What'S good everybody, the sisters are back. That'S us. If you don't know us, I am young girl Mel and I am her sister Amanda. We hope you're all feeling fine here it is summertime, as we know that you guys have been asking for our updated current. Go to summer routines and we're gon na bring it to you. Well, we also realize I mean we showed you guys how we do our very own hair plenty of times on this channel. We thought to switch off today's video we'll share our current products, but on different hair textures different hair textures girls boom hi, I'm amber, I'm Tiffany, believe it or not. We are related to these two beautiful. Ladies, you see here. Although our textures look very different, they are not that different. In fact, we have the exact same products in our hair right now we have the same products and we have the same products and, as you can see, they have gorgeous wavy hair that they didn't even know they had before. We started, though no they were treating the hair like straight hair, also wondering why it was always so frizzy and they could never just leave it to air dry with no products. Thank God they have us as cousins right right, you know. Thank us right now. Thank you. So if you are struggling with your wavy hair - and you didn't even know you had it, we're gon na show you how we achieve these hooks and with the hope, further ado. Let'S get to it, you won't work really quickly with wavy hair because well, if you have waited here, you've been dealing with it. You realized the curl can fall out really quick, so you want to get right to it. I am just average Amanda. That was the professional hairstylist, so I'm going to be following along as best I can Tiffany back to you wish me luck, so don't mess with the curl too much. Okay, you can see the natural texture happening. It'S a little questionable right now. Many people would just consider this straight. You know easily brush it out, blow-dry it which you guys usually yeah. If your hair looks like this, when you get out of the shower, you can easily follow this routine, even though we're using our very own T's on their wavy hair. It'S not gon na give them our curl, but it will give them the same type of nourishment hydration definition and hold that's what we're looking for here to enhance the texture so to wash we use finola's restructuring shampoo and to condition we went in with the nutria Care for structuring mask they needed a little extra extra, no they're, both quite blond, which has taken quite a toll on their waves as well. It'S only making our job harder, but giving you guys realistic results, so their hair is drying. Let'S get right to it. We'Re gon na jump right into prep product and with wavy hair. You want to apply very wet. At least you know the first products, the bumble and bumble hairdressers, invisible oil, which I am using on my hair and on Amber's hair today is gon na give us heat protection because we will be diffusing. It also provides UV protection, which is you know what we're looking for now, that it is summertime and how does it smell products right now and I'm using four Nola's nutria care ten and one spray: what's nice about these products? Is they just spritz on it? Keeps it really lightweight? You do not want to weigh down wave your hair so to style our go-to products have been for me. It'S the brioche you'll curl, charisma, leave-in, defining cream and I'm gon na apply very small amounts for wavy hair little goes a long way just like that for the whole head, and I can to a moisturizing curl activator cream, loving this cream, and I really excited to See how it turns off her tips. So again, I'm just using a little bit just gon na apply it from her midst to ends just like Mel is doing for amber, but mine's gon na come up better man, who's leading the pack here. So at this point, we're gon na start brushing the products through only because we want to make sure them to get even product distribution, so very gently working from the midst ends, and at this point you may get discouraged you might brush the hair and be like. Okay, wait: the hair is straight, but it's not there's still curl in there and we're gon na get right to it. Okay, it's so important to make sure that the product is evenly distributed. You don't the potential of your hair know the truth now for the next step after you make sure that your product is evenly distributed, and you brushed it to the point where it looks straight, make sure your hair is wet. Okay, if your hair is dry yeah, it's gon na dry straight, but keeping the hair wet keeps the curl active and that way we can shape it, because that's we're gon na do next. We'Re gon na be defining the curls. So take your spray bottle or, if you're at home, this is gon na, be really easy, because, honestly just do this all right away in the shower now, while Amanda's spring. I just want to say the reason why I'm using the brioche oil products why they work so well in my hair and why. I know they're also gon na work really well in evers. Hair is because they have high concentrations of proteins and, with such blonde hair protein works amazingly to help define the curl, give it a little extra structure and also enhance the curl, and on top of all that, it also helps to repair so protein in products for Blond hair is key, is the key, and now that we are soaking girls yeah see me the flip. Flip, don't ruin your makeup. Oh no hear you so now that your upside down we are going to continue to what we want to do is actually I want to be wetting the roots right now, because I want them to sit upside down you again if you're at home do the whole Thing upside down, like don't even flip, break your neck. I'M sorry! You have to break your necks. So now you can already start to see their hair is clumping. When you have a wave, if you want more defined hair, you want to clump the hair together. If you want big hair, you don't need as many clumps, but we can deal with volume later. So basically, what we've done here is smooth all of the hair with the brush upside down, so that we're working the hair off of the scalp so right now we just want to make sure that there are nice clumps and we're going to use our brush to Really define we're working upside down, because this is going to help lift the hair off of the root. This is going to help us achieve more volume and more curl definition in the root, and you can see it's it's crazy. The hair just looks kind of straight, but why do you do this? Is it help to smooth down any wet frizz and any little frizz and flyaways in between the curl and the hair is still very wet? So what we're going to do from here is start scrunching from the bottom, lift up squish and squeeze the hair pulsing and release singles, because you need to do that a lot while the hair again is nice and wet we're pulsing the product into the hair you'll. Only get this effect when you are working in really nice and wet hairs. You got to hear that squish you will find your hair is dripping a little bit. So if you feel like some of the curls are wonky and not doing their thing from here, you want to finger coil, the nice big chunks that you see just try it swirling them around your finger. That'S gon na help to spiral them a little bit and give it a little bit more definition. Really big sections. You don't want to break up the clumps that are naturally forming, but if the curl is not working, it's not cooperating, twirl it to let it fall, and now we're gon na set this with a gel. I am going in with Brio, Jo curl, charisma, rice amino and quinoa frizz control gel it's what I've been using in my hair, that's what Amber is getting and I'm using the weed dad advance climate control, anti frizz, nanotech, ji-hee and humidity gel. This is something that i've been using on my hair throughout the entire summer so far, and I've been really enjoying it so we'll see how it works for Tiffany. Now we're going to apply with a technique called glazing. We don't want to break up these beautiful clumps. We just put in we're going to very gently caress, smells very gently caress the hair, look, how beautiful, but you want to be very gentle and we're also gon na continue to pulse this scrunching Queen baby. So the curls and the girls are looking amazing. We are going to plop their hair because with wavy hair now that you've styled it so wet, you want to start alleviating a little bit of the drying time by using a towel before the diffuser, so you're going to slowly lower your head into your towel beauty. Very good, let the curls spiral up and then take the towel. Let it sit at the base of your neck. Basically, you are going to scrunch up your hair in the towel. This is one from the perfect hair care. It has a little it's an impossible time. Yeah at the back, we're winning. No it's okay amber can sit up. She needs to break in now to anyone who doesn't know what plopping is girls. Have you ever heard of floppy Nabu? Yes, it's a very quite unfortunate name. To be honest, let me tell you what flopping and what flopping is gon na do for you, while you were sitting in here, is it's gon na help to dry your hair in the shape that you want it? Your hair is scrunched up in these towels, and that is how we set hair. We set hair from going from wet to dry, so while it is drying, if it dries in this scrunched up shape, it is going to have much more balance and curls. So we want it to dry like this for a little bit of time, but we also don't want to leave it in these towels for far too long, because the towel can absorb too much of the hair product which, if you feel like too much product. Maybe that's a solution for you, but we want to make sure that we still have a good amount of gel in there to provide you guys with some hold and now we're gon na move on to the diffuse and the only way to diffuse is we have A full video on how to diffuse and how not to diffuse, and we're also going to do it on these very fine young. Ladies here with us, watch it carefully remove the plump. Yes, if you're gon na diffuse put hover before it, you have our diffuse to help to set the curls also for the least amount of heat damage. There'S no media damage what your hovering and just for the best results possible, so starting upside down, then from side to side. We are going to use the diffuser to hover around now going back to what I just said. Your hair is going to take whatever shape you set it in right. If you dry the hair scrunched up, it will dry more scrunch. If you want to looser wave your effect, then just hover diffuse, but if you do want to enhance that curl even more, we are just going to hover diffuse the roots to make sure that the roots are dry before we go in and completely scrunch the curls. With the diffuser, let it dry for a few seconds and then release and move on to the next section and you're going to continue to dry your hair in sections like so when you have the diffuser right up to the hair, you want to lower the heat. So you're not causing any panic heat damage. Let it dry here for even a couple minutes, but when you are diffusing because you're not so close to the hair, you can go in with high heat any kind of damage. Okay, these are dry yeah, it's crazy! I can't believe my hair did this, but I've never seen my hair like this curly and, like this defined poorly. I don't even know my hair could do this and, more importantly, how does it feel it feels good good? It'S not heavy at all. No, it feels really light. Does your hair feel a little bit we dead stronghold gel definitely has a little bit more cast, which works well. It helps give a little bit more definition with the brioche. Your gel is definite or of a soft cool. Jagged feel soft. This will give you a loser, because I always knew that your heavy potential and I do look forward to see your hair flourish even more. This is only the first time, they've really style their hair like this, and if this is the first time that you're styling a year like this, just though there is opportunity to grow, your hair will likely get even better. The more and more you wear your hair curly, the more and more definition will have, because it will start to find its way and train itself to be more curly. So I mean this will get even better from here, and also I mean a good haircut, good yeah, of course, what we're looking at here. It'S just hair that hasn't been cut. There'S not many layers, there's also a lot of potential for some extra balance. So maybe we need a little bit shape-up haircut. Let us know if you're interested in seeing some hair cutting the videos - and you know us we're always here to bring you what you guys want to see girls. I have to thank you so much for being very special guests in today's video. Thanks for having really does fly and before you know it it'll be another Tuesday. Video so make sure you guys are subscribed, turned out a notification bells share this video with a wavy or curly friend, and we will see you guys here next and every extra Tuesday, thanks for tuning in please, okay, we're recording, relied three two one. These are our cousins. These are our cousins, we know them, they know. I think my dad knows your dad. I did it betters makeup, I did it look, it's just. It looks natural. I also did my name without further ado. Let'S yeah, okay, they smell like corn. Oh, is it bad that when I look at the light and I'm spraying on Nola's and you to care, so what we're brushing out the hair, let's learn a little bit more about you too. So why don't you guys tell them how old you're so pregnant style is done? Those fast is good. We'Re off to a good smart. The only way to diffuse is upside down, and the only way to diffuse is thanks for tuning in

Donye Keesee: As a black women, I would always look at white women with “straight” hair and I can see the potential waves. Time for white women to experience the natural hair journey. Edit: I didn’t know my comment would resonate with so many people and it makes me so happy!

Manda G: I would love to see a next day refresher for the wavy hair.

Kallysta G: 2:36- Shower products used 2:58- Prep products (heat sprays) 3:49- Style Products (brush creams through hair) 5:18- Spray water on hair to keep it wet, keeps curl active 6:20- Flip hair upside down, spray water at roots 7:05- Brush out in clumps, twist stragglies 7:30- Scrunch wet clumps up 8:29- Gel products (grazing) 9:35- Plop 11:46- Diffuse

Daymickey: Please do a part 2 where we see what their hair looks like after a proper curly cut and after a few cycles of a curly routine. Thumbs up if you agree so Mell can see!

Clau Panquecito: "Straight hair that's always frizzy" should be the first indicator that your hair's not as straight as you thought

Queenie Okami: When the perm I got still didn't fall out after 10+ years I eventually realized I probably had naturally wavy hair and didn't know it...

Aspen Leany: I have “straight frizzy hair” and I got some of the products mentioned in this video today! My mom has a lot of natural curl in her hair so I’m hoping I do too! Wish me luck!

danilearose: I never knew that people with my hair type were supposed to have specific hair care routines until I started working at a residential facility. A few of the girls there with really curly hair had to explain to me that I need to take care of my hair too and they helped me pick out products. My hair literally has never looked better.

Karla Rivera: I have wavy hair but I would never follow a routine like this because I hate the stiff look of my waves with all these products I think the crunchy look is really beautiful on curly hair but not so much on wavy hair. I just want soft bouncy waves but obviously my hair loses its pattern at the end of the damn day lol

Apple: If EVERY curly/wavy/coily girl would embrace their naturalness then we would be seeing so many beautiful hair types..

Swtorista: Such a great video thanks.

pinkette: It's so cute how the left cousin looks like the left sister, and the right cousin looks like the right sister!

Emily Vidovich: Mell just changed my hairs LIFE with this video. I don’t think I would’ve worn my hair down again without straightening it if I hadn’t found this because I was so sick of my frizzy hair that didn’t dry straight but didn’t dry into “nice” waves either. I’ve literally had my hair in a bun this whole pandemic. I just tried this method for the first time and the result is nice ass beachy waves and no frizz. You have unlocked my hair’s potential, bless ya heart!

Life Lessons from Dog: When I tell you I have watched TOO MANY videos on waves/curls and this is the first one that I felt actually got me feeling confident in working my wave!

Christina Vargas: Can I just say I truly appreciate the fact that you don't "shade" wavy or loose curls, ever. There are so many people that discredit looser curls and just make it seem less than. They'll say "I'm having a bad hair day, it's just wavy not curly" .... looser curls get this negative connotation associated with it but you, a curly queen, doesn't ever shade any type of hair. Ever. It doesn't go unnoticed how much thought and research you put into your videos. Thank you for including all curl types

Jill Smith: Until I was in my 50s my hair was straight as a board, couldn’t hold a perm or curl at all. Then it started to change and developed the most beautiful waves. My hair finally has body and I’ve totally embraced it.

Kayla Joy: wow this makes me feel better about my hair! my hair looks exactly like theirs before and after the added products. i always felt like i was just convincing myself that i have wavy hair after adding products, but this video shows me i just have a different wave type. i knew my frizzy hair meant something more was going on!!

olivia: this just shows how much respect we need for wavy and curly hair girls. pERIODT

Christabella Angel: I feel so excited for this next chapter of my life! I never felt I fell into the straight hair category, but felt silly saying it was any sort of wavy. I feel so encouraged. Thank you ladies!

Liz Diaz: in hispanic culture/society, people often think there's such thing as "frizzy" textured hair. nope, that's just curly/wavy/kinky hair you have no idea how to handle

FrostedLegos: This is brilliant! If only I could get a "here's a five second routine for that impatient four year old."

Heidi Florian: You just changed my life omg. I stumbled on this video looking for videos on what to do with my daughter’s hair which is very obviously curly. I was like, wait could it be? Nah... But out of curiosity I bought some curl cream and busted out the diffuser from the back of the drawer and holy my hair is wavy. I’m still processing. Y’all I’m almost 40 and had zero clue my hair is not just kind of frizzy.

Ordinary Mary: This video has officially inspired me to start my own wavy hair adventure!! I love how everything was explained, and I just love how funny you guys are. It really felt like I was hanging out with a couple friends. Thanks for making/sharing this video! <3

Amelie Ahyoka: THIS WORKS! Thank you <3 I did this today and its the first time in months I LOVE my hair. I filmed it too and will post it on my channel in a few weeks. Would love to see a follow up for wavy girls, how to maintain the hair the days after, how to sleep without ruining it and how to refresh :)

Cerridwen Kaiding: This reminds me of how I felt whenever I first figured out how to style my hair I always have had curly hair, but my mother has mostly straight hair and my dad had short hair all growing up so I never had anyone to teach me how to care for my hair. It’s awesome to see other people finding out how to care for their hair!

debashri27: Thank you for this video! I tried the method you showed in this post yesterday and for the first time ever, I can see defined waves and curls. I had to use the products I had at hand rather than what you recommended, but I'm still uber impressed by the results. It makes so much sense to brush one's hair while wet to make the waves detangle and also get defined. I've been trying TCG method for ages and spent so much time and money trying to get it right and failing miserably. I kind of gave up and decided I just had awful hair. But with the results I got with what you showed plus the not-to-great products I had at home, I think I can pick something good and actually see good results. I also want to add that my hair doesn't just look better, it also feels right... and that's a very new sensation for me.

Cin Seven: This is the most helpful tutorial (on wavy hair) that I’ve seen - covering all the basics I should know but don’t!

Jennifer Asif: This was awesome! First time watching you guys! My hair used to be stick straight but now for several years it’s been frizzy and curls up, especially when it gets humid and around the edges. I didn’t know what to do about it and I think this might be the answer! I’m allergic to artificial fragrance so I can’t use those same products but I’m going to experiment!

Shelly Carpenter: I feel so much validation with how I've been styling my wavy hair, especially the really wet clumpy hair bit. Need to take to plopping again. It goes against a lot of rules for curly hair, but it works!

Britni Forystek: I would love to see an update on the girls hair, like if they continue this journey and what products they like.

Mary Wallace: Mell, your videos have turned my hair world sideways in just a few days. I wasn't sure if my hair had wave potential, but I scrunched my old conditioner in the shower and suddenly my hair was wavy! Now I'm on day 3 of my wavy hair journey and very excited. I used to have to sit for my friends with a curling iron for 3 hours and a whole bottle of hairspray just for a few hours of curls. Using your methods and the right products, my hair is taking right to it! Thanks so much for your dedication and posting so many tutorials <3 <3 <3

Erica Mora: this was such a helpful video!! i can’t wait to try this out and see where my curly hair journey goes. thank you guys! ☺️

Mercedes Warlow: this is the most realistic “didn’t know” curl video i’ve seen, my hair looks like theirs and after watching this i feel so much more motivated to learn about my waves

Elizabeth Boothe: Omg i have just started using Amanda and Tiff's routine and my frizzy wavy hair is starting to look so much better!!! The curls are looking so much more sleeker and shiny! I have shared this video with so many of my curly haired besties and wow the difference a change of products can make! Also im loving the smell of the Fanola

Omileti: I seriously looove you both. Your guidance has helped my hair look fabulous! It can be improved but it's WAY better than what it used to be.

Zosia: I feel this! I didn't know i had wavy hair for soooo long! I had straight hair when I was a little kid, so just assumed it would stay that way. Then my hair became dry and frizzy as a young adult - but because I kept treating my hair like it was straight! Thankfully, a lovely hairstylist said to me "girl, you have wavy hair". My wavy hair come out was insane! I shrieked with joy because I always wanted wavy hair now that I'm caring for my hair as it is (wavy, not straight) my hair is so much healthier and prettier!

Angelina Faria: Love this video so much! It so good to help people to love their natural hair

Vitória Coelho: I just have to say. This is amazing my hair does not look the same. Loved it. Amazing videos and content thank you so much

Ashley Sanchez: This is the EXACT video I needed to see! About 4 years ago I stopped washing my hair everyday and stopped using products and actually started straightening my curly hair. Well now my hair is barely even considered wavy now. I've been trying to get my curls back and have tried a bunch of different curly products but I see with this video it's the technique that goes along that's kinda most important. Thank you ladies! I have hope to have my curly hair again

Kylie Lesmeister: This video came at the perfect time! I have a really pretty deep wave and it only last after my hair air dries and it falls out the end of the next day :( I will try this!! Thank you!!!

Leyla Norooz: I would LOVE to see more videos like this where you transform friends and family's hair!

Betty Kasper: Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial. You ladies rock!!!

Sarawkweird: Finally a hair tutorial video I can relate to! I have been trying to hunt down products that actually work consistently on my curls for the longest time. I can never seem to figure out how to get smooth ringlets every time and usually end up looking like Merida from Brave. I'll check out these products annd techniques! Thank you so much for doing all this research and sharing it!! Now, I'm just conflicted about whose product routine to follow!

MlleKroo: Thanks for sharing this! I have this hair type, and I had given up on embracing the waves because I never got good results, but after finding this video I'm inspired to try again! One question: I have been using a microfiber Turbie Twist to dry my hair. It's a structured triangle shape. Do you think that would be acceptable for plopping, or do you think it's important to use the flat rectangular towel?

jackie reinstedler: I've had curly hair my whole life, and I'm still learning. Though I am fortunate to have curly hair, more volume even with age:) This video helps so much! New subscriber:)

Karen Lm: Thank you so much for this video. I actually had straight hair most of my life until menopause. Suddenly I had super wavy, curly, and frizzy hair. I had no idea how to wash it, style it, and dry it. This video gave me some great tips.

Sarah Green: I'd love to see a video of you doing a day two or day three refresh on wavy hair! I learned so many tips and tricks from this. I have slowly been trying to accentuate the waves in my hair and this helps a lot. I would love to see how I can make day two and three hair better

marvelshotwife: I followed this tutorial with different products and it worked. My hair so wavy it’s about a 2b or 2c tops. I love thanks for the tutorial. Btw scrunching your hair like you do with the water can get rid of the hard coat the gel makes with the same hold. Thanks for the vid

Julia P.: Could you do more wavy hair routines? I loved this! Thanks!

Aggie Orozco: Ok I want a 30 day update with their hairs!!!! This is how my hair started and my hair is significantly a tighter curl now. It takes time to find your way to do your hair but it’s worth it!

Amanda Marie: This was so informative. I always thought my hair was just frizzy or damaged. This really helped!

dmjeffries85: I recently cut 10 inches off my hair and after my first wash, it started to curl! I had no idea I had curls. Still learning how to work with my curls. Love watching your videos.

Caitlin M: This is the most useful wavy hair centric video I've seen since the pandemic made my hair long after five years of a pixie. More wavy hair videos please! Most curly hair wisdom online just doesn't work for me

Maria Hviding: Thanks to this video I discovered that my seester’s hair is wavy! just did her hair yesterday for the first time and it looks so good! Only thing is she now really wants to brush it, she claims she will get knots if she doesn’t that she has to brush out. I’m assuming brushing your hair while dry is a no no for wavy hair as well? Oh and any tips for wavy youtubers for my seester to follow?

Vi Sa: I was only led to the curl community when I heard the sentence "where there is frizz there are curls" Spread this sentence and I think a lot of people will realize their true hair texture

Randy Q.: Just wanted to say Mel ive been watching your vids for a min now, love your content always learning somethin new. I may not have natural curly hair like ya (my hair is naturally straight) but I always like treat my hair as if it was curly lmao. I would curl my hair with the curling iron, or perm my hair once in a while when i need a break of curling it everyday. Been doing this curling routine since like high school. Since your a hair stylist, I was wondering if you can make like a tips and tricks or a tutorial on curling straight hair, especially on a guy. Ik how to curl my hair, I would say ive developed my style throughout these years but idk i feel like there could be room for improvements or better techniques in doing so. My hair is pretty long on the top, sides go over my ear a bit and back have some length, but still short if that makes sense. Overall keep up with the great content Mel

Thunder Braun: Yay thank you so much for this!!! I’ve never known what to do with my wavy hair, especially because there’s a lot of it but it’s thin. I’ve always just straightened it or done nothing with it. I feel like white girls have that expectation of straight, voluminous hair but that’s not what my hair wants to do! Slightest humidity on my straightened hair is just chaos. This is the first time I’ve been excited and eager to bring out my natural waves and curls! Thank you ladies

Tenebris Sine Luce: I relate to this so much, when I was little my mom didn’t take care of my hair at all, I had straight hair for the longest times. I decided to cut my hair short short, and when I started to grow it back out I realized my hair was curly, like 2C-3A curly. To tell you I was shocked would be an understatement. But been taking care of it ever since

Christine Alyse: You ladies are adorable!❤️ My hair is always frizzy and doesn’t straighten well…starting to think I may have a natural curl! 31 years old and just learning about my natural hair texture haha thank y’all!!!

Kira Kira: This is exactly the video I needed!!! I never do anything with my hair except brush it and let it air dry. I know its supposed to be wavy but it just never was- I'm gonna try something similar tomorrow when I wash my hair!

CraftyShark: I have long wavy hair and I'd love to see a tutorial about volume for wavies! Wash day is usually my best day, then on subsequent days my waves stay but the top is practically pasted to my head. I've tried clips, changing my part, mousse vs. gel, root powders, etc. and nothing works!

Jaime Brooke30: Awesome video! My hair was always wavy when wet. I wish I knew I could of defined my waves and made them stay. I am going to try and recreate these techniques on my hair.

Nyt Shaed: So... watched this video. Got some products, and OMG!!! had 0 idea I had wavy hair! I have hated my hair for years, typically wore it straight, realized it would frizz in humidity and the straightness would disappear. I'm having some fun, unlocking my inner rock goddess with these waves! Thank you so much!!!!

Jackie Boris: i love that they coordinate their outfits

The Dark Overlord: This has so many views! Congrats to Mell and Amanda and all those who learned something new about their hair!

Katie Demetriff: Omg! I’ve been fighting my hair for years not even knowing I have wavy hair. I watched your video and did my hair the next day. Waves!

Katerine Lay: so much curly potential in their hair, I cant be the only one hoping they go on the CG journey and also hoping to see their progress :)

Valerie Valle: I have long hair. My hair is also very heavy, which has weighed my waves down. These tips helped so much!!!

Elsie's Youtube: I overthink a lot and I would always think maybe I’m just faking my waves because my hair is barely wavy when wet but this video really confirmed that indeed my hair is wavy. Also my mom would say things like: adding product/ scrunching it gives me waves, my hair is really just straight and she hates my wavy hair :/

Khadine Gómez: They brought to light their natural beauty. Well done!

Light Sounds: Thank you this is the best Ive seen for wavy hair. I have done a similar process in the past and my waves looked amazing.

Seo: I’ve seen my dad’s photos from early twenties and his hair was SOOO curly. I remember how upset I was when I cut my hair and they were crazy and all over the place. Now I’m convinced I have wavy hair but I just never knew how to take care of them. I’m motivated to try this method to see how it goes. Wish me luck

SingenStatt Atmen: I always knew my hair was 'wavy' but I wasn't too happy because it would always lie flat on my head and only get slightly wavy towards the bottom. I am 25,and only a year ago I finally started treating it differently, embracing the waves, and is has changed *so much*. Now the waves start right at the top, sometimes they even form beautiful curls. Never been as happy with my hair as I am now.

niiora: finally a more wavy type! Would like to see more wavy type routines.

Anna S: Thank you for your step-by-step instructions! I've been trying to find content like this. I have a question, if I do not want to use the diffusing method, could I just leave my hair in the towel? Or can I take it out of the towel and let it air dry? Thanks!

Laurel: I've always known my hair was wavy but it's never very defined at all, and my dad and grandpa both have/had hair that was so wavy it's nearly curly at times. I wonder how defined my waves would be if I really took care of them. I'll have to try it someday

Jae D.: Ive been wondering what I was doing wrong. NOW I KNOW! Thank you so much. I've had so much trouble finding tips like this. I only just realized diffusers were just as good for wavy hair as super curly hair. Lmao. Now I need to try the plumping and plopping! Seriously-- THANK YOU!!!!

SuzyBear Heart: This is the best wavy hair tutorial ever. I can't wait to try!

Tiffany Guido: This was so much fun to film!!! This opened my eyes to my curly hair journey that I never knew I had. I really recommend watching this video and sharing it with anyone who has curly hair!!!

Allie Bengochea: I spent my childhood fighting my natural texture. I was completely clueless when it came to styling my very thick head of frizz. For years I strongly envied my straight haired friends with their silky smooth locks. It wasn't until I moved to the humid NW climate that I was forced to accept what I was given. Initially I would spend literal hours styling my hair. I'd separate it into three layers and work small sections in each layer. I'd use a paddle brush to blow dry my hair in layers followed by straightening the sections of each layer. I'd have to run the iron over multiple times for an acceptable state. All this effort and time wasted just for the frizzy mess to reappear the instant humidity touched my straightened strands. It didn't take long before I was over the fight. I did try using a curling iron after smoothing the sections for a time as i reluctantly began to accept my hairs tendency to bend. After wasting hours of my life needlessly "styling" away my natural texture, I learned to appreciate and nurture my strands. Once I mastered which products to use, it was effortless for my hair to look great! Now I understand I'm blessed to have texture and the ability to wash, add product and go. Many of my straight haired friends envy my curls and wish their hair would hold texture. I still own a straightener but haven't picked it up in years. NATURAL BEAUTY IS TRUE BEAUTY!!! We all can be attractive, in our various ways; Owning YOUR unique shade is what being beautiful is really all about!

Carrie Kelleher: So I stumbled upon this video and today I tried it out and THANK YOU. I’m 35 and have been trying for years to get my waves to actually be wavy and nothing ever worked like this.

Anni Mau: I discovered this about my hair over the last year when I didn't bother brushing out my hair after washing it in quarantine. I can't believe so many of us think we have straight hair. Nothing else is straight about me lol

Quinette Adaobi: This is a special edition of your texture Tuesday! Lol Seriously I love Love the fun on here.I Smiled all through.Your cousins hairs are goals.full watch much fun see you soon.

ThrashMagnetic: My hair when I'm sick: perfect My hair a minute before a shower: perfect My hair whenever I'm home: perfect My hair when I have to go out: You need to get this straight I will never cooperate with you.

Vandita Tomer: I absolutely love how fun but also how informational the video was. Thank you for sharing, going to go try on my hair now

Romy Kruse: First you ladies are the cutest fam jam EVER <3. Second, your video inspired me to see if my stick straight hair (not even frizzy) could possibly wave a little. OMG my hair is seriously wavy and I had NO idea! Thank you so much for this. Please please can you make more videos on wavy hair care and possibly hair styles would be amazing. Thank you for being so awesome!!!

Amy Lee: I've recently discovered I too have curly/wavy hair!! Still learning how to treat it, this is so helpful!!

cnp53: I’m so happy I found this video I always said my hair can’t be totally straight cause it’s so frizzy and when I get out the shower it’s definitely wavy!!

LaCoolPapaya: This is like hair's version of coming out

Molly Fitz Brown: Love this! I never plop but am going to give it a try! My hair is a little curlier than your guests but love the products on all of you, going to check them out too :)

Elf: This made me realize that I actually have wavy hair lmao. I always wondered why it would puff and shrink really bad with short hair cuts tbh. Then again you'd think I'd realize when I'd braid, or sleep with my hair in a bun or towel while wet, it would stay wavy and curly for 2 days, that I had waves lmao.

Abundant Life: I noticed that when I went too long between cuts my hair would go flat and straight. Once I found the right hairdresser to put proper layers in and had it cut every 6 weeks it’s been wavy/ curly again. You need to have the layers, cut regularly. Also, soft water works too, like when you get caught in the rain you get curly hair. Aveda curl enhancer which you apply to damp hair really works to enhance the curl, I never use a hair dryer or heat appliances.

sassifraz: Love this video Mel! ❤️❤️❤️ Question: How do you maintain the wavy hair on day 2 of not washing? Is there a good way to keep your hair while you sleep? I always struggle with tangles and frizz on day two.

Mansters: When I don’t brush my hair after showering I definitely see wavy hair. People were always confused w my hair because some days my hair would be wavy or straight. I’m going to try to take care of my hair now, this video motivated me and inspired me. Thank you guys :,)♥️♥️

Cata la: this was exactly my hair I always thought I just had very frizzy sometimes puffy straight hair and only in the end of last year I realized that maybe it's actually wavy hair. Also, my cousin's hair is as curly as yours so this made me happy to see that you also have wavy cousins.

Lori Hatz: Please do more with your wavy cousins!!! I love watching you! I have wavy hair and your demonstration with your cousins was very helpful!!

Linda Anber: Thanks to you, I have beautiful curls and waves instead of a frizzy mess. Who knew I had curly hair? Mel.

Márcia Pereira: This is the only video that truly helped me with my hair! Thank you so much!

Kai Baby: In high school I didn't know what my curly hair texture was because my mom didn't know how to do my hair and it was always straightened every month. I'm surprised it never got damaged. I went through the struggle trying to learn how to do my hair curly and what products to use.

Sincerely, It's Stephanie: This is my hair type. I can’t wear my hair straight due to the frizz. I always curl my hair with a curling iron. My wavy hair holds the fake curls nicely. This seems like a lot of work. My daughter has naturally curly hair and she puts a lot into caring for it.
