Summer Claw Clip Updo On Curly Natural Hair | Quick & Easy Hairstyle

Hey you guys it's salia and i'm back with another video. So today i'm going to show you how i did this super cute style. It'S actually trending right now. These claw clip styles on curly hair and i needed something quick and simple to do and it came out super cute. So if you guys are interested just keep watching and i'll show you what i used, how i got this and etc alright, so i had taken my hair out of that low ponytail that i actually posted a video for so my hair was dry. It was tangled my scalp was itching and yeah it's time to wash it, but i'm going to be using products from the brand imbue. If i'm not mistaken, you can get these from target. From like 12 to 15 they're, curly girl, friendly they're, free of silicones, parabens alcohols, mineral oil, waxes, etc. So i wanted to try these out and see. You know how they work on curly hair. So i just drenched my hair underneath the running water tried to loosen up any like big tangles that i had and then i'm going to start with the curl, liberating sulfate free, shampoo um. Again, the products are vegan cruelty free and this is meant to cleanse nourish and moisturize, and it's made with coconut and kapuasu. If i'm not mistaken now this says that it's moisturizing and nourishing scalp friendly and leaves your hair soft, smooth and without frizz. So i'm just gon na do what i typically do with all my other shampoos just work it onto my hair strands as well. As my scalp give myself a nice, you know cleanse. I can definitely say that this felt moisturizing on my hair um. I wouldn't say super cleansing, though i felt like i had to add a lot of this to get my scalp to feel the way i wanted to feel nice and clean um, but once i added a nice amount of it, then i was getting that feeling it. I also was able to get more slip as far as like just running my fingers through my um so yeah i am going to rinse this off and when i rinsed it, my hair felt really good. It felt so soft and moisturized. This didn't give me like a super clarified, feel um, but it felt pretty clean all right, so the shampoo was step one cleanse. This is step two condition: it's the curl respecting conditioner um, it's supposed to nourish moisturize and detangle, made with the same key ingredients, but also olive oil. It'S super creamy, you guys and as soon as i put it on my hair, my hair, i just knew that i was gon na love this because it was so softening so yeah. It is supposed to leave your hair super soft, which it did um effortlessly detangle, which you guys will see in just a second. I drenched my hair just to get some added slip, but i probably didn't even need it because my fingers literally were just gliding right on through as well with the help of my acrylic nails. I don't know about you, but when i don't have my acrylics, my nails are just too soft to really get my tangles, so i can say that my acrylic nails help help me detangle my curly hair. So let me know if you guys are the same, but yeah there's nothing else to this conditioner. It was super good, so i just went ahead and finger detangled left it on. While i showered and stuff i can't see anywhere on the bottle. It doesn't say you need to leave it on um, but i mean it doesn't hurt to so once i rinsed it off. Just super soft curls looked and felt amazing. So so far um the conditioner was definitely my favorite. The shampoo was good as well, but you guys will see in um in a clip in just a second that i did still have some flakes so like i said it didn't give that super cleanse um at least not for me, but it was a moisturizing shampoo. All right, so this is my hair out of my microfiber towel. I am going to go in with my gorgeous curls divine hair elixir. Y'All already know. I got ta show it in every single video and i'm going to put this into my scalp massage it on. In it's going to help with my itchiness um, it's going to help reduce flakes and also help promote hair growth. You can also use this on your actual hair strands to seal in moisture all right. So this is optional. You do not have to slick these two sides to do this. You know style, but i just wanted to and i'm going to part my hair the same way on each side. You guys can kind of see that i'm noticing there's some dandruff and flakes and product whatever the heck. It is so yeah, but it's i can easily um. You know, disguise it or get rid of it. So part of my hair on this side. I'M going to do the exact same thing on the other side as well. Now i'm going to part my hair from about ear to ear um, and this again is optional. I'Ve seen other girls do this, i feel like it just makes it a little bit easier since my hair is, you know very coily and um. I just wanted it to look right inside of the claw, so just bear with me, so i'm starting off by just spraying down the middle section. This is what i'm going to put my hair into a puff or a ponytail, whatever the two styling products that i'll be using are the curl empowering cream gel, and this is literally like a cream gel you like. When i shake it, you can see it looks kind of like a custard, then i'm also going to use the curl inspiring conditioning leave-in spray. These are both step three for curl all right, so i'm just going to spray the leave-in spray. All around my hair um yeah, it's made with coconut oil kapoosu and basically, i feel like this is just a replacement for water. It'S very liquidy doesn't really have much texture, but it did give me some softness, so it would be a good refresher as well. So i'm going to work that on in with my hands of course, and then split this section in half, because it's a kind of a thick section and then i'm going to take my evolved double sided brush and use it to detangle um. Obviously so that it's nice tangle free before i put it into the ponytail and then after i'm done with that, i'm going to take a little bit of the imbue cream gel just to give it a bit more moisture before i brush it into a ponytail. All right, so i am just taking a little bit of the cream gel to make sure this um part of my hair is nice and moisturized um and the cream gel is nice thick creamy super softening you guys, so i definitely would be interested in trying this For like a twist out or something and see what my results would be, so once i'm done with that middle section, i'm going to focus on the other parts of my hair and moisturize them as well. So i'm gon na basically just use the leave-in spray on the other sections so spray it on down. Um detangle it and then i'm gon na do the exact same for the front and after i haven't moisturized and detangled, then we're gon na get to the last step, which is just gelling it down and then putting it into the clock clip. So now i'm using eco style y'all know this is my go-to gel for slick sleek anything so i'm just going to put not too much but put enough on my sides and basically just brush it on down and then kind of you know wrap it into that. Back section, which you guys will see how i do that um and once i kind of you know brush it the way i want i'm going to put it into a ponytail that the two front pieces in the back into a ponytail don't wan na. Take me now, of course, y'all know. I got ta lay my edges just a little bit, so i did this little. I don't know swoop or whatever in the middle, then i fixed up. My edges did my little sideburns and then i'm going to add the clip. So, basically, to add the clip i just twisted this part and then you know put the clip how i wanted to do it. You don't necessarily have to um put it in a ponytail to do this. You could have just twisted on up, but i just wanted to make sure everything was secure. You guys can clearly see you can see my parts which i did not like so off camera. I did kind of fix it brush it up, um, so that you cannot see that because that that's not cute so just make sure you're aware of that, so that you don't have your scalp showing all right y'all. So this is the final look. I'M going to show you the front, the back the side. I thought this was like a cute sophisticated, look, um yeah. I think this would be really nice if, like you're going out somewhere and you have to dress nice with a nice dress, but it was cute. Just for casual wear as well, so my hair was nice and soft. So, although i didn't do a twist out or a braid or anything, i did like. I really liked the cream gel. So i probably would try this again for a twist out or something to see how it really really performs, but overall the products were pretty good, i'll link them down below, and i really like the style, like i said so yeah.
