Hey guys, it's Tina welcome to my channel today's video is all about workbooks or looking your best at that interview. So, let's begin we're starting off with stretched hair with a side part and on doing is rolling and folding. My hair, rolling small sections at a time will give you a tighter sleeker look. You want to use bobby pins to hold the rolls in place. I roll until I get to the back of my ear and then I use a click to just hold the hair. While I repeat, on the other side, you're just going to come to your rolling on the other side, until you're able to join both sections together into a ponytail. As far as interview the concerned, I prefer to have my hair away from my face because I feel like it makes me, look more refined and also eliminates the chance of a little strand distracting the recruiter. Once I make my ponytail, I then go in to just do a loose two strand twist and I'm just going to roll this up and pin again into a nice bun at this point. You just want to pin it to be secure, use as many pins as you need, and you are pretty much done on to the next style. I start by putting my hair into three sections: atop a middle and a bottom section. What I'm going to do, then, is make two strand twists all through my hair. The front section has one two strand twist, while the second middle section has two and the bottom third section has three and then organically I'm just going to go ahead and pin wherever I feel comfortable. There is no particular way to doing this. You'Re just spinning the hair around to where you're comfortable and what feels right to you, the magic of being organic. Now us Naturals love that slick. Look so once your hair is all pinned up, you can go ahead and use some gel or a little edge control. Paste to smooth your edges a bit more and if you want you can tie it down with a scarf as well, do whatever you please and that's it you're done and for the third style you want a section of a pompadour area. I use this trusty little tool. I got from righty to give me more height when I create my pompadour, then you're going to smooth the hair on either side of the pompadour and crisscross them over continue this crisscross action until you get to your nape now. This would obviously be so much easier if my hair was fully detangled or if my hair was in a fresh blowout, but just take your time, make small sections and keep Criss crossing and it will create a nice wave basket. Look in the back as you can see, Criss crossing your hair just hold it in nicely and there is no need for anybody pins as you reach the nape you're just going to take one section of hair and wrap it around the remainder of your hair and Then use a head tie to form a ponytail from the ponytail, we're going to make a simple, easy bun by folding the hair and then using a few bobby pins to secure. To finish things up, I smooth the edges and then I use a bobby pin to really hold them in that way. It gives me a more sleek look and once you do that the style is complete, you can go and dazzle your recruiter now onto the final. Look so even though I have so many fun tutorials on the channel already, I could not complete this video without including a bond tutorial. So all I'm doing is using some gel along my edges and then using my self bristled brush to smooth everything back into a low ponytail. As you already know, I prefer using knee-highs for my ponytails, because it gives me a little bit more control on how tight the ponytail ends. Up being so, I just slick my hair back and then all I'm gon na do is fan my hair out and start folding and rolling from one side all around to create the bun. I then use a head tie to hold all the hair in the bun. Together and if needed, you can also use a few bobby pins and then all you want to do is just talk at the bond to create both volume and lift, and that's it now for an even sleeker look. I tie my hair down for a few minutes and want to take that scarf down. You are going to be rewarded with the most elegant bun ever and so there you have it. I hope you guys enjoyed this video best of luck to all my new graduates. Looking to land that new job, if you missed my last video click, the link to check it out, don't forget to follow me on instagram is t 1806 and, as always, thank you guys so much for watching and until next time, stay beautiful, guys, bye,

DiscoveringNatural: All these styles are so beautiful!! Love the polished look.

Lewana Turner: I'm so glad this is a tutorial of how to make the BEST of your natural hair and not cover it up. People who say natural hair is unprofessional are dead wrong; it's gorgeous, sophisticated, and powerful. It takes a courageous woman to be that gorgeous!

L.A.'s Books & Things: I love these styles. I hope this encourages any new naturals that all of us naturals have to be creative with our hairstyles, no matter the length.

Abby Phillips: These are great styles, and seem so easy to do. I never thought of making a bun that way or crisscrossing the hair instead of doing a French braid. I love it!

S Atwood: Your styles are both beautiful and easy to do! Thank you for the quick work day looks.

wellhellopanda: Excellent video! Just what I needed before my interview this week. Thank you

TheBlessedmomof3: Loooved all of these styles... super cute, quick and easy... just what I need!! Thank you!

SAndrew S: I love the 1st style. I love to wear it with my two strand twists. Thanks for the tips

Lot ZamRa: Thanks a lot! I've been looking for work- appropriate hair styles that look sleek, polished and professional. Most of the videos I've seen are for school & proms. This is awesome! Although I have 3A hair,I think this would be great for me,too. I'm definitely going to follow you in IG. Thank you so much! :)

Healing Peace: Love these looks and they are soo simple. perfect for every event not just interview or work.

Marisa Boles: I use to wear look 1 back in 1982 when I was a freshman in high school! Its something how styles come back around.

honeydip19: These are great hairstyles in general, especially for humid days. Thanks so much!

Latrice Hight: Beautiful! I will definitely try all of them probably :-) And how useful and intelligent to make a video geared towards styles for going on job interviews!

Petra Pashley: I have hair envy! lol Thanks for uploading this. I'm often stuck for hairstyles and always only have a few minutes to do my hair. I can adapt these styles to suit my hair length.

Rozlin313: You are sooo pretty and I loved style #2.  I have long hair and use a black scrunchie for my buns.  Not too tight.  I'm approximately 2 years natural and keep getting trim to cut away the perm so no big chop.  I'm glad I found your channel.

isata baj: Your hair is SO beautiful. So jealous. I will attempt at all four styles starting with the first one tommorow. Thank you!!

FaerieBlanc: I really like this video. I went to a black hair salon and was told by the stylist that while young and jobless I could get away with my fro, but that I'd have to relax it (like the ladies sitting next to me in the salon) when I got a job. I've been especially determined since then not to get forced into that.

GlamSam💄: This is fantastic. Now I have more styles for work. Thank you for posting:-)

Natural Kinky Curly―Marie: Wow and I just slapped my hair back in a *ponytail [ends in a big Afro Puff] for my interview for Corporate*. Got the job. The look for an interview is neat maintained hair no matter the style. My friend went to her job interview with microbraids, using Marly kinky Hair—got the job. We are now hiring again at my job and our last hire came to the interview with her Natural 4C hair worn out with just a hairband around the front to keep the hair from her face-- she got the job. Hiring managers don't Care that your hair is worn natural or naturally kinky, there's no Rule accept neat and well groomed Hair. My brother got his job a the Corporation where he Works because his dreads [yes dreadlocks!] were nice and neatly away from his face in a kind of like a ponytail but not. They were still hanging down his back. NOT ONE OF US WERE INTERVIEWED OR HIRED BY BLACK Managers. Our *experience, education, professional references, Personality, professionalism, knowledge of the position and background is what Sold It! That's what employers are really looking for.*
