparison that I wanted to do, and I also wanted to give you guys another hairstyle Valentine's Day Valentine's Day. Celebration of all things lovely is on the way, so I figured I'd, give you another hairstyle. I have my Dyson here and I have my y'all ready like Myra, bear, there's so much more stuff um when it comes to Red Bear, but that's: okay, that's okay! That does that count in the comparison. Tell me the comments. Do you care, but I'm gon na start with the Dyson, because I think that's gon na be really fast and my hair is primed. I cleanse condition I pre-pood actually too, with oil cleanse condition and I applied leave-in conditioner and blow dry spray so that we could just get into it and go ahead and do this. So all I have on my hair, like I said, is leave-in and blow dry spray, and I have my dice in here and I have the comb attachment because there's no other way. I would ever try to blow out my hair, but I'm going to start by um just kind of getting some of the water out. It'S only been like 10 minutes since I washed my hair, so I'm gon na try setting number two to go ahead and get a lot of that water out and then I'll comb with a different setting. I don't know which setting but a different setting. First, let's see if this comb is going to go through my hair, easily yeah, I did detangle, but no no problems sweet and it's very smooth this comb um and it doesn't have like rough edges. I have used some comb attachments that are definitely taking out my hair um. This is very smooth, so I'm not concerned really. So let's do this. That really didn't take much time, not at all, and it's straight, I'm not going for like Silk press straight, but I mean geez, nice, okay, I'm not mad. Okay, let me do the rest of it and I'll tell you how long it took it was really easy. I don't know if you could see, but the comb went through my hair super easy um and it feels fine, it doesn't feel like dry or anything feels good, okay, okay, so that's half of my hair um. It looks pretty straight and pretty flat. The roots are straight, which I didn't get the last time I used the river. Let'S see what happens this time um, but yeah that works now it wasn't incredibly fast. I wouldn't say it took me about 20 minutes to do half of my hair, which y'all I have a lot of hair may not look like it because it's fine. I am no expert in blow dry technique and I didn't let my hair dry for a while before I did this because I got places to be so yeah, that's not bad at all. All right! Let me bust out the Revere, so we can start doing that. So foreign, that is, I don't - have to have good technique with this and I feel like that's a plus. I did have to figure out the fan, speed, sizes, sections and fan speed, and luckily you guys help me with that. After my original review, you guys wrote a lot of stuff in the comments. Thank you so much. I did ask for your help, so thank you, um, and what worked one of you wrote that with my texture, it would get straighter with a lower fan speed but high heat right, it'd blow it around too much and you're not gon na get as good a Result so I have high heat and four number four, just like it was suggested. Um I tried high heat High fan, which I'll show you right now. It'S not my favorite, so I'll show you that right now, so I did the highest speed and the highest heat, and it is much more textured like it. It looks straighter, but it is much more textured. So if you were to flat iron, this would not come out as well, so the person who told me number four and the speed and high heat yeah that worked really well. So that's what I'm gon na do for my hair, I'm actually going to fix this section, and I'm going to do that and I'll be back. I love that. I can prop my arm on this chair, because man, no foreign, see those lovely silver hairs. There'S so much more pair with my hair is straight uh. Let me take this clip out. You might be able to tell that my hair is flatter on this side. It'S much flatter. It'S not straighter. So if I were to do a silk press, it would probably not come out the greatest if I were to take a flat iron to this. It wouldn't come out the greatest, because there's a lot a lot of texture in my hair, which is good like if you're going to use this on a regular. I want texture in my hair right um. I don't want to take the texture out every time. The more texture you're taking out the more you're messing with your curl pattern, the more likely you are to get damage over time. In my mind, this is flatter. The Roots definitely got straight this time, so changing the speed was good um and the ends are straighter too. I would definitely say that um. Is it straight, not necessarily, and it doesn't feel as smooth either like it's it's much more textured. It'S smooth right. The technique makes it smoother, but it feels so much more textured, which is not a good thing or a bad thing right. It'S just that my hair has texture. So there's that stretch is really what it is. It'S more stretched than straight um. So that's interesting to me all right. I pushed all my hair to the back so that we can get into this hairstyle. So I'm going to take a little bit of serum. Actually that was three pumped. It wasn't a little bit and I'm gon na put it all over my head before I do what I'm about to do to it, just to give it kind of like a barrier between uh what I'm about to do to it and my hair. I have my Felicia latherwood brush here to help me. Do that, let's see, actually we can see which side goes through better yeah. Definitely the dim inside. Definitely the dice inside goes through it. A little like, I said, it's just smoother on the Dyson side, no two ways about it start with a high ponytail. This time I do want to I'm going to leave it in a high ponytail. So I do want it to be kind of well placed. I'M gon na do what everybody does. I have the got to be glued blasting free spray, I'm going to blast my edges and use this rat tail comb to really get it in there. I really just want it to be frozen in place. Okay, my high pony is now situated and I'm going to take these no snag elastics to do what I want to do with it uh. So I'm going to kind of band the ponytail. So I'm going to take this elastic, but it come down just a bit. Let'S say here and then wrap it around three or four times, and I can always cut these out, but in my experience they actually come out pretty easily okay. So let's do it again. Let'S say to here: we wanna. We want a real ponytail, so we don't want to go too far down. These are really easy to use. I like these. I get these from Ulta. They have like this. This slippery coating on them, which makes them different than the like rubbery Rubbermaid ones, that always take my hair out, see how cute this is super cute. I'M gon na do one more on the end. Pull it out up just a little all the way around, and it will give it more of a bubble. Look even with fine hair, which is pretty sweet. Now go back to this one, because every time you do it you're pulling out some hair underneath right. So you want to start at the top and go down before I tie a scarf on this. What I do take a hairpin I take this top portion and pin it to my base here. So now, one more got to be spray, tie my hair down and that's the style. I'M gon na give you my final verdict here on Rivera first Dyson. So what would I choose? Well, regardless of what you choose, if you do this, get you a nasty outfit, you slick that hair back put on a lip. You all know. I love a lip um, but I just love like this symbol face pulled back here, but it has little Pizzazz with the bubble ponytail and it is serving, and that's that on that, so would I choose the Rivera or Dyson. It honestly depends on what you use it, for I don't blow my hair out very often, but when I do, I want it to be mostly straight, because these are I'm going to get it trimmed I'm going to flat iron it something of that sort. So if that's you, then I do think the Dyson suits that better. It takes away more of the texture of the hair. It does it nice and fast um, so you're not blow drying your hair all day and it's easy to use the attachment doesn't pop off. It'S perfect to prep your hair for heat styling. I also love the Dyson for drying my wash and goes with a diffuser attachment and using the concentrator nozzle. If you are a person who blows out their hair a lot, the Revere would be a great way to go, because it's much less likely to give you damage. You could very easily get heat damage using the Dyson regularly, in my opinion, to blow out the hair. I could see it, I could definitely see that happening. It gets really hot. I did not use the high heat setting, it gets super hot, whereas the Rivera just doesn't get nearly as hot as the Dyson, but you could see the Revere at least the hair flatter right. It is just stretching the hair a lot. So if you do a lot of protective styles and you just want to easily get your hair blown out in some way shape or form, I could see the Rivera being in. If you like to wear your hair in blown out hairstyles, I could see the Revere being it right. Regardless of what you do, you still have to have a full hair care, regimen right. If you're going to heat style, your hair in any way shape or form. You'Ve got to maintain the moisture balance using strengthening ingredients in your hair and whether you own one or the other, or both like me, because that's just kind of how I roll as a hair care Enthusiast um. It will have its juices. In my opinion, I I someone listed in the comments of my last Revere video, so I'll link. It um all the ways they were using the Revere and it was quite a few and then someone also listed all the ways they were using the Dyson and it was quite a few, but you can get both of them around about half the price point. I'Ll link my video on the Dyson, so you can learn how I got mine for 230 dollars um and the Revere they just had a nice Black Friday sale that brought it down to 200 something dollars. If you use my Revere link, you'll get 10 off they're. Just ways to get money off of these things um, so you don't have to pay full price if the price is the big barrier for you, but I do really enjoy both tools and they both do the trick. So if you have one, do you necessarily need the other? It just depends on how you style your hair. Otherwise, tell me in the comments: are you going out for this Valentine's gallon dines lovers week weekend uh? If not, let me know your thoughts on the Rivera or the Dyson below. If you enjoyed this video, make sure you like And subscribe before you go, so we can see each other in the next one.

ALove4Me: Check out my Dyson Supersonic video review to see how I acquired my dryer for half the price https://youtu.be/6KRcWq9SsYU

Rina Wallace: Great comparison review. I bought my RevAir two years ago around Christmas and I have used it more in the past three months than over the course of those two years. I use it to stretch my hair for styling and I have totally gotten over the loud noise and its weighty bulkiness. I absolutely love it! I have not tried the Dyson. Your bubble ponytail is gorgeous!

Indigo Ocean - Intuitive Coach: I'm glad high/4 worked for you. That's what I do also. And yep, textured but that means less damage to me, and I am putting into a protective style after I blowout. Thanks for confirming what I suspected, even though I don't have a Dyson.

Myoko Cole: I have the revair and absolutely love it. I hardly ever straighten my hair so I couldn’t justify buying the dyson and I’m more than okay with that. I actually don’t mine the noise of the RevAir. Love the look. With this top i would wear some body shimmer (not too much) a dainty choker and hoops. I’m a gold/rose gold type of girl.

Lindsey Burnside: I have the revair and love it, because I'm not interested in straightening/further heat styling. I've been enjoying wearing stretched blown out styles as a part of my hair care, because I get fewer tangles than wash n gos. I also enjoy it for stretching an old wash and go to extend the life if I need more days and want it to not get too tangled. It's fast and easy. The noise and weight aren't bothersome. I am interested in getting a hand held dryer also though, for diffusing my wash n go.

Leticia Johnson: I have both and use them in different ways. They are both good tools.

Manestream Beauty: @ALove4Me I hope @PATTERNBeauty sends you a blow dryer so you can compare all three. Especially on fine hair. I appreciate your level of detail.

Natashya Mitchell-Hendrix: I just purchased the RevAir in December and LOVE IT!!! I appreciate the tips you shared on using the RevAir. I used After Pay and paid in 4 installments every 2 weeks. That's another option

NaturallyMe: Love that look. I have both but I tend to use my Dyson more. I actually don’t use either much but when I’m blowing it out, it’s the Dyson.

Irma Hadley: Shame they don’t sell the Revair here in the UK so I use the Dyson which I quite like but would still love to try the Revair. Thank you for your review.

mstamalaj: I had a rev-air. It was fun at first, but after awhile it became an inconvenience to have to pull it out whenever I needed to blow dry. It’s just big and unconventional (in my opinion.) I ended up finding myself reverting to my conair blow dryer with the comb attachment which I liked for the ease but hated the quality of the blow dryer. I ended up selling the rev-air and bought the dyson. I love the dyson! It’s fast and convenient. Would recommend.

brenda n: great review❤i was thinking of purchasing the dyson and this was helpful info. any thoughts on the new pattern beauty dryer? would love to see you review that one.

myrevair: Such a cute style❤ Thank you for sharing, Achia!

Diana Bryan: Your makeup always looks so fresh and natural do you do eyelash extensions? If so do you recommend them?

SandySI: Thank you for this thorough review

reggierisk: Luv my Revair. I use it every wash so I luv that gentleness.

Blessedbythebest 1: New owner of the Rev Air, I love it. I don't mind how big it is.

Delisha Banton: thanks for the comparison, do you think you'll want to compare the new Pattern blow dryer with the Dyson?

Sonya Palmer: I know you have a video regarding your greys, but I’m responding here. Can I recommend using a blonde shade semi permanent hair color on your entire head? This will blend your greys to look similar to your highlights. It will look streaked and AMAZING! I have more grey than you, and I use a reddish semi permanent hair color. I love it! If you need me to insert pics, I will.

Jd D: No one does a Lip like you boo ♥

Fit Babe: Off topic, but do you still love the Kazmaleje brush/paddle comb? Do you still use it on a regular basis?

One Flower Lover: I always get tickled every time you say you have a lot of hair.

Sable 711: When I click on blow dry spray from the description box, it doesn't take me there just takes me to an Ulta page with really nothing on it

Kearsten W: It's pretty loud,I'm kind of shocked but definitely not a deal breaker.

Apple Pie: Omg… FedEx just Delivered Mine Today!! Although it’s Not my Wash Day, I was Curious Af So I took out a Braid in my hair and did a Mini Wash on that small Section. WHENITellYou, it Exceeded all my Expectations!! Btw, If you Don’t know the Back Story of The Creator of RevAir, I Recommend you Doing a quick Google Search. The Story is Interesting.

Kearsten W: Wow the Revair really showed out!!!!

phyllis combs: What's the name of the blow dry spray you use.

Sable 711: Where did one of your viewers lift the many different ways she uses the Rev Air Dryer?

Sable 711: Pretty ponytail. What heat protectant did you use? I just tried Beyond The Zone turn up the heat and I hate it. Made my hair hard and stiff. What did I do wrong? I used the Rev Air Dryer. Only my second time and I have no idea how you got it for $230?

Scorpio Sting: Omg…ur hair has grown so long just seeing this okayyyy✌

Confessions of a Jaded Optimist : Now we need to convince you to dry the pattern blow dryer lol jk I want you to be able to retire one day

Alysia Hargrove: Ladiesssss and gentlemen ... let's get ready to rumbleeeeee
