Hi guys today, i'm going to tell you guys how i refresh my hair, how i sleep and keep my curls or waves preserved overnight, and everything in between you guys have been asking me for this. I get so many questions asking how i sleep, how i refresh my curls etc. For this video i tried a variety of different sleeping methods and i also tried a few different styles of refreshing, my hair, to see which one was the best and we're gon na go over each of the results and talk about it. So first, let's talk about sleeping. The best thing you can do is get a silk pillowcase because it's antibacterial, so it's good for your skin and it won't mess up your hair as much. So it's basically a win-win, and it's really soft. I'Ve been sleeping with the silk pillowcase for like a year now, and my hair is a lot less frizzy for years. All i've been doing is simply just putting my hair underneath my head, like on top i just i've, just been sleeping with my hair above my head. Just like that. Luckily, i don't move around in my sleep a lot i tend to just sleep very peacefully, so my hair doesn't get disturbed. I also tried out the pineapple method during this little time period that i've been testing stuff and that's where you sleep with a silk scrunchie with all your hair above you, you can put it in a ponytail or in a bun, but you don't want it to Be too tight, so i just went one loop around and i'll show you guys the results from that on day, two hair. This is my day, two hair. It looks like this yesterday, so all i did last night was: i slept with my hair in a silk scrunchie above my head, only wrapped one time in a ponytail, it was super loose. It was basically out when i woke up, but it worked. So my hair has some pieces that are like wonky, but i'm probably just going to leave it because i don't like refreshing my hair multiple times so, regarding those methods of sleeping, i think they both work well for me, i really did like the way that the Pineapple turned out, i'm probably gon na - do that way more frequently. Now, first, let's talk about day, two hair. Most of the time, i don't have to do anything to my day, two hair. Of course it doesn't look as good as my day one, but i'm like. Okay with that, it's okay, if her hair, doesn't look perfect all the time and if i really need to, i can take a spritz bottle spray, my hair lightly, with some water to just get rid of some of the stringiness that happened in my hair. This is water with a few pumps of my moroccan conditioner mixed in, so i consider it like refreshing milk, that's what i like to call it, even though it's not it's my own creation, but it works really. Well, now: here's what i've noticed about refreshing, my hair. If i want to maintain volume, i can't brush it, but if my hair is too tangly, i can brush it and i still get sort of a different effect from each it's kind of weird. Maybe like a week ago, i was on day three i had slept at my boyfriend's house and my hair was just tangly, so i couldn't just spray this without it like feeling gross. So i decided to, for the first time miss my hair with water and then i brushed it out and then decided to re-scrunch from there. This is day three and, as you can see, the top is kind of straighter. My hair looks frizzy and we need some work. Let'S get started first, i split my hair down the middle and i get my dry shampoo. I use the batiste instant hair refresh in brunette because i have dark roots and i spray it and i flip my hair and i flip it to the other side, and i also want to get the crown on my head. So now i just let that sit in my hair for like a few minutes, i literally just learned that you're not supposed to like instantly rub in dry shampoo, like i thought you were supposed to just: do it right away but you're, not, i probably let that Sit in my hair for like a minute now i just flip my hair, and i just go like this from this technique. My hair sometimes has more volume on day two or three hey guys. This is my girlfriend taylor. She used to love me she's been giving me sass all morning. Will your subscribers cook you guys? No after i put in the dry shampoo, all i do is i take a spray bottle of water. I split my hair in half and i just missed it. This, like part of my hair, is super frizzy, so i might have to brush it. I don't typically brush my hair, but if there's something that's looking like a rat's nest, i will my hair has been through a lot, but i was like literally out in my brain the other day i mean honestly guys like i don't i don't mind when my Hair looks frizzier on like day three, four or five, because not gon na hold my hair to unrealistic expectations, and i can't get the phrase to go away completely, but i try my best so this part of my hair feels really tangled, so i'm gon na also Try brushing it foreign so now that you're, looking like a wet sewer rat you just let your hair dry again. It takes a lot less time to dry because your roots aren't all wet. Now you just take a microfiber towel and scrunch out the excess water. A little fun fact, if you guys use creams or gels or curl serums, whatever it is. If the first ingredient is water, then anytime you put water on your hair, it reactivates all those things, so you don't have to add them into your hair. Again, i'm just going to take a tiny bit of leave-in conditioner like really barely any and just get the ends of my hair i'll come back when my hair is dry because of this technique. I got some really cute curls like look at that and for all of you, people who say i don't have curly hair, then what is this? So i've actually never done that until today and i really like how it turned out. So that's cool. It has been about like 30 to 45 minutes and my hair's dry again, that's the best part about refreshing. Your hair is because you're not getting your scalp all wet dries way quicker. The fourth step of my refresh days is, i take a little bit of oil. You can use whatever oil you want. I love the moroccan oil big shocker. I also like the chi aloe vera oil too, so i just have a little bit here and i'm just gon na take it and apply it to my hair. This really helps with frizz and just makes my hair look better. It really makes my hair shiny too. On my typical refresh days when i don't brush my hair, i have more volume i tried to like get more volume. It didn't really work well. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to take some bobby pins and i'm just going to clip up front piece of my hair. I like doing this hairstyle if the front of my hair is a little bit more flat and it just adds a lot of volume last step, this is optional. I do this. If i want my hair to smell really good. Is i take this? It'S a 10 blow dry miracle spray and i just missed my hair. This is the best smelling hair product ever that's it! That'S how i refresh my hair. As you can see, it looks different than my day, one hair, it's less defined a little more frizzy. Maybe a looser wave, i'm totally fine with that. I kind of like that. My hair has a couple. Different looks like i can switch it up. The results were very interesting, so the curls came out more so in ringlet form when i brushed it out, but at the same time my volume was completely gone. I lost all the volume in my hair, so i can get many different results from doing different things. When we get to day four, that's when i kind of lose hope for my hair, i think that you guys think that my hair always looks a certain way like it always looks how it looks on day. One - and you ask me like how do you make it stay, looking good, you can't make it stay looking good forever by day four, i pretty much just put my hair in certain hairstyles, where my hair doesn't really get seen like i'll put my hair in a Ponytail or braids or a bun, i don't wear it down if i'm leaving the house, so that is my technique for day four and five one night this past week it was day three hair. For some reason, i decided to just brush my hair dry and see what happens so. I dry brushed my hair all the way through. As you can see. This is why girls with wavy or curly hair do not brush their hair. It literally poofs up so much it looks insane. Then my hair started reforming and when i added oil to it, it made it warm up even more and my hair was pretty soft. But again it had like no definition, and it didn't really look that good. But that's also something that you can do. It definitely is not something i'd recommend, but if you're that far into it you're like on day four, it doesn't hurt. That'S my baby right here. My hair looks like after brushing it and it's been like 10 minutes. It will maybe curl it more. I don't really know curl. I use that term loosely just like these curls. Why is the under half of my hair like completely straight though, what's that about? If i make it to like day five or six, i like to sleep in a conditioning treatment and then wash my hair the next day since we've been in quarantine, i've been totally stretching out my washes but like when we get to summer and i'm gon na Be active going in the pool being outside way. More all that stuff, i probably would wash my hair every three days, so i wouldn't really need to refresh on those later days. I hope that this answered all of your questions, there's just no miracle for curly or wavy hair, there's nothing that you can really do to make it last five days, especially when your hair is wavier like mine, because it's on a tight curl, they fall out just Like any curls do they, you know, gravity all that stuff pulls your hair down and it's gon na be looser, but i'm okay with that, like i've, just come to accept the looser waves on my hair. I still think it's beautiful all waves and curls and coils are all beautiful. That'S actually one problem that i do notice a lot on my videos. I will have a lot of people try to talk to me in a condescending way. Your hair is not curly lol. Like i don't even know, i get a lot of people saying that kind of stuff, as if curly hair is superior to wavy hair, when really all hair is unique and beautiful. That'S what makes it so great. Sometimes i feel, like girls, think it's a contest to see who can have the tightest curls number one. We don't even control our curl pattern. I was born with this curl pattern. You were born with yours and that's what makes it so amazing and it's great that we all have so many different types of curls and waves and ringlets, and who knows what? So. I think we should all try to be nicer to each other in this curl community that i'm kind of newly a part of i wasn't really ever making videos like this in the past. Stop curly, gatekeeping and saying mean things you guys should. Oh my gosh, i can probably make a whole video about it, but like basically, what i'm trying to say is just spread positivity and try not to make it seem like one is better than the other. The best thing you can do for your hair is just learn how to take care of it in the best way possible and embrace it for who you are. If you made it all the way to the end, comment red below and then i'll know that you're a real one. Thank you so much for watching. I hope that you have a great day, and i will see you soon bye and remember that your hair is beautiful just the way it is so

Brenna Pinto: The ending of this video is EVERYTHING. Just because someone has curlier hair doesn’t mean you don’t have curly hair! Everyone’s hair is different AND beautiful! Embrace those curls girl!! I love them!

Julia Bull: Does everyone else struggle to get the same curl type all over the head? I get some super ringlets in the nape of my neck and then some loose curls from the top as well as kinky waves. I want it to be more uniform and idk how is best to get that!

Katie Williams: all the wavy girls know "you're hair's not curly" "your hair's straight" it's sooo annoying, it really is not a competition!

Lindsay: Love how you say frizz is okay & that we can’t hold our hair to unrealistic standards!! I feel like my hair is frizzy no matter what I do, & it’s just gotta be something I embrace.

Bib: We have the same hair type and I was honestly about to refresh my hair, I found this sooo useful thank you!

Maddie Cassidy: this is always the HARDEST part of having curly hair -- refreshing it on non-wash days. my day 3 hair is just.......we shouldn't talk about it. love this tips + i can't wait to try them!

Beths Beauty: Yessss someone finally addresses the hate that wavy /curly hair gets from.other girls..I have a crazy curl pattern ..over the years before I started messing around with it and also age and a pregnancy it's changed ..also I've always had a tighter curl around the front and now my layers are long at back it's more like a wavy curl....also diff product or methods have an effect..no matter what ethnicity you are or what genes you have had in your family tree have an effect in how you've been passed on curly hair ..I'm glad you said that it doesn't matter straight curly wavy coily or a mixture of the above ..whatever you have its unique and beautiful

FullmetalFrancy: I think that type 2B/2C curles are the ones who get most hate because some people see us as straight-haired girls who get their hair to be "kinda-curly" just by adding a ton of styling products. It doesn't work like this, I've spent all my life washing and styling my hair as straight and not understanding why it was so frizzy and messy. It's not just a 0-1 scale of curly -straight hair, there are lots of in-betweens and even us with wavy hair like to have some feedback from influencers with their same hair type.

Abby Walker: I never understand the argument. Waves are a type of curl. It’s called “curl types” for a reason.

Alysiah Divina: The end is everything. Way to stay positive through the negativity. I have experienced a similar hair story to yours. I just recently found out my hair was 2A/2B -and just thought I had “frizzy” hair my entire life. I was constantly straightening and curling it because my natural hair was just not “cute.” I love watching your videos. Im learning to embrace my beach /loose waves and am currently trying to “nurse” my waves back to health. Keep doing what you’re doing. I’m sure your impacting many more girls positively than negatively

Dora: When you brushed your hair out dry I literally thought I was looking in a mirror.... I just discovered your videos yesterday and I’m so excited to try out your tips! The curly girl method never fully worked for me so I’m super excited to find a routine that works for me red ❤️

Meg C.: Your hair is SO gorgeous. The color and length, everything looks so beautifully effortless. The gate keeping really has to stop. People saying wavy hair is not curly hair because it is not in the “3s” is crazy. That would be like saying kinky coils in the “4s” are not curly because they aren’t labels as “3 curls” but they are all curl patterns. Especially when people use a CURLING iron to get wavy curls. They aren’t called waving irons.

Bethan Harding: You can have a mix of waves and curls and you have both. People who say you haven't got curly hair are just trying to annoy you, luv you xx

shms: Those refreshing tips were EXACTLY what i needed!! I just learnt how to form my curls well without using heat, but I'm still struggeling to keep them after day 2...

Alexa’s Curls: Literally can't get over your hair. I always need to click immediately.

Marissa Alvarez: I love what you said about the curly girl community and that we all need to be nicer to each other because we all have beautiful hair regardless of the exact type! This is why you’re my favorite curly girl Youtuber

hemmoari: i loved the ending! my hair is such a mix, on some days i have super curly hair, on other days (most of the time) just wavy like 2b hair and on others it's almost completely straight with just a little texture. Same goes for different parts of my hair like my back is usually where the curls are the most defined while my front pieces just loosen up way quicker and become pretty much straight after the third day. Every hair is different, it's not a contest and no one should feel superior. ITS JUST HAIR lets all embrace it as long as its healthy :)

BringBringBeep: You have the same curl pattern as me and I'm so thankful I've found you! On week two of letting my hair do what it wants to do after years of just thinking I had "hagrid frizzy hair". You're videos are so wonderfully helpful, thank you!

angela 🧬: i’ve always gotten so frustrated when my hair uncurls after a couple days and the end of the video message was really nice to hear

Kayla B: Yes Girl! Preach! Day two hair is fun and funky-it works. Day 4 looks so cute!!

Cindy: We have such a similar hair pattern! This helped a lot, thank you! And I love how you say you have different looks with how your hair decides to be, that’s a great way to see things. My curl pattern used to be a tighter curl but after kids it’s wavy/curly and I’m trying to get used to it! Enjoying the process though! Your videos are great, and you are absolutely beautiful! ❤️

SassyJ: I love your curl pattern. It is similar to mine and it changed my life to let it be wavey curly instead of fry it all the time. You go girl.

Mariajosé Vigo: I have the exact same hair as you!! So good to finally be able to find a video with your similar hair type, I’ve been refreshing my hair as you do and it looks so so good now! Thank you Taylor

Issy Murphy: Of course we have curly hair, it can be difficult loving your hair when each stand isn’t identical but it’s even harder when people judge you for the hair you were given‍♀️keep spreading positivity

Diana Tran: I'm sooo happy I found your videos! I've been struggling to fix my hair. I used to have very curly hair as a kid and it straighten out over time or so I thought. Now I'm realizing that I've been brushing them out and using heat tools that ruined my curl patterns. It's always frizzy and I've been brushing it out and bleaching it multiple times. I never knew about refreshing until today. *_* You're about to change my goddamn life, thank you so much gorgeous! <3 I love your positivity and your humor!

Hiba Rashad: i dont know if you'll never see this comment, but thank you for making videos like these. Your curl pattern is almost exactly like mine and it helps me ALOT. Like you, I'm constantly compared to people with curlier or less frizzy hair and its really annoying. For the longest time I HATED my hair and would straight it almost every week or wear it in a ponytail. Once I found a couple products that made my hair less frizzy, I got the courage to wear it out to school one day and a lot of my friends said it looked better straightened. When I went on youtube to see what I could find, I think I cried after seeing a few of your videos. It was like the curly gods sent you as a curly guardian angel for me. Sorry about the long message lol but thanks for making these videos!

Giskokwe Hill: We have the same exact hair, finally found a useful refreshing video I can put to use for my curly/waves!!

Stitch the Magnificent: Thank you for your videos. I have wavy/thick hair and I’ve struggled with how to take care of it and embrace my waves. Your tips are so helpful and life changing. No exaggeration. Especially the detangling after applying conditioner. No more pain whilst combing my hair anymore! Also, the tips on where to apply conditioner and leave-in conditioner really helps my scalp which gets oily while my ends tend to be dry.

shellebelleluvsred: Loved this!! THANK YOU!! My hair type is exactly like yours. And I have only recently come to part of the road in my own curly hair journey to be right where you are! The irony that I would fall upon your video today! I’ve seen a couple others now and yours is by far the best one. This one and the one right before it where u went thru the whole journey you had discovering your curls & having gone thru that traumatic experience the hair dresser that bleached your whole middle to ends instead of baylayage. ☹️ I was so sad for you & your hair!!I just subscribed.

Lys Vidnik: Thank you for sharing your routine! I always thought my hair was a frizzy straight hair. But recently I realized it's actually a wavy hair. My waves are very similar to yours and I'm learning a lot with your tips!

Kirin: I love this channel for all the wavy hair positivity it gives me! ❤

dawn s.hunters: thank you for this, I have the same hair type and exact same problem on my day 2,3 and 4. this was a blessing

Anne Mathews: RED girl thanks for some really good tips, I'm just getting into the curly community too and I thought this was so helpful I'll be keeping your mentioned products in mind next time I want a new one & your curls are so beautiful!!!!!! sending love and hope you're staying safe and well(;

Saumya Srivastava: I've literally the same hair type as yours and I love it now. I'm embracing it. Thank-you for your videos ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

hotla7: Taylor keeps it real. Love your positivity and that you accept yourself as is

Jenny Wallace: Red... Thanks for making such a REAL video about curls and refreshing them! The fact that our hair just doesn’t look the same from day 1 to day 4, should be talked about more. Your positive attitude about your curls is awesome! Thanks!

Rheya: Thanks for this! Somehow my hair turned from curtain straight to wavy/curly, and I was still not used to managing it. It's been frizzy and weird but hopefully this will help

aprilbenditz: You really inspired me to embrace my waves. Thank you for that!♥️

Celene Quintero: Thank you for this video Taylor. It’s really helpful ❤️

Lourdes Martin Andrade: This video helped me soo much! For the longest time I didnt understand my hair and didn't know how to treat it, what to use, etc. I have to thank you, not only for this video, but for each of them you make, because thanks to you my hair now looks much better and my curls are much more healthy and defined

Cheyenne Stewart: You have my exact curl! Thank you.

Claudia Cardenas: You have put into words what I have also been feeling about not having "real curls". Thank you for speaking out on unique hair and how it's all beautiful! I also am new to my own curl maintenance and have a hard time finding people/videos that use products that are good for a similar hair type as me. So thank you! (red)

Dezirae Dulaney: You and your hair are so beautiful! Don’t let anyone bring you down girl

Laura Schneider: Reddd thank you so much for another great video. Only a few weeks in to giving up the hair straightener and trying to embrace/discover my waves. Your videos are so helpful and encouraging! Thanks!!!

Mutant Ninja: I just discovered your channel and I'm loving it. And just let me start by: I LOVE the ending of your video. I have basically struggled with my hair for a very long period of my life. I went through the "straightening to fix it" and "wearing it in ponytails and buns forever", and ofc the DOZENS of haircuts that went INCREDIBLY wrong. I've been called Hermione and Christmas tree (etc) on elementary school... LMAO I've been humiliated by a teacher in COLLEGE bc of my hair (and i knew how to treat it then); Anyway, basically I had all the "terrible" hair experience that one would expect from a textured hair without proper care. And here's the thing, i never once thought my hair was straight. All my life I thought it was curly, but a rebel and undefined curly, that's how I "identified" myself because there was no way my hair was straight and honestly the whole concept on "wavy" hair felt foreign and rare to me as my hair never had those beautiful beachy waves or whatever you'd (supposedly) expect from someone with wavy hair. Fact is, even after learning how to take care of my hair, I only really got into this community and realized my hair was (mostly) WAVY when I was 27 years old. And then I witnessed exactly what you described, a lot of people being condescending and aggressive when they dared say a wavy hair was curly. And it was so insane to me?? Specially because some people try to defend it by saying "curly hair is harder to take care of/you don't know how hard it is" as if many of us wavy girls don't have to live with a lot of frizz, definition problems, volume problems and HECK bullying during childhood. You'd think the community where we learned to embrace ourselves would be a bit more loving and accepting if you make a technical mistake (that doesn't even matter). All hairs are beautiful, from 1 to 4, and we should embrace that.

Grayson Adams: I’m so happy I found your channel! I have never met anyone with the same curl pattern as me until I saw your hair! And I’m 21! I’ve gone all this time not knowing what to do with my hair. Thank you for choosing to make YouTube videos. I finally know what to do with my hair

Ibadondor Marweiñ: Your hair routine aside, I love the message behind this video. It's really positive . Thank you

n1h1L1s7ka: Thank you for sharing your refresh routine! Stay beautiful, curly and good person :) and remember - haters gonna hate, so don't mind them ;)

Lorri Melynchek: I've greatly enjoyed your videos! Thank you for all the tips, tricks and info. I have not embraced my natural curl since high school and I would love to try and get it back.

Lexi: Omg u are gorgeous and sooo positive, I love it! For the first time I think this might be a hair routine that will work for me! Finding someone on YouTube with the same hair pattern/texture as me has been impossible, thank u so much!

Tiffany Martin: RED- You are amazing and are so helpful to me on my new journey. I am an adult, an older adult who had NO idea I even had wavy hair until it began becoming really difficult to blow dry, and certain sections always trying to separate from others (no matter how much I fought with it each day).... I happened to see an IG video of someone mentioning their curly girl journey and had no idea what they were talking about....and then, I wondered if some of the "wavy" I had seen in my life, in my own hair, was actually "curl type wavy". Because when I was little, curly was curly and wavy was not even a thing. You either had straight hair or you had curly hair (if that makes sense) so my hair was always blow dried straight and I have always brushed it straight and used heat on it...no big deal and it turns out I have really wavy hair....so I am trying to figure it out now. It is really hard to get a handle on it as an adult. But it is REALLY responding well. It is just so different. And I have to learn what products it likes or doesn't, and not wash it every day anymore (no problem), how to properly refresh, be okay with bad hair days, etc. lol It is a lot to learn and take in. So, thanks for what you are doing! Love your channel!

Juliana: OHHH, you can't believe how happy i was when i found this video. My hair texture is exactly like yours, and lately i've been so insecure because i kept comparing it to curlier types (so i always thought mine was ugly or something like that). Anyways, with your video, i was able to try this new refresh technique and i couldn't be happier now. Thank you for sharing this. Instantly subscribed hahah Kisses from Brazil <3

jessica huntley: I love that you let your hairs “uniqueness” come through each day. Great tips I lm going to add the drops of conditioner to my water usually I just re wet without. Much love

Nom Nom: Leaving a comment for the first time. Absolutely love this video. Answered all my wavy hair questions

Shannon Johnson: This was very helpful. I’m new to my curly journey. I’ve been working with my waves since June 1st. I lost a lot of hair due to surgeries, because of the anesthesia. So it’s growing back in wavy. I have been rewetting and reapplying all of my products everyday. Genius when you said water will reactivate products that have water as the first ingredient. I’ll watch more of your videos. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot more. Thank you. And your hair is beautiful

Abigail Irving: omg this is so helpful!! I didn't know that I had "curly" hair (I knew it was wavy and I don't brush it cause it just goes frizzy )but my hair looks like ur day three all the time!! thank you so much!!!

marita: This video was incredibly helpful, as I have the same hair type as you. I never knew what to do with my hair cause its not kinky curly but has some pretty good definition on day 1 and day 2, after that its just frizz. Thank you for showing your tips ;)

mihaela: This HELPED ME SO MUCH. I was wondering how to style my waves/curls after I wake up because they look so weird and tangled. After styling my hair like you did, it looks just like day 1st! Thank you endlessly

Lina: you radiate such confident energy and you seem so humble. you’re beautiful! great video by the way, i’m trying to start taking care of my curly hair so thank you!

Mikayla Gilman: This video really helped me with my curls! Thank you!

harrisonpamela40: Loved all of these tips and especially your closing message of acceptance and self love❤️

Claire Ferrand: I'm finally wearing my hair in it's natural state, so I'm binging wavy/curly hair tutorials. And I've been hit in the face by the state of my hair after day 3 and I didn't understand why it didn't look like day 1 or 2, I'm relieved it's 'normal' and this tutorial is really helpful to understand and fix my hair otherwise I would have gone back to straightening it etc.

mycoffeisgood: If I would wake up with your hair day 3, I would be happy! You look amazing. I have similar structure of hair but sooo much thiner. It encourages me to take care of my hair more! :D

Bruna Coletta: Your hair is AMAZING! And waves are curls! Your video really helped me see hope in my hair, because I have an none defined hair like it’s not curly or straight. So thanks

Tay Mars: You're the first person I've seen with my same hair type on here and I now feel like I can start to get a handle on it. Thank you so much!!

Matilde De Bei: Red❤ I love the words you've said at the end, you're completely right! I think lots of people sometimes behave in a mean and rude way only because of jealousy; you (and your hair) are amazing girl! I hope you an amazing day

Courtney A: I’ve always had thick fine wavy hair and I always searched for ways to tame my hair definitely gonna use some of these tips. Also I went to school for cosmetology regardless the type of curls it’s still called a curl pattern I never did understand why some people make it a big deal

Annie o: This was sooo helpful! You are my saviour! my hair is exactly like yours when I brush it I lose all my curls and it goes poofy and I always thought I needed to brush my hair but I now realise that it destroys my curls if only I found this out years ago! And I always wanted to figure out how to keep my curls in between washes.

Abigail Zelaya: omg this what I needed!!! & girllll you're so right -- everyone is born with their own curl pattern, so like why hate? Anyways reddddd :-)

Teresa Lechuga: I have the same hair type. Curls, waves, whatever....it doesn't dry straight and ends up poofy if brushed. Thank you for sharing. Embracing my natural hair in quarantine and your tips really helped. My husband calls it a lions mane. Rawr.

Leandra: I used to have 3a curly hair and overtime hormones have changed my texture to something in between 2a and 2b. I love both textures but do get comments from people that my hair used to be so pretty. It still is but people are just so ignorant. I struggle with constantly learning how to take care of my hair as the texture seems to change so frequently. Thanks for the helpful tips.

Hannah Duncan: I started doing the spray with conditioner when you first mentioned it in an older video and it’s helped my hair a lot! Of course I have always had to comb it before I used the spray because I didn’t know how you went without knots! It works though.

keroleena1: Glad I watched this. I need to stop stressing about frizz and my curls disappearing after day 1. My hair is wavy and I wish it was curly and long and bigger lol but it took me a very long time to go natural so I need to let go of those curly hair ideals and embrace my wavyness. I get ringlets as well on random parts of my hair. Mainly when I diffuse but....who has time to diffuse ‍♀️ Anywho, great video with great wisdom and techniques :)

Francesca Mecionis: I just want to say your videos are EXTREMELY helpful and they give me hope for my hair!! I have type 2B waves and a balayage as well. I have been looking for ways to bring my natural curls back. Would you consider making a video on products / tips you use immediately after you dye your hair and the months after (i.e. using purple shampoo / masks with toner, how often do you dye it)?

Cleo Tellier: What's the name of the product you mixt with water (in your spray bottle)

Eduarda X.: Ive been watching your videos and I’m so happy to have found someone with my hair type that takes such good care of their hair! Thank you! Excited to take better care of my hair

Fun 'do's By Trish: Your hair is beautiful! I'm trying to "reform" my wavy hair into more curls and man is it a journey! Often I am about ready to give up until I get a good wash day and then I'm like "Holy crap, I do have curly hair!" It really depends on what products your hair responds to and technique.

BriannaHouck23: Great tips! I have the same hair type as you, by the 3rd day I usually have to put it up in a bun because it gets frizzy and stretched out.

Andrea Adams: Your hair is so beautiful and it looks curly to me! ❤️

Jana Smith: Great hair tips. I have a very similar curl pattern as you. I've been experimenting and find that using a pick while it is wet does a wonderful job with my hair. lets the curl pattern define well. I use a large one.

karina: THANK YOU SO MUCH omg you have no idea how much this helped me, my hair is always super frizzy and until a couple days ago i didn’t know i had wavy hair and i’ve been doing some research but i just didn’t know how i would refresh it the next couple days. this helped me so much thank you

uv.vibes: Embrace the curls bc you definitely got em!! I would even give attention to those who say your hair isn’t the way it is but I agree with you

Maria Ortega: I have naturally straight hair but I love watching these videos ALL my sisters have Curly/Wavy hair. Some are more curly than others & it doesn’t matter all our hair is beautiful & require different routines ✌which is awesome cause we all have different experiences & relationships & we tell each other about them & try to help as much as we can & that’s what everyone should try to do. That’s why I love watching even though my hair is straight

Call Me Quiet ASMR: I’m waiting for my curly hair supplies to arrive in mail, your hair is gorgeous, I can’t wait to play around and see how curly I can get my hair!

Concepcion Cabrera: I absolutely love you and your hair. Thank you for the positive words because I really needed them <3 I just started taking care of my wavy hair and get disappointed often
