Wave Formers Review | Best Heatless Wavy Hair Curlers?

Hey guys, thank you so much joining me in this video, so I'm actually really excited because I haven't done a hair review video in a long time. So in this video I'm going to be reviewing the wave formers know, these are similar to curlformers, but instead of being in spirals like the curlformers, these are just more wavy, as you can see with this pattern here, I'm actually really excited, because these are a lot Newer they're selling on eBay right now, but they're, not actually the curlformers brand Pro formers, actually has not come out with their way formers. Yet so I'm actually really confused about that. But because of that, I went ahead and just order these on eBay, and I ordered these big packs, because I have a lot of hair. I know with my curlformers video. I was really afraid of running out of curlers, so I kind of you know me and my sections really big, so this one I ordered a lot so that I don't have to worry about that problem. Alright, anyway, I'm gon na go ahead and just jump into it, so with micro formers video. I did not know what I was doing and a lot of people gave me some really great tips and suggestions in the comment section of that video and I'm going to try to apply those tips and suggestions in this video with these curlers. So one of the most adjusted tips from the curlformers video is to use smaller sections. The second tip is to use a smoothing, serum or a smoothing product in my hair and then the third one, the most complaints I got in that video is me running my fingers through my curls too much, and so I'm going to try to avoid that in This video, I think, I've always known not to run my fingers through my hair, like that, because it's going to make it frizzy. But I I don't know it's just habit and I'm going to try to refrain from that as much as possible in this video. Okay. So to prep my hair, I am going to just brush up tangles with a wide tooth brush. I am using a wide tooth comb and I'm also using a wooden bristle brush, which I actually love. I got this from Whole Foods and it doesn't sign my hair and it glides through tables so easily, and it was like $ 7. So both these brushes are great for this and then the second thing I am doing is just re wetting, my hair. I have a spray bottle that I'm going to be using throughout this whole process, to make sure that my hair is damp enough before I apply it be way forward and then, after that, I'm going to be applying a moisturizing cream or like a smoothing cream onto My hair, this was one of the biggest complaints from micro formers video because I didn't use any products in that video. So in this video I am using a product and hopefully it doesn't weigh down my hair too much. But I love this cream up front or rebei and then lastly, I'm going to be sectioning out my hair, and that was another complaint. I got from the curlformers video in this video. I am going to be working in smaller sections and that's why I got so many of these and then that way at my hair doesn't get snagged onto the curlers. So with the curlformers, the spirals went different directions depending on the color of the curlers and with this they're pretty much the same. So I feel like the colors on this are not as important as with the curlformers, so these suede formers are the long ones. It was the longest one I was able to find, because my hair is pretty long. I am trying to grow these out to possibly donate my hair, because that is kind of a goal of mine to do at least once in my life and then the stick that it counts with actually comes in three parts, because it is so much longer. I'M just going to snap these together, okay, so these wave formers curlers pretty much have two rubber ends that are flat naturally, but then you can squeeze B sides and they'll open up and that's pretty much how you get your hair in there before I even grab Any sections I'm going to put the stick through the wave formers so that it's ready for me when I do grab my sections. So now I'm taking the stay with the wave formers on it and I'm just going to hook the section of my hair on there and I'm going to pinch the top of the wave former so that it opens up a little bit and then pull my hair. Through wish, me luck, okay, that actually went through a lot easier than with the curlformers okay, I'm gon na just continue doing this. I'M gon na scoot breaks just it's just white till Birnam out sunshine. We don't feel like in this town. That'S beautiful stars! Okay, so I have all of us the wave formers in and you guys I feel like I'm in a jungle of plastic right now, so I actually went through every single one of my wave formers. I thought I was going to have so many more because it seemed like there were so many more of these and there were the curlformers, I'm literally trying to like fight through these waveforms. So they can see you guys. So this part of the sections right here. I made a little bit thicker than the rest of my hair, just because I kind of ran out of wave formers, and I didn't want to have to take out any of the previous ones and have to redo all those. These did not snag as badly as the chrome formers, which was really nice, and maybe it was because I was working in smaller sections. I felt like when I had my hair a little bit too wet. It did snag a lot easier. You really want to make sure that each section is like comb through and doesn't have any tangles, or else it gets kind of tangled up in these tubes, and it just makes it really hard to pull it through, but other than that these went by a lot Faster than the crow formers with that said, it did take a really long time, though, just because you're working in such small sections anyway, I am going to just go about one day and wait for these to dry. I might try to use a hair dryer to speed up the process along the way, but I will check back with you guys in a few hours and then we'll take these out and see how these differ from the crow forwards and see if the style I Get from these are nice. Okay, see you guys soon, bye, alright guys, so it's been about three and a half hours since I put these waveforms and not gon na lie. These have not been very comfortable. Maybe it's like the placement of these like right. Next, to my face, they just keep getting in the way they don't like, hurt like with snagging on the roots of my hair, which is a good but see they're, not the most comfortable. I can't see myself sleeping in these and then about like the last hour. So they started getting really heavy. I was sitting at my computer trying to edit the footage that I have so far, and it just feels like I'm just carrying so much more weight that I'm normally used to on my head. But anyway, I can't stand to have this on my head any longer, so I'm hoping that they're all dry. So I can take him out. I'M gon na test one of these sections down here to see you with dry. Yet if it's not, then I'll just keep them in for a little bit longer, but if it is dry, okay, it's a lot prettier than I thought I put it product in this time. It'S dry, I'm just gon na go ahead and take them all out to remove these. You just want to pinch the top and bottom like rubber pieces to make them open up, and then you just pull your hair out. It should not hurt at all. I'M kind of nervous about the results of this, because I'm thinking like really smooth kind of like ribbon curls - and this is a little bit frizzy ER than I anticipated. You know what I'm just gon na keep going. It will work out in the end. Okay, it's actually not bad, so my hair is really soft. I don't know why I smelled it, but you know it's nice. Can I get curls without having that burnt smell? It'S not as frizzies. I thought it would be when I pulled out the first strand, which is good but yeah. I'M gon na go ahead and get rid of the rest of these and see how my whole head looks. Okay, oh my goodness that feels so much better with those curlers out, and here is what my hair looks like: it's actually really soft and wavy. I actually like this a lot better than I thought I would. I thought it was gon na be really frizzy when I took out my first curler, but once everything kind of falls together actually looks really good, and I like it because I normally part my hair down the middle. It kind of looks weird just because of where the curlers fell, so I think for this one I might have to kind of switch up my part a little bit so that I'm not getting like that crease from the curlformers, when I put it on so so Far, I am liking it, the wave formers a lot better than I liked the curlformers. This was so much easier to put in. It did not hurt nearly as badly as the curl formers and it didn't snag on my hair as much either okay. So I know I wasn't supposed to run my fingers through my hair. I just thought of it just now, but there I go again it's hard, because you know I always have a straight hair. So when I see myself with curly hair, I just want to run my fingers through it because it's so different, so I think the only section for me that I'm having a problem with is this one. This is actually the section that I think I ran out of way former, so I had to use bigger sections. It was like a very last piece that I put in wave formers, so that might be one of the reasons why it's a little bit frizzy than the rest of my hair, and it makes sense because everything else down here is actually very tight and uniform. And just looks really good and this one right here is just it's not as defined overall. I do actually like this, and I can definitely see myself using these in the future. If I want to go for it, this kind of you know really tight waves. Look, I think it is really cute. It is so different from what I'm normally used to. So it is kind of unique for me, and I do like that a lot and I like change it up a little bit. It does take a little bit longer a lot longer, just because you have to wait for it to dry and it is pretty heavy so that it's only negatives, I would say about these waveforms, but because you know these do not require any heat. It'S a really great heatless option to curl your hair, alright guys. Well, that is pretty much it for my wave formers review video.
