So i've been trying to find ways to use t-shirts to create heatless curls, and i think i finally figured it out hello everyone. I'M zoe welcome to my channel where i do a lot of t-shirt related videos. I also do a lot of hair related videos, so this video was bound to happen sooner or later. Naturally, my hair is very flat and kind of straight. It does have a slight wave to it, but not very much. My hair is also very damaged, so heatless hairstyles are ideal for me, so i looked online at different heatless hair curlers and found a couple that could be easily recreated using t-shirts. I found both methods to be pretty effective. They both create big, loose curls and neither damaged my t-shirt or my hair. So let's jump right into it. All you're going to need for these tutorials are a couple t-shirts, some elastics and maybe a hair clip. The first method creates these bigger curls and i used a woman's small t-shirt but use what you have all right. So i'm just getting ready to go to bed and i'm starting with clean dry hair. I just have some leave-in conditioner in it, and you're gon na take your t-shirt and roll it up lengthwise and then grab your elastic and put it on one of the ends and then you're just going to take the other end and slip it under that elastic. So you have like a circle. Sorry there's hairs here, because i've previously done this, so you just have a circle and then you're gon na take your circle and place it on the top of your head. Oh and i just parted, my hair, like i regularly, would so just sit it on top of your head and then you're going to grab one piece from the front either side and wrap it around the t-shirt. Just like that then you're gon na grab more hair. Add it to that same section and wrap it around the t-shirt again then you're just going to continue adding hair and wrapping it around the t-shirt. Okay and then once you've added all your hair, you're, just gon na keep wrapping the end the little tail you have left until you can't wrap it anymore, and i will turn around to show you just like that and then we're going to do the other side. Exactly the same way, i think i might re-wrap this side just because it's looking a little bit loose. Okay, so i'm all wrapped up! This is what it looks like and i'm just going to i'm just going to cover my head in this satin cap, just because i move around a lot when i sleep all right, i'm going to go to bed we'll see in the morning. Okay, it is the next morning and it's time to take out the t-shirt, so it stayed in pretty good stayed in pretty good, didn't move around too much. So you just undo the elastic and you start untwisting it. Oh new get a little tangled got a little tangled there we go okay. Now you can see they're, really big, loose curls kind of looks like a blowout to me. I find so these big voluminous natural looking curls now i'll show you what it looks like from. Behind i'm just going to use a little bit of hairspray to just help them last a little bit longer now i do have to put my hair up today, unfortunately, to go to work, but i will still check in at the end of the day, to see How they're holding up okay it's the end of the day, and it's been about 10 hours now i had my hair up in a ponytail all day and i was even out in the snow. Yes, it's still snowing here in canada, so my curls have fallen. Quite a bit, i don't know if you can see, all that's left is like a slight wave. So for me they last about one day. I could probably get them to last a little bit longer if i put like a style primer or a mousse in beforehand, or if i did it when my hair was a little bit damp. That would definitely make them last a lot longer. So there's some experimenting to do, but so far on dry, clean hair they last about one day. The second method creates these slightly tighter curls and i used a men's extra large t-shirt. Okay, so i'm just getting ready for bed again. I'Ve got clean, dry hair and i'm just parting it in the center, where i regularly would part it now, this time, i'm taking a men's extra extra large t-shirt. Just because i wanted to get a long one like the longest one i could find, because i have longer hair and you just roll it up. Just like we did the first time roll it all up as tight as you can and then put little elastics on each end, just to keep it rolled up tight all right. Now you take your rolled up extra large t-shirt and you just put it over in the center of your head and then i'm taking this big claw clip and just clipping it to my head, so it stays there now. This part is just like robe curls, we're gon na separate our hair, each side of our hair into two more sections. So just a front, and a back now, just like rope. Curls we're gon na grab one small piece from the front and you're going to tightly wrap it around the t-shirt and bring it back to the front. Then you're going to take a piece from the back and wrap it around the t-shirt in the opposite direction and back out the back okay. So then you grab another small section of hair and add it to the front section wrap it around again. Then you add another piece from the back to the back section and wrap it around the t-shirt, and you just continue that all the way down until you're out of hair all right and then once you have all of your hair in these two strands, you just Keep wrapping them around the t-shirt and then, when you're at the end, you just tie it off with another elastic or you can slip it under the elastic. That'S already there there and your hair should be all wrapped around the t-shirt and you do the exact same thing. On the other side, all right all wrapped up now, i'm just going to put on my my satin bonnet and then go to sleep and i'll see you in the morning all right to make it a little bit more comfortable. I removed the clip from the top and i elastic both ends together in the back now, i'm just going to put on my satin bonnet and then go to sleep, and i will see you in the morning. Okay, it is the next day and last night we hit 15 000 subscribers. So thank you so much to all my subscribers. I love you guys now, let's take out these curls, so it still looks pretty much exactly the same. It didn't really fall out during the night, which is good. I didn't find this one as comfortable to sleep in as the last set, but still it wasn't bad wasn't bad at all. So i'm just gon na remove all the elastics and then you just unravel the hair there. It is, and then we do the other side there. It is beautiful. How cute are these curls they're, really big and voluminous and bouncy, and i'm just gon na spray them with some hairspray to hopefully make them last a little bit longer. So here is what they look like and i'll show you what they look like from the back. As well, okay, it's been 10 hours and my hair has fallen quite a bit. This side has held up a lot better than this side. I must have hair sprayed this side a lot better. I didn't have to wear my hair up today, um. I did, however, film a outfit video, so i did change my clothes about 10 times, which was pretty hard on the curls, but you can see they're still here, so they did last me all day, but i don't think they'll be here tomorrow, all right and that's Everything i think i like these curls from the second method better, but i find the first method easier and also more comfortable to sleep in. So it's really just personal preference anyways. I really hope you enjoyed this video if you did or if you have any questions.
