I'Ve been wanting to try like a little sleek, braided ponytail for the longest, but to me it didn't make any sense to flat on my hair just to put gel and like got to be glued spraying it. So i was like. Can i do this without any heat and y'all, i tried it and i'm loving the results. If you want to try a nice little sleek look on your natural hair without using any heat. This is the protective style for you. If you stay tuned, you're going to see how i achieve these results, you'll need some scrunchies gel edge brush a hard bristled brush rat tail combs for parting, and i am using the jam rock three times: marley twist braiding hair, i'm starting off on washed and detangled Hair, if you want a review of my wash day routine, it is linked in my description box. I allowed my hair to dry in these braids for about 45 minutes, so i'm working with damp hair, starting in the back i'm going to grab a generous amount of the eco styler gel to start forming a ponytail. I'M going to use one scrunchie to hold my hair in place while work on the front section. This is the time to form your part, i'm deciding to do a bust down little part, but if you want to do a side part, you do you girl, i'm applying gel and then going in with the fine rat tooth comb to make sure my part is Straight for the best leek look go over it with a comb to make sure all the lumps and bumps are after making sure. My part is straight once again, i'm going to repeat the steps on the other side, kissing neutron, i'm going to add more gel brush. It and comb it all together to make sure i have a uniform look now that my hair is all slicked, i'm taking two bundles of the marley hair and forming a ponytail with it. I'M taking the scrunchie and looping it through the marley hair to be able to attach it to my hair, i'm moving the marley hair to make sure it sits. On top of my hair, i separated the marley hair and my hair into three different sections to be able to start braiding, i'm adding a perm rod, so the ends will be curled. Take a small piece of the leftover hair to wrap it around the base of the ponytail to hide the scrunchies once you're finished wrapping it use got to be glue spray to hold it in place. Now i'm doing my baby hairs to my liking and then i'm going to spray got to be glue spray to catch any flyaways and then i'm going to wrap my hair. This brand of hair is hot water set. So now i'm just dipping the ends of my hair in hot water for the best results dip your hair two to three times. I always allow my hair to set at least an hour before removing the scarf just remove the perm rod and girl. You are good to go y'all, i'm really feeling myself with this little sleep back ponytail like salon who pay a stylist who, because your girl did it herself thanks for watching stay tuned for more content on life career and all things beauty all while keeping it real. Candace Hamilton: Idk about y’all but I’m not risking heat damage for a ponytail ‍♀️

Brittany Martin: Exactly, I don’t see the point of wasting a flat iron just to put gel right back on it! Heat less is the way to go!
