Hey guys so today I want to review the curlformers for you guys. They look like these. I'M sure you've seen them all over social media. I'Ve seen a lot of people use these and I'm surprised I haven't used them yet, but you know they've been sitting in my closet for probably four or five months, and I just haven't gotten around to it. So I want to test them out today and see how they work. I did do a video, but then the video was blurry, so I didn't get a chance to post it because it look like [ __ ]. So I've already tried these. I know how they work, but now I'm gon na show them for you guys. So, let's get into it. Okay, so curlformers you can buy them online at Sally Beauty, Amazon. I believe they're like $ 65, so they are pretty pricey. So I would definitely wait like if you buy at Sally Beauty to get a coupon like a 20 % off or 15 % off, because $ 65 for heatless curls is a lot, but I will say you get quite a few in here. You get 40 extra long and wide curlformers, so you have the orange and you have the pink. So the orange goes one way the pink goes, the other. So before we begin, I'm just gon na take some detangling spray by Amica, and I'm just gon na put this through my hair just to kind of make it a little bit damp. If you will just cuz my hair is I got a shower? I dried it. I just want to give it a little bit of moisture. Alright, that's good enough! So when you open up your curlformers in, there are two little hook things. So what you have to do is you have to take the base of the hook with the actual hook and then just put it together. So then it becomes one giant hook. Next, you want to take your curlformer there's an opening on both ends. It doesn't matter what your side you take, but you just want to put your curler or put your hook through the curler like so okay. So next you want to take a small section, don't make it very big, otherwise it'll get stuck in this and it hurts like a [ __ ]. So what you want to do is you just want to twist the hair, give it a nice little twist. Then you take the hook and then you want to watch it on to the hair. So like that, and then what I like to do is I just kind of like to bring it up. I feel like it makes it easier makes it a curl, not fall off the hook, and then you can't see, but I'm going to take, I'm going to squeeze right here and then fold the handle off of the girl form. So then it pulls my hair through and boom there. It is there's our first one. Honestly, you should probably section off your hair before you do this, but it's fine, I'm not gon na. Do that nope, alright! So again take your hook. Take your rope warmer and just put it through. Then we are going to twist a section and then take our hook and then put it on. Then I like to kind of pull it up hold on to the base and then hold the hook um. So when I first tried this, I was like what the hell like. I could not get the hang of it. It seriously took me so many tries to figure out, but once I figured it out, it's super easy honestly. I can probably get this done in like ten minutes if I wasn't filming, but I am might take over again just put it on there and then I'm gon na put an orange one back here. So just twist. Okay, I like to place my hook up. So the hair doesn't fall hook, squeeze the base, pull the bottom up well and that's how you do it and they do kind of, like you have to re curl them which is really annoying. It doesn't do it on everyone, but on some of them it does do it and it takes a minute to get it back to how it should look, but you just got ta play around with it. That'S it so I'm just gon na keep on doing this and feel free to watch. So I learned from last time to take smaller sections, because I do have thinner hair. If you have thicker hair, then you'd probably want to take a little bit larger sections. Otherwise, 40 would not be enough for your thick hair, so I used all except for these there's three four five, six, seven eight left so I 32 in my head and as you saw prior, I don't have a ton of hair. So hopefully I gives you an idea of how many to use for you but anyways, I'm just gon na. Let these sit for a couple hours, I'm not gon na sleep in them. You could probably sleep in them. I think it would be kind of uncomfortable, but I'm sure people do sleep in them. What I've learned with heatless curls in the past is that if you just leave them on for a couple hours, your hair will be curly. So that's what I'm gon na do. I'M just gon na leave them on and then I will report back to you guys. 9:31. You see it so yeah I'll, probably let these sit to like 11:30, maybe 12, that's pushing my bedtime, so we'll see and yeah I'll come back and we will see the final results. I'M back and the time is 1113, so we're just gon na take them out and see if they look like they should have some type of curl to them. It'S not, then lesson learned but yeah so to take them out. You literally just pull on them and they come out okay, so these are looking pretty good so far. Okay, so here is the side that look doesn't look that bad, I'm not mad about it. Okay, here's the last one, not bad! I mean it definitely curled. All of my hair look how short it is haha, so I'm just going to like take some of the pieces and and it wrap them around my finger. Like so say, it definitely looks different on shorter hair than it does on longer, hair. The tutorials I've seen with curlformers, it's usually done on long hair and a house like they're, really pretty spirals, but on shorter hair. It doesn't really do that. I mean there were some spirally curls, but I don't know it's just different: okay. Well, here's the girl that they used for their advertisement and these are what her curls look like. So her curls were like a different than my curls, but again she has a lot longer hair than mine. So I expect that, but you like these curls, I like him, it looks it looks honestly like curls that I would get with a flat iron or curling iron. So I I like him. I think if I left them in any longer, it would be too curly. Cuz then, like I feel like I wouldn't even be able to brush it out and it'd be like up to here, so I don't want that kind of look but yeah pretty pleased to be honest tape we'll definitely use these again. I was pretty pleased with it. I mean $ 65 and I would say that's definitely a con the price unless you can get like a 20 % off coupon and that can kind of justify the price, because you do get 40 of them and they do last a long time. So that's good they're, pretty easy to put in when I first use the curlformers. I could not figure it out. I had to watch so many YouTube video, so hopefully my youtube video will help you guys if you've never used them before, because there's a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's super easy. So I would say that's definitely a pro is that it is easy to do and it can be pretty quick if you have really thick hair. I don't know how these would work for you. There are 40 of them, so that's good, but you do have to take little pieces, otherwise it'll get stuck in the curlformer and then it hurts like a beyotch. So yeah. If you have too thick hair - and you do Caesar I'd love to hear from you. So let me know in the comments below, but for the most part I really enjoy these and I will definitely keep using them so thumbs up. Okay, anyways. I hope you guys, like this review and tutorial. If you do, let me know please subscribe and I will see you next video. I

Lori Harvey: I go my curlers from Wish. I paid $12 CAD for 4 packages of 18 curlers, which included shipping. I use about 80% of the curlers when I do my hair, because I like the fullness it gives me. I have long hair but it is very thin. When I use these curlers, I pinch the side closest to the scalp, open, so the curler is loose until the hook has safely passed through the length of the curler, both when I put curlers in and take them out. Also, when I take them out, I Hold the curler straight. Doing this I find that the curlers do not pull my hair and the curls come out more defined. I also make sure that the curlers are right up against my scalp. I pre-soak my curlers in water and I also use a curl defining mouse befre I put in the curlers. I put them in at night, when my hair is wet after a shower, and take them out in the morning. I find the curlers are easy to sleep in even when I have 50 to 70 curlers in my hair. Sometimes when I take the curlers out, I separate them out into tiny defined curls. I also have been known to define them further with some curl wax or oil. Super-defined and full! I love these curlers. I have tried many different curlers and these have been my favourite by far!

D G: Wet your hair and put mousse or gel in it before you put it in the curlers. You’ll get better curls and they last longer

Nieves H.: Squeeze the silicone tip of the curl former to easily slip your hair out. Doing this creates less damage and friction on your hair. To get the best results, use on damp hair with styling products and let your hair dry for a few hours. It doesn’t have anything to do with how long or short your hair is. It’s all about technique.

Nayra Talyne: Aah, ficou muito bonito!!

uhhimsocool: I saw a short clip of this video on a bigger channel and I wanted to see more because they are so beautiful you’re amazing at explaining

Ashley Anderson: Loved the result. So pretty!

Winnie Chiasson: Thank you for the video, it was very useful and very nice curles , I will go buy some for sure

Wendy Bell: i never have time to curl my hair in the morning so these would be perfect for that curled with a curling iron look

Nicole Marie Masters: I bought mine off of Wish for super cheap if anyone is wanting these. Great tutorial BTW. I have long hair and found it easier to straighten the curlers while taking them out.

Ameena Hashim: Thank you for your video, I received mine today so I am gonna give it a go

Lisa Hart: Great video! I was successful on the first try!

Sharon Voshell: Thank you for the video. I was struggling with these curlers. The box directions felt like they were in Greek to me. Then I watched several other videos before I came to yours, and your explanation and demonstration helped me to understand how to get these crazy things to work, lol.

Jannica Kartchner: Thank you! You actually helped with with this! I was getting so frustrated with this product!

Gladys Vazquez: Thanks for the help and heads up. I just received my curlers today!

dlooo: I love this video and your makeup it looks great! could you do a tutorial on your eyeshadow?

Angelina Harper: I have really thick hair, and the curlers worked out just as good for me.

moody lol: For longer hair.. do the curls and use Bobby pins at the ends for any stragglers, or put hair up in pony tail and curl.

Colormekrazzy: You made it look so easy

Azhia Aquiel: But first, your eyeshadow is gorgeous!!❤️

Hannah M: If you're sleeping in these curlers, use a travel pillow... It's a lifesaver!!

PEI_Witch: I got mine a few days ago for acting but there are the extra long extra thick ones because they have tried to curl my hair with a curling iron and the curls lasted about 10 minutes and it took an hour to curl all my hair but with these they last all day and they are so pretty

Rootatoot07: Awe. It's pretty. Got some for my daughter!

Marilyn Harford: Well done Lainey - thank you!

Olivia Modena: Thank you for doing this one! Been wanting to try these but seen some bad tutorials with them

Catherine Cormier McVeigh: looks great! Love your hair color too

Julia: I just borrowed these from my mom. She has twelve of them and insisted that is enough for her thick shoulder length hair (absolutely no way) I'm pretty sure I remember her calling me and telling me she didn't have enough to finish her hair when she first bought them years ago. She told me to put huge sections in at a time and that hurts so badly. I am glad I saw this video lol confirmed I was right

Oakley Perry: The curls look great on you

Jessica Soligon: Beautiful!

Sarah Harris: Your ending curls were sooo cute!! <3

hazel lily: these are so pretty!

Flower Pot: Ouch! Just a tip. When you squeeze the top while pulling them out you won't pull your hair and it helps with not making the curls fuzzy.

Stellamck: So amazing I want it !!

Arras10: Love it!

Jessica Erikson: I think if u want more spiral curls you should probably damp it a little more and leave it in a little more by I have these but your curls turned out pretty

Tammy Chance: I got mine on Ebay. 50 for 20.00 a few years back. I have thick hair. I have to small sections and twist my hair tight to get it through the slot.

soi: I'm gonna sleep in them. Remind me to update. Edit: thanks for the reminder! So yeah it wasn't as bad. I was scared to wake up fucking bald because every time I turned i heard hair ripping out of my scull and I already have thin hair, but it actually wasn't that bad. Woke up just a few times. Curls held up pretty long... recommend!

Dounya Sinno: Thats amazing keep it up

carol stevens: Well you make it look easy I tried and got thick hair and I guess I'll try again

Gypsy Spirit: Love your personality! Had me cracking up laughing.

Colombe Vermilus: very Nice!thank you for the review

Breanna Bauman: I tried this and it got stuck in my hair and it hurt really bad!

Nicole Alkabaz: This was a really good video, is it me or the pink ones are harder then the orange?

Whosoever: Thick hair, white girl. Harder to pull through, so use smaller sections, use a setting lotion and a leave in conditioner for slip, otherwise can feel like your hair is stuck in the former and you have to back up painfully.

Devin Terrazas: The instructions DO actually say to do it with damp hair! i have them.

Kira Maile: I love your eyeshadow

jana haught: Ur eyeshadow is freaking awesome! what brand and color is it??

Sophie Skull: HIya I have basically the exact same curlers and i bought for £8 on shein they are good quality and i have them in my hair right now just a tip i also got 32 in a pack and a very long wand like hers but longer.

turdferguson1983: Used (2) packs of (40) large barrel-style rollers because I have super thick hair. Total cost = $80. Took forever to put in!!

Marley Bu: I thought you looked really cute with the curlers in. But your hair is lovely.

Rosy Rose: I wouldn’t be able to keep them in long because my hair curls EASY! My hair does WHAT IT WANTS

Anna Baker: Don’t run your fingers through curls. It creates frizz and cause the volume of the curls to go down.

Richie Khan: how do you remove the hook? im having a hard time removing it

LookUpInWV: This video was helpful.

lizzy r: I got mine on eBay 40 curl formers for $20

April Coursey: One color is for one side of your head, the other color is for the opposite side. Curl away from your face.

Jessica Browne: Anyone wondering, I got mine from shein for around €10 delivered to Ireland

Neyssa: I think it looks great

Vicky: If u want more loose curls u can put your hair on a ponytail and then u can put this things on

Math is fun: Your video was so useful to me n it looks great on u. But l think u didn't notice that the pink n orange curlers have opposite directions!

Monica Searby: I paid $20 on eBay for the orange and pink ones that’s she’s using for 40.

Nikita Degnebolig: Can you use there for 65 cm hair or do you need to put 2 curlers on each section of hair?? ❤

Renegade therapist: I got mine on EBAY...........40 of them, same thing, for 19.99!

Red Orchid: since nobody is saying this..... *i recommend people with sensitive hair/scalp should NOT TRY using curl formers (above). this will make your scalp irritated, possibly burn/itch. (i have sensitive hair/scalp)*

Jynxy24: Pinch the top piece when taking out so that it doesn't hurt or ruin curl.

Ally Bee: $65?!?!?! I got mine for $20CDN on amazon!! so like... $15USD

Anna Lumpkin: Bought it from AliExpress only for around 3$

Sheila Chance Proffitt: Do you have experience with synthetic hair? I have a shoulder length synthetic hair wig and it is HD. I tried to put some curls in by myself using another brand and the ends were all out of the curl and in different lengths. So, if I do this again can I do it over the existing curl or do I need to take the time to straighten the wig first? I bet the I do have to straighten first. But, I was hoping these would just recurl the existing curls. Synthetic hair is somewhat different since it is basically plastic fibers.

Nastaran M: Thanks

Love Mimi: Can you go in the hair dryer with these anyone? Or a heat bonnet?????

Gab rielle: Groupon has these for $11-12

M C: So what is the hole below the hook for?

Andjelika Drobnjak: My hair is somewhere in between thick and medium which makes me unsure about the amount of curlers I need. It's about 8cm longer than yours and it's layered. Help please? I'm gonna look for a pack or sth like that.

candy: I got them for $4 only on amazon

Stephanie Lynn: I paid 12 dollars for the extra long generic ones on Amazon. 40 of them.

emiee Lewis: im using them now and im waiting. the ones ive got cost only a £10, hopefully it will be a good buy

Amanda Brooks-Taylor: Looks good, not sure it is something I would want to try. On you they look good. Me, I’d probably look like a poodle

Karoly Pirate: I don't know that u can twist the curler if it is straight . Btw thanks

alma: My set came with seven and it's not enough my hair is so thick and if I take a big piece it would hurt, help? But ty ❤️

Jessica Harbaugh: I left mine in for an hour and a half. My curls started falling out minutes after abs frizzing. How can I keep my hair from frizzing? I hate hair spray.

Marwa Chargi: Perfect i like

Madiha: i got 40 of em in my head rn and sleeping in them ain't it got like 2 hrs of sleep the entire night

PMcFarland: Thank God for this video cause I was like HOW THE F DO I USE THIS LOL

Mystic Zebra: I tried mine, and my hair was too long and tuck out the bottom XD

Mary-kate Mcginley: I have short hair and it is really thick and I only have a pack of 20 so I guess im going for half strait and half curl

Spooder Man: I really want to know if I can make tight curls with these

Inspired change: I want theses now

K Kaye: You just made your sections bigger than the model, that’s why yours isn’t as spirally. They prob used more than 1 pack of rollers too.
