Hello, my darlings, I hope, you're all doing fabulous and enjoying the second last week of 2015. That'S crazy! So by this time of year, maybe some of you are on vacation or prepping for Christmas festivities or just taking off some time to be with your loved ones. Whatever it may be, whatever you're doing wherever you are, I wanted to inspire you with a bunch of heatless hairstyles that are perfect for this time of year. I'Ve got quite a few hairstyles to show you today, so I'm going to make my intro as short and sweet as possible. So I know that the holiday season can get pretty hectic and it's really easy to get lost on all of the craziness. And personally, when I'm in a hurry, the first thing to suffer is my hair, and I know that I'm not alone. So I thought I'd help you girls out and show you a bunch of heatless hairstyles that are quick and easy and you can recreate in under two minutes. So if you guys want to see my quick and easy holiday hairstyles, please keep watching alright. So for this first hairstyle, all I'm doing is taking an embellished headband and I'm pulling all of my hair through it and then putting it around the crown of my head and pulling all of my hair up into a high ponytail, and in case you guys were Wondering I got this headpiece last year from Zara. I do want to mention that I am wearing a few wet from my fancy. Hair clip in hair extensions said just to give myself some volume and length, but you can totally recreate this look without clipping hair extensions. I just wanted to show you that you can recreate pretty much any look. You can imagine with clip-in hair extensions, so once I pulled my hair up into a high ponytail, what I did was take all of my hair and fan it over the base of the ponytail. Then I'm going ahead and taking another good, strong, hair elastic and tying it over the top of the ponytail just to create a bun and then I'm pulling out sections of hair of the bun to fluff it out. So this is going to create a really thick and fluffy and see textured bun, and that's exactly the look that I'm going for and all the loose hair that you see hanging out. I'M just going to wrap it around the base of the ponytail and pin random sections in place just to make the bun look more polished and once I've done that, that's pretty much all there is to this look. So the next hairstyle is another super, quick and easy hairstyle. All you want to do is take all of your hair and pull it back into a low ponytail, and I decided to leave out some face framing pieces in the front because well you know how much I love to do that. So after I've tied my ponytail in the back, I'm just pulling out some sections around the front of my face to add some volume around the front. And then, when I get to the back of my ponytail, I'm going to take a section of hair from the underside of my ponytail and wrap it around the base of the ponytail a couple times and then secure it to the underside of my ponytail. Now you can totally leave your ponytail as it is, but since it's the holiday season, I decided to add a little bit of extra sparkle to it. So I'm taking this chain head piece that I have and then just pinning it in place just at the base of my ponytail and you have these beautiful cascading chains that flow over your ponytail very beautifully, and I got this headpiece last year from ASOS. So this is another quick and easy option for those of you who don't want to do much with your hair and you just want to leave it down. So all I did was gather all of my hair to one side and then I'm taking these beautiful pearl embellishments that I got from ASOS last year and I'm pinning them on the side that I pulled away. So not only will these bobby pins keep your hair in place all night, but they also add a beautiful pop of holiday spirit. So for this hairstyle I'm taking my Zara headband again and I'm placing it over the crown of my head and making sure to pull all of my hair through it. And when I put it over the crown of my head and just leaving out a couple of face-framing pieces in the front, once I've done that and gathering all of my hair to one side and I'm braiding a loose three strand braid and I'm gon na braid. This three strand braid about halfway down the length of the strands that I'm working with and then I'm gon na go in with my fingers and gently pull apart. These sides of the braid just to make it a little bit more messy and undone looking and then, when I've done, that, I'm going to take my three sections and separate them into two sections and braid: a messy fishtail braid all the way to the ends of The lengths of the strands so after I tie off the end of the braid I'm going to go in and gently pull apart. The sides of the fishtail braid just to make sure that the size of the fishtail braid is proportional to be three strand braid. Above it, so this look is a little bit more edgier, but it's still very holiday appropriate and I absolutely love it so this next hairstyle is one of my favorites and it literally takes about 30 seconds to do so. That'S why I love it so much! I'M using my Zara headband again for this one and I'm placing the headband over my hair this time and I'm leaving out some face-framing pieces around the front and then I'm going in and taking a section of hair from behind one of my ears and I'm taking It over and under the back of the band, and I'm going to do this on both sides and I'm gon na keep repeating the exact same steps until I cover the entire back of the headband with hair. So once you're done, you should have something that looks like this, which is a beautiful twisted. Half up half down hairstyle that literally took less than a minute. You can't get much better than that and if you have a little bit more time to spare, this is another beautiful holiday option. So what you can do is you're not into the half up half down hairstyle. You can take all of the loose remaining hair from the previous hairstyle and braid it into a beautiful, loose three strand braid for this next hairstyle, I'm taking my Zara headband again, because I love it so much and then this time I'm going to take thicker sections Of hair and wrap it around the back of the band, I'm going to keep wrapping chunky sections of hair around the back of the band until I can't do it anymore and the entire band is completely covered and then what I'm gon na do is take the Remaining loose hair and wrap it towards my head, starting from the ends of the hair and working up all the way to the nape of my neck. Once I reach the nape of my neck, as you can see, I'm taking this hair and I'm kind of stuffing it behind the wrapped portion to create this beautiful twisted updo. Once that section is secure. What you want to do is run your fingers and a hair brush over the back of your head and the twisted portion just to make sure that all of the hair is smooth and that the hair looks very blended. This is especially important if you happen to be wearing clip-in hair extensions like I am just to make sure that none of your clips are visible and everything looks beautiful and seamless. So this is another holiday updo option that you can do if you have a beautiful embellished headband. So I'm repeating the same steps as I did in the previous hairstyles and I'm just taking sections of hair and wrapping them around the back of the band of my headband and then when I cover the entire back of the headband with my hair. All I'm doing is taking all of the remaining loose hair and then twisting it tightly and wrapping it around itself to create a beautiful twisted shenyang to secure the bun in place. I'M just taking a good, strong, hair elastic and tying it around the base of the bun and then I'm taking the bun itself and fluffing it out with my fingers to cover up a hair elastic and make it look more fluffy and I guess fluffy yeah. That was the word I was looking for. I have no idea why I decided to repeat it twice, but then to pin it in place and make it secure and make it make sure that it lasts all night long. I just took a couple bobby pins and pinned it in place all right, so I'm gon na take a break from my Zara headband and I'm gon na show you guys something a little bit different. So I'm taking a section of hair from the top of one side and I'm braiding it into a loose Dutch braid. Once I braided this Dutch braid, I'm gently pulling apart these sides of the braid to make it thicker and kind of pancake it out, and then I'm taking this braid and I'm combining all of my hair into a low ponytail. Once I've gathered all this hair into a low ponytail and taking the ponytail and twisting it tightly and wrapping it around itself to create another low chignon, once I have my chignon and taking my hair elastic and tying it around the base of the bun again to Secure it in place, and then I'm taking my small pearl embellishments again and then pinning them into the braid to add a little pop of holiday for this next hairstyle, I'm taking all of my hair to one side and then tying it into a low ponytail. I also left out a couple of face framing pieces too well frame my face. What else I'm rushing out this hair and then I'm separating it into three sections and I'm further separating each section into two strands and I'm braiding a rope braid. So for those of you who are not sure how to braid a rope braid, you simply want to take both sections twist them in the same direction and wrap them around each other in the opposite direction. So once I finish braiding each braid, all I'm doing is securing the ends of the braid, with a small hair elastic and then going in with my fingers and gently pulling out random sections of hair to make it look a little more fluffy. So I'm braiding in other two braids exactly the same way as I did with the first one and then when I have my three rope braids, I'm going to start wrapping them around the base of the ponytail to create a beautiful fluffy rope, braided, side, bun and Pinning all of the braids in place with bobby pins, so once I've created my slide button, it feels secure, I'm just going in with my pearl embellished bobby pins again and pinning them into random sections of the side bun to make it look a little more dressier And that moment that you have a long piece of hair stuck in your mouth, wonderful for this next hairstyle, I'm gathering all of my hair at my crown area and I'm tying it into a half-up half-down ponytail. Then I'm tying another small hair elastic a couple inches below the first hair elastic and then I'm pulling out these sections of hair in between to create a bubble effect. I'M gon na repeat this step, one more time just below the first bubble. So what I've got? My two bubbles, I'm taking some ribbon and cutting a huge piece of it and I'm doubling it up and just tying it around the ponytail and crossing it over tying it around randomly. Until I create the look that I want so look, you're gon na get from it will turn out different every single time, but the result is going to be a beautiful, irregular, fluffy ponytail and what I like to do when I get to the very last bottom Elastic is tie the ribbon into a beautiful bow. This is a perfect option for those of you who want a more festive look, but don't have any hair accessories lying around at home. You can easily pick up a spool of ribbon for a dollar two at the dollar store and it was going to instantly add some holiday glam to any hairstyle. So I wanted to show you guys another hairstyle that you can do using some ribbon. So what I'm doing is I'm taking that same piece of ribbon that I cut before and I doubled it up and I'm tying it around a section of hair at the front of my head after I've done that I'm taking the section of hair and I'm separating It into two sections and combining a section of ribbon into each section and picking up a third section on the outside of that section. Then I'm taking these three sections and I'm starting to braid a Dutch braid. How many times did I say the word section in that sentence? So as you can see the third section that I took on the outside of those two ribbon sections, I crossed it over those two sections to cover up where I tied the ribbon. So I'm braiding a French Dutch braids to braid a French Dutch braid. You want to simply start out with three sections cross: a one of the side strands under the middle strand and cross the other side strand under the middle strand, and then from that point forward. Every time you cross a side strand under the middle strand, you want to incorporate a section of hair from the outside of that strand that you're crossing under so just repeating these exact same steps until I run out of hair to work with, and then I'm going In with my fingers and fluffing out the braid to make it thicker and also to make the ribbon more pronounced, once I ran out of hair to add into my French Dutch braid and just going to continue down with a regular Dutch braid and tie off the End of the braid, with a small hair elastic and then use a pair of scissors to trim off any excess ribbon, so that the ribbon is the same length as my braid and lastly, I'm going to go in with my fingers and pull apart. The braid a little bit more just at the base and pull out the ribbon to make it even more pronounced. So for this next hairstyle and taking a section of hair from the top in middle of my head. And I'm separating this section into two strands and braiding a rope braid so again to braid a rope braid. What I'm doing is taking these two strands, twisting them in the same direction towards my face and wrapping them around each other away. From my face, I'm going to repeat these steps all the way to the bottom and tie off the rope braid with a small hair elastic and create an identical rope braid on the other side, once I finish braiding my two rope braids, I'm taking this metal double Headband and I'm placing it over the crown of my head now, this is completely optional. I just feel like it looks a little bit more festive and is perfect for the holiday season after I've done that, I'm taking all of my loose hair and tying it into a low ponytail. Then I'm picking up a big chunk of hair from the underside of the ponytail and I'm separating it into two strands and braiding another rope braid. Once I braided my rope, braid I'm taking it around the base of the ponytail and wrapping it around several times and pinning it in place with a bunch of bobby pins. Once I feel secure, I'm taking one of these side, rope, braids and wrapping it around the base of the ponytail and also pinning that in place with bobby pins and once that one feels secure and taking the last rope braid on the side and doing the exact Same thing, in the opposite direction and for the last heatless holiday hairstyle, I'm using the exact same double metal headband, and I just placed it over the crown of my head and I'm taking all of the loose hair in the front of my face and I'm braiding. Each section into a regular three strand, braid: what's a braided about halfway down and just taking each braid and pinning it behind my ear and making sure that all of the hair around my face is pinned back and away. This is a beautiful and simple holiday option that will also look great without the headband. If you don't happen to have a headband like this, I just feel like the headband adds a little bit of extra polish to it. But if you were just to braid the two sections of hair around your face and pin them behind your ears, you would still get a beautiful holiday. Inspired! Look! Okay, my love, so that wraps up today's video. This just goes to show that even a simple hairstyle can be taken up a notch with some simple hair embellishments that you already have, and if you don't happen to have any hair embellishments laying around in your house, you can just go pick up a spool of Ribbon for a dollar or two and you're good to go it's a unique and personal touch that is gon na give any hairstyle extra style cred, and it's super super easy, which is right up my alley.
