Walking downtown and I'm okay hi guys so today I am going to be doing a few hairstyles for thick and a wavy hair aka puffy hair. Like mine. I got a lot of love on my first video on this, so hopefully this will help more people and my hair has grown since then. It used to be this short, but not lately. Up to here. I have these really easy styles that you can do for everyday they're, not too intense. It is mostly heatless, 98 %, so I hope you guys enjoy and I'll see you guys next time. The first step to all of these hairstyles is you need to cut the thing you need to cut your own hair, but I do - and I cut my own like like the side things that, like frame my face, it obviously is uneven because I cut them myself, But I think these are essential for any hairstyles, so I did their straight. You can curl the bangs. I don't know where my straightener is right now, so I'm gon na curl, using my Drybar one and a half inch wand, and I just kind of like go for a second. You don't have to use heat on this. You could like scratch it with product, but I kind of don't like using too much product it'll kind of funky you, but that's what we're gon na deal with today. This is what my hair looks like naturally, so if I don't put product in it, if I don't scrunch, it might come up with a couple, a few hairstyles that I thought of but have not practiced. So this will be an experience you will share. So I'm gon na take a regular small hair tie divide my hair in at the middle and then take little baby. Bangs out, take two fun clips. I have these pearl clips. I got from Amazon, I believe I'm gon na like fly my hair down with my hand and slide a clip through the same thing on the other side and try to keep it symmetrical. So we good take a dive, wrap your hair in a pony. You can take some hair wrap it around the elastic, secure that with a bobby pin. I think that worked and then, if you want to add texture to your pony tail, which I don't think I really need to you can add some water or some texturing sprays. So I have this dry bar triple sec or a good alternative, which i think is even better. It'S the moroccan sea salt spray which you can get at drugstores, so I'm just gon na add some water to my hands and scrunch my hair a little bit few spritzes scrunch Shh. You can wear like this compared to the side, it's a little messy, but that's how our hair is designed. I part my hair to the side and we're going to pretend we're putting our hair into a side pony I'll try to make this pretty easy, but we're going to divide our hair into two parts. When you have thick hair, it's a little trickier to do. But it's doable taking a piece from the outermost end of one of the sections bringing it to the other side again, take a piece from the outermost section of one section and bring it to the middle to the other side. So if that makes any sense for awhile, it's gon na feel like you're, not doing anything but trust me it'll, you, you can stop halfway and secure your pony right where you stopped so that you can like kind of embrace. Your big hair looks like this looks. Like a half fishtail braid, but still letting your hair breathe, now we're going to do some sort of half updo so again with the baby hairs to the side. So I think, like our hair, our natural hair is still really pretty, even though it's bigger, we should sort of embrace it a bit know. Whenever I put my hair half up, it's like oh, it's so nice that it has like all of this body and texture. I just loosely wrap her hair and do a donut shape. You can use a finger as a guide doesn't have to be perfect, loosely wrap it I'm gon na, do it twice and then just kind of pull a little bit at the bun. I think the bigger the pouf, the better I messed around with it a little bit so now I'm going to take a clip. You can use bobby pins, I'm going to use my pearl clip and just secure the back. So it's like meter. Okay, next one is Princess: Leia buns, without looking like Princess Leia. So again we're going to divide our hair into two sections with a nice straight ish hairline the hardest part about this style. Is you kind of want symmetry, but you can't always get that? That'S okay! So I'm gon na let like a little bit of my hair hang so since we have so much volume, it's not as hard for us to recreate this look, so you can either do like donut buns or you can do the messy loop. But I think that the donut buns are better for thicker hair, because the loops might be too messy so just play with it a little bit to grab it. And you want to make sure that you like gather your hair in the same section. Because you don't want a bunny here on one side and then a bun here on the other side, so mine are more towards the back and they're closer together and then we're just gon na pull them apart a little bit cuz. They look kind of alien like bringing out some like sideburn pieces and that's another we're going to divide our hair into a nice clean parked in the middle for this style and we'll use a comb, because we want our Pony to be pretty big so come in. Here, okay arm work, so we're doing asleep pull Pony to the back of her head, but at the same time we want to keep the line. So I'm gon na just bring the half Pony a little bit lower so that we can get a more prominent line. The higher you go, the less you see your hairline we're gon na bring it a little bit lower. I'M ready to secure it right, Matt, my scalp, it's a little bit of bumps, but that's okay, we're going to take the rest of our hair and like bring it up to where our half Pony is. You could use a scrunchie. You could use regular right, I'm gon na use a scrunchie secure. It tight see how big our ponytail is. But then the front is nice and sleep. So if you just want to your hair wild now, so if you want your hair, wild and out, this is a style well keeping the rest of your hair looking neat, so I parted my hair to the side and brought all of my hair to the opposite Side of my hairline we're going to take a big chunk of the top layer, break it into three just doing a regular braid, but I'm adding hair each time and twist hmmm the easiest way to mess. This up is a few grab hair from the wrong parts. So grab your hair layer by layer, as opposed to like, what's closest to your hair and I think that'll make for a neater braid. So I'm going by the middle top layer now twisting you and then you couldn't like embrace this part and just let it go or you can keep going just bring it down so that the rest of your hair is kind of like straight and then I do. Try to pull just like this part, so it's not so like, oh well, random, braids, just flinging back and forth. So I first tugged there right at the base. So it's looser! Then I go down because with if you have to care, you don't really have to play with your hair with your braids to make it like messy. But I do like to play with it a little bit at the base and it's kind of funky. But it's easy, and it's not like too hard to. If you want, you can add a clip right into the braid for something cuter with some people do multiple Clips, so they would do like something like this. You could even take the clip and secure the loose hair over here or you can place the clip lecrae on the opposite side. One more attempt we're going to take our braid and wrap it around like a donut bun like a little strange, especially since we have some loose hairs here. So I'm going to click that back with this pin and it's like a funky. You like braids, not going on there's less than pretty you want. You can add another clip here we go so I hope you guys enjoy and I'll see you guys next time if it was
