Voluminous Heatless Curls Overnight | Beauty Hack You Need To Know

Hey guys, my name is Alena and welcome back to my channel if you've been here and welcome if you're new subscribe during the family, we're super names here today, I'm gon na be showing you guys how to do this cuteness curls situation. I really think hair. I hate curling, my hair. It takes way too long and if I can do this with no heat and wake up like this girl, of course, I will of course I'd rather do like a few touch-ups then have to like curl my entire head of hair. So because this like was acquired through damp hair, like sleeping with it, these curls will hold a whole lot longer. So, if you guys want wait till the end of the video I'll show you I'll do a little vlog snippet of what this will look like on. Second day, so it's not only investing in like tomorrow's hair but you're investing and the day after is here as well, because these curls hold so stinkin. Well, you guys see they are like they're tight, they're cute. I love them, so you guys want to know how to accomplish this. Just stay tuned, we're currently in my bathroom and I'm gon na show you guys exactly how I do my heatless curls and I want to show you my hair is currently drying. I washed it tonight and it's still in the process of drying. I immediately like squeezed out as much water as possible and then I used kind of like a micro fiber towel. This is really still going up. Are you kidding me this towel and this is called the. I think it's called the equus. I don't I don't really know. I got it from like a goodie bag. It'S a lot better to have damp hair because then it just dries with curls in it. I'M going to go and add more water to my hair, because here, for the most part, it's dry, so I'm just going to wet it just lightly, so I can add product to it and I'm gon na do it on the bottom. I love the spring on this in the back of my head, so after I wash my hair and it's damp, the first thing I apply is some sort of a serum. Now I like to use this, not your mother's all eyes on me ten and one a hair Perfector. This is naturally infused with keratin. I just like this because I feel like it helps with my friends and especially if I want waves and curls, I'm gon na be sleeping on it. I do not want any any type of frizz, so I'm just gon na liberally spray. This throughout my hair - and I use that every time like not just when I am doing heatless curls so now, I'm going to be using my wet hair brush and I'm just going to brush through the hair and make sure you're using a wet hair brush. Don'T use a normal brush if you're using a normal brush, that's not meant for wet hair you're gon na damage it. Okay. Now that I brush to the hair there's a few other products I use first thing I like to use is always the thinnest project, and then I go to the thickest consistency so behind that product. This is something I adore. I love this stuff and this is called the dream. Curls daily styling spray defines and adds of balance to curl, it's really thin formula. So I like to apply this second because it just feels like water in your hair. I really focus it on the places I have a hard time holding a curl. Now again, I'm gon na brush it through my hair. Just let the product is evenly dispersed. Then the next thing I'm going to apply is a little bit of a thicker kind of leave-in conditioner. When I am thinking about doing heatless curls, I usually use a little bit less of a conditioner in the shower, and so I do that because I want my hair to still have a balance, but I like to control how much conditioner stay isn't it? So I will apply a little bit of a leave-in cream, there's two different ones I like to use, because there are pretty lightweight this one is the frizzy is daily nourishing leave-in conditioner, and this one is a satin dream, weaving cream with argan oil at the tangles Smoothes and moisturizes for all hair types. Now this I use when I'm more like on the cruel side, and this when I want to make sure my hair is straight. This also smells amazing. I love it. I love this one so much, but today I'm gon na use this one. The way this video is not sponsored by John Frieda, I just really like their four products. The key when you want like curls and stuff is just to make sure that your hair feels lightweight and the reason why I'm using so much it's that long hair. So if you're shorter hair, you should not be spraying as much once again we're gon na brush through, and they could have easily done this all without the products. But you guys will see the products will make a huge difference in terms of how the car looks and how the curl stays. So now the hair is starting to get a little bit sticky a little like tacky. You can tell that it has some sort of product in it which is perfect. So the last thing I'm gon na do is I'm gon na use. The John Frieda Frizz Ease air drive waves, styling foam. I am using this just to add a little bit of control to my first. I am really bad for us, and so for me, I just need a little bit, but I'm going to focus this only from like ears down. I don't want it high in my hair, you guys can see. I do I like I mean I have a lot of hair. I feel like. I focus that too low too much all at once. I got like really in here: use less I'm gon na apply it twice. I just always try to do it all at once. So what we're gon na need is a long sock I like to use fuzzy socks because they don't absorb anything which is nice. What we're gon na do is we're gon na start the sock right on the top of our head and then we're going to take the crown we're gon na curl away from the head. Just try to lay it flat. So once you have you like your last little bit, you can either tie it here, which I'm actually gon na do with the scrunchie cuz scrunchie is, will keep it tight without leaving a bend on the hair, which is nice okay. So what we're gon na do now is you're gon na hold the sock you're going to twist it as close as possible to at the head and what you're going to do? You are going to tie it up here and just like that. We'Re gon na sleep with a weird little sock attachment in our hair, but we're going to do four sections and now that we look crazy, we are ready to go to bed. Basically, this is what it looks like. If you have thinner hair, you might not need all four of these or, if you're the contrary, and you have even thicker hair, then you might need more than just four, but I usually like the way that cool my curls are like the thickness of them. When I use a for socks, so this is exactly what I'm gon na. Do I'm gon na sleep on it and then I'll show you guys what it looks like in the morning. Okay, so I woke up and it's all still intact. The only thing is, I feel, like I slept more on this side. I guess because this part just feels a little bit damp, so I'm going to like brush my teeth, eat breakfast do whatever I got to do and then I'm gon na do the removal a little bit later. Alright. So I feel like it's mostly dry now, so we're going to remove the socks, so I'm excited - I haven't done this in like a hot minute. So let's see we're gon na untie this and then I like to pull the scrunchie off and you guys see it's like holding on and at this point, if you feel like the curl isn't holding, then I would use um a blow dryer on like cool or On, like a light, warmth and just blow dry this so that it holds but seems like mine, is holding. Oh, my God, look how cute my curl is now. Don'T worry. It'S not gon na stay like this. We'Re gon na separate it, but how cute is that it's like really tight too, which is nice, I'm not gon na brush it out or touch it yeah, I'm gon na. Let it like chill and do the other ones see how it like holds like nothing falls off. That'S what you want. It'S the whole point of this. I like to pull the sock down. Oh my God! Look how cute that curl is. I don't like the way that the hair was holding here. I guess I was sleeping weird, so I do want to straighten this. You don't necessarily need to use like fuzzy socks. You can use cotton socks. I'Ve used like really tall cotton socks before um. Those just end up kind of damp and wet because they do absorb the water. So just be aware that you need to make sure, like your hair is not like dripping wet when you put it into the the curls. Oh my gosh! So pull this off. Do you see how it holds, though, like that's insane to me like no matter how much I shake it? It'S like adhered to the sock cute, but like again, you see how, like I slept weird, and this top part needs a little bit of adjusting. So what I'm gon na do is I'm going to grab the straightener and straighten this here. So for me, I like the tighter curls initially, because then, if I like shake it out and I put like product in it, it will look big voluminous and, if I don't put like too much hairspray in they will loosen up. But this also means that I can have this for multiple days, because if it's this tight, that means once I shake it up and like loosen it up a little bit. Your girl is gon na, have a nice beautiful girls for at least three days and that's really exciting. Oh this feels a little bit damp, but to me that feels a little damp to me. We'Re going to blow-dry that one really quick, actually gon na shoot a makeup brush and I'm going to twist the curl around the make up brush and I'm going to blow-dry this. It'S going to be a little weird all right! Let'S see how that that feels. So much more dry, so I'm just gon na. Let that sit there and now I'm gon na straighten the tops right here. I just want to get rid of the weird bump, but besides that, I'm totally okay with any bumps of curls, and I want this to be a little bit more crown, so I'm actually gon na hold my straightening iron just to kind of clamp it. This was right now we look a little like this we're gon na separate the curls, I'm gon na start from the back, I'm just gon na pull out one piece at a time this one turned out so well, I just don't have a paint, the patience to Curl my hair back too much of it and it just takes forever. So this saves me a lot of time, but isn't that so pretty we are going to first, I'm gon na apply the Frizz Ease dry oil, I'm gon na just separate the curls just to give them some shine, I'm hitting it with a little bit of texture Spray: okay: now I'm gon na take this powder, and it literally just looks like a white powder. You'Re gon na put this into your roots, it's easier when you don't have such long nails bigger voluminous curls, although I do need to fix a few of these guys over here. Okay, so this is the finished. Look. I fixed up a few of these pieces and I just hit them with a little bit more of the texture spray and then I separated them with my nails. So this is what the curls look like. They look really defined, but I think I might show you guys a really quick blog clip tomorrow. Just so you guys can see what they look like once they kind of drop hey guys. So today is actually the second day of my curls. I wanted to just pop in to show you what they look like. They still are very much alive, I mean. Obviously there are some parts that kind of fell and are a little bit less than perfect, but for the most part they look amazing. So, just so you know they do last. I just added a little bit of conditioning spray this morning and that is it, but look they're seriously. Amazing, not the way that these look. They just look so voluminous and beautiful, see how pretty that is like they were. Just so pretty really loved the way this turned out, I'm so happy with what it looks like, and I hope you could just try it and if you do is send me a before-and-after, I love seeing you guys, try out the things that I do on my Channel because it just makes me so happy it like shows me that, like the things that I do on the yarn just like DOM and me talking to a camera like you guys, I just like try things, and it just makes me so happy.
