Overnight Heatless Curls

Hi everyone - this is so weird, oh, my god, okay, i'm getting ahead of myself! Okay hold on so first of all. Well, actually, first of all, why is my armpit so much wider than my shoulders um? But this is the first video i'm filming in my new apartment. It'S so weird like very weird. Oh, you can see those boxes in the back. Okay, i think that's better. I'M also sunburned ignore it, and my hair looks really bad, but that's the whole point of this video guys. That'S that's. The whole deal also jaboy just fell and it was so loud anyways. The whole point of this video is because my hair looks bad and i need to fix that. But, as you know, i just cut my hair for the first time in like forever, and i've been really into like trying to keep it healthy. So i just been like trying to treat it right and not use a lot of heat, but also use the right products to make. It look good and i'm very, very excited to show you guys what those are. I guess and one of my favorites i actually found on tick tock and it's i think my sister actually sent it to me or told me about it, but you curl your hair overnight with a bathrobe tie and i've used it a lot and it's one of My favorite ways to curl my hair if you've seen this picture of me, that is how i did those curls and those ones are really really tight and i'll show you guys the different ways to do it or talk about it. You know without further ado. Let'S get into this video, so i'm going to show you guys how i do my favorite overnight curls, so you don't damage your hair. The first thing we're going to need to do actually is wash my hair. So let's, let's let's go to the bathroom okay. That was really weird we're in my bathroom. Let me grab my shampoo and conditioner real quick that was really dramatic for no reason anyways. These are my new bottles. If you watch my other one, you knew you. You know, okay, you know that i had purple bottles. I'M pretty sure yeah, my last ones were purple, but i got blue this time any hoozles. I should have closed my shower that looks ugly anyways. My hair is honestly grease ball right now. Oh, this is tragic, but i'm about to just hop in the shower. Oh, i can't even look at myself with my hair, like this, i'm about to hop in the shower, because my hair is tragic. Obviously, gon na use these bad boys to wash my hair and don't worry, i'm gon na go into why these are some of my favorites to use versus just regular store-bought shampoos - oh my god, my hair so stay tuned. Okay, i'm gon na wash my hair, but okay bye, i'm back, i did shower my clothes, i'm just kidding. I did it and jokes on you. These are different shorts. Now that my hair is clean and smelling nice we can move on. I really need to comb. My hair, i use a comb like this instead of a brush because i think it's better for my hair, it rips less of it out so yeah. I used to be so mean to my hair, especially when i was brushing it like. I would. I would really rip through it just for no reason also sometimes i'll wait for my hair to dry completely before i comb it. I don't do that at night, otherwise it will be very um snarly in the morning, like scary, my part is also so messed up. Ah, my eyebrows - oh that's so embarrassing. It probably looks so bad. I got ta fix that. Remember, ladies and gents, when you're brushing your hair, try to start at the bottom, so you don't rip it all out, i'm still working on being gentle, but i've gotten a lot better than what i used to do. Should i cut some bangs again just kidding. I'M such a comedian. I can't even stand myself. I look like cousin it okay, so my hair is finally not tangled. That'S a win, but before i show you how i do my curls and whatever i'm going to, let it dry just air dry for a little bit. You could blow dry it, but again that defeats the purpose of not using heat on your hair a little bit. But i don't have a lot of hair, so it should dry pretty quickly, but if you curl it when it's wet, at least this happens to me, i wake up and part of my hair is still kind of wet and then the curls just fall out right Away because then they finally drive and then they drive straight. You know it's a whole ordeal, so i'm gon na let it dry for a little bit and then i'm gon na show you guys how to do my curls peace out girl scout and we're back with dry hair. I'M also sitting on the floor because i don't have a new makeup desk yet before we continue on - and i show you exactly how i do my hair, i want to talk about the sponsor of this video. So i just use this bath time from one of my old robes literally anything works, but i think these fuzzy ones are probably better. This is just a little bit thicker, you feel, but i split my hair down the middle, as you can tell so. I'M just gon na go like that and bring it to both sides. This is really awkward doing this. On my knees and not in a chair, i feel very uncomfortable, but but then i just put the bath tie over my head. It'S like back pretty far far enough, i feel like - and this kind of reminds me of french braiding, but it's more of like a french twist, i guess and depending on how tight you want your curls and how many curls you want. That'S how small you make your pieces, so if you wanted really small tight curls, you take a piece like this big, but since i want bigger curls, i'm going to take a pretty big piece like that and i'm just going to start wrapping it around. This tie and then once i wrap it around one time, i'm going to grab more hair and i grabbed another decently big piece: wrap it around again grab another piece and add it like so wrap it, and i like to do it pretty tight just because i Feel, like i'm a wild sleeper, i don't know, and my hair comes out really easily, so i do it pretty tight and then i don't have very much left. I think i'm going to split that up into two pieces. It'S like enough for two wrap it again and then grab the remaining hair, and then i just go like that, and i used to like split it again and kind of restart the whole deal. But since my hair is shorter now i don't have to do that. So now that i'm done and my hair is wrapped all the way down - i'm just going to take this thing. This thingamabob and honestly, i don't even bother pulling the bathroom bath robe all the way through, because it kind of helps, keep it in place just like. So and then we're just gon na quickly do the other side. This is literally one of the easiest hairstyles i've learned how to do. I mean it's not really a hair style. It'S a method, i would say, but just take another decently sized piece wrap. Another thing like that big wrap it around again and i always twist away from my face because i don't know i feel, like it frames your face better. Then again, i'm going to split this into two pieces and then the last bit. Oh, this ponytail is still wet if you just leave it like that it kind of untwists and like defeats the whole purpose. So i keep twisting it up into like one of these little buns and then i wrap the rest of the tie around it. So i look like i'm wearing ear muffs and then to secure this. While i sleep, i just take a scrunchie and i wrap it around the little bun like that and done. But now, since they're overnight, heatless curls, we have to wait until the morning i'm gon na go to bed. I'M gon na sleep in this and honestly sleeping in this. Isn'T that bad? Because i sleep on my back anyways, but otherwise i just try to twist them higher up onto my head and it doesn't bother me as much if i'm trying to sleep so yeah, but otherwise this works out fine for me and i will catch you guys in The morning for the reveal and how i style it and make it look not like i just rolled out of bed, you know okay well good night, we're gon na show erica my hair, she's gon na think i look weird. Oh my god. What did you do? Don'T i look pretty it's okay, you look like friends like princess lamb, like like, like whatever erica okay gon na sleep on this hair. Now, okay, bye good morning, everyone, it's actually 12.. I wake up really late, i'm sorry, but we can finally take out this situation. I'M just gon na take out this scrunchie first, it's time for the reveal ladies and gents, and then take out this little white one, and then you can go ahead and unwrap your hair like this. I'M not gon na move this until we unwrap this side. So you guys will get the whole deal kind of also. I always like to do my curls really tight at first, because throughout the day my hair falls out really easily. So if you do them really tight the last longer, you know my hair smells so good. Okay side note: this is what it looks like straight out like straight out of the bathrobe, but i like it once the curls have relaxed a little bit. I'M actually gon na take a comb and work through this, but like guys, i got that much curl from a bathrobe, not a curling iron. Nothing like that. Just a bathrobe, oh my gosh, okay! So after brushing it out, i already like it much much much better, but after brushing it out, my hair just gets like a little bit frizzy, just like a little like, i have flyaways, so i use this bad boy. This is the hair serum from function of beauty, and it says my name on it again. Using a serum or an oil is really helpful to make your hair just look a lot healthier and shinier, and it kind of tames some of the flyaways. So i just put like a tiny bit on my hand, that was only like three pumps and i go like this and just rake it through and it smells so good and just makes your hair like soft and manageable. I feel like i really like function of beauty's hair serum, because it's really light. I feel like some hair oils are really heavy and they just make my hair greasy, but that's it. This is usually how i leave my hair and then, throughout the day it just kind of turns into nice, pretty waves unless you put hairspray in it, but i normally don't just because it lasts pretty much all day, but i hope you guys enjoyed seeing one of My favorite hairstyles i've had people ask me how to do this before when you guys have seen me with the weird robe thing in my head.
