5 Heatless, Running Late Hairstyles | Courtney Lundquist

Hi guys it's Courtney and welcome back today I have five different heatless and running late hairstyles for you that are all really cute and really easy, and this is what my hair looks like when I wake up and I've done nothing to it. I didn't want to curl it beforehand or straighten it or anything, because this is what my hair would look like if I was actually running late. So I wanted to feel with you guys. My hair doesn't look all that great when I just wake up. So, if you're in the same boat as I am, I have some cute hairstyles to spice it up for you on that same note, so like when I'm in school a lot. But what I like to do is curl my hair in the night before or straighten it, and it's super easy in the morning. So that's a little tip for you. Of course it's not heatless, but it does save you a lot of time in this. Video is also a collab with Brittany, Orman Brittany, Bratz here on YouTube. She was probably the first person I ever clapped with on YouTube. We'Ve done quite a few, and we haven't done one in a long time, so she's also going to be doing five hairstyles. So I'll link her channel and her video down below so make sure you check hers out and if you're here from Brittany's channel hi and let's just jump into it already. Okay, so for this the first look: we're grabbing both sections from the sides of our ear and twisting it back. Then you just want to go ahead and hair tie this and we're gon na. Do the old pony tail flick. You could use more hair than I did or less it just depends. How big you want your twist, then we're just gon na do a regular, braid all the way down our hair. This is probably gon na, actually work better. If you have shorter hair, so we can make it work either way. So once you get to the end, you don't want to tie it off just yet. I like to pull out the braids, make it a little more thick and fluffy. This is up to you, but if you want to do this, make sure you tie it off after so then I'm going to fold the ends under and then I'm going to tuck. The end of that braid under the twist, the twist itself is gon na hold the braid in place. But if you want to, you can add a couple bobby pins just to really secure it in, and this is the first updo the next one is another like messy updo. I love updos when I'm running late, and you just want to pin back this bang section of your hair, whether you have bangs or not, you just want to pinned it back on both sides and give it a little bit of bump to it. It doesn't have to be too much and then we're gon na gather all our hair up, and you can do this in a ponytail, but I think it looks really cute just in a regular messy bun. So I just like to pull my hair half way through and then I wrap the hair tie around and then I just kind of fold it all over. I don't know if that made any sense, but it's a lot easier. Just to watch me then, for me to explain it. Then you just want to pull out this top section. Don'T worry about it too much it's supposed to be messy, so it doesn't have to be perfect, and then I just like to pull down a few hairs in the front. Now, if you want your bun to be a little bit higher and like a little more poofy, you can just go ahead and bobby. Pin it up, you could just do it. Whichever way you like best and there's the second look for this next look: we're gon na start on whatever side you normally don't part your hair on and then I'm going to rope braid. The key to this is just how you position your hands, and you want to make sure your hair is really smooth, so basically you're just twisting two pieces together and adding some hair along the way. Now, once you get all the way around to the other side of your hair, we're going to go ahead and start to fishtail braid, you could also do a regular braid if you want or just twist it all the way down. If you don't know how to fishtail, it's super easy, you just split your hair and and then you grab the outer hair and cross it over and again, I'm just pulling this out before. I hair tie it in place because I love messy fishtail braids just like so, and there is the final look and of course you got to stop and take a self now you might be like Courtney, who has time to fishtail braid if you're running late. So here's a little trick - and all you have to do - is take some clear. Elastics and hair tie your hair off a little bit down and then just flip your hair through you can flip it through once or twice, and then you just want to tighten it up and it kind of gives the illusion of a fishtail braiding. So this is a good alternative. This next one is really really easy. You could just pull your hair back either straight or braid it back, whichever you think, looks best, and then it works best if you have different colored bobby pins. But you just want to position your bobby pins to form a triangle and it's kind of cute and kind of different and not something you see every day. So I think this is really really easy, fast and cute as well. Now, I'm in love with this last look you just want to pull back the hair on the side that you don't put your hair on and just hair tie it back like so, and then we're gon na go around to the front section again and take the Other side and start to twist it back once you smooth it all out just twist it back, and then you want to tie that off to now we're gon na tuck the first side and wrap around the main side over and under and pin it in place. This is gon na hide all the hair ties. I hope I'm really bad at explaining that I hope you were able to see it a little better and then just involve a pin it in a place. So then you have no hair ties or anything showing now. If you want to, you, can leave it straight or go ahead and breathe the ends, alright, guys that completes the five hairstyles.
