Hey y'all welcome back to my channel, so in this video I will be showing you how I do my steam roller set. This is one of my favorite styles in the wintertime, because it keeps my hair stretch. I don't have to wet it and have to worry about it drying and have wet hair and going out into the cold, and all of that it's super super super easy to maintain because you're using steam. It really helps to lay down the hair, cuticle and moisturize. It without using any extra product, so there are a lot of great benefits to using steam. Rollers I'll talk about it more I'll. Give you some great tips on how you can get your best steam roller set, but I'm starting out on a blowout. It'S not super straight, which is how I like it for this style. It helps to give a little bit more volume. I have a video on how I got this blowout, so the link will be below, but let's get into the video all right. So I'm going ahead and put the rollers in all the way around, and I just have this section left. So I'm going to show you what I do and give you tips as I go to make sure that you get your perfect steam roller set. So no product, we are not putting any product on at this point. The product should have been put on when you blow dry, your hair from here you're just putting the roller in well. You know what I like. The only product I'm going to be using is hair spray and that's just to make sure that I get some longevity out of the side. You can certainly not use hair spray, but I've done that and the curls only lasted like two days, but with the hairspray. I can get a lot more time out of it, so I'm using the Garnier anti humidity, volumizing hairspray so other than the hairspray. There is nothing that you're putting on your hair, and I know for us Naturals. This might be a little weird cuz. We'Re used to down - and I hear a product before we do a style, but that's gon na ruin this style, you don't want to put anything on your hair, except for the hairspray and now we're gon na move forward so yeah. All these are my final results for my steam roller set. It is so I'm gon. Na be honest, it looks really good. In my opinion, it looks really good, but I've seen it look even better because telling y'all I'm really trying to adjust to doing things on a baby like I never realized how so many little things could be so different when you're dealing with a newborn. So my daughter is at the point where she's putting her hands in her mouth a lot, so her hands are always wet today. When I pick her up, so she has wet hands that she touches my hair. She frizzes it out and then she pulls it out. So I think it looks a little frizzy er than it normally would, because I've had wet hands in my hair, but it so looks beyond that um. Even with that, I think it looks really good. It is super soft, which is so one of the things that I love about steam roller sets. Is you can get a similar look as you would if you use perm rods or even flexi rods or a wand curl, but you don't have to deal with wet hair like you, would perm rods or flexi rods and dry in the drying time? And you don't have to deal with heat like you would want. So, although these might not last as long as perm rod, flexi rods or wand curls, I think it's perfect for say you have somewhere to go and you just need your hair to be done quickly. You need to wash your hair blow-dry it, and then you don't have the kind of time to sit and let it dry and all of that that's kind of where the steam rollers come in. I'Ve been kind of wearing my hair like this all winter because, like I said it's just easier for me right now, and every couple of days, I'll just put back in the rollers, let it sit for an hour and boom. I have a fresh set, and I and I'll do that like once in between washing and then I wash it and do it all over again and then it can kind of morph into other things. If you wanted to go ahead and do a twist out on dry here now, it's stretched and it's in a good. It'S in good condition, and you can go ahead. Do that so because I have been using the steam rollers for a minute. Now I have some tips and tricks to give you so that you can get your best steam roller set. So I think it's worth it. I think it's a great investment I'll show you how I preserve it at night and I'm not saying that this will last a week two weeks, but if you need to do it again, it's so easy, like you just put it in you, let it sit and Then you go on about your way, so pay attention. So this is day three or four here I think it's day three, I just wanted to come on really quick before I went to bed to just show you what it's looking like after a couple of days as you can see, it does frizz out a bit. It gets bigger, but it still has a lot of definition. There'S still a lot of pearls there. So that's one of the things I love about this style. It doesn't take a lot and you can keep before a couple of days and it's so easy to maintain. I'M going to show you how I do it at night, so here in the next clip you'll see what I've been doing every single night to maintain massage. So I gather up all my hair and put it at the top of my head and then I put my scarf on to secure it, and then I throw on a bonnet that is pretty much a pineapple. Now, if you're not a big fan of the pineapple, you can also do a low ponytail I've done that before, but that typically for me, works better with the wash and go, and this works better for this stuff. So as pretty much it's a really simple nighttime routine, but thank you guys for watching make sure you comment like and subscribe. So thank you so much for watching. I will see you in my next video bye,
