Um, I don't know if this is how you're supposed to do this waistband is really good a little bit over and be back to show you guys the result. Oh, hey everyone. It'S Ariel welcome or welcome back to my Channel today we're trying an interesting Trend, but something that I've been seeing a lot of people on social media trying lately using leggings to get heatless curls. I feel, like we've, seen all kinds of different methods of getting heatless curls, which I love. I love that people are like trying to find creative ways to not use heat on their hair, but this is a new level. I don't know what to think. I'Ve actually seen a lot of people get really good results with this, and some people just get okay results, but I mean it's heatless and most of us have a pair of leggings anyway. So super easy to do. I mean we'll see how easy it is to do, but the concept is easy, so we're gon na try this out and I haven't seen anybody try this on natural hair. Yet it's kind of funny that I'm doing it on my blown out hair, which means I already used heat on it. But I still want to see just what it does to my hair when it's like already blown out, so I'm gon na try it out. We'Ll see how this goes, I kind of can't believe I'm about to use a hundred dollar pair of leggings to curl my hair, but just here we are so before we get into the video. Please make sure to give it a thumbs up if you enjoy it. Subscribe to the channel, if you're not already and then let's get into it, okay, so the first thing that I think I'm supposed to do is section my hair, all the way down the middle. So I do have a middle part already, I'm just gon na refine. It with my little rat tail comb, I'm just going to take this part all the way from the front to the back of my neck. Just make sure that part is nice and clean. Now that I have my two sections to work with, I'm going to take my leggings if anyone's wondering these are the Lou Lemon aligns. I was thinking about using a different pair of leggings for this, but I feel like the material of these is actually perfect, because if you were to use something like a cotton pair of leggings, which is what I feel like most leggings are made out of. That. Could potentially draw moisture out of your hair and leave you with some like really dried on ends, so I kind of was like you know what it might be worth the risk of just using these really expensive, leggings. So yeah, that's that from what I understand. You'Re supposed to put the crotch area on top of your head, so you have the waistband kind of sitting at the top and then the two legs is what we're going to use to curl each side. I'D probably start on this side, so I'm going to just section this side away for now clip probably gon na get a mirror, because I'm not gon na be able to see what I'm doing. I also forgot one thing: I wanted to put some old books in my hair. This is just the number seven bonding oil, because my hair has already been styled. It might need just a little extra something to help it like stick and hold into the curl that I'm about to put in. So I'm just going to use a few drops of this - gives my hair a bit more hold so that these curls don't just fall out right away. That is if we even get any curls and then I'll put some on the other side after because I already clipped it up, but now. Obviously the first piece has to be the front one. It'S kind of just what makes sense, but you guys full disclaimer. I don't know fully what I'm doing here. I haven't done this before we'll see how this goes. Um, okay, I'm thinking what makes sense is just to take a little bit from the back and a little bit from the front and kind of repeat that all the way down, but I don't know exactly how I'm gon na wrap this all around yet okay. So I think the main thing is just keeping my hair all like straight and smooth so that it's not getting like twirled around or Twisted too much. So I'm just taking a pretty small section from the back and then twisting that under the leggings like that and then just bringing it in the rest of the pieces that are already wrapped around then taking a piece from the front and doing that same thing. Just around the front side of it, I don't know if this is how you're supposed to do this kind of just taking a section from the back and taking a section from the front and just combining them wrapping them around the leggings. So hopefully this is the right way to do it, I'm not exactly sure and now that I've gotten to the end, I'm just wrapping it all the way down straight and then I have like a little soft scrunchie here, but I'm going to try to wrap around Here soft elastic, I should say just to secure that end in place and then what I've seen people do from here is roll the end of the legging kind of over itself, and that way this will protect my hair. While it's sitting in this legging, it feels a little bit loose, so I'm just gon na add another little elastic to this part. Hopefully that does it and I'm gon na try to repeat that same thing on this side, I'm just putting some bonding oil in again. Just starting with the little bang piece, this waistband is really getting my way here, oh my goodness and then grabbing a section from the back. So, most importantly, I'm trying to make sure I'm not twisting the leggings and also my hair, so keeping everything really flat and kind of in the same position that it's it just Falls in. Naturally, if that makes sense and twisting all of the hair away. From my face, so keeping that same direction all the way down and then now that I've gotten to the end of the Strand, I'm just wrapping this little piece down. I already feel like I did this side way better yeah, it's way more sturdy on the side. Okay, I'm gon na have to redo this one, but I'm just grabbing my little elastic again. There we go and I'm just taking the end rolling it inside yeah. I should maybe I should just leave it and see what happens because I already feel, like this side has kind of loosened the bit too. So maybe it's just gon na happen, like just from sitting I'm gon na just trust the process turn up somewhat. Okay. So now that I've gotten both sides done now, I have my waistband portion up here and I'm going to take that a little bit over my head and then also crazy, as this looks already I'm gon na tuck in the sides and there we have it. So this is one, oh, my goodness. I can't hear anything now, so this is when most people would sleep on this. Let'S sit overnight to get a full eight hours of like setting, but it is not even 4 P.M. Right now, so I'm not going to sleep anytime soon, so I'm gon na see if I feel like it's done in a few hours and come back. If not, I will sleep on it and then come back in the morning, but I feel like a few hours is probably enough time so yeah, I'm gon na. Let this sit, and hopefully curl up and be back to show you guys the result hope this isn't a waste of time. We'Ll see. I feel like this would be really comfortable to sleep on, though, which is kind of impressive, because a lot of the heatless curls methods are like wires or like rods, and just not it's not comfy to sleep on, but this I feel like. I could definitely sleep on this comfortably anyway, I'm gon na. Let this sit for a while and then I will come back and we will see the results, let's hope for the best, a few hours later, all right guys. It'S been a few hours, I'm gon na. Take this off now and see how it looks. I could feel that it was loosening like crazy, so I kind of don't have high hopes for this, but we're just gon na take this haul out and see okay. I don't really know how to do this. Oh okay, I'm actually shocked because this side looks way better. This side actually looks so good. What that's like the perfect little soft wave. I can't believe it. I thought that this side was gon na look so much better, because I thought I had like. I thought I had the hang of it on the side, but this side something happened here, I'm not sure it's just not it's not the vibe over here this side that actually looks so good, I'm kind of shocked I kind of want to like shake it all Out, though, I do also have to keep in mind that my hair was blown out before I did this, so it did have a little bit of like shape and movement in it, but I do feel like that did something like. It definitely gave me. The type of curl that I want, I feel like it's probably not gon na last long at all, like it's already kind of falling out just for me like running my fingers through and shaking it out, and that was something that I had seen. People say like At first that look really tight and like really curly, but they will fall and they don't really last very long. So it's to be expected. I guess I don't know I mean this head is really I don't know what's going on over here, but um, it's just not the same. It looks like I used two different methods which is crazy, but, okay, let me think how do I would definitely try this again. I think that I maybe just need to like try, try a different technique or change my technique. A little bit. I don't know. Maybe I did wrap them differently on each side, but I think the trickiest part is getting the back to be as curly as the front, because the front is what's getting a lot of the like twisting, because you kind of keep the legging leg uh closer to The front of your head versus the back, so the back has to come all this way and then it's like not getting very curled, especially because my hair is kind of short short to Mid length. And if you have longer hair, then there's a lot more hair to be wrapped around and curly down here. So I don't know, I think I'm definitely gon na try this again. I think that with the right technique and maybe leaving them in even a little bit longer, most people leave them in overnight. Maybe if I did that or I would have a bit more something happening here, especially because I really like how this side curled it's just, not super prominent, like it's kind of already going away, but overall, very interesting technique using Lululemon leggings as a heatless curler. I love the idea of it. I love that we are just constantly finding new ways to style our hair, a healthy way. You know like without using heat, using something, that's very soft and it's not going to damage our hair, so I'm a fan of it. I don't necessarily love how this turned out, especially this side. I feel like this just looks messy and like not properly done. This side looks really good that that's a cute shape a cute wave so guys. Let me know what you think in the comments um. Did it work, how you thought it would. Would you try this yourself using the leggings to get heatless curls? Have you tried it?
