So you never miss another video with that said, let's get into this beautiful group of videos. Look how easily that is! Detangling i'm sold. I am so so hi family welcome back to the channel. Thank you so much for coming back. Today'S video is going to be another natural hair video in today's video i'm going to be trying a specific product that is, a hundred percent natural for natural hair. This is an african product and this product has a lot of benefits and i just wanted to try it out and show you guys, so you guys can see if you like it or not. You guys know that i have my hair out. Also, we are on a no chemical, no heat challenge, and i just want to continue to show you guys all the great products that i'm using or things that i'm kind of experimenting with and discovering along the way. And secondly, because it is a black female owned company, i just want to do my part to support them. So we're going to be trying it out right here right now, i'm going to make the concussion we're going to apply it to my hair and we'll see how it works, and if you guys like it, you can go ahead and try it out as well. This is the product i'm talking about. The name of the leaf is called embunum right here in bunu. I might be saying that wrong, but i think that's how you say it. It claims to make your hair softer stronger thicker and it also prevents dry scalp and it lessens the fall of hair. So those are pretty good properties. Okay, so it just smells like i want to say like green tea or, if you've ever had any kind of herbal tea before that to me is what it smells like. So this is what the powder looks like. It says you're supposed to take one liter of hot water, one tablespoon of this and then let it sit for about 10 minutes and then gently apply the mixture detangle your hair with comb and then rinse through thoroughly. So in order to get our detangler ready. Let'S go ahead and make the mixture yes, so this is what it looks like it says to let it sit for about 10 minutes. So i did that and it's pretty slippery yo. Let me use my hands, so you guys can see this, but yeah see that the consistency is pretty slippery. It'S not as slippery, of course, as your aloe vera would be, but see that it has a lot of slip to it. So i'm excited to try this. They say you're supposed to apply it directly from the bowl like this, but my worry is you guys know. That'S the same reason why i like to make the aloe vera juice as far as with the strainer. So my only thing is: i don't want to have to pick out these things out of my hair, but they say you're supposed to be able to comb it right through your hair. It'S pretty slippery yo. It feels kind of good to play with look at this and it smells kind of like green tea or yeah. I would say green tea, that's what it smells like. So what i'm gon na do is, i think, i'm gon na try it both ways. So i'm going to go ahead and strain some of it that way i'll have it just in case these things don't come out of my hair, easily okay y'all, so i went ahead and strained it. This is what it looks like. So, as you can see, it does still have a little bit of particles in there, but that's fine i'm going to go ahead and use this just in case the other one doesn't work. So this is what i have left over like i said, i'm going to go ahead and try it both ways. I thought i was going to need a lot more, but i only used 1 3 of a cup, and this is how much it made it made. A lot, so you probably only need one tablespoon at a time, so this bag is probably going to last you a long time because there is a lot in there. So what i'm going to do is i'm just going to use my spray bottle and my funnel and i'm just going to pour in here, okay, so i'm just going to put my lip back on that way. I'Ll have this ready in case. I need to use it. So this is what it looks like all right. Let'S get started, okay, family welcome back. We have made our mixture. I have some in my spray bottle here and i also have the rest in this bowl. This is how you're actually supposed to use it, y'all you're supposed to take it out of the bowl like this, with the leaves in it and apply it directly to your hair. But i went ahead and strained a little bit and put it in my spray bottle. Just in case these things are hard to get out of your hair, so in order to really really test this product to see if it really really works, i went ahead and took my hair out last night. I have absolutely no products in my hair, i'm just going to go ahead and take my cap off and get started wow you guys. This is real life. My hair is not detangled. I have no product in my hair, see that that looks scary. Let me turn around. This is what it looks like like. I said it's not detangled, it's not clean at all. I usually come to you guys with my hair pre-sectioned off or you know just ready to go, because my hair is a lot y'all. It'S a lot to deal with, but, like i said, i just wanted to try out this product to see if it actually actually works like it says it does all right. Let'S go ahead and section off my hair. I always like to do about three sections, but i think i'll do four this time, just because my hair is super super tangled. Let me turn around, so you guys can see me part this, so you guys can see that my hair is super tangled. So we definitely definitely need to detangle. Oh, i look very um something i don't know. I look something all right, so i have four twists in my hair. So now i'm gon na grab these three and then i'm gon na go ahead and work on this one. This one right here, so i'm gon na, go ahead and take it out all right. I think i'm gon na section that off too so i feel like my hair, has like three different texture. I have some 4c. I have some 4a and something else i don't know, but i know i have some 4c in there, so i'm just going to go ahead and put this style on my neck. I don't know if it'll stay, but i'm gon na try by the way i have my detangling brush. That is what i'm gon na be using, and then i have my solution here. I'M gon na grab a little bit like that. Let me come close, so you guys can see me apply it. Oh my god! Oh my god, i already love love, love, love the slip on this. It feels so slippery. Oh my god, my fingers just glides right through my hair. Look at that! Look how fast it defined my curls so definitely doing it like this can get a little messy. So i would suggest you know getting a towel or not doing it on a rug, maybe doing it on hardwood or um just a surface. That'S not going to be easily stained, but, oh my god, look at those girls. Oh my god. Look at those girls, you guys. Okay, it definitely didn't say anything about defining curls or i don't know if it's just me, but that is oh, my god look. How pretty that is? Okay, so i'm gon na detangle, i'm gon na start from the bottom, like you always should there is like no resistance, y'all! Oh my goodness! This is crazy. The leaves just combs right through it doesn't stay in your hair at all and look at that look how easily that is. Detangling. Are you kidding me? Let me show you guys this from the back, so you can really see what i'm talking about. Look at. This look at this all right. We got ta keep going. Okay, so see that all right, i'm gon na go ahead, so i'm probably not gon na need the spray bottle, because the leaves just fall right out. This is so good. This is what i'm talking about. Okay, since we're going the natural route we're trying to prevent as much chemicals as possible, this is what i'm talking about. Look at that look. Look you guys and i actually made a really big badge y'all. I made three thirds of a cup, and this is enough for, like three people all right look at this. This is before i even do anything we're going to detangle from the bottom. Let me come closer, you guys can see me do this, so the detangling and the curls curls yo, you guys know i'm an aloe vera girl. You guys know no, no, i'm aloe vera girl, i'm still gon na use my aloe vera, of course, because it has a lot of properties, a lot of benefits and a lot a lot of hair growth properties. But this guys is definitely gon na become part of the family. Oh my god. It makes my hair so soft, so so soft. My hair feels i'm crazy about this guys. I swear i oh my god. So all right. Let'S move on here! I'M just wow. Okay, family, so i am done with this side. I'M just gon na go ahead and move on to this side. Okay, family! This is our last one. Let me turn to you. Guys can see it, so i'm just gon na go ahead and detangle that i'm excited to see the end result guys tommy like a brush as soon as you put it on your hair. Your hair starts to feel very soft and before i even run the detangler through my hair is already very soft and very curly. Normally i have to do a lot of products or put a lot of products in my hair to get it. To look like that, i don't even know why i had the towel on, but look so my entire head is detangled. I'M gon na go ahead and take the rest of them out. If i had to rate this on a scale of 0 to 10 10. Being the best and zero being the worst, i would give this a nine and the only reason i would give it a nine is because it's kind of messy so, like i said, if you want to do this, do it on maybe do it outside or do It on hardwood floors or maybe spread something out like plastic, definitely not a towel or cloth, because it's gon na seep through or just do it on a hard surface where it's easy to clean. That is the only reason i would give this a 9.. Otherwise this is a 10., i'm probably gon na wear this as a wash and go because my curls are super defined. My hair feels really really soft and probably not a wash and go because i'm not going to wash it just yet. I'M gon na wait until it dries, so i can see what it looks like, but guys look how beautiful my hair looks. Oh, my goodness, my curls are beautiful. Let me turn around, so you guys can see all right family. That is it for this video y'all. Thank you guys so much for watching. I am super excited about today's video, so let's get right into it because we're on a six months, natural hair journey. I was doing some research of some contents to bring to you guys - and i found this doctor here on youtube. His name is dr josh axe. He is a doctor of natural medicine and this is what he specializes in. So i'm looking for contents, i'm looking for ideas - and i stumbled upon this video and let me tell you i was shocked - pleasantly of course, but i was shocked. So i got some super juicy stuff that i learned from this doctor that is going to help you grow your hair, longer thicker and healthier naturally, and for today's video we have a special guest. Yes, the fro. This is my natural hair and since we're talking about growing thicker, healthier longer hair who better to join us than the fro, so she's gon na be here with us today. That sounds really weird. I'M talking about my hair, like as a person anyways, i just wanted to do a little bit of research to bring some super juicy stuff to you guys, and let me tell you guys this is going to change your life like this is life-changing the whole time. I was watching the video i was like. Not only was it very impressive and very true, but it was also some of the things i already preached about on my channel and the fact that he's a doctor just sell the deal for me. If you use these five remedies patiently and consistently you'll actually start to see results within a week or two, and this is coming from a doctor, and you guys know that i'm not all about you know, grow your hair overnight. But after you hear these tips, you'll see exactly why this actually works with. That said, let's get into number one and guess what his top number one recipe is for: thicker longer: hair aloe vera, yes, aloe vera, fresh aloe vera, leaf the thing that i talk about almost every day on my channel, but here's the shocking part. He wants you to drink it. When i heard this, i was like i've done a lot of things with aloe vera, but i've never ever consumed it. But that is a thing, so you can either get the 100 fresh aloe vera online. You can get it from a whole food store, you can get it from some grocery store, and this is what it looks like, and that is just one kind. It doesn't have to be that specific one, but yes, you can actually get a 100 aloe vera gel or 100 aloe vera juice online or in stores and consume it. So he recommends drinking one glass of aloe vera juice every single day and within a week or two you'll start to see results. Aloe vera has properties, and i've already talked about that here on my channel. But aloe vera has some great properties that actually helps strengthen thicken and grow your hair. So, yes, you can either use the fresh aloe vera and make your juice or you can get the 100 aloe vera juice and consume that another shocking thing that i found is that there are actually aloe vera pills. So if you can't access the juice or you can't get the leaf or make the juice yourself, you can actually get aloe vera pills, and these are what they look like. So you can actually get these from walmart walgreens or any other vitamin stores, or you can actually get them online as well. This is what they look like. Aloe vera is not only great for your hair, it's also great internally, and it also regulates some hormones in your body. So if you're kind of tight in the bowel area or if you get constipated a lot or if you're irregular, try incorporating aloe vera into your diet and i'm telling you that's going to fix it. So not only are you going to have beautiful hair, your skin is going to look beautiful and also your bowel is going to be regular. So you take one of these pills with water. You can take it with food or you can just take it by itself. Does anybody else fill their mouth with water before dropping their pills in there? Yes, i know i'm a nurse, but i hate pills and i hate shots. I don't mind giving them. I just have a problem getting them. So, in order to swallow my pills, what i normally do is i'll take the water and that's how i take pills. I do it that way, because i don't want the pill to touch any part of my mouth. The easiest way that i found that helps me is to put the water in my mouth drop the pills in there and then swallow them all at once. If you do that, too go ahead and comment down below, let's move on to number two, so the second thing that's going to help your hair tremendously is collagen. Yes, collagen protein, so your hair, skin and nails are made out of collagen. So when your collagen levels are low, sometimes it can affect the growth and health of your hair, skin and nails, so dr josh actually suggests consuming collagen on a daily basis. Again, he says that this is one of the fastest way to thicken and speed up the growth process. He says that he has worked with thousands of patients and these remedies actually really work. So where can you get collagen from again, you can get it from your whole food store. You can get it from vitamin stores. I actually got this one from walmart right here, so how he recommends doing this is by taking one scoop of collagen mixing it with your favorite smoothie or you can make the collagen itself, so you open it up. That is what it looks like in there grab. One scoop like that, and you can make it out of a smoothie or you can add it to your favorite, tea or water, or you can just make this all by itself. Collagen is also great for your skin nails and hair, like i said so, not only is it going to help your hair, you are going to see a big difference in your skin. Now i will say that the collagen, especially if you're on a little bit of a budget, the collagen, can be a little expensive, because this bottle i got from walmart and it was about 19 and it may not sound like a lot for some people. But it is a lot, especially if you're, adding everything up so the collagen is kind of expensive, but it's totally worth it. The next thing on the list again, i've talked about this on my channel and i was pleasantly surprised to hear dr josh talk about this. The next thing he talked about is biotin. A lot of you guys have already heard about biotin, but if you haven't biotin like collagen, also helps strengthen your hair, skin and nails, so dr josh actually recommends taking biotin by itself or you can take it in a supplement that has biotin in it. So i went ahead and picked out some biotin to show you guys. So this is what the typical biotin looks like they're, really tiny, which is a great thing, because again i hate pills or for those of you guys who just can't stand taking pills. There are also gummy biotin, which are my favorite, so this is what the gummy biotin looks like, and these two types of biotin are by spring valley, the the company spring valley, but it doesn't have to be by them. It can be any brand as long as it is biotin, so this biotin, the pilkine, has 500 microgram per gel and there are 120 little soft gels in here and you're supposed to take one of these per day. I always recommend taking pills with food or right after you eat that way. You don't have to worry about what pills do i take with food and what pills do i not some pills you specifically have to take on an empty stomach, but these are not one of them. They just recommend that you take it with food and i would say when it comes to supplements, just take it with your breakfast or with your lunch or at dinner. It doesn't really matter. So this is what the gummy form looks like, and this is cranberry flavored and it's naturally flavored. So, as i said, this is my favorite kind, and these are actually vegetarian gummies. They have no gmo and they're organic. These have 10 000 micrograms in them and you're supposed to take two of these per day. So all i do is, i just take two gummies like that and chew them and they actually taste good. They don't have that metallic um taste that some multi vitamins have, which i hate these ones, actually taste really good and there's actually no aftertaste disclaimer. You have to do one or the other, don't do both of them at the same time. So if you like, gummies, go with this one or if you can tolerate pills, go with this one, but never the two of them together choose one okay, family, so the fourth natural way to thicken your hair, like crazy, is via the use of rosemary oil. Now this is something that is actually the first time i'm using this on my channel, so i was pleasantly surprised when he brought it up and really broke it down, and i was like wow that makes sense. Why didn't i think of that? But yes, rosemary oil is like the holy grail for hair growth, so rosemary oil has a compound called rosemary acid, and this property is great for thickening and strengthening your hair. For those of you guys who know about the hair treatment rogaine, there was actually a study done to compare rosemary oil and rogaine and they found very similar results. The difference is road. Game is super expensive. Not a lot of us can afford it, but rosemary oil is fairly affordable. So again you can get these online. You can get them from your whole food store. You can get them from some grocery stores. Rosemary oil is your friend. So this is what it looks like so this i actually got from amazon and it was kind of pricey. I feel like i paid about ten dollars for this tiny little thing. This is how tiny it is, but again it's very very worth it. So how you do this, is you take about five drops of your rosemary oil and add it to any other carrier oils like your castor oil or your coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil, just any of those kind of oils, or you can actually add it to Your shampoo and wash your hair with it. The way i do it is i like to take a few drop of these mix it up with my oils, apply it to my hair, massage it in and just braid my hair. I normally do this after i wash my hair, because for us you guys know that we're not supposed to wash our hair every single day. So if you're going to use your rosemary oil, don't use it every day and wash your hair every day. That to me, especially if you have hair like mine, is going to do more damage, not because of the oil, but because of the high manipulation and processing of your hair. So the way i do it is, like i said, mix my rosemary oil with all of my other oils, massage it into my scalp and braid my hair, and, as you can see, it's working by the way. This video is not sponsored by any of these products. Okay, i just found some juicy tea that i had to share with my sisters, especially because we're on a natural hair journey. I didn't want to keep all of this to myself, so i decided to share it with you guys, you're welcome. So the reason why rosemary oil is so important when it comes to the health and the regrowth of your hair is the fact that rosemary oil blocks certain compounds in our body called dth. Dth is responsible for milk pattern baldness. It'S also responsible for thinning hair in females, so what rosemary oil does is it goes in and it blocks the effect of those compounds so once dth is blocked, it stops and reverses the process of hair loss. That way, you start to see your hair grow again or, if you have baldness in certain spots, that should be able to help you. The fifth and final thing that we're going to talk about is omega-3 omega-3 fatty acid. So this can be flax, oil. It can be fish oil or it can be cod, liver, oil or you can just consume a diet high in fish, so salmon is a great source for this. This is an important source to add to your daily diet, because, again, with the help of the other four things we just mentioned, it is going to change your hair gain forever. This is omega-3, so remember how i said i hate pills. These pills are humongous. Like look at this, you can either take it in the capsule form. There are liquid forms or, like i said, you can just consume a diet high in fish and cinnamon is one of your best source for omega-3, and one thing that i wanted to add to dr josh's list is vitamin d. Sometimes, when you're low on vitamin d, it tends to affect your hair, it can cause brittle hair, it can cause thinning hair and it can just compromise the overall health of your hair. So i would suggest first talking to your doctor making sure it's okay, but if it is okay, i would suggest adding vitamin d to your supplements. This is what the vitamin d looks like. You can also get these at walmart, and these were about six seven dollars. If i'm not mistaken - and there are 200 soft gels in here - and these are what the gels look like - they're - pretty small they're - even smaller than the biotin pills. So if you feel like your vitamin d, is low, that could be a cause of why you're losing your hair or maybe the reason your hair is not healthy. Like i said, i was pleasantly surprised to hear that somebody else is singing the same songs that i've been singing on my channel forever, so to speak so for the rest of our hair journey. I want us to try these just to see how much difference is. Gon na make, but my disclaimer is that, if you don't see results in two weeks continue to do it, especially if you're not having any adverse effect to them. I would continue to do them because sometimes it takes longer for some things to work for some people, but i know for sure that everything mentioned in this video actually works and for those of you who have followed my hair journey, you know that my hair has Changed a lot so, if you're going for length or health, it doesn't matter, i'm gon na leave a lot of other helpful videos down below make sure you check them out and just follow the natural hair journey, along with the rest of us just to see how This is going to work and for those of you guys who can't get every single product that i mentioned, try the ones you can get if it's just the aloe vera or the aloe vera pill or the collagen, or even just eating a healthy diet. Increasing your fluid intake, i try to bring affordable remedies to you guys because i know that times are hard and money is tight, but we are trying to live our best hair life. So i'm just trying to bring all of these tips to you guys to help you reach your natural hair goal, okay, family, and that is it for the video. If you did like the video go ahead and give it a big thumbs up. Thank you so much for coming back in today's video, i'm going to be showing you exactly how i prep my hair for my natural styling, i'm going to be showing you the entire process from the oils i use to how i mix them and how i apply Them to my hair, how i braid my hair for my protective styling to promote massive hair growth. Okay, family welcome back to the channel for those of you who are new here. My name is mercy and on this channel i talk about nursing lifestyle beauty. I do a little bit of vlogging. I talk about feminine hygiene, i talk about natural hair and i just do a little bit of everything. So if you would like to join the family, please go ahead and hit that subscribe button down below and also hit the bell notification button. So you never miss another one of my videos. As i said, today's video is going to be all about how i prep my hair to keep it nourished and moisturized for the course of a few weeks to promote hair growth. For those of you guys who have been following me for a while. You already know how i do this process, but if you don't know usually when i wash my hair, i usually wash my hair either twist that up or braid it up. So once i do that, i just let the braid or twist stay in my hair for a few days with some oils or conditioners in it. So this is what i did here. So i had my hair twisted up in a few twists after i washed my hair and i just went ahead and took the twist out combed it out, and this is what it looks like so today, i'm getting ready to put my hair in a protective style Which a lot of you guys know that when i do my protective style, it's normally wigs. So i usually just braid my hair down anywhere from two weeks to a month and i use wigs or maybe crocheted or something like that. So that is my form of protective styling. I know it's different for everyone, but this is just what i do and i just wanted to show you guys that process. I'Ve already done a video similar to this before, but i've recently added some new oils and some new strategies, so i just wanted to show you guys that as well and also because we are all on a no heat journey. I just wanted to show you guys. My protective styling, which i'm very very serious about so i just wanted to show you guys that in full detail so first thing: first, we're gon na go, make our oils and then we're gon na come back and move on to the next step. Okay, so let's go all right family so for my oils, i'm gon na be using this clear bowl only because i need something clear for you guys to see what i'm doing i'm going to be using this spoon and then for the oils i'm going to be Using coconut oil, so we're going to do that. First, i'm going to bring this back and you don't really have to measure this as long as you get a good amount for your hair, we all have different. I guess amount of hair so just go by what you think is going to be enough for you. So yes, i just scooped a little bit of coconut oil about that much and then my next oil, of course, is going to be my jamaican black, castor oil. All right, i'm going to open that and just add a little bit. My next oil is going to be my flex seed oil. As you can see, it's a hundred percent pure i'm just gon na pour a little bit. My next oil is going to be my aloe vera oil, i'm just going to add a little bit of that as well. You guys know that i like to make my own aloe vera oil, but i just don't have the time right now to do that. So i went ahead and bought it already made and it's 100 pure as well. So i like this, my next oil is going to be my avocado oil. This is organic. Avocado oil. You don't have to use all the oils i'm using here, just use as many as you have. As you can see. I only have a little bit of avocado oil left in there, so i'm just going to do all of it and the last oil i'm going to be adding to this is my extra virgin olive oil. So again, i'm just going to add a little bit to this all right family. So these are what my oils look like. So all i'm gon na do is i'm gon na mix it just because, as you can see, the coconut oil is in solid form. So i'm just gon na mix it up to make sure that all the oils are mixed in together and that way we'll be ready to apply it all right. This is what my oils look like, honestly guys if you wanted to pop this in the microwave for about 5 or 10 seconds, just to make the mixing process easier, you can do that or you can set this in hot water to help it melt. So this is what my oils look like. So now, i'm just going to go ahead and move on to the next process: okay, family. So we are back. I have my oils here, they're already made so the second thing i'm going to be using or the next product that i'm going to be using is a leave-in conditioner and i will be using the shea moisture leave-in conditioner this right here, all right. So the reason i'm using a leave-in conditioner and the oils is because oil does not necessarily provide moisture, but the leave-in conditioner is going to provide the moisture and then, with the combination of oil and leave-in conditioner. Everything is just going to be sealed in, as i mentioned before this process once you do this the first day or two is kind of messy, because you have a lot of oils in your hair and um, especially for when you go to sleep, so i would Suggest using something that is um that has a barrier kind of like a shower cap or a barnette that has a barrier inside of it just to protect your blankets and pillowcases and stuff. But if you don't care about stuff like that, then it doesn't matter but you're just going to notice that when you lay your hair on your pillowcase, it's going to leave a mark. It'S going to leave a oily mark. For me. That usually happens for about the first day or two, but once that's over you're going to stop leaking oil, as i like to say it and whatever oil is supposed to stay in, your hair is going to stay. But the reason i like to do this is i like to keep my braids in for a long period of time, sometimes two weeks to a month, if i'm gon na do a protective style like crocheted or anything like that, i usually keep my braids in for About a month, but if it's just like i don't know if it's just like a braid out or anything different, i usually go up to two weeks. I take it out. I wash my hair and then i start over. So that is basically how i do it. So again, i'm going to show you here. I have a comb here. This is what i'm going to be using. I have a few clips here to get my hair out of the way and i also have an afro pick comb in case. I need to comb. My hair and then i have my oil and my leave-in conditioner, so those are the things i'm going to be using so to get started. I'M going to go ahead and section off my hair, so i'm going to use my comb to just part it i'm sorry. If this camera is acting up, but i'll do my best to show you guys exactly what i'm doing here all right, i have it parted into two sections. So i'm just going to go ahead and twist this section to get it out of the way. All right, then, i'm gon na grab this and just pin it down all right, so i'm gon na make my first part. I use my fingers as much as possible, just because i don't like to use combs on my hair, because i just want to be as gentle as possible and i feel like my fingers are more gentle. So i normally use my fingers to make my parts first and then, if i need to, i can go in with a comb, and i also like to connect my braids. So i'll show you what i'm talking about here. I'M just getting this first portion out of the way, so this is what my first braid is going to look like it's a pretty small braid. I'M going to take my leave-in conditioner, put a little bit in my hands like that and to me it doesn't matter which one you apply. First, i'm just going to take my oil dab, my fingers in here like so you guys, i like my hair to be completely saturated when i do this. That way, the moisture stays in your hair for the duration of your protective style, and that way you don't have to worry about dryness or breakage, or anything like that. And then, when you go to take your protective style out, your hair is still going to be moisturized and that's a great thing again. You can either twist. If twisting is better for you, you can twist you can do single twist. You can do flat twists. You can do cornrows, you can do whatever works for you, okay, so my first braid is done. I'M not going to braid this all the way till the end, so i'm just going to let that be, and then i'm going to move on to my next part. I don't know why i make faces when i braid my hair y'all, but just excuse the faces. The key to this process, or this method is to apply as much moisture into your hair as possible, because that is not only going to grow your hair. It'S also going to help you with length retention, because the drier your hair, the easier it is for it to break, and these oils are all known to have massive hair growth properties and they're going to do their thing when your hair is braided up and left Alone and they're also going to do their part in moisturizing your hair, so that is why i like to do it this way. Let me turn around, so you guys can see what i'm doing and then for the ends. I'M just going to take a little more oil about that. Much put it on my finger and continue to braid again you can twist or you can braid i like to braid. So that is why i'm braiding! You can continue to add oil to your fingers. As you go to help really saturate and moisturize your hair, your ends are very, very important, so you can add more leave-in, conditioner or more oil, as you go all the way down like i'm doing here, but see how saturated my hair looks. That is how i like to do it y'all everybody has their method. As i said, you can choose to do what works for you, but this is what works for me: lots of oil and moisturizer in there. You can choose to use less oil, less moisturizer, as i said, but everybody has their thing, and this is my thing, so i'm just gon na go ahead and move on to my next braid. So i'm just going to take this braid and connect it to these braids. This is what i do to protect my hair when it's in a protective style. So with this i can wear wigs. I can wear crochet braids. I can do a braid out, so you know take these braids out a few days later. I can wear hats, i can wear hair wraps. I can just do any of those, but at the end of the day, my hair is nice and protected until i'm ready to use it again. So that is my method. If you guys like it, please go ahead and try it out, and let me know how it turns out. I'M gon na leave a lot of other helpful videos down below.
