Greetings everyone at at ieast hair and today I am doing a rap tutorial, so my hair is already shampooed and D conditioned and I am starting off with my criminal chair, argan oil form wrap lotion on completely wet hair, and I am currently tunics post right now. I do not suggest this technique if you are over 4 weeks post or you have any type of new growth, because it is a lot of manipulation. So I already detangle my hair and I applied product, and now I am detangling my hair and distributing the product with my wide tooth comb and then, as you can see, I made a horizontal part in the middle of my head so that I can wrap my Hair in a circular motion, so I start off by using my white tooth comb and combing my hair in that circular motion and then I take my rat tail comb, which is very very necessary for this technique. If you want super straight smooth hair from the wrapping technique, and then I take my rat tail comb and go ahead and detangle it further making sure I am very gentle, this video is sped up, so it looks like I am being like rough and going really Fast but I'm super gentle always starting from the bottom and work. My way up - and I start my wrap by starting to wrap it in a circular motion starting at the back of my head, and I just bring that around and then go in sections and continue to wrap it all around my head. And if any lumps pop up during this process, I gently detangle it and continue to go around until the rap is completely smooth, and I can basically feel the teeth of the comb on my scalp. That is how you do it, and you always want to make sure you wrap your hair on completely wet hair. The more wet your hair is, the better it will come out yeah, so this process do take a lot of practice, but basically you want to make sure you are combing your hair away from the part and going in a circular motion, so that the middle is Also smooth and I used about five pumps of foam wrap lotion. You can use as much as you like, but not too much, because you don't want your hair like way down and it is the only product I use during this process. So after I have completely wrapped my hair around and it is all set, I add some more water to my wrap and one more pump of foam wrap lotion. In the beginning. I used about five pumps by the way, but you can use as much as you like the more the better, but not too much because it can wear your hair down and the drying process is the most important part like you have to use a hooded dryer To make sure your hair is dried, 100 %, or else your wrap won't come out great when you comb it down, so I typically sit under the dryer for about one hour and then I went to bed that night, so my hair was 100 percent dry. When I took it down because the dryer really sets the foam wrap lotion in place - and it really sets your hair in that straight form, it's so strong, so free I'm straight Harrison. I wrapped it. I just wanted to show it how my hair progress throughout the week see it's still straight.

Tyiece: Hey everyone, I just released my very own line of satin bonnets. Check it out here . humbleglow.com Thank you

Bondified Knitter: My mum did wraps in the 70’s in Spain. Once wrapped in one direction and dried, she used to then wrap it in the other direction and repeat the process. This would counteract any strands facing in the one direction and result in gorgeous luscious hair

Holy Experience: I am proud of myself! Tonight was the first time, late this afternoon, I dry wrapped my hair without need for pins, but also was quick to put on my bandana before it could unravel! My key? Vaseline! I started using it in my hair last week a day or so after having a "beauty mark" removed from right under the left side of my lip out of precaution. I was told to put Vaseline on where it was removed. Broke down and decided to use on my hair as well, and was amazed at how bone straight it almost was with flat iron at 400 degrees. But still felt light waves in roots. Note to self: Never again dry hair in Bantu knots....

Ira Ramos: We use this technique in dominican republic but with dry hair before going to sleep everynight that way we don't need to straight our hair everyday we alsl do it for a whole day if we are going to stay at home in few words the only times we don't do this is when we need to go out but most people don't worry about it and go out like this to the mall, grocery stores, parks.... Is normal seeing girls like this everywhere
