Heatless Sock Curls On Natural Hair | This Way Work Best!!!

What'S up guys and welcome back to another video of, as always aaliyah where we always keep it real now, y'all in this video as you've seen by the title, we are going to be doing some sock curls, so i am so excited to be doing this video. I have not done sock curls in probably over a year now i do have a video on my channel of me doing it. I believe last year, i'll have it linked up here somewhere and at the end of the video and in the description below. So you guys can check it out, but it is certainly time for an upgrade. So i'm going to show you guys the easiest way to install sock curls, and this is perfect for anyone who is trying to stay away from heat all right, guys, let's go ahead and hop right into it. Okay, so before we get started, let me go over everything that you're going to need to perfect this hairstyle. So, of course the first thing you're going to need is socks, and i got these off amazon i'll make sure i have everything linked below for you guys. So, of course you need some socks, and these are these are 10 pairs, so there's 20 socks total in this pack. Okay, so you guys also are going to need some clips. I have mine here they are imperative. You guys will need clips for this hairstyle. The products that i'm using today to do this hairstyle is from asset naturals and right. Here i have their lotion. I also have their curling custard, which i love we're going to be using their um curl wave twist shaping jelly, because we will be twisting and curling. Today and then, of course, you're going to need a comb and a brush, i just have my felicia leather wood and a rat tail brush and now y'all. I am starting on blown out hair if you want to start on what hair go for it, but i ain't got no time to be waiting for these to dry, so i'm starting on blowing out hair and we're not going to be using a lot of product. Also because we want these to dry quickly, all right without further ado, let's get into the best ways to do stock, curls, the aaliyah style. The very first thing that you guys are going to want to do is decide where you want your hair to be parted. At um i have my hair parted on the side. Just a little, you part action, but you part your hair, whatever you think is best. So the next thing i'm going to do is just part, my hair down the middle, so i have two halves going on right here and then we're going to go ahead and just put one half up and out the way. Okay. So now that i have this section here, i'm going to break it down even even further, with a front section and a back section, just dividing it evenly all right back section is right here now this back section, i'm probably going to use um four to five Socks hopefully, but we will see, i only have 20, so i got to make it work and there is more hair on this side because my part is over here. So we got ta make these work. You only got 20 socks, so we gon na get this together. But let me go ahead and get this first section together all right y'all. So i did one in the back just to make sure i still got my technique down, but now i'm gon na show you guys how to actually install these so go ahead and take down that back section, and the very first thing that i'm gon na do Is use the uh triple moisture lotion and we're just gon na coat that section now again, we are not using too much product y'all. I think that is more than enough. Okay, so go ahead and give that back section a good nice coat get some moisture up in there. These products smell really good by the way they just leave your hair, nice and silky so definitely go check them out all right. So now that i got that whole section coated, i'm just going to take off a little piece. So that's going to probably have to be my section right there. The first thing i'm going to go in with is their curl wave twist shaping jelly, and i'm just going to take that and coat the section all right. So next i'm going to go in with the work it your way apply and go curling custard. This is just like their jelly and then i'm just going to brush it through so everything's, nice and even all right. So now here comes the fun part you're going to want to take your sock. Here is mine, and again i got these directly off amazon guys and what you're going to want to do is attach the uh toe part to your scalp. So all you're going to want to do is take it and attach it right above your section. So here's my section right here, i'm going to put my sock right here and then i'm just gon na clip it. That'S all so it's secure. I don't have to worry about it all right. So now i i literally have my two sections of hair. One is the hair one's the sock. Are we gon na twist it off twist really tightly um? Just because i want a really nice defined, uh curl, so i'm twisting tight here, i'm trying to make it defined. Well, the parts i'm trying to keep it even so. It can be like a nice even spiral curl, and then i am realizing that my ends are just a little bit dry. So i'm going to add just a touch of the gel right to my ends. Alright, so go ahead and keep twisting and then once i can't twist anymore, i'm going to pinch it and hold it right guys. Now this is the paw pay attention, y'all twist it and hold, and i'm actually going to twist um pinch it with my right hand, and then i'm going to go into the sock like i'm putting it on my arm. It takes a second to get in there, but once you're in they get in there, so my hand is literally in the sock, guys. Here'S my hand, i'm gon na take my hand, that's in the sock pinch it with that hand. Now my hand's free and then cover it. Ah you see that right. Then we covered it right now we're going to take this part off the clip and then take this little access part the little flappy part and you're gon na just tuck it in there just tuck it and cover it on up y'all, there's a whole curl in That sock that's exciting y'all. These are some heatless curls they're gon na turn out fire. I already know so that is literally how you do it um. Let me go ahead and knock out this back section and i'll come back when we get to the front. So you guys can really see the technique, all right, hey y'all, so i am done the back section of my head and there are about five socks back there. I think i'm just gon na do four on this side and probably six on this side. I don't know because there's more hair over here, but go ahead and take down that uh next section y'all. The very first thing we're going to do again is just apply some moisture lotion. All right. That'S all i'm using! I don't want a lot of moisture. We wanted to dry okay, focusing on this section right here. First, applying the curling custard just a touch, and then next i'm going to go in with the shaping jelly, because we want the soft curls to shake. Now i'm going to just brush everything to make sure everything is smooth. Here comes the technique, y'all, so take out your notepads all right, i'm just kidding but go ahead and take your sock and place it right above the section. So here's my section: here's where my section starts right here: i'm gon na place the side curl like right there. It doesn't have to be perfect. So then you're just gon na clip it. So it's secure right at the tip for the toe. You have your sock. You have your section of hair: now we can start twisting but go ahead and just start twisting the sock around the hair and the hair around the sock tight, tight, don't let it loose ever try your best to make it uniform so go ahead and keep on Twisting it down super tight, like look at how flat it is compared to the sock, it's a really tight, all the way down, and then once i get to the m, you just add just a touch of the jelly, so the ends always get a little bit Extra love all right and now that i have no more hair left, i'm going to pinch it with my right hand, okay, right hand, pinch the ends, take your left hand and go up the sock as you're like like you're, putting in one like that. It'S so much easier to show you than say it yo for real. Now, i'm going to take my hand, that's in the sock and pinch it so i literally transferred it. This hand is free, i'm pinching, my end the hand is in the sock. Okay, now you're going to want to take the sock and just pull it over your hand and over your curl just like that. Even if i let it go, it's really not going to wear okay. So now all i'm going to do is take out that clip and then you're going to want to take the excess right here and tuck it and just make sure it's all nice and pretty and everything is tucked in there. That'S it got yourself, a nice tight, tucked, sock curl and it's really easy once you get it, i mean the back probably took me about five ten minutes to do um, so we're just gon na keep moving on like this, but i'm gon na keep doing it Until you guys get it down uh, this is fun. They'Re gon na turn out fire. I cannot wait. Let'S keep moving. Do so hey y'all all right, so we are on our last two and i'm gon na come back on camera and do these, but so far so good guys - and i have more than enough to complete the style. So i'm really happy about that. And now all i'm gon na do is take the sock where the toe part is and hook it above, where the section is so. The section is here: i hooked it here and then i'm just gon na take it and insert the twist. I know it looks like a lot going on because i have so much on my head, but it's okay and just make sure you're twisting tight that it's uniform to the best of your ability. Now i'm gon na do is pinch, it don't let it loose guys and then work your other hand, your left hand up the sock now unpinch with your right hand and pinch with your left. Your right hand is now free, go ahead and loop, just like that, and then take the clip off and then that extra flap that you have goes inside the sock and then you're pretty much like tucking everything with a little little leg or something little foot. I don't know just put it on there and it's literally good to go the sock. Curls are complete, i feel so funny but uh. I know my curls are going to be bummed. So don't hate me because you ain't me: honey, i'm just kidding but y'all. The soccers are complete, i'm about to go sit under the dryer an hour two hours - i don't know, but i'll be back when they're dry to show you guys. The final results, if you did think that this technique was awesome, it is an original by myself. I have not seen anybody in sauce install socks like these in their hair um. So this is an original honey. My sock curls uh. So let's just go ahead and see how the sock curls came out. So i'm gon na show you guys exactly how to take these out and we're just gon na start in the front, because it's a little bulky to start in the back. I'M gon na take this off. That comes out unravel it down, and here it is right here and let me just go like this and they smell good. It'S like 90 dry y'all, see what i'm doing, take it down and then watch how i unwrap it don't start to unwrap it this way. I feel like it's going to just mess up the curl just rot it through at the top, take it out at the top unwrap it at the top. Just like that, y'all she smell good. Okay ma'am, i told y'all. They was gon na come out bomb, so they are probably like 85, especially in the front, it's probably 85 dry and the back is probably like 95 dry, because when i was drying it, the heat was coming from the back um. I think i'm gon na let it dry a little bit before i start to unravel them um, but yeah y'all yeah.
