Rod Set On Relaxed Hair Using Perm Rods/ Detailed Tutorial 2021

Well, hello, there, if you're new, i'm mika and in today's video i will be showing you how i ratchet my relaxed ear, and these are the products that i'll be using. So, if that's something that you're interested in then keep watching so first, i shampoo and condition my hair to prepare my hair for the red set and if you look closely, my hair is not dripping wet, it is just damp and that will help to save time Under the dryer for control, i section my hair and i'll be sectioning, my hair in three two at the front and one at the back, and this is usually what i do pretty much all the time whenever i set my hair to make my curves last longer. I usually use the nairobi foaming lotion and what i love about this product is that it does not make your hair feel stiff and your hair feels soft to the touch and your curls last much longer. So now i'm just working the foaming lotion into my hair using my tail comb. I am going to make a half inch parting in preparation for my rad placement. Before i place the rod in my hair, i am going to be applying moisture to my hair and i'm going to be using the optimum three in one moisturizer and i'm going to be applying it to each half inch sections that i part this moisturizer is very Excellent in keeping your curls hydrated once i've finished, applying the moisture to my hair, i am going to go in with the blue magic, coconut oil, air conditioner, and this will help to seal in the moisture that i've just placed on my hair. Now, if you don't have this oil at home, you can use whichever oil you have. It will work just the same to keep my air end smooth. I am going to be using end papers now. The end papers that i'm using is the true wave brand. You can use whichever end paper brand you want to use. It will help to keep your the ends of the hair, smooth and free from frizz, and it also helps with control, especially with the ends of the hair. Once i've placed end papers on my hair ends, i'm going to go in with the rods, and these are the ones that i'm using the rods will determine the size of the curls. So if you want bigger, curls or smaller curves, then you will choose your rod base on the curls that you desire. Now i've just put the rod to the end of the hair and then i'm just going to roll now. What you'll find is that sometimes some of the hair is shorter, so don't worry about the short hair. They'Ll fall out on their own once you reach to where the short year starts. Just pick it up and roll it onto the rod and you'll be good. I did not speed up this section of the video, because i wanted you to be able to see exactly what i was doing so that you will be able to do this at home on your hair, whether your hair is short, medium or long, or even. If your hair is natural, you could try this at home on your hair. So once again i made an half inch parting. Then i apply my moisturizer to my hair. Then i apply the blue magic, coconut oil, air conditioner to seal in the moisture. Then i use my tail comb just to comb it out for it to be smooth. Then i put on my end papers and i'm using the book and wrap technique and, as the name suggests, just as our book would fall, you fold the end paper. In the same manner ensure that the end paper papers cover your hair ends that will help to prevent the hair ends from being frizzy when it is dry, then put your rods on it and just roll. As i said earlier, don't worry about the hair that is shorter. They will fall once they fall you just once they roll to where they are pick them up, roll it onto the rod and just continue to roll until you're, complete and just lock it in, and this is what my hair is looking like with just a few Rods in so you want to keep this in mind that whenever you're running your hair, you want to apply lots of moisture to your hair and you want to seal it in with oil and make sure that your hair is damp. Now you might be wondering why put so much moisture in your hair while rotting, the hair. Usually when you write your hair, it is going to be very dry, so i don't know if you have ever done it before. What was your result, you can chat it up in the comment section. Let me know what was your result when you wrote your hair without the moisture in it, but from my personal experience and for what i've been doing for all these years is that i realized that whenever i put moisture in my hair while wrapping my hair, the Curls come out so nice and lost and shiny, and usually i don't need to put any additional products when i take out my rods, maybe for the first two days. So now i'm just applying the mousse to the other side of the hair and i'm pretty much going to be doing the same thing that i did on the other side. So it's pretty repetitive, but nevertheless i hope it is instructional and that you'll be able to follow it so that you can do your hair in a similar manner with your rods at home, or you can use flexi rods. If you like the partings of each rod. Placement don't need to be perfect. What is important is that each section is combed smoothly and is placed on the rod in a smooth manner so that when the hair is dry, there's no frizz and it is nice and smooth. This is a complete red set and, as i said earlier, your partings don't need to be perfect. As you can see, mine are not perfect. So now i'm going to be going under the dryer to dry, my hair after the rod was removed from my hair. This is all my hair is looking no manipulation or anything just the right being removed. Now i'm going to go in with my white tooth comb and i'm just going to comb just the root section, i'm not going to comb out my curls! Absolutely not i'm just going to comb the root section to remove those rod section marks so that my hair can look nice and fluffy. I did not add any additional products to my hair after removing the rods, and this is how it came out just by adding the moisture and all to the hair while rotting, if you're interested, to see how i style my curly hair and my night routine.
