Slick Back Hairstyle Tutorial

So, let's just see how this does so today, it's just gon na be a simple hairstyle, a classy, clean slick back hairstyle, But first you got to make sure your hair is nice and fresh after a shower or a wash, and might I recommend this clarifying shampoo And conditioner from Forte series, The clarifying shampoo is great at stripping all the product from your hair. Very simple, very easy! Anybody can do it. I promise I usually use a spray bottle, but sometimes a lot more quicker just to throw some water on your hands from the faucet and just throw it on your hair. But if you don't want to do that and you just want to go crazy with the spray bottle, I do have a little technique that I always do in the morning. I guess it's not really a technique. Actually, it's just more of a thing. I do to save myself from wetting the floor, so I just go to the shower. I sit on the tub and I just spray my hair over the tub, because when I usually do it in front of the mirror, I look down when I'm done and the floors just sprinkled with a bunch of water. But when you do it over the tub. There'S no mess to clean because it's in the tub, so there you go now. I have my handy dandy cone, my wide tooth comb, because people used to yell at me when I used to comb my hair when it was wet. But now I got a wide tooth comb because it's easier on the hair so be sure to keep note of that. Oh okay products is falling from the sky and looks like it's this Forte series - hair styling cream. So I'm gon na apply this in my hair to help influence the way that I want my hair to go and if you've seen my previous hair tutorials, you know I love my hair styling cream. So I can tell you that this thing does the job and also it just smells really good, like real good, like when you used to wake up in the morning to your mom's nice, fresh, cooking, good, all right, I'm just kidding this smells like a nice fragrance. A real good one, though I'm getting off track, but, yes, I applied the product to my palms and now I'm applying it to my hair you're, just gon na go ahead and spread it evenly throughout all of your hair and even the sides. Don'T forget those sides, because you're going to want to Slick those all right, so you wet your hair. You put the product in there and now you're gon na need your handy dandy blow dryer. So for me, I put it on warm on the medium setting, because I don't want to use too much heat and put my hair more at risk of getting damaged. But if you do want to use more heat, then all the power to you go ahead and do it, but just know that I will be showing up at your doorstep. If you use way too much heat to tell you not to do it, no more so boom here we go just gon na blow dry, the hair. This is probably the most boring part for me. I don't like doing it, but if I want to achieve this hairstyle, then it must be done. Also. I want to say that you might not even need to use a blow dryer depending on your hair type, but for me I do have to use a blow dryer, because my hair is so thick and heavy. I guess you could say um. It always just falls to the sides, especially at the length that it is right now and even sometimes after doing all this, my hair still doesn't do what I would like it to do. It'S a blessing and a curse, but I'm just saying this because I'm sure a guy with thin hair could easily achieve this hairstyle without having to involve a blow dryer. But for me, and people with hair like mine, we're all gon na need a blow dryer to achieve these certain hairstyles, and for this part I do have another little technique. Slash little thing I do to help you blow dry, your hair back. It'S annoying to have to tilt your head back all the time. Just so you could blow dry your hair back. So for me this is what I do it's kind of goofy. You could go ahead and laugh at me if you want, but I go on my bed and I lay down and I just get gravity on my side. I just lay all the way at the side of the bed. Hang my head off the edge and, as you can see here, I'm just blow drying my hair back, but it's a lot easier because I'm laying down, rather than straining my neck, tilting it backwards. I mean it still kind of hurts a tad, but not as much as standing up and tilting your head all the way back and yeah, like I said, just laugh it up fuzzball. So there you go boom, it's staying back a lot more than it did before, but of course, at the length that my hair is it still kind of falls to the sides. So now I'm just going to lift up the sides and blow dry them back a little bit more. So now I just blow dry them the best. I could they're still falling down a little bit, but I mean I'm not going to get any better than that. So now I'm going to apply this Forte series - texture, hair clay. So this is pretty much the same process of when you apply the hair styling cream, but this is just a nice Finishing Touch to get a better hold of your hair. It is a clay. So it's a lot more thicker, maybe even add some volume to your hair. If you want some more volume so yeah now, I'm just going to apply this in as well teacher all right. So I'm gon na put a little more here, because I guess I didn't put enough the first time and don't forget the sides select those sides. All right almost done last step is the hairspray and let me tell you, I have not used hairspray in a minute and unfortunately you cannot use cool George Adam for this product because it is not on the Forte series website. I got this hairspray years ago. I'M surprised it lasts this long, but you know what you can try you just can't sorry, I'm sorry! Okay, moving on so here I'm just spraying the hairspray in my hair right after the spray I just brush my hair back with my hands, so the hairspray can dry the way I want it to dry, but you got to be quick with it, though you got Ta have the sleight of hand perk. So, as you can see, the hairspray really holds it all into place. My hair is not falling to the side anymore and it's just a nice clean, classy slick back hairstyle, as I said in the beginning.
